lov3m3mor3 Definitely underwent transit stress (it’s below 0 degrees F during the day). Setting up to top later this week once she recovers. She looks great.

lov3m3mor3 heart eyes emoji dancing emoji I think she is thriving. once her top has more growth and she’s a little wider, I will trim the two or three branches lowest to the soil. added a few before / after photos of training but IDK if they uploaded in order
Also I can’t find a clear explanation on the difference between manifolding and main-lining so if anyone knows please comment with your opinion or experience. thrilled to go look at your journals!!

lov3m3mor3 pest of some kind pictured; lil black dots, eggs of some kind. sprayed nuke em so hopefully this won’t be persistent. love the variety of issues that can crop up in a single tent. this experience is so enriching. I have unintentional mushrooms starting to grow out of my other pots! soil is definitely live.

lov3m3mor3 She smells so gorgeous, like gassy apple juice. Haven’t smelled anything like her before so I’m very excited to see what her flower is like. The LST + defoliation in crowded areas helped a lot with those branches spreading outwards. I hope the cuttings I took and plugged into soil develop roots. If they take, I’ll post another diary with the photos I’ve been taking.

lov3m3mor3 Scheduling the lights to flip this afternoon at 1:03pm! I’ve turned the light intensity up double since we’ve started. She was very affected by light at the beginning but she’s definitely hardy now that she’s fully established. She’s very wide.

lov3m3mor3 Nutrient issues? stress from humidity? you guess, I can’t. One or two understory leaves are yellowing and aren’t falling off and we’re losing the smallest leaves at the base of the trunk. I added a tbsp of dolomite lime to the top for PH and that helped a little. too much nitrogen based on clawing.
Those first buds look awesome. I’m training mainly for light to bud sites. I will probably free her from the twist ties in a week or two and just go with the net. Super excited for my AC Infinity dehumidifier coming in March. I want to get 4 plants in here!!! It’s still snowing out and I love it but I’m over ready for planting season.

lov3m3mor3 moved the net up. she’s thirsty. did three rounds of watering last week including two without nutrients. at this point i wonder if i’m struggling to mix my giant nute bottle all the way; i know some stuff settled to the bottom of the bottle so I have been stirring vigorously. its annoying given how expensive this stuff is.

lov3m3mor3 Added bone meal and topped her off with soil as she’s settling into the pot. Expecting to harvest in 2 weeks and dry her in the tent! I’ve never tried that so we’ll see how it goes.

lov3m3mor3 I’m so excited for harvesting! Though the symptoms of excess nitrogen are back… I’m gonna try fertilizing twice a month during my next grow. It just doesn’t seem like she needs the amount of water-soluble nutrients that I was giving her. I think that makes sense if the mycorrhiza inoculant I used is supposed to help provide more nitrogen to the plant.
After I do the big chop on Apple Blossom, I’ll grow clovers and beans in her planter. I do crop rotation so I’ll use two of my clover-filled planters in my next grow. I like to mow down the tops of the clover, leave ‘em in as a green compost, and top off with fresh soil! They’re visible in the back of some of my photos.
