Bunterbiber seed was put into water for 24h. Then for 24 hours into cosmetic cotton pads and afterwards into soil (Floragard Anzuchterde).
Light (20W full spectrum) in my little breeder is on for 18 hours. The plan is to move the plant into the bigger tent after some about 2 weeks.

Bunterbiber She has outgrown the small pot. The roots are everywhere, and she’s no longer showing any noticeable growth.
At the moment, the larger tent is still occupied by another plant that needs more time than expected. Once that one is finished, this little lady will get a new pot and more space to grow.

Bunterbiber Since the big tent is opening up in the next 1–2 days, I was finally able to repot her into a larger container. As you can see from the photos and the yellow leaves, the poor girl has been struggling a bit. The small pot was completely root-bound. She’ll be able to recover nicely in her new home! ;-) I also topped her during the week (see the 2nd photo).

Bunterbiber For my first photo in the tent, I’m experimenting with a version of the Gas Lantern Routine: 12h on, 5.5h off, 1h on, 5.5h off. So far, she seems to be handling it well. I also started LST this week to encourage more lateral growth.

Bunterbiber The lady is slowly picking up pace, and the leaves have a lush green now. I’ve been keeping her low to the ground with LST to encourage more lateral growth. I also did some defoliation before taking these photos to make sure the new shoots get more light.

Bunterbiber She’s grown quite a bit over the past week and the leaves are a lush, healthy green.
I’m still keeping her very low using LST. I’ve also been doing some ongoing defoliation, removing larger fan leaves that were shading the younger shoots.
I might flip her to flower sometime next week if she continues to develop at this pace.
It’s honestly such a blast watching her grow!
