Weather has been awful for growers here in Ontario Canada. 2nd week is finished and I have a 4” plant and a 1.5” plant. An animal got at a smaller one and I found her laying beside the pot. I replanted her last evening let’s see if she recovers. My 4” mama is looking good .. introduced .25ml of nutes per 2 cups of water (ph’d at 6). I gave the nutes to both 2 X per week. How am I doing ? I’m rookie ? Brought them indoors just now as temps will be around 10 degrees this evening. Any tips would help guys !! Please contact and follow me!

Just finished my third week of growth. What a nightmare situation for a first time grower. Both plants have been attacked. My big strong girl #1 has been almost completely ruined. She had so much crazy growth over the course of 1 week (now 6"'s tall)and last evening she was shredded by something. I am surprised at her growth considering the awful weather we have been having. I am going to continue to treat her well and see what comes of it. Girl #2 , who was also attacked is now doing well! although she is very small for 3 weeks at 2.5 " I believe she will produce something. I am going to start another seed tomorrow and begin a new grow. I have learned from my mistakes and the next one wont get attacked. I am watering when dry. Every other water I am giving between .5ml and 1ml of nutrients. The weather has been a nightmare for a first time grower...Thankfully in 2 days its gonna be warm/hot for the next several months. Any ideas from any experienced growers here would be helpful!

Girl #1 ; she has grown 2” in height over one week. I have increased the nutes on her to every other watering. SHE had 2 ml on her last feeding. It then rained hard 24 hrs later. Nutes are tricky when dealing with Mother Nature, as the nutes could flush out after a hard rain. I see some brown spots on her and I am wondering what they are. If you Put your nose up to her she has a slight ganja smell!!! Girl#2 ; she has grown 2” in height over one week. She is about 2.5” shorter the girl one but her foliage is in better shape. No odur at all, even with the nose up close. * I will continue feeding with every other water. Does anyone know what the brown spots on the leaves mean?* *Im a rookie grower and this is my first time. I’m going to avoid any LST as they have already been stressed enough. Just going to see what happens and get what I can from each plant.

The girls are really growing hard! @dinafem is something I may always stick with has a seed producer. Nutrients, 2 X per week 2 ml per 8 cups of water. Feels like this girls want water daily as well. I’m a rookie grower so I’m just going by instinct and observing plant response. So far they some ok with how I’m doing things. I have decided to avoid LST (was gonna start this week) they have been throw so much already I don’t wanna bother them anymore. Does anyone have any feed back for me ? I see I’m in pre flowering mode now and we now smell! Mmmm Mmmm! I’m expecting several popcorn Nugs on each plant and one pretty decent sized nug. We shall see!

So, ive had to move my plants out into the woods. The smell coming off these bad boys had me worried. #1 I am concerned the kids next door will steal them. I have over heard them talking and they would have done so. These plants are growing like bats out of hell. Several bud growth spot. I havent seen them much out there. about once every 4 days so far. I nute each time. Lots of rain has been coming down in the evenings around here and its very hot and humid. Please zoom in on the day 45 shots and tell me what those brown spots are. They seem to have increased once i moved them out to the woods. Also, I have removed cocoons under a leaf two times now. I also have some folage eaten by some sort of bug. I made a pray using essential oils and tested it on a leaf. The leaf (within minutes) wilted. So, if anyone has a solution for bugs .. please pass it my way. All in all... I believe I am in the safe zone...Girl #1 & Girl #2 are in it for the long haul and I will most certainly get something.

Buds starting to really pop now. They seem a kind of small compared to other BlueCheese Autos on here. Its been very hot and humid here. I have to constantly removed caterpillar eggs off of the leaves. I have increased the nutrients to today giving 4ml with PH'd water. I am aiming for an every - other day nutrient feed in hopes of feeding this delicious smelling nugs. If anyone is actually reading this and you think thats a bad idea, then please share your comments as I am a novice and sort of just running on my gut at this point. The leaves around the nugs are starting to frost up. The smell is unreal right now. The smell of fine cheese and sweet blueberry comes to mind.. :) . I have been removing some fan leaves with the purpose of helping the sun reach the nugs a bit better. Hard to believe that in 2 weeks ill be flushing... Kind of scary as these nug's have a lot of growth to do.

Did you force them into flower? Im at week 7 and havent even shown sex yet and im not expecting them to for another few weeks so for yours to be full bloom at week 8 might explain why your buds are smaller as you say. They look good im just not familiar with your length of season ect you may want or need smaller plants but I try and get 5-6 foot

Hi there mate they are looking lovely!! A real credit to you 😀 As the buds develop they will get heavier putting extra weight on those branches. I would consider placing a couple of 1-1.5 metre stakes into each pot to act as a support for your girls as they grow. Best of luck mate 😀

They are doing just fine. Look at them , they are reaching for the sky 👍 means your watering is on point and they are loving life. I would recommend and I'm quite familiar with Green Planet nutrients, get some supplement to the lineup. Liquid Weight and Massive will give you the added boost to produce bigger buds. At a minimum you should be introducing Massive now for the next 4 weeks. Keep doing what you are doing 👊

Buds are beginning to grow a little more. Also, some pistols have turned from white hairs to red hairs. Scent is stronger and mainly just a cheese smell now. I have done a good defoliate to allow buds to get more sun and air. 4ml every other day will continue for the next 7 to 10 days before I begin flushing the plants. I have hurt and broken 2 limbs off Girl #1 whole being careless with the tomato cages. We will see how they do. If they don't repair themselves I will take them off and experiment dry with them. I’ve prepped and put together my dry room. I am not feeling confident with my 30X jewellers loop. Gonna use it in its final days and also go on my gut as well as any feedback I receive from fellow growers on here. Does anyone have any predictions on harvest time? Does anyone have any predictions on quantity? Buds seem small to me. However, I have noticed people who grow this strain by @dinafem generally have a huge growth in buds from weeks 8 to 10.

These buds are fattening up nicely and they are becoming frosty and more so, by the day. I will recommend @dinafem Blue Cheese Auto Flowers any day of the week! These girls have taken a pounding ... animal attacks , storms ... removed from pot and laid on the ground for days before being replanted. Now the humidity is like 95% and holding for the last 3 days. Hotter then hell! Ive been flushing for a couple of days now & im on day 65. I will flush for another 7 days and then consider taking them down. Anyone have any thoughts on this ? What would you do based on the pics ? Kindly!

Day 68-70, Unfortunately, due to circumstances I have to chop these girls in a few days. I wanted another full week to maybe 10 days more. My schedule doesn’t allow it. They smell amazing and the Tric’s are cloudy and I’m hoping by day 72-75 there are a few ambers. Most hairs are now red and orange. Can’t believe how much they’ve fattened up in the last few days ... Flushing daily! No nutes ! For a complete week now. Foliage showing signs that the girls know their life cycle is coming to an end. They appear to now be feeding off themselves. I should be harvesting in 4-5 days . Thoughts?

Thanks for much for the valuable information! Wasn’t sure about tomato cages or any sort of support as I never see anyone doing this on their grows. Also, growing outside is tricky .. it’s like your under constant threat ... hahaha

@Kostecs, I hear ya. I probably check mine 8-10 times a day and I am now worried about the few inch worms and potential aphids that are showing up. I planted some companion dill, marigolds, and sunflowers, but the damn rodents ate all of my sunflower seeds out of the ground. I am going to up my companion plant game next year. Probably some small boxes around the greenhouse with plants that attract beneficial predators of aphids and mites.

Looks like we are battling the same shitty weather here in Ontario. That slows everything down. I put mine out a couple of weeks ago. I guess that will be my first should have, should have waited until the weather was warmer before I put them out. It was a bit of a gamble, I was running out of room though. All in all they should be fine, just some very slow growth until it warms up more. Good luck on your grow!

@BarrieGrower, yes mine took a beat down as well. I’m looking forward to seeing your newest update. Odd growing season in Niagara with a cold Spring and then an instant morph into hellish hot/humid weather.

Hi @Kostecs, the plants are North of Sudbury, it's a bit of a hike there. Plants are looking good and really filling out. One got a beat down from local wildlife, it's probably a deer, I don't think or hope it's not a bear. Cheers!

@Kostecs, No need to thank me boss. It's awesome being able to have a community who loves seeing others grow, and succeed! That's sounds like solid advice which makes sense actually. I'm gonna do that tonight myself before the light goes out!
Kostecs
Kostecscommented6 years ago
@CanuckVetGrwr, thanks a lot man for taking some time to help me out and give your input. What you said does make perfect sense. I decided today to remove a lot of big fan leaves. A successful grower has urged me to give it a shot as my buds could be a bit bigger. He told me now that my nutrients will be more focused on the buds instead of the fan leaves (at least thats the theory anyway).
CanuckVetGrwr
CanuckVetGrwrcommented6 years ago
@Kostecs, You really don't have to remove leaves if growing outside. The sunlight is powerful think about how far it is from us and how hot it can be being so far away. The light will penetrate down still...but I've seen and read a few blogs where people have removed some of the fan leaves. So I think it's a preference thing.

I like the look of your buds for week 8. Frosty. I am likely going to keep growing to day 90-97. Based on Atrain's post about autoflower life cycle https://www.420magazine.com/community/threads/life-cycle-of-autoflowering-cannabis.243982/

@Kostecs, Cool cool. The 73 days was the total number of days growing for seed germination, vegetative, and flowering for my last grow. The low amber trichome count may have been due to my CFL set up and not that I harvested too early. I am not sure, but is why I am considering going a little longer with my current grow. Who knows, I will let the trichomes decide for me I guess...
Kostecs
Kostecscommented6 years ago
@CannaTrope, Do you go by days since you plopped the seed for growth or did you mean 70-73 days of flowering ?

The beginning goes slow the finish goes fast.. my oldest Auto grows 2CM a day, plant doubled in size in less than a week. Best thing to have when growing is patience (which I do NOT have) they will make it. Try to put them inside during nights if it gets lower than 15celcius. Sun even if its behind clouds is still stronger than an indoor growlamp so during the day always put them outside (unless there’s a storm or heavy rain? Do you really give 0.5gl every day? Make sure the soil isn’t to wet. Good luck 👍
CoastGrower
CoastGrowercommented6 years ago
@Kostecs, here it’s around 10-12 celcius at night but at 9 I bring them inside put them under a light till 10 and than dark till morning. This is the first time I’m doing it like that normally I just leave them outside and surely no extra light. I want to see if it will give me a better yield.

@CoastGrower, I have been giving 2cups of water a day (unless it rains). 2X per week I have been giving it .25ml of nutes. This week I will be giving .5ml 2X per week. Cold and shitty today, once again! Thanks for info on inside and outside. Yes, I have been bringing them in at night with the exception of a few nights that were warm. Haven’t watered in days because of the rain. Would like to get some nutes in this evening.

Tour plats are looking great! I would imagine they are the same as indoor, watching the tric's until they reach your personal level of ripe. Not sure if you are looking for a cloudy or partially amber or lots of amber tric's. Looks like some happy growing going on! Cheers

As far as the Trics go... I haven’t looked to hard yet. I see most are milky.. ideally I’d like about 1/3 Amber and the rest Milky. I’m a first time grower and have never used a Jewlers loop before. So it’s a bit of a learning curve..

Day #4, Plant #1 was growing upside down. I’ve never once seen that. The tap root curled up and was going up while the green was popping under the soil. I’ve gently moved it around the popper way by hand. Let’s hope she goes. Plant #4 is greening on the top of the soil about 1cm high. Looks promising.
the end.
