Clean Room, Clean Energy – Sterilization & Preparation Before any seed touched water, the temple had to be purified. Preparation is everything, and we take cleanliness as seriously as lighting or nutrients. The entire 8 × 8 ft (≈ 2.4 × 2.4 m) tent was stripped down and deep-cleaned — every corner, fan blade, and duct. We vacuumed all surfaces, then washed with a bleach solution, followed by a hydrogen-peroxide-infused rinse for maximum sanitation. But this run, we added something new to our ritual: UVC sterilization. We’re using the Future of Grow UVC-60, a compact yet powerful UVC device that emits germicidal light to neutralize unseen contaminants — mold spores, bacteria, and viruses — both on surfaces and in the air. For a full week before introducing the plants, the UVC-60 ran for 12 hours each day, moved to different positions daily to ensure complete coverage throughout the tent. ⚠️ Safety Note: UVC light is extremely effective, but it is not safe for direct human exposure. Never operate the device while anyone (or pets) are inside the room. Always wear protective clothing, gloves, and UVC-rated safety glasses when handling or repositioning the unit. UVC light can cause skin and eye damage if used without proper precautions — always treat it with the same respect as any high-energy sterilization tool. This extra layer of preparation brings peace of mind and a true reset — a sterile, radiant environment ready for new life. Clean space, clean start, clean energy.
