SpliffyRand Day 0 - Germination After trying out Mephisto in the last run, their genetics already got me hooked. Out of the three different strains I grew, I liked 505 Headbanger the most. Good yield, good effect and a beautiful lime green appearance. This round is going to be hands off again, following more or less the same strategy as before. Things I changed: -First time using Plagron instead of BioBizz soil -3 plants instead of 4 -Only one strain - 505 Headbanger -Using Mycotrex and Bactrex when germinating -Starting germinating with Farmer Hat Beards mud pie method

SpliffyRand Day 8 – Second pair of leaves After a few days, I removed the humidity domes and transitioned into a light, regular watering schedule. The seedlings are currently receiving approximately 330 ml of fresh water every two to three days, supplemented with 1 ml/L BioBizz BioGrow and 0.15 g/L Epsom salt. In addition, two BioTabs per pot have already been applied so I dont run into deficiencies again. On day 8, the SANlight EVO was increased to 30 % output, which corresponds to approximately 18 DLI in my setup, calculated by using SANlights documentation and tests (https://www.sanlight.com/news/par-test-und-ppfd-plots-der-sanlight-evo-serie/) Quick Stats: -Day 8 / 84 -SANlight EVO 3-80 @ 30 %, 40 cm distance -Temperature: 23.3 °C -Relative Humidity: 35 % -VPD: ~1.9 kPa -DLI: ~18 ####################LED settings#################### Days 1-7 | Seedling 20 % → ~190 µmol/m²/s → ~12.3 DLI Low-stress establishment 👉Days 8-14 | Establishment 30 % → ~280 µmol/m²/s → ~18.1 DLI Early vegetative growth Days 15-24 | Early Vegetative 40 % → ~375 µmol/m²/s → ~24.3 DLI Active biomass build-up Days 25-34 | Late Vegetative 50 % → ~470 µmol/m²/s → ~30.4 DLI Pre-flower development Days 35-42 | Stretch 60 % → ~565 µmol/m²/s → ~36.6 DLI Controlled stretch phase Days 43-70 | Main Flower 70 % → ~660 µmol/m²/s → ~42.8 DLI Peak production phase Days 71-77 | Ripening 65 % → ~610 µmol/m²/s → ~39.6 DLI Maturation and resin development Days 78-84 | Finish 55 % → ~515 µmol/m²/s → ~33.4 DLI Fade-out / reduced metabolic demand

SpliffyRand Day 15 - Seedling Stage Finished Today, on day 15, I’m happy to see the plants thriving. The only thing I don’t particularly like right now is the dry environment. The VPD is far from optimal at this stage, but since I’m not using a humidifier, there’s nothing I can do about it for now. Nevertheless, the plants look vital and are continuing to grow. Compared to last week, growth is good, and when comparing to my previous grow, this strain behaves more or less the same this round. I’m happy, the plants are happy, so I’ll just let them do their thing for now. The only change today was increasing the light distance to 40 cm and raising the SANlight output to 40 %, which corresponds to approximately 24.3 DLI in my setup. The pots are still very heavy, so I won’t water them for a few days. Once they start drinking more, I will gradually increase the amount of water applied per irrigation. My goal is to reach about 1 liter per day by day 30, at which point I can install the Blumat drip system. Quick Stats: -Day 15 / 84 -SANlight EVO 3-80 @ 40 %, 40 cm distance -Temperature: 26.1 °C -Relative Humidity: 31 % -VPD: 2.33 kPa -DLI: ~24.3 ####################LED settings#################### Days 1-7 | Seedling 20 % → ~190 µmol/m²/s → ~12.3 DLI Low-stress establishment Days 8-14 | Establishment 30 % → ~280 µmol/m²/s → ~18.1 DLI Early vegetative growth 👉Days 15-24 | Early Vegetative 40 % → ~375 µmol/m²/s → ~24.3 DLI Active biomass build-up Days 25-34 | Late Vegetative 50 % → ~470 µmol/m²/s → ~30.4 DLI Pre-flower development Days 35-42 | Stretch 60 % → ~565 µmol/m²/s → ~36.6 DLI Controlled stretch phase Days 43-70 | Main Flower 70 % → ~660 µmol/m²/s → ~42.8 DLI Peak production phase Days 71-77 | Ripening 65 % → ~610 µmol/m²/s → ~39.6 DLI Maturation and resin development Days 78-84 | Finish 55 % → ~515 µmol/m²/s → ~33.4 DLI Fade-out / reduced metabolic demand

SpliffyRand Day 22 - Early Vegetation Finished This week was all about stabilization. From now on, the plants are completely stable and should really start boosting their growth. When comparing them, they look very uniform overall. They are getting thirstier every day and can already drink about half a liter per plant daily. It’s time to increase the supply, so the next step will be raising the amount to 750 ml per watering. As soon as they can consume this volume within two days, I will increase it to 1 liter. After that, it will be time to install the Blumat carrots. I also need to order some beneficial mites soon, just as a preventative measure. What I’ve especially noticed this week is the beautiful green leaf color. The plants are neither too dark nor too bright, which confirms that adding two BioTabs in week 2 was the right decision. I originally planned to add another BioTab on day 21. I’m not fully sure yet if I should do that right now but we’ll see how they continue to develop. Next steps: Increase water supply Install Blumat system Possibly add another BioTab Quick Stats: Day 22 / 84 SANlight EVO 3-80 @ 40 %, 40 cm distance Temperature: 25.4 °C Relative Humidity: 41 % VPD: ~1.9 kPa DLI: ~24.3 mol/m²/day ####################LED settings#################### Days 1-7 | Seedling 20 % → ~190 µmol/m²/s → ~12.3 DLI Low-stress establishment Days 8-14 | Establishment 30 % → ~280 µmol/m²/s → ~18.1 DLI Early vegetative growth 👉Days 15-24 | Early Vegetative 40 % → ~375 µmol/m²/s → ~24.3 DLI Active biomass build-up Days 25-34 | Late Vegetative 50 % → ~470 µmol/m²/s → ~30.4 DLI Pre-flower development Days 35-42 | Stretch 60 % → ~565 µmol/m²/s → ~36.6 DLI Controlled stretch phase Days 43-70 | Main Flower 70 % → ~660 µmol/m²/s → ~42.8 DLI Peak production phase Days 71-77 | Ripening 65 % → ~610 µmol/m²/s → ~39.6 DLI Maturation and resin development Days 78-84 | Finish 55 % → ~515 µmol/m²/s → ~33.4 DLI Fade-out / reduced metabolic demand

SpliffyRand Day 29 - Full Stretch / Hands Off Today, on day 29, I installed the Blumat carrots and activated the drip irrigation system. Over the past week, I watered the plants twice manually. First with 750 ml per plant, followed by a full 1 liter per plant two days later. Since this point was planned as the transition to automated irrigation, it was the perfect moment to start the dripping system. From now on, everything is mainly about monitoring. The only remaining manual tasks are adjusting the LED height and intensity from time to time and regularly inspecting overall plant health. As I also applied predatory mites prophylactically this week and the BioTabs appear to be providing sufficient nutrition, there is very little left to intervene with. At this point, the grow has essentially entered cruise control, with harvest expected in roughly 55 days. Another adjustment this week was increasing the light intensity from 40 % to 50 %. The only aspect I am not entirely happy with is the VPD. The environment has been quite dry over the last weeks, which resulted in a more compact growth pattern. However, I don’t want to stress about this too much. The stretch phase has only just started, and when comparing this run to the last time I grew this strain, the plants are performing very well overall. Let’s see how they develop over the next week. Next steps: Possibly add another BioTab Raising the LED to 60% Quick Stats: Day 29 / 84 SANlight EVO 3-80 @ 50 %, 40 cm distance Temperature: 25.0 °C Relative Humidity: 41 % VPD: ~1.87 kPa DLI: ~30.5 mol/m²/day ####################LED settings#################### Days 1-7 | Seedling 20 % → ~190 µmol/m²/s → ~12.3 DLI Low-stress establishment Days 8-14 | Establishment 30 % → ~280 µmol/m²/s → ~18.1 DLI Early vegetative growth Days 15-24 | Early Vegetative 40 % → ~375 µmol/m²/s → ~24.3 DLI Active biomass build-up 👉Days 25-34 | Late Vegetative 50 % → ~470 µmol/m²/s → ~30.4 DLI Pre-flower development Days 35-42 | Stretch 60 % → ~565 µmol/m²/s → ~36.6 DLI Controlled stretch phase Days 43-70 | Main Flower 70 % → ~660 µmol/m²/s → ~42.8 DLI Peak production phase Days 71-77 | Ripening 65 % → ~610 µmol/m²/s → ~39.6 DLI Maturation and resin development Days 78-84 | Finish 55 % → ~515 µmol/m²/s → ~33.4 DLI Fade-out / reduced metabolic demand

SpliffyRand Day 36 - Final Stretch This week the plants really pushed their growth, stretching about 20 cm within just one week. Besides monitoring their height and adjusting the LED distance to the canopy, as well as increasing the light intensity from 50 % to 60 %, there was nothing else to do except refilling the reservoir from time to time. No pH adjustment, no liquid fertilizer. Just plain tap water mixed with 0.15 g of Epsom salt per liter. The plants seem to respond extremely well to this approach, as they show no signs of deficiency at all. I’m very happy with how smoothly this run has been progressing so far. For now, I won’t change a thing and will continue with monitoring only. We have officially reached the final stage of the stretch phase. Once the remaining stretch finishes within the next week, the focus will shift entirely toward bud development and stacking. Next steps: Raising the LED to 70% Quick Stats: Day 36 / 84 SANlight EVO 3-80 @ 60 %, 40 cm distance Temperature: 23.6 °C Relative Humidity: 43 % VPD: ~1.6 kPa DLI: ~36.6 mol/m²/day ####################LED settings#################### Days 1-7 | Seedling 20 % → ~190 µmol/m²/s → ~12.3 DLI Low-stress establishment Days 8-14 | Establishment 30 % → ~280 µmol/m²/s → ~18.1 DLI Early vegetative growth Days 15-24 | Early Vegetative 40 % → ~375 µmol/m²/s → ~24.3 DLI Active biomass build-up Days 25-34 | Late Vegetative 50 % → ~470 µmol/m²/s → ~30.4 DLI Pre-flower development 👉Days 35-42 | Stretch 60 % → ~565 µmol/m²/s → ~36.6 DLI Controlled stretch phase Days 43-70 | Main Flower 70 % → ~660 µmol/m²/s → ~42.8 DLI Peak production phase Days 71-77 | Ripening 65 % → ~610 µmol/m²/s → ~39.6 DLI Maturation and resin development Days 78-84 | Finish 55 % → ~515 µmol/m²/s → ~33.4 DLI Fade-out / reduced metabolic demand

SpliffyRand Day 43 - Full Bloom The plants gained a little more height this week, but it looks like they are now transitioning fully into the bloom phase. The tallest plant, plant #3, stretched another 14 cm, while the other two have already shifted their focus more toward bud development and stayed slightly shorter. Because of this height difference, I had to tilt the LED slightly to keep the canopy evenly lit. Interestingly, I notice this pattern almost every grow: The tallest plants tend to be in the back right of the tent, while the smaller ones usually end up in the front. Besides monitoring and adjusting the LED height and tilt, I reorganized the plants slightly by spacing the two larger ones a bit further apart to improve overall light penetration. If the stretch really comes to an end now, this will likely be the final rearrangement. Since I can’t see any signs of deficiency, I will continue letting the system run as it is. No adjustments needed. The coming week will once again be all about monitoring. It really feels like I have found my personal “hands-off recipe” this run. Adding the BioTabs earlier, supplementing Epsom salt, and using predatory mites made a noticeable difference. That said, there are still around 4 or 5 weeks to go. Next steps: Continue monitoring only Quick Stats: Day 43 / 84 SANlight EVO 3-80 @ 70 %, 40 cm distance, 6 % tilt Temperature: 24.0 °C Relative Humidity: 48 % VPD: ~1.5 kPa DLI: ~42.8 mol/m²/day ####################LED settings#################### Days 1-7 | Seedling 20 % → ~190 µmol/m²/s → ~12.3 DLI Low-stress establishment Days 8-14 | Establishment 30 % → ~280 µmol/m²/s → ~18.1 DLI Early vegetative growth Days 15-24 | Early Vegetative 40 % → ~375 µmol/m²/s → ~24.3 DLI Active biomass build-up Days 25-34 | Late Vegetative 50 % → ~470 µmol/m²/s → ~30.4 DLI Pre-flower development Days 35-42 | Stretch 60 % → ~565 µmol/m²/s → ~36.6 DLI Controlled stretch phase 👉Days 43-70 | Main Flower 70 % → ~660 µmol/m²/s → ~42.8 DLI Peak production phase Days 71-77 | Ripening 65 % → ~610 µmol/m²/s → ~39.6 DLI Maturation and resin development Days 78-84 | Finish 55 % → ~515 µmol/m²/s → ~33.4 DLI Fade-out / reduced metabolic demand

SpliffyRand Day 50 - Main Flower The stretch came to an end this week. The tallest plant grew another 3 cm, which should mark the final height for this run. Plant #3 reached 69 cm in total. According to Mephisto’s strain description, 505 Headbanger typically reaches 85–110 cm, so considering the relatively dry environment during early growth, this result makes sense. Apart from that, this week was entirely about monitoring. One thing I noticed is a slight lightening of leaf color whenever I increase LED intensity. After raising the light from 60 % to 70 %, plant #1 showed a lighter green tone about two days later. After looking into it, this appears to be a normal response to higher photosynthetic activity rather than a true deficiency. Since the goal is to keep the plants operating at peak performance, this is exactly what I want to see. No adjustments needed at this point. Next steps: Continue monitoring only Quick Stats: Day 50 / 84 SANlight EVO 3-80 @ 70 %, 40 cm distance, 6 % tilt Temperature: 24.5 °C Relative Humidity: 46 % VPD: ~1.65 kPa DLI: ~42.8 mol/m²/day ####################LED settings#################### Days 1-7 | Seedling 20 % → ~190 µmol/m²/s → ~12.3 DLI Low-stress establishment Days 8-14 | Establishment 30 % → ~280 µmol/m²/s → ~18.1 DLI Early vegetative growth Days 15-24 | Early Vegetative 40 % → ~375 µmol/m²/s → ~24.3 DLI Active biomass build-up Days 25-34 | Late Vegetative 50 % → ~470 µmol/m²/s → ~30.4 DLI Pre-flower development Days 35-42 | Stretch 60 % → ~565 µmol/m²/s → ~36.6 DLI Controlled stretch phase 👉Days 43-70 | Main Flower 70 % → ~660 µmol/m²/s → ~42.8 DLI Peak production phase Days 71-77 | Ripening 65 % → ~610 µmol/m²/s → ~39.6 DLI Maturation and resin development Days 78-84 | Finish 55 % → ~515 µmol/m²/s → ~33.4 DLI Fade-out / reduced metabolic demand

SpliffyRand Day 57 - Cannibalism This week plant #3 started to cannibalize herself. Out of the three, she is the biggest and clearly the hungriest as well. After increasing the LED power to 70% two weeks ago, I already noticed the leaves getting lighter. Fast forward to today, a significant number of lower leaves are yellowing from the bottom up. I’m fairly confident this is a combination of the reduced canopy distance, the increased light intensity, and the resulting higher nutrient demand. Especially for magnesium and nitrogen. Plant #3 simply pushed harder than the others. The remaining two plants are doing fine. Plant #1 is getting slightly lighter too, but that looks more like a natural fade. The smallest plant, #2, shows almost no color change and appears to be the most mature of the three. She already has some brownish pistils and seems to be moving ahead in terms of ripening. Even though all three plants are the same strain and were treated identically, this run once again proves how difficult it is to achieve complete uniformity when growing from seed. Individual phenotypic variation is always a factor. To reduce stress and slow things down a bit, I lowered the LED power from 70% back to 60% and added 0.25 g of Epsom salt per liter to support magnesium demand. If the plants stabilize over the next few days, I may increase the power slightly to 65%, but for now the priority is to keep them balanced and comfortable rather than pushing maximum output. Quick Stats Day 57 / 84 SANlight EVO 3-80 @ 60%, 40 cm distance, 6% tilt Temperature: 22.5 °C Relative Humidity: 50% VPD: ~1,36 kPa DLI: ~36.6 mol/m²/day ####################LED settings#################### Days 1-7 | Seedling 20 % → ~190 µmol/m²/s → ~12.3 DLI Low-stress establishment Days 8-14 | Establishment 30 % → ~280 µmol/m²/s → ~18.1 DLI Early vegetative growth Days 15-24 | Early Vegetative 40 % → ~375 µmol/m²/s → ~24.3 DLI Active biomass build-up Days 25-34 | Late Vegetative 50 % → ~470 µmol/m²/s → ~30.4 DLI Pre-flower development Days 35-42 | Stretch 60 % → ~565 µmol/m²/s → ~36.6 DLI Controlled stretch phase Days 43-55 | Main Flower 70 % → ~660 µmol/m²/s → ~42.8 DLI Peak production phase 👉Days 56-70 | Main Flower 60 % → ~565 µmol/m²/s → ~36.6 DLI Peak production phase Days 71-77 | Ripening 65 % → ~610 µmol/m²/s → ~39.6 DLI Maturation and resin development Days 78-84 | Finish 55 % → ~515 µmol/m²/s → ~33.4 DLI Fade-out / reduced metabolic demand

SpliffyRand Day 71 - Finishing Line This week I stopped adding Epsom salt and reduced the LED power to 55%. I already checked the trichomes on all plants, and both #2 and #3 would be ready to harvest by now. Plant #1 could probably use another week, but to keep things consistent I will harvest all of them on day 74, just like in my last grow. Overall, this run was very smooth. Aside from the faster yellowing of plant #3, there is really nothing to mention that didn’t go according to plan. I’m looking forward to sharing some pictures of the final product soon! SpliffyRand Here are the dried and cured buds! Out of the three plants, two turned out very similar in appearance and smell. Great strain overall. Pretty strong with a nice sour aroma. Plant #3 ended up a bit larfy and doesn’t have those same sour terps. I really like this strain and will definitely grow it again sometime!

Danke dir :)
