Kushycat The next young lady to receive a single report as a replacement for the dying Applefritter from the other report.
May the apple-strong fruitiness be with me and with you, dear happy Tree friends.🙏🏼🍏

Kushycat It has a compact growth habit and is developing completely differently from the AppleFritter I cultivated outdoors last year.🌞
I am satisfied with this one too and expect it to start flowering soon.🙏🏼

Kushycat Hungry and thirsty. She was also involved in the bondage session. Because there are different strains in the tent, the smell is sometimes difficult to identify, but a slight apple aroma is noticeable, or is it just my imagination?

Kushycat Here, too, you can see the effects of incorrect pH and incorrect fertilization. However, it has coped best alongside Orion. I rinsed them all again a few days ago and now I hardly dare to fertilize them, but I can see that they are becoming pale and I think they need some nitrogen and flower fertilizer. I will apply a small dose and see how they react.

Kushycat Fertilized carefully. She’s thirsty and hungry. She’s still pretty pale, but my goal now isn’t to force the leaves to turn green at all costs. The runoff was still a bit high—I can’t explain it, unless there were still a few too many salts in the substrate. I’ll increase the watering volume a bit so I get 10–15% of runoff.
There are too many varieties in the grow room to clearly detect any smells, but when I take it out to water it, a distinct sour apple scent comes through.

Kushycat She’s getting thirstier and thirstier and is really hungry. She’s regained some color, but she’s still drawing nutrients from the large leaves. I’m giving her nutrients all the time, but she’s crying out for more. The runoff has a good pH of 6.5—it comes out the same way I put it in. Unfortunately, I still don’t have an EC meter. She’s praying all the time; I hope it’s not because of high salt content.
The buds are swelling up relatively well, so I don’t think it’s a lockout or anything like that. She’s undernourished, but I’m doing my best. The photos are bad, as always. She looks healthier in the tent than in the pictures.

Kushycat I'd say it's looking pretty good. Maximum nutrient uptake. It's developed a nice color thanks to the low nighttime temperatures.
I’m going to stop using the booster now—maybe give it one last dose of regular bloom fertilizer and then slowly taper off. New pistils are still forming every day, but the rate is slowing down. I think it’ll be another 2–3 weeks until harvest. The large leaves are turning pale despite plenty of fertilizer, but I think that’s okay at this late stage.

Kushycat It’s still producing new pistils, remains thirsty, and is soaking up its nutrients like a champ. Nutrient leaching from the leaves has stopped. The flowers are getting bigger, and the color is turning almost entirely brown. It smells great but isn’t as pungent as the NYC, for example. I like it a lot; I think I’ll give it another two weeks or so. Stopped the PK Boost—just using regular bloom fertilizer now, etc.
The photos are pretty blurry. I’ll take some new ones this weekend. The digital camera is a tool, but it’s very complex compared to a smartphone camera.

Kushycat Because of the warm outside temperature, it's now 30 degrees in the tent, and she's still very thirsty. I gave her another booster for thicker, denser, and sweeter buds. But now I’m done feeding her so she can slowly taper off. She’s still very active for being in her 8th week of flowering, which I think tells me she still needs another 2 weeks. We’ll see.
Every time I look inside the tent, I think, “Oh my god, it's budrot!” But that's actually the color—as you can probably see in the photos—and I'd say it doesn't just smell like baked apples, it looks like them too. It's a good phenotype, except for the mishaps I caused by mistreating it.🍏🐱

Kushycat I haven’t checked the trichomes yet, but she doesn’t look quite ready. I’d say around 50% of the pistils are still white. There isn’t much new growth, but the buds are getting fuller and denser.
I think this one will end up being the most productive of all the plants. The smell is hard to describe—the NL has kind of overpowered it.
I’ll give it another 1–2 weeks. I did give her a small dose of flower fertilizer one last time, but now that’s it—only water with a pH of 6.5 from here on out.
The tent will be almost empty soon, @paradiseseeds

Kushycat Now that she’s the last one standing in the tent, she smells absolutely amazing every time you open it. The aroma reminds me of a freshly baked apple pie, with a slightly tart twist to the apples.
I’m really excited, because she’s giving more and more signs that harvest time is getting close—and that Kushy, with his scissor hands, will soon get to work. Sounds a bit weird, I know. 😄
I think she’ll be ready in about a week, maybe even a few days longer. As usual, it’s taking longer than the breeder suggested—but from experience, the biggest push often comes in those final days.
Whoever finds the bird gets to keep it.

Kushycat We’re rapidly approaching the end of our journey 🌿✨
She’s giving it one final push—swelling her calyxes and pulling the last nutrients from the few leaves she still has left after everything I unintentionally put her through 😅🌱
The sour undertone in her scent has now become dominant, and somehow my whole house smells like it despite the carbon filter… or maybe I’m just imagining things 🍏🐱🐱
Over the weekend, I’ll upload a few more pictures taken in daylight or outside the grow tent 📸☀️ 09.052026 Added

Kushycat Last flower update, because it looks strangely beautiful right now. I’ve never seen the flowers turn this brown before. The leaves are falling off anyway, so we’ll just ignore that for now 🤭 Otherwise, I think she’s coming along really nicely.
A few days ago, I picked a small flower from the very bottom and tested it after drying it a bit. Of course it wasn’t properly cured yet, but it already tasted really good — fruity with a slightly tart note — and the effect was surprisingly strong with a long-lasting high.
I think on Sunday evening I’ll grab the garden shears and enjoy those sticky buds — first while trimming, and then later on 😸
20.05.2026 It doesn't seem ready to be harvested yet. I checked the trichomes, and they're not amber enough for me—there are hardly any visible so far—and it's somehow pushing forward again. I have no idea where it's getting its energy from, since all the larger leaves are almost dead.
Added 2 Pictures
Whoops, I almost forgot that I harvested it—or rather, that I needed to write this report. So this journey of ours has now come to an end, and I think it turned out pretty well despite the circumstances. It smells just like the original sour apple rings, even though it’s been hanging for two days now. I think it has a hint of fennel in it now, and I really like that because I love fennel. So far, I think I’ve had three apple fritters from Rqs, all of which I liked, but the next one will be from a different manufacturer.

Kushycat It ended up sitting longer than planned, but I don't think it did it any harm. I didn't examine the trichomes under the microscope anymore; instead, I took a closer look at them in the vaporizer xD Oh my gosh, even without curing, it already tasted deliciously like little apples and made my eyes go all squinty. I always find the Apple Fritter high to be pretty cerebral, and it makes my head feel all fuzzy!
@BlaKX, ty, man! 😿
@Kushycat, ok.....da hast du Recht 👍
@India_Calcoen, Thanks! It's really nice to see that we've managed to salvage it somewhat. Every day when I look inside the tent, it looks a little better—apart from the irreparable damage—and starting tomorrow... I'm not telling just yet. 🤭
@FatnastyzBudz, Thank you. I'll let her know. It really is a small, crisp apple and is slowly beginning to smell sweet and become sticky. I can already imagine a slight apple aroma.
@FatnastyzBudz, Yeah, sorry, I'd say I understand 99% of what's said or written in English, but sometimes I'm not exactly sure what's meant. It could have been something inappropriate, but it always comes down to where the thought originated—which might not be right, lol. 😹🙈
Also sollte die letzten Tage gut passen :) .
