My first ever indoor grow, fingers crossed I'll do well. I'm feeling very confident though, hopefully I'll pull through!
* update - I have a light dimmer with my es300 and since earlier on today I lowered my light to roughly 23” from the seedlings and dimmed it to just under half way from full. I realised I didn’t need the full 300W just yet so hopefully this will be fine, please let me know if there’s anyway I can improve what I’m doing! Thanks!
So this week I’ve been experimenting the the light to plant distance. They’re responding well to where it is now though so I’ll leave it where it is now and I’ll increase the power of the light to all the way over the course of a few weeks. The light is currently running at about 55%. I’m going to be feeding them today with some root juice.
hi all, sorry this post is late, been busy. So here they’re doing fine, they’ve got these white specks in the leaves so if anyone could help me with that it would be appreciated. Not much else to say. I’ve got the light 3/4 up on the intensity too.
So I’ve had really good growth this week. I’ve got the light intensity up all the way now and the light at the correct height. I’ve started LST on three of them and topped two of them as an experiment as well as upping their feed so the results should be interesting. I’m going to try my hardest on getting another light in there within a week or two to get to 600 true watts which is supposedly the equivalent of a 1000W hps according to the website.
** update, I have adjusted my light timer, adding an extra 4 hours in total of light everyday. They are now receiving 20 hours of light and 4 hours of darkness. Hopefully this will get them a bit bigger, a bit faster!
So they have started smelling nice now, no hints of bubblegum yet but it’s early days still. I gave them a heavy feed yesterday so I’ll probably just flush them next feed and then continue with 1/2 or 3/4 strength on the Nutes. They’re all looking great apart from one, I did have two runts but one has grown quite well as well as looking very healthy.
So this week they’ve really started to stretch. I’m moving the light up almost everyday now as two of them are growing up more than out. I have another 300w LED arriving soon so that should bulk them up a bit more. Having problems with the humidity however I’ve bought a dehumidifier which arrives soon too, I do have one in there but it’s not doing much at the moment.
Just been flushing this week along with the 2.2ml of terpinator. I’ve had a few leaves turn and die. Will post some pictures, if anyone could give me some hints that would be great. For a heads up I have had some gnats in the tent which I’m Currently dealing with so it could be related to that.
This week hasn’t been great, had some major deficiencies going on but I think I’ve got it under control. NOTE TO SELF - ph levels are important!! Got some nice smells coming through now. I’m hoping the buds will swell a bit more. They’re supposedly meant to be finished from the 5th to the 9th but I think they’ll take a bit longer.
They’re looking great and smelling great. 1 of the plants is ill as hell and not in a good way. I don’t think the yield will be amazing but it’s my first grow so quality over quantity for now I think. Will start flushing tonight for a week probably and then I’ll harvest
Still flushing! I think I’ll be chopping all but 1 in 2 or 3 days now. The stems are starting to lean now too which is good. Can’t wait to find out the weights of it all.
Okay so I haven’t dried yet but all is now harvested. Will come back with weights and pictures
********UPDATE********
These girls were fun to grow for a first try. They did suffer a few deficiencies but that’s down to me, however the genetics weren’t all that stable as I had one I finished outside as it had developed a nitrogen toxicity somehow and never quite recovered and another one had an extreme cal/mag deficiency and stunted very early on. I’d definitely try this strain again but not right now however I’d be up for growing some of the breeders other strains too.
For my first indoor grow I had a pretty good experience. With the constant battle with heat and humidity I finally got there. Buds aren’t overly dense however there are a few nice ones in there. Plenty of crystals on the bud and trim too so I’ll have plenty of hash to get back from it. Looking forward to my next grow which is already going. Will update at a later time after it’s all cured.
*******UPDATE*******
Right so everything is dry, cured and weighed. I averaged 2.2 ounces per plant of dense frosty nugs. The look of them is very inviting. The smell is overwhelmingly like diesel and citrus fruits. The smoke is amazingly smooth in my opinion, it’s been curing for a few weeks now so that’s probably why. I’ve also made some hash out of it with my buddy wolfking. Overall I think I could get even better results out of this strain if I did it again so I might revisit one day.
Hope they all come up happy like the first one.

Nice.. glad you had a relax. Now back to work.
My setup is very basic. But works for me.
And as I just make shacks in my low loft, I can adapt equipment. I have just put together my vegging shack. So in a few weeks time when plants in flower shack are few weeks from end, then I can have others getting vegged. I wont run.out of meds then.

Alright mate, fellow South UK grower here, with hard water 350ppm, think im having some issues with dying leaves like you have.
im using Biobizz soil and nutes.
My water is high in calcium 260mg/l but low in Magnesium 2mg/l
Did you ever get the problem sorted? if so what was it?

@bobcharlieeeee, hi mate, I’ve since got 2 large water butts and now use rain water. I’ve also changed my nutrients to dry amendments, by living soils. Hope this helps 👍
