White Truffle 🍄‍ aka Candy Truffel

McBubatz 1st week starts and the White Truffle gets a new home. In the coming days, I'll post some better photos. Bio Tabs fertilizer added according to manufacturer instructions (final pot) before transplanting, plus a little Great White, about 1g, into the hole where it was planted.

McBubatz Week 2 starts, everything is good so far. Oh, today my Vivosun dehumidifier finally arrived, painfully installed 😅 and put into operation. Now I'm ready for high humidity levels 💪

McBubatz 3rd week, everything is tip-top with the White Truffle, it's the biggest and is progressing nicely. 1 tablet of Voodoo Juice Plus has been divided among the 4 plants. Wishing you all happy holidays 🎄🎅 and stay healthy, see you next week 👋.

McBubatz 4th week, the White Truffle seems to feel more comfortable at the slightly cooler temperatures than the others, good growth and it's already starting to smell nice 😁. Today it was topped, and in a few days the training will begin 💪. Wishing you all a happy New Year's Eve and a great start to the new year 🎆🎇

McBubatz 5th week, the cold is hitting harder than expected. During the day, I get around 20° and at night it sometimes drops to 14°. Well, there's not much I can do right now except hope for the best, although the White Truffle is handling it better than the others. Topping has definitely gone well, and with about 70% lamp power, it should at least get a bit warmer during the day. I'll see what I can do about the nighttime temperature; due to lack of space, it will probably stay like this 😅 unfortunately, I can't add any more equipment 🙈 So I did a bit of research and came across the Vivosun AeroFlux W70 and ordered it. It's really cool, an ultra-compact heater that brought the tent up to a nice 24° in about 5 minutes. I'll gradually increase the temperature by a degree every few days until I reach 26-27°C during the day and not below 20-21°C at night.

McBubatz Week 6, right now things are looking somewhat good again with the ladies, temperatures are no longer a problem, growth is back on track, and some defoliation has been done. If everything goes smoothly, we'll probably switch to 12/12 next week. McBubatz Week 7, start of flowering week 1. I switched to 12/12 today and started feeding the bloom fertilizer, a bit less than the manufacturer's recommendations. Otherwise, the ladies have been doing well these past weeks and have caught up nicely even though the cold start wasn't exactly optimal. Humidity will now be gradually reduced to about 40% over the next few days, temperature has settled around 25°. BW1 Day 4, Picture 4 & 5

McBubatz 8th week, BW 2. The White Truffle is doing great, currently the tallest and widest of them all, even if just slightly. It drinks like a fish, I have to water it almost every day, while the others only need it every 2 days. Growth is top-notch, whether it's warm or cold, the performance so far is really impressive. Some leaves were removed to bring a bit of light to the center. Next week, probably a bit more will be taken off, definitely need to remove a few shoots, it's really huge right now 😅. McBubatz Week 9, BW 3. The White Truffle is huge 🙈 I’ll be defoliating a bit and lollipopping in the next few days, I think we’ll also have to remove a few shoots. Other than that, it’s great, growing like crazy and still very thirsty. Photos for the updates will come in the next few days. BW 3 Day 4, defoliated, lollipopped, and removed a few shoots. McBubatz 10 weeks, BW 4. The White Truffle has grown nicely, already producing quite a few pistils and trichomes. It's the tallest and widest of them all; I think topping it twice would have been a good solution to keep it at the same height, but there's just one shoot that has "overdone" it a bit🤣. Otherwise, it's doing well; unfortunately, I damaged a few leaves at the top when going in and out as it got caught on a yellow sticky trap, but it’s handling it easily. McBubatz 11. Woche, BW 5. White Truffle is zwar ne ordentliche Pflanze die sich wunderbar macht bis jetz aber momentan sind die Terps eher sehr fruchtig süß 😅 also typische White Truffle erkennen ich bis jetzt nich. Naja egal, is gut dabei wenns weiter so geht is schon ok so dann 😄

McBubatz 12th week, BW 6. White Truffle drinks like a hole 😅 2 liters every day and the soil has only minimal residual moisture the next day. Otherwise, she's slowly building up the buds more and more; I might put in some improvised supports in the next few days since the branches are getting heavier. McBubatz 13th week, BW 7. White Truffle drinks like a hole, but the buds are rather small compared to the others, and unfortunately, I don't think they'll get much bigger. I don't know what the pheno fairy has blessed me with, but this definitely doesn't resemble a White Truffle according to the description 🤣. The smell is extremely sweet and reminds me of Juicy Fruit gum 😅. I don't want to complain, but I really expected something different.

McBubatz 14th week, BW 8. White Truffle is in the final stage, nutrients are now being reduced with every watering so that by next week none will be given and we are approaching the end. I don't think the buds will show much more change, trichomes are still a few clear, many milky, and a few amber. I think harvesting will happen towards the end of next week. McBubatz So it's finally time and the White Truffle has been cut down 😄. When pulling it out, the side branches gave up and fell over, so unfortunately I couldn't take any decent pictures of the buds, but it's not that bad, I'll get some when they're dry. They're now pre-trimmed and drying, about half of them went into the Dryferm Bags, I want to give them another try 😅, let's see which one turns out better in the end.
