Interesting week! I suspected my soil as the cause of seedling #2's curling/clawing/stunting, so transplanted both into a ProMix organic + perlite mixture. Seedling #1 had a decent root network, while #2 had almost nothing growing. (I also have a bunch of veggies starting in the same soil, and the same curling/clawing/stunting happened with my tomato plants)...
I also lowered my light to 24 inches. #1 started to pickup growth almost immediately once into the ProMix (while #2 is slowly trying to rebound). In the meantime, I began germinating another CBD AutoCheese seed which has now been planted in ProMix and into the tent.
As for the problematic soil, it was 75% peatmoss which had not been treated with lime, and I think it was too acidic. Either way I will stick with the ProMix for now.
Will be starting some light nutrients this week - going to go with a 5-1-1 fish emulsion.
One of my plants (#2 in the photos) seems stunted and is curling/clawing. I know that is a sign of overwatering, but it has been watered only once in 7 days - the first day it was planted (and only 100 mls of spring water). Any other ideas? Thanks!
Hi @GeorgeSmiley! This looks like a combination of heatwave and too much water/humidity. Good to see that they overcome this slight issue. Happy growing 👊
Looking for some tips on when is best to harvest! I have heard that you want primarily red pistils and mostly cloudy trichomes with a few ambers thrown in. Any recommendations and/or observations on how far along my plant might be would be appreciated!
The best psychoactive properties will come from your cloudy milky trichomes. That is when the thc will be at it's highest. The clear and amber will contain less desirable compounds. It is always a juggling act trying to get the best mix because different buds will ripen at different times. It is something you have to kinda play around with to find the effect you like. But the more cloudy you have the happier you will be. It can be tricky to see cloudy at first but the amber are easy to spot. Don't let them amber up too much. I see a few cloudy on yours and no amber so you will probably be looking a week maybe 2 til harvest. Just look at them every day and you will see the change. Good luck
Man that plant is looking beautiful and dense!
How is the smell?
Cant wait to.see your harvest off this plant!
Going to follow another cropking strain grower!
Hi,
I use a free magnifier app on my iPhone for those close up photos to look at the trichomes seems to do the job and you can post the photos win win win 😀

Ya, she’s starting to flower. Those white hairs are preflowers. From the research I’ve done, (I’ve only been growing them since yesterday haha) you don’t want to transplant them. Plant them in the same pot its entire life, so make sure it’s big enough. I was told 3 gal. Their growth is stunted and their internal timer keeps going. I was told to expect preflowers after approx 30 days. Hope this helps and that someone else can corroborate this info.
Good luck 👍🏻
Nice looking plant .... I just got done harvesting a Northern Lights Auto and a AK-49 Auto myself, now awaiting harvest for my White Widow Auto, check them out if you can, I wish you success with rest of your grow and ...... HAPPY GROWING !!!!
I have a pack of these I am looking to start outside once the weather is nicer. If you’re looking for what I think is a good diary of this strain @Njanne has a good one. Good luck.
I’ve had good experiences with Crop King Seeds so far, and a cool pin included to boot. Looks like you have a professional looking tent! Good luck GeorgeSmiley.
