Hempcules WEEK 1 I’m starting this run with a Jelly Donutz Automatic from Humboldt Seed Company. It was a free surprise seed I got from my local grow shop, and since I’ve read so much about Humboldt, it’s joining the lineup this time. The strain looks really interesting—especially because Humboldt holds the original Runtz genetics. I’m genuinely excited to see what comes out of this one I germinated the seed between damp paper towels, and after just 1.5 days it had cracked open and the first little root was visible. I then placed the seed straight into its 9L final pot filled with Plagron Lightmix.

Hempcules WEEK 4 This week went very well again. Toward the end of the week, I topped her so that 10 side shoots remain. Other than that, I haven’t planned any training and I’m hoping for a nicely compact, bushy plant. She’s growing healthy and strong, with no issues at all. Hempcules WEEK 5 Things are going well with my Jelly Donutz. Ever since topping her, she’s been growing very compact and bushy. She’s perfectly healthy, though she could be growing a bit faster. I suspect she’s not a big fan of the lower temperatures — it’s been getting a bit chilly in the tent at night lately. Still, I’m very happy with her overall and looking forward to the coming weeks. No signs of flowering yet. PPFD: 450µmol/m²/s Water: 1x plain water, 1x nutrient solution

Hempcules WEEK 6 My Jelly Donutz did quite well this week. After topping, she’s growing extremely bushy and compact. Toward the end of the week she also developed her first pistils. Now she should slowly start putting on some height as well. Other than that, she’s very healthy and has developed a really strong structure. I’m excited to see what she’ll bring to the table now that she’s entering bloom. PPFD: 550µmol/m²/s Water: 1x plain water, 1x nutrient solution

Hempcules WEEK 7 My Jelly Donutz had a fairly decent week. I think I fed her a bit too early, and I also get the feeling she’s not particularly fond of the low temperatures. She’s started flowering slowly and hasn’t gained much height yet. I flushed her lightly with water and am now trying to raise the temperatures a bit. Other than that, everything is fine—she has an extremely strong stem and is insanely bushy. I just wish she’d stretch a little more vertically. Hempcules WEEK 8 My Jelly Donutz probably won’t get very big — she seems to be skipping the stretch almost entirely so far. I did a bit of defoliation since she was getting too dense, and I topped up the pot with some fresh soil. The plant has a massive stem, which suggests she’s not doing too badly overall. I’m hoping she still opens up a bit; otherwise, she’s going to turn into a bud ball. 😅 PPFD: 750µmol/m²/s Water: 1x plain water, 1x nutrient solution

I defoliated the lower part of the plant again because there’s quite limited space in my tent. It was an awesome grow with this Jelly Donutz Automatic from Humboldt. She took a bit longer than some others, but in return she developed what I think is a really special terpene profile. On top of that, I find her very easy to grow. During the winter months I definitely didn’t have ideal temperatures for this run, yet she still produced a solid result with high quality. What more could you ask for. Her growth structure was very compact, which meant quite a bit of defoliation was necessary. The limited space of 30×30 cm wasn’t exactly ideal, but the plant adapted perfectly to it. My conclusion for my first grow with Humboldt Seeds is genuinely positive. I think I’ll be trying more of their genetics.

Just finished my run of Jelly Donutz auto and your pheno looks a lot like mine. Definitely can recommend heavy defoliation every 5-6 days. I did some scroging and lst. Shes a late bloomer, but gaining mass and height fast - ended up running for 89 days in a 12l fabric pot, height at finish was about 100cm

I’m hoping it still kicks in, but I think you’re right — she seems to be flowering a bit slowly. I’m definitely curious to see what she does over the next few weeks.
