CheeRz It is week 4 of flowering, and both plants are now receiving 1.5 ml/L of Calmag. I suspect this was due to the cold temperatures falling below 19°C during the dark phase, which prevented the Calmag from being transported properly. However, since the outdoor temperatures are currently rising to around 12 °C at night and 20 °C in the tent when the lamp is off, this should solve the Calmag problem.

CheeRz WEEK 10 - FLOWERING: Tropical Maturation
🌼 FLOWERING PROGRESS
We are now in the 10th week (6th week of flowering), and the Papayton is showing impressive development. The buds are visibly gaining weight and density every day. The resin production is in full swing, covering the flowers in a thick, sticky layer of crystals. It’s great to see how the plant is putting all its energy into the final flower formation. ❄️
👃 TERPENES & AROMA
The tropical scent is becoming much more defined this week. There is a strong, sweet papaya aroma that dominates the tent, perfectly complemented by a creamy finish. The Top-Max is clearly doing its job in bringing out these exotic fruit notes as the plant matures. 🍦
💧 NUTRIENT FEEDING & WATERING
The feeding schedule remains at a high level to provide all the necessary building blocks for the final ripening process. The focus is on maximizing terpene development and resin output.
Current Feeding Schedule:
Calmag: 1.5 ml/l
Acti-Vera: 5 ml/l
Bio-Heaven: 5 ml/l
Bio-Bloom: 4 ml/l
Top-Max: 5 ml/l
Bio-Grow: 1 ml/l

🌼 FLOWERING PROGRESS
Entering Week 8 of flower, the Papayton shows significant trichome coverage. Environmental parameters are kept at a VPD of 1.71 kPa. The buds are well-developed and are beginning to display light purple shades. The plant is showing a natural progression into the late flowering stage.
👃 TERPENES & AROMA
The aroma is a combination of sweet papaya and creamy, gelato like notes. The scent is balanced and complex.
💧 NUTRIENT FEEDING & WATERING
Feeding remains at 1.67L according to the BioBizz schedule. Two more feedings are scheduled for this week before moving into the final ripening phase.
Current Feeding Schedule:
Calmag: 0.5 ml/l
Acti-Vera: 5 ml/l
Bio-Heaven: 5 ml/l
Bio-Bloom: 4 ml/l
Top-Max: 5 ml/l

CheeRz WEEK 13 - FLOWERING: The Final Ripening Phase Begins
🌼 FLOWERING PROGRESS
Entering Week 9 of flower, the Papayton has reached its peak development. As of Sunday evening, the trichome coverage is astounding, layering the buds in a frosted coat that hints at the genetic's potency. We are observing the full spectrum of colors, with the early light purple shades deepening into rich, dark hues. Most of the pistils have now darkened and withdrawn, signaling that the swelling phase is nearly complete. We have officially shifted focus to the ripening stage.
🌡️ ENVIRONMENT & VPD
Environmental conditions are being monitored closely with a digital hygrometer. Average temperatures are around 24.6°C with humidity dropping to 41%, resulting in a high VPD of 1.8 kPa. This dry climate in the final stage is perfect for maximizing resin production and ensuring rock-hard, mold-free buds.
👃 TERPENES & AROMA
The scent is incredible this week. It is characterized by a super sweet and fruity core, clearly carrying that signature creamy Gelato touch. The profile is rounded off by a subtle, sour undertone in the finish that balances the heavy sweetness perfectly. It’s a very complex and pungent aroma that has intensified significantly as the plant ripens.
💧 NUTRIENT FEEDING & WATERING
We have reached a turning point in the feeding schedule. The very last nutrient application was administered on March 30th, where Bio-Grow was already completely excluded from the mix to begin the nitrogen reduction. Since April 2nd, I have officially started the flushing process with pH-regulated water. The goal for the remaining time is to let the plant consume its stored nutrients, forcing a beautiful final fade and ensuring the cleanest possible end product.
Current Status:
Last Feed: 30.03.26 (Full Scheme, 0ml Bio-Grow)
Flushing Start: 02.04.26
Watering: pH-regulated plain water
💭 GROWER’S NOTE
Week 13 in the diary. The transition to pure ripening has begun. Environmental parameters remain dialed in. The strong, stable terpene profile and the stunning purples we are seeing confirm that this Papayton is living up to its high-potency reputation. The plant looks phenomenal and the flushing phase is now in full swing.
GROW EXPERIENCE
I am beyond impressed with how easy this strain was to grow. Despite its XXXL potential and photoperiod nature, the Papayton was incredibly resilient and "forgiving" throughout the entire cycle. It responded perfectly to my training and the BioBizz feeding schedule without any signs of stress. It’s a robust grower that seems to thrive on its own once the environment is dialed in. Truly a pleasure for any grower looking for top-tier results without constant troubleshooting.
APPEARANCE & COLORS
The visual appeal is simply top-notch. As we hit the final weeks, the plant transformed into a masterpiece of deep purples and near-black hues, contrasting beautifully with the thick, silver coating of resin. The bag appeal is already 10/10 before even hitting the jars.
AROMA & TERPENES
The scent is out of this world. It’s a heavy, loud profile that hits you immediately with a super sweet, tropical papaya core, followed by that unmistakable creamy Gelato funk. That subtle sour twist in the background makes it very complex and addictive. It’s easily one of the best-smelling strains I’ve had in the tent lately.
BUD STRUCTURE & DENSITY
The "firmness" of these flowers is outstanding. The buds are rock-hard and incredibly dense, showing a very high calyx-to-leaf ratio. They feel heavy and solid in the hand, which is a testament to the genetic quality and the controlled VPD management during the ripening phase.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Fast Buds really delivered a winner here. From the ease of growth to the exquisite colors and premium bud density, the Papayton is a must-grow. I can’t wait to see how these terps develop during the slow dry and cure!

CheeRz WEEK 14 - FLOWERING: The Papayton Journey Concludes with Harvest
🌼 FLOWERING PROGRESS
Entering Week 10 of flower (Friday, 10.04.26), the Papayton has reached its final destination. As of today, the maturity check is complete, with trichomes showing an perfect balance of predominantly cloudy heads with emerging amber. Most pistils have fully darkened and receded, indicating the swelling and ripening phases are finished. The visual appeal has reached its zenith, showcasing deep, dark purples and near-black hues, all heavily coated in a thick, frosted layer of resin. The plant looks ready to give everything it has.
🌬️ ENVIRONMENTAL VDP CONTROL
Throughout this final week, environmental control was a primary focus. To avoid any late-stage issues, temperatures were strictly maintained with day peaks around 22.8°C and nighttime lows of 16.2°C, which greatly enhanced the final purple-to-black color transition. Relative Humidity (RH) was kept extremely low and stable between 34% and 53%. These dry conditions, generating a high VPD of 1.8 kPa, helped push the final trichome production while ensuring a clean, mold-free environment for the dense buds.
👃 TERPENES & AROMA
The aroma profile has become exceptionally pronounced and heavy this week. The initial sweet papaya and creamy notes remain dominant, but they are now underpinned by a distinct, sharp citrus tang, creating a complex 'fruit sorbet' profile. The scent is very pungent and fills the room with a rich, balanced blend of tropical and dough-like aromas.
💧 NUTRIENT FEEDING & WATERING
This was a purely administrative week for watering. We had already concluded all nutrient applications previously. Since the end of last week, the plant has only received 1.7L of pH-regulated plain water, allowing it to fully consume its remaining stored nutrients. This forced a perfect final fade, enhancing flavor purity and ensuring the cleanest possible final product. The flushing phase is now complete.
Current Status:
Flushing Complete: 10.04.26
Watering: pH-regulated plain water
💭 GROWER’S NOTE
Week 14 in the diary and the journey with this Papayton is complete. We have officially HARVESTED today! The plant has truly shown its potential, displaying robust growth, stunning colors, and an undeniable potency that lives up to its XXXL and high-potency reputation. The results are phenomenal and the structure is ideal for the final drying phase. The strong, stable terpene profile and the stunning purples we are seeing confirm that this strain is a winner. Now, we enter the final act: the drying process.
