EVD420 This one is Milk Bath × Blueberry F1 — first generation of my cross.
Milk Bath comes from @LIT FARM Blueberry from @DutchPassion_Official
It’s a very finicky plant, and I didn’t manage to get a proper seed count this time.
Still, hoping to preserve some of the unique aromas and flavors this line can deliver.
Working with the “milk bath” method, but this one’s testing my patience — extremely sensitive.

That’s it for today — stay tuned for the next updates.

EVD420 Yo, what’s up growmies 🤝
Update on Milk Bath × Blueberry.
Out of three plants, one stands out with deformed, fused leaves — some of the leaf fingers are partially merged.
This plant also shows the least apical dominance compared to the others.
All plants were transplanted into 2.5L pots and left undisturbed for about a week.
After returning, they were all in great condition.
I moved them into a larger grow box, switched them to flower, and performed defoliation — you can see the results in the photos.
That’s it for this update.

EVD420 During this reporting period, Milk Bath x Bluberry f1 underwent structural work as part of the general reorganization phase.
All plants were defoliated, topped, and cleaned of non-promising branches to control height and improve structure.
The remaining females have been transitioned into flowering.
Phenotype observations:
• Plant #1 appears to be the healthiest and most vigorous of the group, showing strong overall structure and stability.
• Plant #3 displays irregular internodal spacing — nodes are not symmetrical compared to the others. It also expresses 7-finger leaves, while the rest remain consistent in structure.
• Among the four plants, Plant #2 was identified as male. It has been moved to a separate box for pollen collection.
Finding a male within this small population is strategically valuable.
This will allow for increased genetic diversity in the F2 generation, resulting in a larger seed batch and a broader selection pool for future phenotype hunting.
Flowering phase observation now begins.

EVD420 During this reporting period, the plants expressed clear sex characteristics, marking the beginning of the pre-flowering stage.
These plants demonstrate the strongest vegetative growth in the room.
They are currently the largest individuals in this cycle, likely influenced by larger container size.
Structural intervention was required:
• Plants were topped (first topping for this line).
• Heavy defoliation was performed — large fan leaves were removed aggressively to regain canopy control and slow vertical expansion.
Growth remains vigorous and healthy despite the strong pruning.
At this stage, plants are considered to be in pre-flower, awaiting full flowering development.

EVD420 Flowering has officially begun for this line.
Selection & Pollen Management
• The selected male plant has been isolated and moved to a separate space.
Full pollination work is pending due to limited workspace availability.
Targeted Branch Pollination
Manual pollination was performed selectively:
• Plant #4 — one branch pollinated with KUST F3 pollen.
• Plant #1 — one branch pollinated with Diesel pollen.
This controlled branching strategy allows multi-directional genetic evaluation within the same generation.
Current Status
Plants are now in early flowering.
Full-scale pollination work is scheduled for the upcoming week.
Observation phase continues.

EVD420 Structural & Breeding Update
• Plant #3 has been moved into the pollination box together with the selected male.
• Two remaining plants continue flowering in the main chamber.
• Currently:
• Two plants remain in the main flowering box.
• One plant is in the separate pollination box.
Pollination Notes
Diesel pollen previously collected appears to have lost viability.
As a result, additional branch pollination may be performed later to increase genetic diversity and reinforce seed production.
Current Status
The line is in active flowering.
Pollination work is partially ongoing, with potential supplemental breeding planned for the upcoming period.

EVD420 Pollination Status
Controlled pollination has been completed successfully.
The plant shows full fertilization across the canopy, with clear seed development visible.
After pollination was finalized, the plant was returned to the main flowering box.
Phenotypic Observations
The plant is already showing very strong trichome production at an early stage.
Resin is forming not only on the flowers but also extending onto the surrounding leaves, indicating a strong resinous genetic influence.
The expression strongly suggests California-type resin production, with dense trichome coverage developing early in the bloom cycle.
Current Status
All breeding work for this line has been completed.
The plant is now in seed maturation and late flowering development, with observation continuing until full ripening and harvest.

EVD420 Flower Development
Flowers are dense and firm, showing solid formation across the plant.
Bud stacking looks clean and consistent, indicating stable development.
Aroma Profile
The smell is bright and noticeable, but without clearly defined dominant notes at this stage.
Structure
Bud structure is visually appealing, with well-formed colas.
Current Status
Transitioned to pure water (flush phase).
Entering final ripening stage before harvest.

EVD420 Harvest
Upper leaves began to dry out, indicating the plant had reached the end of its cycle.
Harvest was performed at the point where trichomes were fully matured, with some amber heads visible.
Flower & Resin
• Buds remain dense and well-structured, even with full seed set
• Strong trichome coverage across flowers and surrounding leaves
Seed Development
The plant is fully seeded, with a strong and successful seed set.
Genetic Value
Preserving this line was especially important, as the original Milk Bath genetics were no longer available.
This cross shows promising potential, and may produce more interesting expressions in the next generation.
Result
The cycle is completed.
Seeds have been successfully secured for further selection and testing.
EVD420 Seed Yield
Total seed production from the main cross is approximately ~50 seeds.
Additionally, a secondary cross was made:
* Milk Bath × Blueberry × Diesel
From this branch, around ~20 seeds were collected.
Generation & Genetics
This represents the second cross between these lines, moving beyond the initial F1 stage.
In the current cycle, plants still showed a tendency to resemble parental traits — either leaning toward Blueberry or, in this run, more often toward Milk Bath.
The next generation is expected to produce significantly greater genetic diversity, allowing for deeper selection.
Result
The cycle is fully completed.
The primary objective — expanding genetic diversity between these two lines — has been successfully achieved.
Seeds are now ready for future selection, testing, and phenotype hunting.
