Sour Diesel & Mimosa x Orange Punch

Katzi 04/01/26 Time to transplant. Two 15L pots were filled with roughly 60% Plagron Bio Light Mix and 40% perlite. Each pot got 75g of STARTREX, 5g of MYCOTREX directly into the planting hole, and two slow-release fertilizer tablets placed about 10cm above the bottom of the pot. Following the Autopot instructions, I fully saturated the pots with water and let them drain for about 20 minutes. After that, I added another 1L of water mixed with 1g BACTREX and 10ml ORGATREX per pot. Looking back, this was probably a bit much for such young seedlings. Oh well, onward we go. Unfortunately, I’m also dealing with a small fungus gnat infestation from my houseplants. Despite taking precautions, they managed to sneak in during the transplant process. Looks like nematodes will be in my future. Wish me luck _______________________ 04/01/26 Zeit zum umtopfen. Gefüllt wurden zwei 15L Töpfe mit ca. 60% Plagron Bio Lightmix und 40% Perlite. Dazu jeweils 75g STARTEX, 5g MYCROTEX ins Planzenloch und 10cm vom Topfboden entfernt 2 Langzeitdünger-Tabletten. Nach der Autopot Anleitung habe ich die Töpfe bis in Wasser getränkt und ca. 20min austropfen lassen. Anschließend habe ich noch 1L Wasser mit 1g BACTREX und 10ml ORGATREX dazu gegossen. Rückblicken betrachtet wohl alles etwas viel für die noch zu jungen Sämlinge. Egal, weiter gehts. Leider kämpfe ich mit einer kleinen Trauermückenplage bei meinen Zimmerpflanzen. Trotz Vorsichtsmaßnahmen haben sie es geschafft sich in den Umtopfprozess einzuschleichen. Das spricht für einen zukünftigen Nematoden Einsatz, wünscht mir Glück.

Katzi 11/01/26 Both plants seem to be slowly bouncing back and are starting to show stable growth. The Mimosa x Orange Punch is staying a bit lower compared to the Sour Diesel. I haven’t added any additional water up to this point. Because the tent is located in my bedroom, humidity at night can spike up to 75%. Still seems to be within a reasonable range for now. Thoughts about moving the setup to the attic are getting louder. I’m planning to relocate the tent before setting up the ScrOG net and committing to the final layout. _______________________ 11/01/26 Die beiden scheinen sich langsam zu fangen und eine stabilen Wuchs zu entwickeln. Die Mimosa X Orange Punch wächst etwas flacher als die Sour Diesel. Wasser habe ich bis dahin noch nicht dazu gegeben. Durch meinen Schlafzimmer Standort habe ich Nachts hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit von bis zu 75%. Aber sollte noch alles im Rahmen sein. Überlegungen zu einem Umzug auf den Dachboden werden lauter. Ich denke kurz von dem Einsatz des ScrOG- Netzes werde ich das Zelt an einen neuen Standort aufbauen.

Katzi 14/01/26 Here we go, my friends! Both plants are clearly enjoying themselves and are getting noticeably bushier every day. They’re also looking healthy overall, at least to my eyes. What do you think? In a few days, I’ll probably top them after the 4th node. 17/01/26 Yesterday I watered each plant with 4 liters of tap water. Since both look healthy and strong, it was time to bring out the guillotine. I just hope the cut wasn’t too close to the two main shoots. Time will tell. 19/01/26 Another small update. Both plants are doing great and handled the topping without any issues. In the meantime, I treated myself to an AC Infinity Cloudforge T3 to better unlock the potential of my setup. And what can I say, the VPD-based automation between 0.8 kPa and 0.9 kPa works flawlessly. I’m hoping that once they move up to the attic, I’ll also get nighttime humidity under control. Until then, I’ll keep things as they are, seems to be working just fine :) _______________________ 14/01/26 Es geht los meine Freunde! Beide haben Bock und wachsen jeden Tag erkennbar buschiger. Auch machen sie einen gesunden Eindruck, oder wie seht ihr das? In ein paar Tagen werde ich sie wohl nach der 4. Nodie Toppen. 17/01/26 Gestern habe ich jeweils 4Liter Leitungswasser gegossen. Da beide einen gesunden und starken Eindruck machen wird die Guillotine ausgepackt. Ich hoffe der Schnitt war nicht zu nah an den beiden Trieben. Abwarten. 19/01/26 Nochmal kleines Update. Beide sind wohlauf und haben das Toppen gut weg gesteckt. Zwischenzeitlich habe ich mir noch einen AC Infinite Cloudforge T3 gegönnt um das Potential meines Set Ups besser nutzen zu können. Und was soll ich sagen. Die Automation nach dem VPD Wert zwischen 0,8kPA und 0,9kPA funktioniert tadellos. Ich hoffe, wenn die Beiden auf den Dachboden gezogen sind, bekomme ich die Luftfeuchtigkeit in der Nacht auch in den Griff. Bis dahin geht es so weiter, scheint zu funktionieren :)

Katzi 25/01/26 Both plants have recovered well from the topping. I’ve also started removing a few of the first leaves to improve airflow and overall air access within the canopy. The Autopot system is still not running, as I’ll be moving the plants up to the attic in a few days. Sour Diesel continues to stretch more vertically, while the Mimosa x Orange Punch stays shorter and bushier. _______________________ 25/01/26 Beide haben das toppen gut überstanden. Außerdem habe ich angefangen die ersten Blätter zu entfernen, um eine ausreichende Erreichbarkeit der Luft zu gewährleisten. Autopot ist noch nicht am laufen, da ich die Pflanzen erst in ein paar Tagen auf den Dachboden verfrachten werde. Nach wie vor wächst die Sour Diesel mehr in die Höhe, als die Mimose X Orange Punch.

Katzi 28/01/26 The move is done. The entire tent is no longer in the bedroom and has been relocated to the attic. This has definitely improved the relative humidity situation :) The Autopot system is now up and running as well. I did another round of defoliation. Unfortunately, I don’t own a proper ScrOG net. The coarse, elastic net I’m using is actually meant for plant support, but I’ll give it a try anyway. I installed the net at the height of the Mimosa x Orange Punch canopy, roughly 25cm above the pot. The Sour Diesel was guided into the net, bringing both plants back to the same height. Now I’ll give them a few days to recover and see how they respond. _______________________ 28/01/26 Der Umzug ist vollbracht. Das komplette Zelt steht nun nicht mehr im Schlafzimmer, sondern auf dem Dachboden. Dies verbessert die Situation der relativen Luftfeuchte zum positiven :) Das Autopot System ist nun auch erfolgreich in Betrieb genommen. Ich habe noch ein weiteres mal entlaubt. Leider besitze ich kein echtes ScrOG Netz. Das grobmaschige elastische Netz hat eigentlich den Zweck der Stabilisierung, jedoch werde ich es trotzdem versuchen. Das Netz habe ich auf Kopfhöhe der MxOP installiert, ca. 25cm. Die SD habe ich in das Netz geflüchtet, somit haben beide Pflanzen wieder die selbe Höhe. Jetzt lassen wir den beiden erstmal ein paar Tage Zeit zur Erholung.
