The underdog scheme #4

Lily_Bloom Chemdog took its time in the beginning but started immediately with a very beautiful leaf color. I’m happy about it and have nothing else to say this week :)

Lily_Bloom This little beauty is very modest in any way. Think I might overwhelmed it a little at the start.. the dark green color and the slow growth are good indicators in comparison to the glutton peyote :D nonetheless it’s healthy! I already know what training’s technique I’ll use :)

Lily_Bloom Until the plantys grew big enough to not share a light anymore, you’re sometimes going to see pictures of both of them. And that way it might be easier to understand what I mean when I make a comparison between them. Brilliant. :D Because of the short internode of chemdog I decided to go for a classic mainlining, but because this would be a very time consuming project I’ll take it easier and go for a simple manifold instead. But if you’re interested to see me doing a mainlining beast, let me know and I’ll consider it for another grow :)

Lily_Bloom No more hesitation. There is always a significant change and growth to see whenever the box is opened and I will keep feeding a moderat nutrient solution. Less is more with this one here

Lily_Bloom Except the manifold I didn’t use another training but started to decide which branches to cut. First I thought to keep about 8 in total but I had a change of heart and I will go with 16-20 branches. I got the space now, so I got to use it :D

Lily_Bloom This week I defoliated on 3 different days and spread the 4 main branches further as preparation for the switch. I kept the nutrient solution and just filled it up with 3 litre add back. I reduce the light slowly, every second day 2 hours less. Flowering stage - here we go!
