DogDoctorOfficial Welcome to the beginning of our Lemon Cherry Gelato journey in the 12/12 seed run — an experiment made with curiosity, community, and creativity.
🌼 Germination Summary
Seed Source - Zamnesia Seeds
Seed Count for This Report :
3 seedlings selected for documentation
(More were germinated; only the standout ones were kept for reporting.)
Starting Method:
All seeds began in a CannaKan germination system for observation.
At around the 36-hour mark, early root development signs were visible.
Seedlings were then placed into:
• PRO-MIX soil (all three Lemon Cherry Gelatos)
• Some under small humidity domes
• All in consistent environmental conditions shared with the entire tent
Emergence
Within approximately 2–3 days, all three Lemon Cherry Gelatos broke the surface with healthy, uniform vigor.
Their emergence timing was consistent with the other autos in the tent, forming a synchronized start line for the project.
⸻
🌡️ Environmental Context (Shared Tent Conditions)
These environmental notes are descriptive observations across the full project:
• Relative Humidity: approx. 60–65%
• Temperature Day: ~26–28°C
• Temperature Night: ~20–21°C
• Humidifier: running continuously
• Occasional misting to help stabilize moisture
• Heater: used during night cycles for warmth
• Lighting:
• Future of Grow — Air Grow Pro III HyperRED
• Under-canopy lighting (Lumiflora UE150) to be introduced later in the project
• Controllers: TrollMaster (previous partnership)
• Medium: PRO-MIX soil for all three LC Gelatos
• Tent: fully sanitized prior to starting the run
All Lemon Cherry Gelatos were treated equally under this shared environment.
⸻
🌈 Educational Notes for This Genetic
Lemon Cherry Gelato has a reputation for producing visually expressive individuals, often showing cosmetic and structural variation early on.
Part of the excitement in this run will be observing:
• Differences between the three selected seedlings
• How autoflowers behave in a 12/12 observational experiment
• Expression, posture, and overall personality of the plants as they develop
No expectations, no predictions — just curiosity and documentation.

📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens
All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6000 (for now A6700 will be doing all future updates) paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more.
Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture.
I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back.
It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal.
You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art.

DogDoctorOfficial 🍋🍒 Week 1 — Lemon Cherry Gelato | 12/12 From Seed | First Observations
Introduction & Gratitude
A huge thank you to everyone supporting this project: genetics providers, Plagron for the nutrient line, Future of Grow for the lighting and control system, Cannakan for the clean start, and the GrowDiaries community of supporters, critics, and followers. Your presence makes this more than a grow — it becomes a shared experience and a learning journey.
⸻
Genetics Overview — Lemon Cherry Gelato
This cultivar is known for citrus and sweet cherry terpene potential, balanced hybrid traits, and beautiful early morphology. Already in Week 1 she displays her own character.
⸻
Early Development — Long, Elegant First Leaves
Among all seedlings in the 8×8, Lemon Cherry Gelato stands out immediately. Her first true leaves are long, narrow, elegant, and beautifully symmetrical. Under macro photography, the serrations and venation look almost painted. Despite being under 12/12 from seed, she expresses confidence and early aesthetic structure.
⸻
Growing Medium — Pro-Mix Mycorrhizal 14.5 L Bags
Benefits of the mycorrhizal medium:
• Faster and healthier root colonization
• Improved nutrient uptake, especially phosphorus
• Better water distribution and drought tolerance
• Enhanced metabolic stability during 12/12-from-seed
• Stronger early vigor and more efficient compact growth
Grow bags also encourage air pruning and strong fibrous root development, which is ideal for short-cycle runs like 12/12.
Lemon Cherry Gelato appears to respond extremely well to this combination — the long early leaves are a good sign of strong underground development.
⸻
Feeding — Plagron Nutrient Strategy (Week 1)
All plants in the space share the same feeding mix:
In water:
• Terra Grow: 25 ml / 10 L
• Power Roots: 1 ml / L
• Pure Zym: 1 ml / L
• Sugar Royal: 1 ml / L
Foliar:
• Vita Race: 2.5 ml / L
Why it works well:
Power Roots + mycorrhizae creates a synergistic boost for early root expansion. Pure Zym keeps the medium active and helps nutrient uptake. Sugar Royal increases stress resistance under 12/12. Vita Race enhances early growth and leaf strength. Terra Grow provides the nitrogen support this fast-cycle method demands.
⸻
Environmental Conditions (Week 1)
• EC: ~1.0
• pH: ~6.0
• Water Temperature: 21–22°C
• Room Temperature: ~28°C
• Humidity: 65–70%
• CO₂: ~666 ppm
• PPFD: 500 from the start
These numbers are stable, healthy, and ideal for early 12/12 development.
⸻
Lighting — 500 PPFD Under Hyper Red Spectrum
Using the Future of Grow Air Grow Pro III 2.95 Hyper Red LED at 500 PPFD from day one. The Hyper Red spectrum and consistent PPFD help maintain tight internodes and support strong early leaf development. This strain seems particularly responsive to light, expressing refined leaf shape and good posture.
⸻
What to Expect Next
Weeks 2–3:
• Slow but steady vertical growth
• Root system expands aggressively with help from mycorrhizae
• Leaf width and color deepen
• Early hormonal adaptation to 12/12
Weeks 4–5:
• First mini-stretch
• Clear bud site formation
• Early fragrance hints on stem rubs (citrus/cherry tones)
This strain tends to become visually impressive early and aromatic early, even under a compact flowering schedule.
⸻
Metrics Being Tracked
• PPFD, dimmer %, and light height
• Temperature, humidity, and VPD
• EC, pH, and water temperature
• Morphology (noting the long early leaf structure)
• Root behavior in Pro-Mix bags
• Mycorrhizal response
• Any early terpene hints
⸻
Final Thoughts
Week 1 shows Lemon Cherry Gelato as an artistic and expressive cultivar. The long, elegant leaves and her strong early structure reflect excellent interaction between the genetics, Pro-Mix mycorrhizal medium, and the lighting environment. She may be small now due to the 12/12 schedule, but the foundation suggests a beautiful flowering stage ahead.
Thank you to everyone following this multi-strain, multi-medium 12/12 project. This folder is only beginning — and Lemon Cherry Gelato is already showing her unique soul.

DogDoctorOfficial Week 2 · VEG (12/12 from Seed)
We are now in Week 2 of VEG for Lemon Cherry Gelato, still running 12/12 from seed, and development is unfolding exactly as expected for this approach.
At this stage, the plants remain compact and relatively small, which is completely normal. The focus right now is clearly below the surface, with energy being directed toward root development rather than top growth. This method is an art in itself, and part of the experience is observing how each genetic expresses under these conditions.
⸻
🌱 Plant Development & Observations
• Overall growth remains controlled and tight
• No major stretch yet, as expected at this stage
• By the end of Week 2, plants are already showing:
• Three full pairs of true leaves
• A fourth pair actively emerging, which is impressive for this timeline
• Some plants are showing funky, personality-driven leaf expressions
• Not present on all individuals
• Leaf shapes look slightly irregular or playful
• Curious to observe whether this:
• Grows out into more standard leaf structure
• Or remains a genetic trait as the plants mature
This early individuality is one of the most interesting aspects of Lemon Cherry Gelato so far.
⸻
🌡️ Environment (Unchanged)
• Temperature: Same as previous week
• Humidity: Same as previous week
• Light Schedule: 12/12 from seed
• Room & light setup: Identical to last week
Consistency remains the priority.
⸻
💡 Light Intensity (PPFD)
• Current PPFD: ~500–600 PPFD
• Compared to last week, intensity has increased slightly (~+50 PPFD),
but still remains within the same controlled range
Plants are growing into the light gradually, and it’s expected that visible top growth will increase once the root system is more established.
⸻
💧 Watering & Feeding
• Feeding & watering: Same as previous week
• Nutrient regimen: Unchanged
• pH / EC / TDS: Same stable values as before
No adjustments needed at this point.
⸻
🔮 What to Expect
• Increased growth speed once root development stabilizes
• Continued leaf stacking and expansion
• Early signs of structure and plant architecture becoming clearer
• Possible clarification on whether the funky leaf traits persist or normalize
🚫 What Not to Expect (Yet)
• No explosive vertical stretch yet
• No need for heavier feeding
• No drastic PPFD increases
• No flowering behavior at this stage
Patience is key here.
⸻
📝 Final Notes
Lemon Cherry Gelato is progressing right on schedule for a 12/12-from-seed run. While top growth may appear slow, internal development is clearly happening. The early leaf count and emerging personality traits make this one especially interesting to follow.
This is one of those cases where observation matters more than intervention.

DogDoctorOfficial 🌱 Folder #1 — Lemon Cherry Gelato
Week 3 Veg — 12/12 From Seed
This run continues to surprise me in the best possible way.
This plant is an autoflower, grown 12/12 from seed, and honestly… it’s performing well beyond expectations. This is my first time ever running autoflowers under a strict 12/12 cycle from day one, and I didn’t know what to expect going in. What I’m seeing now is clear, confident growth — calm, structured, and healthy.
We are currently moving into the third pair of leaves, and what’s interesting is how balanced the behavior feels. At moments it almost feels like:
• the autoflowers are behaving like photoperiods
• or the photoperiods are behaving like autos
Either way, the plant is responding beautifully.
⸻
🌿 Growth & Structure
• Stage: Week 3 veg
• Light cycle: 12/12 from seed
• Height: ~10 cm
• Nodes: Third pair of leaves forming
• Overall vigor: Strong, steady, controlled
The leaves are lush, vibrant green, with excellent posture and spacing. Growth is compact but not stalled — exactly what I want to see at this stage, especially under 12/12.
⸻
🎨 Leaf Expression & Personality
We’re starting to see a bit of personality show up — nothing problematic at all.
There is some light discoloration / pigmentation variation on the leaves, creating a subtle, almost camouflage-like pattern.
Important to note:
• No signs of deficiency
• No stress signals
• No structural issues
Just natural expression, and honestly, it looks beautiful and unique. This is one of those moments where observation matters more than reaction. I’m loving it, and I’m very curious to see how this expression evolves as the plant matures.
⸻
🌡️ Environment & Feeding
All parameters remain identical to the previous report, keeping consistency across the room:
• Same temperatures
• Same humidity
• Same solution
• Same EC & pH
• Same airflow philosophy
Nothing changed — and that’s exactly the point.
The plant is responding positively within the system.
⸻
🧠 Observations So Far
What stands out most is how comfortable these autoflowers seem under 12/12. There’s no rush, no panic, no weird stretch — just calm, confident development with a strong focus on structure and roots.
This run is already teaching me something, and we’re only in week three.

DogDoctorOfficial 🍒 Lemon Cherry Gelato — Week 4 Update
Autoflower · 12/12 from seed
Quick recap (for anyone joining here)
This Lemon Cherry Gelato has been grown 12/12 from seed, alongside photoperiod plants, under the same exact conditions.
At this stage, we’re still observing how modern autoflower genetics can blur traditional lines — and once again, this plant is behaving more like a classic photoperiod in structure and rhythm.
No rush. No force. Just observation.
⸻
🌿 Plant Development
She’s doing beautifully:
• Currently at 6–7 nodes
• Strong, even branching
• Internodal spacing is balanced
• Leaf color is a lush, healthy green
• Structure is open and expressive
No real training has been applied:
• Only very light leaf bending here and there
• No topping, no LST, no stress
• The plant is shaping herself naturally — and doing a great job at it
She looks calm, confident, and full of potential.
⸻
🌡️ Environment Log — Week 4 (Shared Conditions)
Same conditions as logged for all plants this week:
• Temperature: ~25.7 °C
• Relative Humidity: ~60%
• CO₂: ~666 ppm
• PPFD: 600–700 (adjusted naturally based on plant size and distance to light)
• Nutrition & watering: unchanged, consistent, identical across the room
This consistency is key — it allows us to clearly see genetic expression, not environmental noise.
⸻
🧠 Observations & Notes
What’s especially interesting here is how stable and photoperiod-like this autoflower appears:
• No sudden flowering push yet
• Vegetative structure continues to build
• Growth rhythm matches the non-autoflowers closely
At this point, labels matter less than behavior — and her behavior is excellent.
⸻
🙏 Thank You
A big thank-you to everyone following along, supporting, and appreciating the process.
This diary is about learning together, observing without ego, and letting the plant speak.
She’s shining — quietly, confidently, beautifully 💚

📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens
All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more.

PS: A small heads-up — a few files didn’t make it into this update due to upload limits on Growdiaries (or simply her being a bit moody today 😄). We’ll try to upload the remaining photos next week. If possible, we’ll add them alongside the weekly update and clearly mark them as extra images.
Plenty of photos are already live though, so we hope you enjoy the update as it is. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Week 5 — 12/12 From Seed
Stage: Pre-Flower / First Flower (Transitional Week)
This week marks the true transition point. The plants are simultaneously vegetating, stretching, and initiating flower signals. Growth is active in all directions, and structure is beginning to lock in.
⸻
🌿 Plant Structure & Growth
• Height: ~25 cm (± a little, depending on individual)
• Overall shape: flat, round, bushy canopy
• Internodal spacing: tight and controlled
• Branching: strong, symmetrical, and responsive
The plants are opening beautifully. Branches are asserting themselves naturally, with no forcing — just guidance.
Uniformity across the girls is striking. Similar structure, similar pace, similar “language.” That consistency speaks volumes about both genetics and environment.
⸻
✋ Training Focus (More Intensive, Still Gentle)
This week we increased training in intention, not aggression:
• Leaf tucking and bending only
• No topping, no cutting
• Leaves are guided under growth tips to promote lateral branching
Response has been excellent. Each adjustment is followed by visible compensation and expansion. The plants want to branch — we’re simply making space for it.
⸻
🌱 Root Activity
Roots are now visibly emerging at the soil surface — a clear sign of:
• Healthy root pressure
• Active microbial and enzymatic processes
• A plant fully connected to its medium
This is exactly what we want to see at this stage.
⸻
✨ Plant Health & “Mood”
• Leaves: healthy green, good turgor
• Stems: thickening, flexible, well-supported
• Resin: early stickiness already present
• Overall response: calm, strong, cooperative
Everything indicates balance rather than stress.
⸻
💡 Lighting Update — Under-Canopy Introduction
By the end of this week, under-canopy lighting is being connected.
Why now?
• Plants are passing key developmental signals
• We want them to recognize photons from below early
• This helps guide structure, awareness, and later flower density
We are not forcing PPFD.
We are letting the plants grow into the light, learning where energy exists above and below.
⸻
Nutrient Adjustment — Cal-Mag Introduced
This week we introduce Cal-Mag into the recipe.
Reason:
Our water source is a blend of:
• Humidifier water
• Rainwater
Both are naturally low in calcium and magnesium. As demand increases during stretch and early flower signaling, supplementation becomes necessary to:
• Support cell wall development
• Prevent future deficiencies
• Maintain structural strength during expansion
This is a preventive, not reactive adjustment.
⸻
🌸 Autoflowers × 12/12 From Seed
For anyone still questioning this approach:
These plants are the answer.
Branching.
Structure.
Vigor.
Uniformity.
They are doing everything they should be doing — and doing it beautifully.
⸻
🔮 What to Expect Next (Week 6)
• Continued stretch with stronger apical definition
• Clearer pre-flower expression
• Increased lateral dominance
• Canopy filling outward rather than upward
• Light demand gradually increasing
Training will remain observational and responsive, not aggressive.
⸻
🙏 Final Words
Thank you to everyone following along, observing, learning, and sharing this space.
All major observations this week are fully photo- and video-documented — from canopy to stem to soil — so you can see what’s being described.
We move forward calmly, attentively, and with respect for the plant.
Let them shine 🌱✨
Training Philosophy: Why Less Touch Often Equals More Structure
At this stage, training is not about control — it’s about communication.
Every time we touch a plant, it responds hormonally. Too much intervention can interrupt its own decision-making process, especially during transitional weeks like pre-flower.
By tucking and bending instead of cutting, we allow the plant to:
• Maintain uninterrupted growth momentum
• Redistribute auxins naturally rather than abruptly
• Strengthen stems through adaptive response
• Decide where and how to branch based on light signals
Less touch doesn’t mean less guidance.
It means clearer signals and cleaner structure.
When the environment is stable and the plant is healthy, minimal intervention often results in:
• More uniform branching
• Stronger symmetry
• Reduced stress expression
• Better long-term flower support
In short:
We don’t force shape — we make space, and the plant does the rest.
Week 5 Veg/pre-flower | 8×8 Tent | Master Conditions
🌍 External Environment (Context)
• Outside temperature: ~5 °C
• Outside RH: 92–96% (very high humidity)
• Strong seasonal pressure influencing internal stability
⸻
🌡️ Internal Tent Conditions
• Tent temperature: ~21.8 °C
(noted drop due to cold external temps)
• Tent RH: ~58%
→ Very good considering outside conditions
⸻
💨 Airflow & Circulation
• Primary airflow: Bottom → top → wall return
• Pattern: Full-room vortex circulation
• Additional fans: Central airflow to break blind spots and mix layers
• Goal: No stagnant pockets, uniform VPD across canopy
⸻
💧 Water Source & Rationale
• Water: Dehumidifier water + rainwater
• Base EC: force
• Systems designed to support plant intelligence, not override it

DogDoctorOfficial 🍋🍒 Lemon Cherry Gelato — Week 6 From Seed
(Week 2 Flower · 12/12 From Seed)
Hello everyone 👋
Quick recap and a warm welcome to anyone joining the diary now, here’s where we are and how we got here.
🌱 From Seed to Now, Quick Context
These Lemon Cherry Gelato girls have been grown 12/12 from seed, and we are now entering what we consider Week 2 of flower / transition.
Pre-flowers are clearly visible, stacking has begun, and the stretch is now turning into early bulk.
They are in that beautiful in-between phase where they still look slightly vegetative, but their behavior is unmistakably flowering.
⸻
🌡️ Environment Update
• Day temperature: ~28°C (successfully raised)
• Humidity: ~65%
It’s still a bit cold outside, but as plant mass increases, lighting intensity goes up, and under-canopy lighting is added, the tent itself has become a stronger heat source.
This allowed us to stabilize conditions without forcing anything, exactly how we like it.
• PPFD: ~600–850 (depending on plant size and position)
• CO₂: ~900 ppm
• Airflow: unchanged
• vortex extraction
• cross-winds with multiple fans
• constant, gentle movement across the canopy
⸻
💧 Feeding & Nutrition Strategy
This week marks an important nutritional transition.
• EC: 2.4
• pH: 6.5
From this point forward, all feedings will be pH 6.0 and above.
The reason is simple: as flowering progresses, plants shift their nutrient uptake priorities, and slightly higher pH improves availability of key elements needed for bloom development.
Nutrient Change
• Introduced: Terra Bloom — 5 ml / L
• Removed: Terra Grow
This change is happening now, not earlier, because the plants have clearly entered the flowering transition.
There’s no rush, no shock, just following the plant’s signals.
The current recipe (our “Plagron” approach) continues to perform exceptionally well, and plant response has been outstanding so far.
⸻
🌿 Training & Plant Handling
We are continuing with a very minimal-stress approach:
• No topping
• No aggressive defoliation
• Only leaf bending and leaf tucking
This method keeps the structure open, exposes bud sites naturally, and avoids recovery downtime.
Simple, effective, and extremely practical, sometimes simplicity isn’t laziness, it’s efficiency.
The results speak for themselves:
• strong branching
• compact “ball” formations
• clean stacking
• healthy color fade beginning naturally
⸻
📸 Visual Progress
This update includes a large set of photos (studio + tent shots) to clearly show:
• the transition phase
• stretch turning into bulk
• visible growth differences over just one week
Every time the tent doors open, growth is noticeable, and comparing earlier photos to the latest ones makes that even clearer.
⸻
🔮 What to Expect Next
Over the coming weeks:
• stretch will gradually slow
• bulk and stacking will take over
• plant handling will be reduced even further
• stability becomes the priority
What not to expect:
• heavy pruning
• forced corrections
• unnecessary interventions
At this stage, the goal is to let the plants do what they already know how to do.
⸻
🙏 Thanks
Big thank you to:
• everyone following along
• newcomers and long-time readers
• supporters, critics, observers, all welcome
• the Grow Diaries Team and platform
• and all sponsors backing the journey
This is a key week in the run, and we’re excited to document it properly and share the learning with the community.
As always — we’re here to observe, guide gently, and let the plants express themselves 🌿💚

DogDoctorOfficial 🍋 Lemon Cherry Gelato — Week 7 from Seed
Flower Week 3 | 12/12 from Seed
Welcome back everyone — and welcome to anyone just joining the journey 👋
This is our Lemon Cherry Gelato update, currently Week 7 from seed, which we’re considering Flower Week 3 in our 12/12-from-seed room.
There’s a lot to talk about this week, so let’s start by bringing everyone up to speed.
⸻
🌱 Quick Recap — How We Got Here
This run is part of a larger 8×8 mixed-genetics environment, where multiple cultivars share the same room, light strategy, and environment.
The approach from day one has been:
• low stress
• observational
• plant-led decisions
• learning in real time
No chasing perfection — just paying attention.
The Lemon Cherry Gelato plants have been vigorous and very bushy since early on, with strong branching and dense foliage that required intervention as flower development began to accelerate.
⸻
✂️ Defoliation — Why This Week, Why This Way
This week we performed a fairly deep defoliation, similar to what was done on a few other girls in the room.
Why?
• The plants were extremely bushy
• Light penetration was becoming limited
• Airflow needed improvement
• Bud sites were stacking fast
We removed a significant amount of inner and overlapping foliage to:
• allow photons to pass through the canopy
• improve airflow
• help the plant focus energy where it matters
It may look aggressive in photos, but it was done intentionally and carefully.
⸻
🌿 Plant Structure & Phenotypes
You’ll notice two slightly different expressions in the photos:
• First photos → Lemon Cherry Gelato
• Second one → what we’re calling the “other” Cherry Gelato
Both plants:
• very bushy
• beautifully structured
• incredibly lush green
One plant showed some funky leaf expressions, but nothing concerning — genetics being genetics.
Both were defoliated deeply, but not excessively — just enough to give them room to breathe.
They are not alone in the room, and in a shared environment, balance matters.
⸻
🔥 Minor Observations
• A few burned leaves from under-canopy lighting
• Nothing serious
• Easily managed
• Already addressed
You’ll spot them in some of the mini photos.
⸻
🌡️ Environment & Feeding — Why We Changed Nothing
This week, nothing was changed on purpose.
Current parameters:
• Day temperature: ~28 °C
• Relative Humidity: ~65%
• EC: 2.4
• pH: 6.5
• Plant height: ~40 cm to ~80 cm
• Lighting: LED
Many growers would say these temperatures are too high for flower — but context matters.
Under LED lighting, leaf surface temperature runs ~2–4 °C cooler than ambient room temperature.
Because of that, we focus on leaf VPD, not room VPD.
The plant is what matters — not the number on the wall.
We are not chasing numbers.
We are paying attention to them.
⸻
🌱 Plant Response
The plants are telling us clearly that they’re happy:
• deep, lush green foliage
• no visible stress
• strong internodal structure
• uniform nutrient uptake across phenotypes
When the plant is happy, stability beats adjustment.
That’s why the feeding stayed exactly the same this week.
⸻
🔮 What to Expect (and Not Expect) Next Week
What we expect:
• visible bud stacking
• calyx development accelerating
• stretch slowing down
• energy shifting fully into flower production
What we don’t expect:
• major environmental changes
• aggressive interventions
• unnecessary corrections
Next week is about watching, listening, and letting the plants work.
⸻
🙏 Final Words
To our humble eyes, this garden is looking outstanding — but we’re always open to:
• criticism
• suggestions
• questions
• different perspectives
Lovers, haters, followers, OGs, newcomers — everyone is welcome here.
This is a shared space, and interaction is how we all grow.
Big thanks to:

Week 8 From Seed
Week 4 Flower (12/12)
The Room Is in Full Reproductive Mode
⸻
🔁 Quick Recap — The Road to Week 4
12/12 from seed. No extended veg.
Early structure built under restraint.
Defoliation last week to open airflow and light pathways.
And now?
We are no longer initiating flowers.
We are building them.
Week 4 is the bridge between stretch and stacking.
This is where architecture becomes yield.
⸻
🌿 Structural Expression — Why These Girls Stand Out
Lemon Cherry Gelato isn’t the tallest in the room.
But structurally?
Among the most dominant.
Wide lateral branching.
Thick stems.
Uniform top distribution.
Deep, lush green coloration.
Post-defoliation response was extremely strong.
No stall.
No sulking.
No nutrient imbalance signals.
You wouldn’t guess they were stripped last week.
That tells us:
• Root system is robust.
• Environmental stability is real.
• Carbohydrate reserves were sufficient.
• Stress recovery window was optimal.
Week 4 recovery like this sets up week 6 density.
⸻
🌡️ Environmental Analysis — High Energy, High Demand
Current conditions:
• Canopy temp: ~28°C
• RH: ~70%
• CO₂: 1000+ ppm
• PPFD: 800 → 1300 µmol/m²/s
This is a metabolically aggressive room.
At ~28°C with enriched CO₂, plants can process higher photon density efficiently.
But week 4 flower adds a new layer:
Bud mass is forming.
Transpiration shifts.
Microclimate inside the canopy thickens.
70% RH at this density is not ideal long-term.
Not panic territory — but now it’s a countdown.
Over the next 7–10 days, gradual RH reduction will be necessary as stacking intensifies.
Airflow and undercanopy lighting are currently preventing stagnation — and it shows.
No mold indicators.
No soft tissue collapse.
No stress clawing.
But vigilance increases from here.
⸻
💡 Lighting Strategy — Controlled Intensity
Main lighting intensity has increased with canopy height.
At week 4:
1300 µmol/m²/s is high.
But with CO₂ enrichment and no bleaching, they’re tolerating it.
We are not chasing light for ego.
We are watching leaf posture.
Currently:
• No tacoing.
• No upper bleaching.
• No stress fade.
That means intensity is within metabolic capacity.
⸻
🔦 Undercanopy Lighting — Minor Burn Explained
Let’s address it clearly.
One branch showed minor localized burn from undercanopy proximity.
Why now in week 4?
Because:
• Bud mass increases reflectivity.
• Leaf angle changes.
• Tissue sensitivity rises during reproductive build phase.
The under-light hit a close node.
Symptoms:
• Slight edge burn.
• No necrotic spread.
• No systemic reaction.
Action:
• Light repositioned.
• Distance corrected.
• Continued daily inspection.
Response:
She stabilized immediately.
This is why daily plant handling matters.
Yes, we physically take them out.
Yes, it’s work.
Yes, it’s worth it.
⸻
💧 Root Zone & Feeding — Transition to Potassium Demand
Soil EC: ~0.9
Watering EC: ~2.4
pH: ~6.5
Medium temp: ~22.5°C
Moisture: ~94% with active dry-backs
In week 4 flower, demand shifts:
Nitrogen importance decreases.
Potassium and phosphorus importance increase.
Micronutrient balance becomes critical.
Dry-back rhythm is stable.
No EC stacking.
No salt stress.
No overwatering symptoms.
They are drinking aggressively.
That’s what you want entering bud expansion phase.
⸻
🌸 Pistil Development — Now It Means Something Different
In week 1, pistils signal initiation.
In week 4, pistil density signals stacking potential.
Right now we see:
• Dense white pistil clusters.
• Even site distribution.
• No re-veg behavior.
• No hormonal confusion.
Flower genes are not just active.
They are stabilized.
The plant has committed to reproduction.
What happens in the next 10–14 days determines final structure weight.
⸻
The Room Is Alive — But Heavier
From the time-lapse frames:
The room looks thicker now.
More mass between nodes.
Less empty space.
Leaves are still praying.
Stems are supporting weight confidently.
No structural bending yet.
We move plants daily:
• Watering outside tent.
• Full inspection.
• Leaf repositioning.
• Light proximity adjustments.
This is not automation farming.
This is hands-on cultivation.
The room breathes.
We respond.
⸻
What To Expect — Weeks 5–6
Stretch will fully slow
Vertical stacking will accelerate
Calyx swelling will begin
RH must gradually drop
Light intensity may need micro-adjustments
Trichome heads will begin visible formation
This is density window opening.
⸻
🚫 What Not To Expect
No dramatic fade yet
No final terpene expression
No harvest timing predictions
No heavy amber trichomes
We are mid-race.
⸻

All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more.

DogDoctorOfficial 🌱 Lemon Cherry Gelato — Week 9 From Seed (Week 5 Flower)
We move forward with our Lemon Cherry Gelato, now entering what we call Week 5 of flower (Week 9 from seed, 12/12 from start).
This week brings something special — not one, but two expressions of the same genetic, grown side by side, each telling a slightly different story.
The first Lemon Cherry Gelato remains untouched. No defoliation. Just observation, light guidance, and studio time. She stands full, natural, and honestly… stunning.
The second Lemon Cherry Gelato took a different path — what started as a light clean-up turned into something closer to an “army-style haircut.” A full defoliation to open space, improve airflow, and allow light to penetrate deeper into the canopy.
Two plants. Same genetics. Two approaches. Same goal — let them express.
---
### 🌿 How We Got Here
This is a 12/12 from seed run, meaning these autoflower plants never experienced a traditional vegetative phase. From the start, they grew with the signal that time is limited — and that shows in their structure.
Instead of wide, heavily branched vegetative growth, they focused early on vertical development and flower initiation. Now, in Week 5, we see the result: dense bud sites forming across a compact but highly productive structure.
---
### ✂️ Why We Defoliate (And Why We Didn’t — Yet)
The room is getting full. Really full.
The decision to defoliate the second plant came from necessity:
• Improve airflow
• Reduce humidity pockets
• Increase light penetration
• Redirect energy toward flower sites
On the first plant, we chose patience.
Sometimes doing nothing is also a decision.
Next week, she may follow the same path — but for now, she shows us what happens when we simply let her be.
---
### 🌸 About Those White Hairs (Pistils)
What you’re seeing across all those bud shots — those bright white hairs — are pistils.
They are part of the female reproductive system of the plant. Their natural purpose is to catch pollen.
But in our case, there is no pollination.
So what happens?
The plant continues producing more and more pistils, trying to fulfill that biological mission. At the same time, it increases resin production as a protective mechanism.
This is exactly what we want.
More pistils → more potential bud sites → more resin → better final expression.
---
### Feeding Strategy (Why This Mix Works)
We keep the nutrition consistent and intentional:
• Terra Bloom → Base nutrients for flowering
• Green Sensation → PK booster + metabolic support
• Power Buds → Encourages flower initiation and structure
• Sugar Royal → Supports terpene and sugar production
• Pure Zym → Enzyme activity, root zone health
• CalMag → Stability under LED conditions
Nothing excessive. Nothing random. Just a balanced system supporting what the plant is already trying to do.
---
### 🌡️ Environment & Plant Feedback
Room conditions:
• Temperature: ~28°C
• Humidity: ~65%
• CO₂: ~1000 ppm
On paper, some might question these numbers.
But we don’t grow on paper — we grow by reading the plant.
We follow leaf behavior, transpiration, and overall response (leaf VPD in practice, not just charts).
The plants are drinking ~1.5L per day, standing around 1.2m tall, and showing strong metabolic activity.
That tells us everything we need to know.
---
### 🍃 Small Imperfections
We noticed minor leaf burn from under-canopy LED exposure.
Nothing serious — and most of it was naturally removed during defoliation on the second plant.
A reminder:
Not everything needs correction. Some things just need understanding.
---
### 🎭 Meet Mr. Baggy
This week also marks the official arrival of Mr. Baggy.
You may have seen him around already… but now he joins the journey properly.
Part observer, part assistant, part silent chaos.
Welcome to the crew.
---
### 🔮 What to Expect Next Week
• Continued bud stacking
• Increased density and structure
• Possible defoliation of the first plant
• Early signs of terpene development becoming more noticeable
We are entering the phase where everything starts to connect.
---
### 🤝 Gratitude
To everyone who passes by —
The long-time supporters, the new ones, the curious minds, the silent observers.
To the platform.
To the partners.
To those who love it and those who question it.
All of you are part of this.
We grow together

DogDoctorOfficial 🍒 Lemon Cherry Gelato — Week 10 (Week 6 Flower)
12/12 from seed | No veg | Full expression phase
⸻
🔁 Quick Recap — From Seed to Structure
This run followed the same philosophy:
straight 12/12 from seed, minimal interference, maximum observation.
From early on, these girls showed vigor, tight internodes, aggressive lateral growth, and a natural tendency to bush out heavily while still pushing vertical dominance.
What we built over the weeks:
• A dense, multi-layered canopy
• Strong branching capable of supporting weight
• Healthy root zone driving consistent uptake
And now, in week 6 flower, everything is being converted into mass, resin, and expression.
⸻
🌿 Defoliation Session — Opening the Beast
This week was a big moment.
You brought them into the studio and made a bold call:
deep defoliation (fan leaves with stems removed)
Leaving:
• Bud sites fully exposed
• New growth intact
• Air channels opened through the entire plant
This was not just aesthetic, it was functional:
• Improved airflow through a very dense structure
• Light penetration reaching lower and inner bud sites
• Reduced humidity pockets inside the canopy
With plants this bushy, this move shifts the system from crowded to optimized.
They are now set up to focus energy directly into flowers.
⸻
🌸 Calyxes & White Hairs — Flower Construction Mode
Now we are seeing real flower formation.
Calyxes are the core of the bud, each one a potential resin-packed structure.
At this stage:
• They are stacking tightly along the branches
• Forming early bud density
• Beginning to swell, but not yet at peak size
White hairs (pistils) are everywhere, and that is exactly what we want.
They signal:
• Active reproductive phase
• Continuous flower site expansion
• Ongoing energy push into bud production
Bright, fresh pistils means the plant is still building, still reaching, still producing.
⸻
✨ Trichomes — Resin Factories Switching On
This is where Lemon Cherry Gelato starts showing personality.
We are now seeing:
• Frost spreading across sugar leaves
• Resin glands forming on calyx surfaces
• Stickiness increasing day by day
Functionally, trichomes are:
• Protection from UV, pests, and environment
• Chemical factories for cannabinoids and terpenes
Right now they are mostly clear to early cloudy, meaning:
• Terpene profile is starting to develop
• Potency is rising, but not fully matured
This is the production phase, not the ripening phase.
⸻
Nutrition — Driving Heavy Output
These girls are feeding like monsters and your numbers show it.
EC: 2.9
High, but clearly being handled without stress.
Your stack:
• Terra Bloom providing the PK backbone for flower development
• Green Sensation enhancing density and metabolic efficiency
• Sugar Royal supporting terpene expression and carbon flow
• CalMag Pro maintaining structural integrity and transport under high demand
• Power Buds boosting flower site activation and early stacking
At this stage it is not about adding more, it is about delivering consistently.
⸻
⚖️ pH Control — Unlocking the Feed
With EC at 2.9, pH becomes even more critical.
• pH around 6.5 is the sweet spot for soil bloom uptake
• Lemon Kick helps bring the solution down naturally
• pH Plus allows fine adjustments when needed
This ensures nutrients are not just present, but available.
High EC without correct pH means locked potential, and you are avoiding that perfectly.
⸻
🌡️💧 Environment — Stable but Alive
• Around 26°C
• Around 60 percent RH
• Strong, consistent light across the canopy
Now the key detail is the leaf to air relationship, what you called leaf DPD.
With dense plants, high transpiration, and external humidity support, you had a naturally balanced exchange between leaf surface and air.
After defoliation:
• Transpiration becomes more efficient
• Microclimates are reduced
• Gas exchange improves
This supports stronger nutrient flow and better resin production.
⸻
💧 Water & Environment Synergy
• Water temperature at 18°C supports high oxygen availability and strong root metabolism
• Outside conditions around 10°C and 84 percent humidity
That external humidity is quietly helping stabilize your internal environment, making it easier to maintain balance without stressing the plants.
Working with the environment, not against it.
⸻
🔮 What to Expect — Week 7 Flower
Expect:
• Noticeable bud thickening as calyx swelling begins
• Pistils still active but clustering more densely
• Trichomes moving further into cloudy
• Terpenes becoming louder and more complex
• Plants redirecting energy fully into flower mass
Do not expect yet:
• Final swelling
• Significant amber trichomes
• Heavy fade
You are transitioning from build into early maturation, but not there yet.
⸻
🤝 Shoutouts — From Grower to Growers
Big love to:
• The GrowDiaries platform for giving all of us a space to share
• The community of growers exchanging knowledge and experience
• The OG followers who have been here since day one
• The new ones joining the journey
• The supporters, the silent watchers, the loud ones, the skeptics, everyone has a place here
And always:
• The genetics behind this Lemon Cherry Gelato expression
• The sponsors and partners supporting the process
• The tools, lights, and environment making this possible
⸻
These girls are not just growing, they are performing.
Week 6 flower is heavy, alive, and full of intention.
Let’s see how far they want to go 🍒🔥

DogDoctorOfficial 🌱 Lemon Cherry Gelato Auto — Week 11 From Seed (Week 7 Flower)
Quick Recap — How We Got Here
From day one, this run followed a simple principle:
let the plant express itself.
12/12 from seed, no forcing, no chasing—just creating a stable environment and letting the plant grow into the light rather than adapting the light to the plant.
Temperatures steady at 26°C, humidity around 60%, CO₂ at ~1000 ppm, and consistent feeding without overcomplication.
No aggressive training, no unnecessary intervention—just guidance, not control.
And now… we’re here.
⸻
🌿 What You’re Seeing Now (And What It Actually Means)
At first glance, it looks like “not much is happening.”
But this is one of the most active internal phases of the plant’s life.
🌸 Bud Development — From Size to Density
The buds are no longer just stacking—they’re hardening.
* Calyxes are swelling
* Structure is tightening
* Weight is increasing
This is the transition from visual growth → mass accumulation
⸻
✨ Trichome Production — The Real Work
This is where the plant shifts focus into resin and terpene production.
* Trichomes are multiplying and becoming more pronounced
* Resin heads are filling
* Aromatics are developing deeper complexity
What people see as “frost” is actually the plant investing in its final defense and reproduction strategy.
⸻
🌱 The Invisible Half — Roots & Balance
You said it perfectly.
Plants live in two worlds:
* Phototropism → growth toward light (above ground)
* Gravitropism (Geotropism) → growth with gravity (roots going down)
What we see above is only possible because below the surface, the roots already did the work.
This stage is the result, not the effort.
⸻
👀 The Grower’s Role Right Now
This is where experience shows.
You’re not “doing nothing.”
You’re doing one of the hardest things:
→ Not interfering when everything is working.
What matters now:
* Daily observation
* Hand watering (keeping that connection with each plant)
* Watching micro-changes
* Maintaining environment stability
Because right now, mistakes don’t come from action…
they come from unnecessary action.
⸻
⚠️ Risk Management — The Silent Battle
Dense flowers + stable humidity = potential risk zone.
So this phase becomes about prevention, not reaction:
* Airflow through the canopy
* Avoiding moisture pockets
* Monitoring for early signs of:
* Mold
* Mildew
* Bud rot
So far—clean run. That’s not luck. That’s attention.
⸻
🌿 Philosophy — “Doing Nothing Is Doing Everything”
This is one of those weeks that teaches patience.
Anyone can feed.
Anyone can adjust lights.
But not everyone can observe without interfering.
This is where growing becomes less about technique…
and more about trust.
⸻
🔮 What To Expect Next (Week 8 Flower)
* Continued bud swelling
* Increased density and weight
* Trichomes becoming more cloudy
* Aromas intensifying
You’ll begin approaching the window where decisions matter:
* When to push
* When to hold
* When to finish
⸻
🤝 Shoutout & Gratitude
From grower to growers:
To everyone following the journey—
the OGs, the new eyes, the silent watchers, the loud supporters, even the skeptics…
To the community on GrowDiaries and beyond.
To the genetics behind this expression.
To the environment that allowed it.
To the process itself.
And to every single person putting time into their craft, whether anyone sees it or not.
⸻
🌱 Final Thought
People celebrate the flower.
But the flower is just the evidence.
The real work…
was always underground.

📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens
All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more.

DogDoctorOfficial 12/12 from seed. Week 12 overall. Week 8 of flower.
And this week, one Lemon Cherry Gelato came down.
Not because the room was finished.
Not because the cycle was over.
Because sometimes the plant tells you one thing… and the jars tell you another.
This wasn’t a full-room harvest.
This was a selective cut — one plant, chosen carefully, taken early enough to keep the room moving and late enough to still deliver exactly what medicine is supposed to deliver.
And honestly?
She earned it.
⸻
🌱 Why This One Came Down Early
The room is still running.
The full harvest is still ahead.
But one Lemon Cherry Gelato had clearly moved ahead of the pack.
Not by weeks.
Not dramatically.
Just enough.
Enough swell.
Enough frost.
Enough weight.
Enough maturity to justify taking one while letting the others continue.
That’s one of the advantages of reading plants individually instead of treating a room like a synchronized machine.
Not every plant finishes on the same day.
Not every expression peaks at the same pace.
And not every harvest has to happen all at once.
This one came down because she was the most advanced of the room — and because the medicine shelf was starting to look a little too honest.
Simple as that.
⸻
Reading Ripeness Properly
This is where harvest decisions stop being about calendars and start being about observation.
By week count alone, she was close.
By structure, she was ready enough.
By resin, she was already speaking clearly.
The trichomes had begun shifting.
Mostly cloudy.
A few still clear.
A visible touch of amber beginning to appear in select heads.
That’s the window.
Not “fully amber.”
Not “wait until everything turns orange.”
Not “harvest because the breeder timeline said so.”
The real harvest window begins when clarity fades, cloudiness dominates, and the first signs of amber begin to appear.
That’s where she was.
Not overripe.
Not unfinished.
Just entering the first edge of peak maturity.
Exactly where many growers prefer to cut for a more balanced effect.
⸻
🔬 Trichomes: What They Are — And What They Are Not
Trichomes are not “frost.”
They are not glitter.
They are not just visual appeal.
And they are not there to make photos look good.
Trichomes are resin glands.
They are the biochemical factories of the flower — producing and storing cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, and the compounds responsible for aroma, potency, and effect.
What we’re watching is not sparkle.
We’re watching chemistry mature.
Clear heads = still developing.
Cloudy heads = peak cannabinoid production.
Amber heads = oxidation and degradation beginning.
That does not mean amber is bad.
It means chemistry is changing.
More clear = less mature.
More cloudy = fuller, louder, more complete.
More amber = heavier, softer, often more narcotic.
This plant had entered that first balanced transition.
Which made her a perfectly reasonable early pull.
⸻
🎨 Pistils, Fade & False Signals
The white hairs had already begun turning.
Fresh white pistils were shrinking back.
Older hairs had darkened into orange and rust.
That matters — but only as supporting evidence.
Pistils help tell the story.
They do not write the conclusion.
Orange hairs alone do not mean harvest.
And white hairs alone do not mean immaturity.
Pistils can oxidize from age.
From touch.
From environment.
From simple exposure.
So yes — orange hairs were there.
Yes — the flower had begun to visually mature.
But pistils confirmed the direction.
Trichomes made the decision.
Color supports.
Resin decides.
⸻
️ The Cut
And she was no lightweight.
Big frame.
Thick branching.
Dense internals.
Heavy tops.
A trunk that did not come down politely.
This was one of those plants you feel immediately when the scissors hit the stem.
Tough wood.
Strong vascular structure.
Real weight in the hands.
The kind of plant that reminds you very quickly that yield starts in structure long before it ends in flower.
By the time she hit the studio, she already looked like what she had become:
A full, heavy, mature plant with serious density, strong resin production, and enough mass to justify taking her early without regret.
⸻
📸 Studio Work & Breakdown
Instead of hanging the full plant intact, we took her to the studio and broke her down properly.
Document first.
Harvest second.
Full plant shots.
Top structure.
Side profile.
Bud architecture.
Stem thickness.
Trichome detail.
Then the cut.
Rather than dry her whole, she was broken down branch by branch and flower by flower, then transferred into the drying rack.
That choice was simple and practical.
A full-plant hang is beautiful.
But a controlled rack dry gives better space efficiency, faster organization, and easier handling when the goal is immediate personal medicine.
So this one was processed clean, sectioned carefully, and laid to dry in the rack inside the drying tent with steady air exchange and indirect circulation.
No air blowing directly on flowers.
No aggressive drying.
No rushing the final stage.
Just controlled moisture loss, clean airflow, and patience.
Now she dries.
⸻
🍋 Lemon Cherry Gelato, Week 12 from Seed
And she delivered.
Dense flowers.
Heavy resin.
Strong structure.
Excellent frost.
Real weight.
Real presence.
Could she have gone another week?
Probably.
Two?
Possibly.
Would she have gained more?
Maybe.
But that does not make this cut wrong.
It makes it intentional.
And intentional harvests are rarely mistakes.
⸻
📘 Quick Recap — How We Got Here
12/12 from seed.
No wasted veg.
No unnecessary recovery.
No overcomplication.
A stable environment.
Consistent feeding.
Strong genetics.
Controlled structure.
Patience where it mattered.
Intervention only when useful.
She got here the same way most good plants do:
Not through force.
Through consistency.
Week by week, she stacked.
Flower by flower, she built.
And by Week 12 from seed, she gave enough to justify the blade.
⸻
⏭️ What Comes Next
This diary continues.
And that matters.
GrowDiaries does not handle staggered harvests especially well, which means this is not marked as “harvest week” yet — because the full run is still active, and the second Lemon Cherry Gelato is still standing.
So the final harvest report comes later.
This is the first cut, not the final chapter.
The second Lemon Cherry Gelato remains in the room and keeps pushing.
She is not ready yet.
She is close.
But not yet.
She’ll get a few more days.
Nutrition will be cut completely next week.
Then we let her finish the story in her own time.
Same week.
Same diary.
Different finish line.
And that’s the reality of growing plants instead of timelines.

DogDoctorOfficial Lemon Cherry Gelato YumYum 🙂 | Week 13
Final stretch, full weight, and still not done
While one Lemon Cherry Gelato is already hanging and drying from last week’s harvest, her sister is still standing — and still stacking.
That alone says a lot about this run.
Same seed pack. Same room. Same schedule. Same treatment.
Yet one finished first, and the other decided she still had more to say.
That’s part of the beauty of running from seed, and part of what keeps these 12/12 from seed runs so interesting from start to finish. Same start, same environment, different expression. One leaned into the early finish. The other kept building.
And now here we are with the second Lemon Cherry Gelato still pushing hard into late flower, still swelling, still changing, and very clearly not in a hurry.
This run has been 12/12 from seed from day one. No veg reset, no transplant games, no long shaping phase — just straight into expression, structure, and flower. Fast, honest, and always a great reminder that a plant does not need extra time to show you what it’s made of.
And this one is showing plenty.
⸻
Week 13 | Still building, still swelling
This week made one thing very clear:
we are in the final stretch, but we are not finished yet.
The plant is deep into late flower now and changing fast.
Not just in size, but in presence.
Buds are denser.
Calyxes are swelling harder.
The room smells thicker.
The air feels heavier.
Colors are starting to shift.
Resin is louder every day.
Everything is becoming more concentrated now.
This is the stage where the plant stops pretending.
No more stretch. No more unnecessary movement. No more wasted energy.
Now it is all weight, density, oils, pressure, and finish.
And she is leaning into all of it.
⸻
Heavy enough to break herself
The most obvious change this week is weight.
Not visual weight.
Real weight.
Branches are bending hard. Some are splitting. Some are collapsing under their own mass. Support is no longer optional here — it is mandatory.
And honestly, that says everything.
This is not airy late flower bulk.
This is real density.
The kind that starts testing branch strength.
The kind that reminds you genetics matter.
The kind that turns “nice structure” into “please hold yourself together one more week.”
The stems on this plant are thick. The branching is strong. The trunk is solid.
And even with that, she is still pushing enough mass to test her own frame.
That tells the story better than I can.
⸻
Feeding less, finishing more
At this point, feeding is simple.
No more pushing. No more chasing numbers. No more trying to force anything extra out of her.
She has already done the work.
Now the goal is simple:
let her finish clean.
At this stage she is only getting water and enzymes (Pure Zym), keeping the root zone active, helping break down what is left, and allowing the plant to use what she already stored.
That’s it.
No heavy feeding. No late flower overcorrection. No panic bottles.
Just clean support, stable inputs, and enough patience not to ruin the last stretch by doing too much.
Late flower is often less about what you add, and more about what you stop interfering with.
⸻
Environment | Warm, stable, and still working
Room temperatures are still a little warmer than ideal, sitting around 26°C during lights on and around 18°C at night.
Would I prefer slightly cooler late flower temps?
Sure.
But the plants are telling their own story, and they are not showing stress worth chasing.
That matters more.
Leaves still look happy.
Uptake is still steady.
Flowers are still swelling.
Resin is still building.
Nothing is stalling. Nothing is fading early. Nothing is asking for emergency corrections.
So while the room is a touch warmer than perfect on paper, the plants are still performing exactly how they should.
And at this stage, healthy performance always matters more than textbook perfection.
⸻
Studio trip included (because of course)
And yes — despite the size, despite the weight, despite how awkward moving late flower plants becomes… she still went to the studio.
Not because it was practical.
Because she earned it.
And honestly, this one deserved proper light.
She is not the tallest plant in the room, but she is dense, broad, heavy, and full enough to make carrying her feel like moving a small tree made of resin.
Worth it.
⸻
What to expect next week
At this point, the answer is simple:
More weight.
More density.
More color.
More resin.
More pressure on branches.
And hopefully clearer signs of the finish line.
What not to expect is a dramatic change in direction.
She is not about to stretch.
She is not about to explode into new shape.
She is not about to surprise anyone with speed.
From here, it is all refinement.
The next week should be about tightening, ripening, swelling, and watching the plant decide when she is actually done.
Not when the calendar says so.
When she says so.
And that is the only timing that matters.
⸻
Final stretch
This one feels special.
Not because she is finished.
Because she is close enough now to make every day count.
The room is changing.
The plant is changing.
The air is changing.
And the finish is starting to feel real.
We are close now.
Not done.
But close enough to respect every extra day.
And as always — thank you to everyone still here.

DogDoctorOfficial Week 14 from seed, and these Lemon Cherry Gelato girls really turned into something special. Not monsters in height, but absolutely massive in presence, density, structure, and expression. The kind of plants that surprise you when you finally grab the branches in your hands and realize how much weight and resin they actually built under a 12/12-from-seed run.
And honestly, I think the “auto behaving like autos under 12/12 from seed” part deserves attention because it shaped the entire personality of this run:
* compact structure
* fast transition
* heavy flower focus
* manageable canopy
* surprisingly thick stems and trunks
* dense golf-ball-to-cola stacking
By the end, the room almost looks autumnal. Deep yellows, oranges, fading greens, and swollen frosty flowers everywhere. That late-flower fade came in fast, but beautifully — and this is important to explain clearly because newer growers often panic when they see this.
This wasn’t a deficiency disaster.
This was the plant reaching the end of its natural cycle.
As flowering progresses, especially late flower, the plant starts mobilizing stored nutrients from the leaves into the flowers. Nitrogen gets depleted first, chlorophyll breaks down, greens disappear, and the underlying pigments begin showing:
* yellows
* golds
* oranges
* reds/purples depending on genetics
And because feeding had already been reduced heavily while the plants kept drinking aggressively, the fade accelerated naturally. The girls were essentially finishing themselves.
You can actually SEE the energy redistribution in the photos:
* leaves fading while buds stay swollen
* pistils maturing
* resin production peaking
* calyxes stacking harder
* stems thickening under weight
And speaking of weight… those broken branches tell the story by themselves. No need to exaggerate anything there. When branches literally split under flower mass, especially in a relatively compact plant, you know the density became real. That stem split photo is beautiful because it captures the moment where biology and gravity start negotiating with each other.
The trunk shots are wild too. Putting the Clipper lighter next to the base was honestly a perfect scale reference. You can immediately understand:
“Okay… these girls drank for a reason.”
And that’s another cool lesson hidden in this run:
sometimes you only fully understand the watering behavior after harvest.
Once the skeleton is exposed, the entire hydraulic system suddenly makes sense.
Now onto harvest and drying.
You made the right call not drying the entire plant whole in this case. These girls were dense. Breaking them into branches gives:
* safer airflow
* more even drying
* lower mold risk
* easier environmental control
Especially with chunky late-flower flowers like these.
The drying target sounds excellent too:
* roughly 18–20°C
* around 60% RH after the initial moisture release
* gentle airflow, never directly blasting flowers
And lowering humidity slightly during the first 24–48h to help the surface moisture escape before stabilizing is a very sensible move with dense material like this.
Now the charas section is honestly one of the most beautiful parts of the update because it connects modern indoor cultivation to something ancient and human.
Just handling fresh branches gave enough live resin to coat the fingers — technically charas, because it comes from fresh living plant material.
That’s different from classic “finger hash” made during dry trimming.
The distinction is subtle but important:
* Charas = resin collected from fresh/live cannabis
* Finger hash = resin collected while handling dried/cured material
And charas has deep cultural and spiritual roots, especially in India and Nepal.
For centuries, people in regions like the Parvati Valley and Himalayan foothills have hand-rubbed living cannabis plants to collect resin. Traditional makers — including sadhus and local hash makers — slowly work the flowers between the palms until thick dark resin accumulates on the skin, later rolled into temple balls or cream charas.
Malana Cream became one of the most famous examples of this style:
* handmade
* live plant resin
* mountain-grown cannabis
* deeply tied to local culture and geography
And yes, Lord Shiva is strongly connected to cannabis traditions in Hindu culture. Chillums, charas, bhang preparations, and ritual use all became intertwined historically with spirituality, celebration, meditation, and ascetic traditions.
The bhang lassi mention is also a nice touch because many people outside India don’t realize cannabis has existed there culturally for centuries in forms beyond smoking alone.
It adds depth to the update without glorifying anything artificially — more like acknowledging the historical relationship humans have had with this plant.
Photography-wise, this report also feels like a visual progression of the entire grow:
* studio shots
* dark cinematic harvest scenes
* fading leaves
* macro structure
* resin-covered fingers
* exposed skeletons
* hanging branches
* trunk closeups
It feels like documentation, not just “bud pics.”
And the skeleton photos genuinely deserve their own moment because growers understand this feeling:
after removing the leaves and flowers, you finally see the architecture that carried the entire run.
Pure timber everywhere.
For the next report, the expectations are honestly exciting:
* drying progress
* trimming session
* terpene evolution after dry
* final bud structure analysis
* smoke report
* resin behavior after cure
* texture and breakdown
* flavor translation from smell to smoke
* ash quality
* effect profile
* maybe final yield impressions without obsessing over numbers
And probably one of the biggest things:
seeing whether the loud terps survive drying properly.
Because right now, these girls ARE LOUD.
And finally, yeah — thank everyone.
The genetics.
The nutrients.
The LEDs.
The environment.
The gear.
The platform.
The old followers.
The silent followers.
The new people arriving now.
The skeptics.
The supporters.
The people learning quietly in the background.
A grow diary becomes more than a plant journal after enough weeks. It turns into a shared timeline people follow together.
And this one honestly feels like a proper season finale before the cure begins.

We’ve got much more coming as we move through the grow cycles. Trust me, you won’t want to miss the next steps, let’s push the boundaries of indoor horticulture together!
As always, this is shared for educational purposes, aiming to spread understanding and appreciation for this plant. Let’s celebrate it responsibly and continue to learn and grow together.
With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine.
💚 Growers love to all 💚
📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens
All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more.

DogDoctorOfficial Week 15 From Seed | Lemon Cherry Gelato 🍋🍒 | Drying, Trimming & Curing Begins
Well…
Here we are again 😄
Another chapter of this Lemon Cherry Gelato run officially closes, and honestly, this update feels like the moment where the entire grow finally becomes “real medicine.”
First of all, once again, apologies for dividing the harvest into multiple reports lately. I know the updates have been stretched across several weeks, but honestly… with the amount of documentation, photos, macros, videos, trimming sessions, resin collection, curing observations, and extraction experiments we have been doing lately, trying to compress everything into a single update would almost feel disrespectful to the process itself.
And this run deserves the proper attention.
So for everyone arriving now, quick recap:
These Lemon Cherry Gelato girls were grown entirely under 12/12 from seed.
No traditional vegetative phase.
No massive training sessions.
No giant bush shaping.
Just letting the genetics express themselves naturally while documenting the process from beginning to end.
And what these girls became honestly surprised me.
Compact plants.
Thick trunks.
Heavy branches.
Dense stacking.
Ridiculous resin production.
And some seriously loud terpene expression.
The previous report reflected harvest itself:
- the fade,
- the structure,
- broken branches,
- resin-covered fingers,
- hanging flowers,
- drying environment,
- and all the beautiful chaos surrounding harvest week.
This report becomes the next important stage:
Drying.
Trimming.
Finger hash.
Final flower preparation.
And the beginning of cure.
The girls dried for roughly 10 days under controlled conditions:
- around 18–20°C,
- roughly 60% RH,
- with the first couple of days slightly lower around 45% to help surface moisture leave the flowers safely before stabilizing the room again.
And honestly… the dry came out beautifully.
Dense flowers like these always make growers slightly nervous during drying because chunky buds can trap moisture surprisingly easily. But breaking the plants into branches instead of hanging full plants ended up being absolutely the right decision here.
The branches slowly reached that perfect moment growers wait for:
not snapping aggressively…
not bending softly…
…but that beautiful little “click.”
That tiny sound telling you:
“Okay. It’s time.”
So naturally…
Mr. Baggy joined the trimming session 😄
Studio lights on.
Trim bin ready.
Scissors ready.
Music playing.
Gloves on.
And branch by branch, these girls slowly transformed into jars full of finished medicine.
And honestly?
These plants were absurdly sticky.
Not just frosty visually.
Actually greasy.
The kind of resin that keeps building layer after layer on the gloves until eventually you stop trimming for a moment and realize you accidentally created little hash sculptures on your fingertips again 😄
Which brings us to one of the best parts of this report:
Finger hash.
Or more specifically in this stage:
classic trimming resin collected during dry manicure.
Every session slowly left behind beautiful sticky resin on the gloves and fingers, and instead of wasting it, everything got collected carefully with patience and love.
And wow…
These girls made AMAZING finger hash.
Soft.
Oily.
Extremely workable.
Instantly greasy with just body heat alone.
No aggressive heat needed.
No real pressure needed.
Just the warmth from the hands was enough to start transforming the resin into beautiful little temple balls almost immediately.
That alone already says a lot about resin quality.
We even documented the full process:
- trim collection,
- kief separation,
- resin handling,
- pressing,
- shaping,
- and the final little temple balls.
And honestly, seeing the transformation from loose resin into a perfectly smooth little sphere never gets old. There’s something deeply satisfying and strangely ancient about it.
The final dry numbers honestly made me extremely happy too:
Plant 1:
304.5 grams dry trimmed flower.
Plant 2:
163.5 grams dry trimmed flower.
Total:
468 grams of dry cured manicured medicine.
And for a 12/12-from-seed run?
That’s honestly fantastic.
Especially considering how compact these plants actually were physically.
Small-ish structure…
massive output.
Exactly the kind of run that keeps teaching you not to judge plants purely by height.
The flowers themselves turned out gorgeous:
- dense,
- compact,
- extremely resinous,
- loud aroma,
- beautiful coloration,
- swollen calyxes,
- and surprisingly heavy for their size.
The terpene profile already started evolving beautifully during trimming too.
That loud fresh-harvest sharpness slowly began softening into something deeper and sweeter:
- creamy citrus,
- candy-like fruit,
- gas,
- soft cherry sweetness,
- earthy backend notes,
- and occasional creamy dessert-like moments depending on the jar.
And this is where curing now becomes incredibly important.
Because harvest is not the finish line.
Curing is where flowers slowly begin becoming complete.
For storage and cure, we decided to use both:
- traditional glass jars,
- and Grove Bags.
And honestly, both have their strengths.
Glass jars remain timeless:
simple,
effective,
reliable,
beautiful for long-term observation and burping routines.
Meanwhile Grove Bags bring modern humidity-control technology into the process and honestly make maintaining stable curing conditions dramatically easier when used properly.
The idea is not “one replacing the other.”
It’s more about understanding different tools and seeing how each behaves over time.
And speaking of beautiful details…
Huge thank you to Zamnesia for the gorgeous storage jars with the engraved lid design because honestly… they look incredible 😄
Little details matter.
Especially during cure.
Because curing becomes ritualistic in a strange way:
opening jars,
checking aromas,
observing moisture,
feeling texture changes,
watching flowers slowly mature week after week.
The medicine almost feels alive during this phase.
We also included:
- trimming timelapses,
- resin handling,
- branch breakdowns,
- finger hash photos,
- hanging flower shots,
- studio trimming moments,
- and a bunch of closeups because honestly these girls deserved proper documentation until the very end.
And next week…
Next week becomes the final chapter.
Smoke review.
Full cure review.
Flavor translation from smell to smoke.
Effect profile.
Breakdown texture.
Ash quality.
Terpene evolution.
Final impressions.
And the real question:
How did this Lemon Cherry Gelato actually become as medicine after all this time?
Because now the grow part is mostly over.
What remains is experience.
And honestly…
that’s the most important part.
Huge thank you once again:
- Zamnesia,
- Plagron,
- the LEDs,
- all the gear involved,
- GrowDiaries,
- the community,
- the old followers,
- the silent supporters,
- the curious new visitors,
- and everyone spending even a few minutes following these updates.
And of course…
Thank you Mr. Baggy 😄💙
He survived another trimming session somehow.
See you all in the final chapter 🌱
Lemon Cherry Gelato — Final Strain Review
Rating:
11/10
Yeah, the system only allows 10.
But honestly… this one goes beyond that for us.
Not because it was “perfect.”
But because it delivered something special in almost every stage of the process.
And that matters more.
This review is not based on breeder descriptions.
Not hype.
Not internet comments.
This is simply our humble opinion after growing her from seed to cured medicine under a full 12/12-from-seed run.
And honestly?
Lemon Cherry Gelato became one of those cultivars that reminds you why you fall in love with this plant in the first place.
Growth & Structure
One of the first surprises was how naturally well-balanced these girls behaved under 12/12 from seed.
Compact plants.
Short internodes.
Strong branching.
Fast flowering response.
Heavy stacking.
No crazy stretching.
No uncontrollable canopy.
No weak floppy structure.
Just dense, productive plants that focused their energy directly into flower production.
And despite staying relatively compact physically…
the weight became VERY real.
By late flower:
- stems thickened heavily,
- branches started leaning,
- flowers hardened dramatically,
- and resin production became honestly ridiculous.
These girls were absolute chunk producers.
Not giant fluffy colas.
Dense.
Heavy.
Golf-ball-to-baseball-sized stacks everywhere.
And the root development explained a lot afterward too.
Beautiful root colonization.
Healthy structure.
Aggressive substrate occupation.
The plants clearly wanted to grow hard from beginning to end.
️ Harvest & Trimming
Trimming this cultivar was honestly enjoyable.
Dense flowers.
Excellent calyx formation.
Very satisfying structure to work with.
And ridiculously resinous.
The scissors stayed sticky constantly.
Gloves became blackened with resin quickly.
Finger hash accumulated almost automatically during handling.
And honestly?
That usually tells you everything you need to know.
Some cultivars look frosty.
Some cultivars FEEL frosty.
This one felt greasy.
Alive.
Rich.
The kind of resin that starts melting from body heat alone.
The little temple balls made during trimming turned soft and workable incredibly fast with almost no effort.
Massive compliment to the resin quality there.
Drying & Curing
The flowers dried beautifully.
10-day dry:
- roughly 18–20°C
- around 60% RH after initial moisture release
- gentle indirect airflow
Exactly the kind of slow controlled environment dense flowers need.
And the cure transformed everything even further.
This is where Lemon Cherry Gelato became genuinely special.
Because the terpene profile evolved HARD during cure.
Fresh:
- sweet,
- loud,
- fruity,
- bright.
Cured:
- deeper,
- creamier,
- warmer,
- more layered,
- more mature.
The final aroma became one of the most unique profiles we’ve personally experienced.
Sweet tropical woods.
Creamy fruit.
Warm resin.
Soft earthy backend.
And this unmistakable pine-nut-like aroma.
Not pine tree.
Pine seeds.
That warm nutty oily sweetness mixed with tropical fruit and wood.
Honestly beautiful.
And the smoke quality?
Extremely smooth.
No throat aggression.
No harsh burn.
No green taste.
Just properly cured medicine.
The kind of flower where inhale and exhale actually match each other.
That’s rarer than people think.
Effects
This is where Lemon Cherry Gelato truly shines.
This is happy medicine.
Not sleepy.
Not couch-lock.
Not overwhelming.
Just beautiful balanced euphoric energy.
Uplifting.
Social.
Creative.
Warm.
Comfortable.
The kind of flower that:
- makes conversations flow,
- makes music feel richer,
- makes food taste better,
- makes beach walks longer,
- and randomly makes people laugh
Perfect daytime-to-evening cultivar.
Excellent for:
- social settings,
- creative work,
- movies,
- gaming,
- nature,
- long talks,
- and honestly just enjoying life.
And despite being uplifting, it never felt chaotic or anxious for us.
Very balanced mentally.
Functional happiness.
That’s probably the best way to describe it.
Resin & Hash Potential
Outstanding.
Seriously outstanding.
Finger hash quality already showed it immediately during trimming.
Greasy.
Sticky.
Soft.
Easy to work.
And honestly we suspect this cultivar would wash extremely well too based purely on resin behavior and gland quality.
Very oily trichome expression.
Very promising extraction cultivar.
Storage & Long-Term Potential
Another thing we loved:
this cultivar keeps evolving positively during cure.
Some strains peak early.
This one keeps opening slowly over time:
- deeper sweetness,
- softer smoke,
- richer aroma,
- more rounded effects.
The jars genuinely became better week after week.
That’s always a huge sign for us.
Final Thoughts
Lemon Cherry Gelato gave us:
- beautiful structure,
- fantastic density,
- excellent resin production,
- smooth smoke,
- unique terpene profile,
- happy uplifting effects,
- and an honestly memorable cultivation experience overall.
One of those cultivars where the entire process stays enjoyable:
from growth…
to trimming…
to curing…
to smoking.
And that’s rare.
Huge respect to the breeders at Zamnesia for this one.
Seriously.
This wasn’t just hype flower.
This was genuinely excellent medicine.
Would we grow her again?

DogDoctorOfficial Week 16 From Seed | Lemon Cherry Gelato 🍋🍒 | Cure, Smoke Report & Closing Chapter
Well…
Here we are.
Final chapter.
And honestly, this one feels strange to write because somewhere along the way this stopped becoming “just another grow” and became one of those runs you genuinely remember afterward.
First of all, as always lately, apologies again for dividing the reports into several parts. But honestly, with the amount of photos, macros, trimming sessions, drying observations, resin collection, curing experiments, root inspections, smoke notes, and documentation collected during this run… there was simply no realistic way to compress everything into one single update without losing important parts of the journey.
And this final report deserves the full respect of the process.
So for everyone arriving only now and jumping directly into the final week, quick recap:
These Lemon Cherry Gelato girls were grown completely under 12/12 from seed.
No long vegetative period.
No giant training sessions.
No extreme manipulation.
Just allowing the genetics to express themselves naturally while documenting the entire process from seed to cure.
And honestly?
These girls delivered beautifully.
Compact structure.
Heavy flower stacking.
Massive density.
Ridiculous resin production.
Loud terpene expression.
Strong roots.
Strong stems.
And some genuinely beautiful medicine in the end.
Across the previous reports we covered:
- growth structure,
- flowering behavior,
- fading,
- harvest,
- drying,
- trimming,
- finger hash,
- temple balls,
- curing setup,
- and storage methods.
This final report becomes the real conclusion:
The cure.
The smoke.
The chemistry.
The experience.
And the final transformation from plant into finished medicine.
And honestly…
This is where cannabis truly becomes complete.
Because harvest is not the finish line.
Drying and curing are not “extra steps.”
They ARE part of cultivation.
And I genuinely think many growers underestimate how much chemistry is still actively happening after harvest.
Fresh flowers are biologically active material.
They are still full of:
- moisture,
- chlorophyll,
- sugars,
- starches,
- enzymes,
- unstable volatile compounds,
- and rapidly changing terpene structures.
Drying removes free moisture slowly enough to preserve structure and prevent mold.
But curing?
Curing is where the flower actually matures.
Where harshness softens.
Where chlorophyll breaks down.
Where terpene profiles settle.
Where moisture equalizes internally.
Where aromas stop smelling “green” and start smelling like the cultivar itself.
Fresh flower smells like plant.
Cured flower smells like genetics.
And honestly…
these girls cured BEAUTIFULLY.
The smoke became incredibly smooth.
Soft on inhale.
Soft on exhale.
Almost creamy sometimes.
No harshness.
No aggressive throat hit.
No weird grassy notes.
Just properly finished medicine.
The terpene profile evolved into something honestly difficult to describe perfectly because it keeps shifting depending on the jar, humidity, breakdown, and even time of day.
But if I had to describe the core experience:
Sweet tropical woods.
Fruits.
Warm resin.
Soft creamy backend.
And this very specific pine-nut-like aroma.
Not pine tree.
Pine seeds.
That soft oily nutty aroma you get when opening pine nuts mixed with tropical sweetness and woody resin.
And honestly?
If someone added pineapple to this profile, I would probably believe I was sitting somewhere in Hawaii or the Bahamas 😄
The aroma genuinely feels warm-weather tropical.
Bright.
Happy.
Comfortable.
And the effects follow that same direction perfectly.
This is NOT sleepy medicine.
Not couch-lock.
Not knockout smoke.
This is uplifting medicine.
Euphoric.
Social.
Creative.
Functional.
Happy.
The kind of flower that makes conversations easier.
Music sound better.
Nature feel more alive.
Walks become longer.
And random laughing suddenly happens for no reason 😄
Beautiful daytime or social medicine.
Perfect for:
- beach walks,
- dinners with friends,
- creative sessions,
- gaming,
- movies,
- long conversations,
- music,
- and honestly just enjoying life a little slower.
But definitely not the best choice if your goal is immediate sleep 😄
This one keeps the brain alive.
Now let’s talk curing and storage properly because this became a huge part of the experiment too.
We cured using both:
- traditional glass jars,
- and Grove Bags.
And honestly, both systems worked beautifully when used correctly.
Glass jars remain timeless for a reason:
- reliable,
- reusable,
- visually satisfying,
- easy for long-term inspection,
- and perfect for manual burping routines.
Meanwhile Grove Bags genuinely simplify moisture management dramatically by helping stabilize internal humidity exchange automatically when flowers are dried properly beforehand.
And this is important:
No storage system fixes bad drying.
Curing starts during dry.
That’s why environment matters so much:
- stable temperature,
- gentle airflow,
- humidity control,
- patience,
- and avoiding overdrying early.
Because once flowers overdry aggressively, you cannot truly reverse that damage completely.
And yes…
we went deep into the chemistry too 😄
Because the transformation happening during cure is honestly fascinating:
- chlorophyll degrading,
- harsh compounds softening,
- volatile terpenes stabilizing,
- cannabinoids slowly evolving,
- oxidation pathways beginning,
- moisture redistributing through the flower itself.
Even THC slowly evolves over time depending on oxygen, heat, UV exposure, and storage conditions.
Everything is chemistry.
Everything keeps moving.
And good curing is essentially controlled aging.
Not old weed.
Finished weed.
That difference matters.
The roots deserve a huge mention too because once the root balls finally came out after harvest, the entire watering behavior suddenly made complete sense.
Beautiful root development.
Healthy structure.
Excellent substrate colonization.
And honestly?
You can usually understand the story of the plant better after harvest than during growth itself sometimes.
The roots explain everything:
- feeding behavior,
- drinking behavior,
- vigor,
- recovery,
- structure,
- and overall plant energy.
Massive respect to these girls.
We also fully cleaned and reset the room afterward because post-harvest cleaning matters enormously too:
- fans disassembled,
- dust removed,
- oils checked,
- equipment cleaned,
- surfaces sanitized,
- UVC treatment,
- airflow reset,
- and the environment prepared for the next chapter.
A clean room is part of prevention.
And prevention is always easier than solving problems later.
The finger hash and temple balls turned out beautiful too.
Soft.
Greasy.
Easy to work.
Extremely aromatic.
The kind of resin that almost melts itself with body heat alone.
And honestly, the photos documenting the curing stages of the resin are some of my favorite images from this entire series because you can literally SEE the transformation happening:
- oxidation,
- terpene movement,
- grease development,
- crystal structure changes,
- texture evolution,
- and the beginning of long-term curing.
Living chemistry.
And that’s probably the best way to describe this entire run honestly:
Living chemistry.
From seed…
to roots…
to flowers…
to resin…
to cure…
to smoke.
Everything connected.
Final dry numbers also made me extremely happy:
Plant 1:
304.5 grams dry trimmed flower.
Plant 2:
163.5 grams dry trimmed flower.
Final total:
468 grams dry manicured cured flower.
And for a 12/12-from-seed run?
Absolutely fantastic.
Especially considering the compact size these plants actually occupied physically.
Small footprint.
Big output.
Beautiful quality.
Exactly the kind of run that teaches you not to underestimate genetics.
And finally…
Thank you.
To Zamnesia for the genetics.
To Plagron.
To the LEDs.
The gear.
The jars.
The environment.
The tools.
The platform.
The community.
To the old followers.
The new people arriving now.
The silent supporters.
The lurkers.
The growers learning quietly in the background.
The skeptics.
The lovers.
Even the haters 😄
If somebody spent even a few moments following this journey, then they became part of it too.
And of course…
Thank you Mr. Baggy 💙😄
Still surviving somehow after another full season.
This chapter closes here.
But honestly…
the cure keeps evolving.
The hash keeps aging.
The jars keep changing.
And the medicine will probably keep surprising us for months.
So maybe…
this is not really the end after all 🌱

All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more.
Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture.
