GeezandDraht Lets Go!
Our second run is on its way. This time around its wintertime and pretty cold outside.
We germinated 3 seeds of the Fx3 and Pink Milk by Solfire Gradens and 3 seeds of Limonario by Black Tuna Co.
Soaked them in water for 24 hours then put them in between two cotton pads with about 8 spays of water. These went into zip-lock bags (25% open) and a shoebox to rest in front of a heater. After about 20 hours we transplanted the seeds into 1,5 liter pots in Biobizz Light Mix and watered lightly around the seeds. Each seed got topped with a plastic cup for a dome.
After 48 hours all 9 seeds have popped their heads out of the soil.
Welcome Ladies! 💚

GeezandDraht Week 1 🌱
About 48 hours after we put the seeds to soil all 9 have popped their heads out of the ground.
Welcome to the world ladies!
We kept them under a dome until day 5 of veg and watered just a little bit around the seedlings.
On day 6 they got a little more water for the first time. 600ml for all 9 plants to be exact, pH 6.3.
After 7 days all 9 plants look healthy and none of them seem to be much behind the others in development. The three Limonario are the tallest so far and the FX3 is the shortest, but not behind in leaf-development. 💚😊
Sorry for the picture quality! I changed my phone and they lost sharpness in transfer. Next week will be much better!🤓

GeezandDraht Week 2 🌱
Its been two weeks since the seedlings have hatched from their seed and things are looking good. All 9 plants are looking healthy and are pretty equally developed.
This week we continued to water when the soil felt dry. They got 600ml of plain water together (pH 6.3) on Thursday and Monday. Tomorrow (Thursday, Day 15 of Veg) they will get their first feeding with nutrients. We will be using the Athena Blended Line and transplant into a coco + light mix mixture (Biobizz, 50/50) next week (19l fabric pots). We also increased the PPFD to 300.
Do you have a recommendation for additional Silica or do you think it won't be neccessary?
Our favorites so far (from left to right):
Pink Milk #3, but all of them look pretty similar.
Limonario #3, she is the biggest of them all.
FX3 #2 & #3, can't decide... #3 is beautiful but a little short. So far FX3 are the shortest and Limonario the tallest plants.
Excited for next week! 💚🌱💚

GeezandDraht Week 3🌱
This week went by fast. The Ladies got their first feeding on Day 15 of Veg. We gave them 50% of the recommended dosage (using the Athena Blended Line). Ph to 6.3, EC: 1.56mS. Each plant got 330ml to get a bit of run off (pH 6.2, EC: 1,74mS).
On Day 19 we transplanted them into their 19 liter fabric pots in which they will stay until the end. The substrate will be 50% biobizz light mix and 50% biobizz coco mix from now on. Also we mixed some white shark mycorrhiza into the soil and sprinkled some directly onto the root balls. Afterwards we watered them in with 330ml of plain water.
Now that the plants fill out the tent again we put our second led into operation and adjusted the PPFD to 300-350.
The Ladies still look a little tired after transplanting. Hopefully they recover well as we need to top them soon 💚

GeezandDraht Week 4 🌱
Wow can't belive it's been four weeks already!
The Ladies are doing very well! They look healthy, green and are growing a lot.
On day 25 they got their first big feeding with 50% of the recommended dosage again. Each plant got 4.5 liters, producing about 10% run-off.
On day 26 we topped them. Limonario and Pink Milk got topped above the 5th node, Fx3 above the 6th because they are the shorter plants. We got rid of the first node on all of them.
Two days later they all look great and happy! VPD is now 0.9, PPFD 400.
We want to veg them for another week or two and lollipop before flipping to flower.
Hope the hight differeces won't get to much, but we will be able to hang the lights at two different levels.
See you next week 💚🌱💚

GeezandDraht Week 5🌱 +2 days
This will be the last week of veg before we flip to flower. The ladies are doing very well! They have grown a lot this week despite being defoliated twice. So this is what happend:
Day 31: we removed the top fan leafes to get more light to the new sprouts and upped the PPFD to 420-500 (corner-middle).
On day 32 we fed the plants with 4.5 liters each, producing 10% run-off. This time using 75% of the recommended dosage resulting in 2.1mS EC, which is the goal according to the Athena guide. The pH was regulated down to 6.2. Drain numbers are EC: 2.1mS pH: 6.2
Afterwards we opend up the canopy a bit using tent pegs to reduce overlapping leafs. In this process we hurt one of the Pink Milk (#2 front row on the left) by pushing her brench down to much. It has to be said that these branches are allready very strong and this sort of training should have happend earlier on. We noticed it a couple of days later, because the leafes on that brench began to hang and dry out at the tips. We removed all tent pegs and taped the branch using crepe tape.
Day 34: Lollipopping + Defoliation
We got rid of the lower third and leafes blocking future budsites.
Day 36: Defoliation... again
The plants recovered very well and produced even more leafes. So much that we were forced to do another and more intense round of defoliation to avoid the many wet spots between touching leafs and overgrown future budsites.
Pink Milk #2 seems be ok, the leafs on her broken arm are standing upright again .
We will be flipping them to flower as soon as they have recovered from doulbe-defoliation.
Strain Notes:
Pink Milk: 37-39cm,
very strong branches and a thick stem looking like rhubarb.
Big, dark green leafs with red/purple stems. The undersite is beginning to shimmer red/purple as well.
Roots growing out of the bottom of their fabric pots (19liter).
All looking pretty similar
Fx3: 34-39cm,
The thickest stems in the tent,
also the bushiest plants producing lots of leafs and sprouts.
Roots growing not only out the bottom of the pots, but also out the top of the soil.
All looking pretty similar but have slight differences in internodal spaces.
Limonario: 25-46cm
One is the shortest plant in the tent, the other two are tallest, looking like a pretty tropical houseplant with no deficiencies or burnt tips at all. These two are very stretchy with a Sativa-like growth-structure.
Whereas the other one, Limonario #1 is the shortest plant with the least increase in height of the week. This one is showing some deficiencies, yellow tips and slight chlorosis on older leafs. She is definitely the diva of the tent.
Wow, these plants are looking happy and healthy 😍🌱🔥 Great job! Keep growing strong 💪 If you have time, check out my YouTube grow channel and show some love 💚📹✨
@JackOfAllTrades
