Northern Light DWC

Dernert420 I'm back with a DIY DWC grow, Northern Lights. It took me a week to get the system stable and to get used to DWC. I think I've got it under control now. Let's see what happens.

Dernert420 Week one is over, on to week two. About 7cm in a week is impressive. The plant is getting 25% from the P600 at a height of 55cm. That seems to be working well. The fan is slightly bent towards the plant and on the lowest setting. I changed the water today because there was some slime in the old one that had settled around the roots and made them "clump." Unfortunately, two or three root strands broke during the cleaning. I hope it can handle that. Please understand the nutrient information for 14L. I don't get why I have to calculate it down to one liter :D

Dernert420 End of week 2. Beginning of week 3. The plant and the roots are growing and growing. I'm slowly preparing them for a higher EC so that they can develop stronger, and I've slightly lowered the light and increased the intensity. Let's see how they take this over the next few days. Dernert420 End of week 3. Beginning of week 4. The plant is doing fantastic. Water change was on Friday, and I also slightly increased the EC and lowered the pH. The fan is running continuously. In the next few days, I will be topping.

Dernert420 Week 4 is over. Start Week 5. Guys, DWC is the hit. You can watch the plant grow daily. Even after the topping, there was and is no stopping. It just keeps growing. Today, after the water change, I increased the EC. Let's see how it will react.

Dernert420 Week 5 is over. Week 6 begins. It was a good week. Despite topping, LST, and less defoliation, there are no signs of stress. I'll give her another week, then I'll switch to 12/12.

Dernert420 End of week 6. Beginning of week 7 and flowering week 1 Today switched to 12/12. I’m super excited for the stretch and the flowering phase. Let’s go.

Dernert420 A bit late :) End of week 7 BW 1 Beginning of week 8 BW 2 Unfortunately, the pot broke, probably due to the thick taproot. It got detached. I thought this was the end, but no xD 2 days of stress and now it's back on track. EC is dropping pH is rising This plant is just insane and fascinating. Let's keep going. Let's see what happens.

Dernert420 She has wonderfully survived root damage. Yesterday I defoliated her heavily, I think too much, I only removed shoots, but now she's naked. Let's see what will happen xD

Dernert420 End of week 10 Beginning of week 11 and flowering week 5 It was pretty busy, so I didn't get around to writing. This week I dealt a lot with decreasing pH levels and increasing EC values. Checked and adjusted every day, adding adjusted water or replacing water gradually. I haven't managed to do a complete water change yet, but I should do that very soon to remove the salts from the water. Onward we go.

Dernert420 Beginning week 14 and flowering week 8 There's nothing to say. I'm just blown away by this genetics. Breeder indicates 9 flowering weeks. I suspect it will go until at most week 10.
