EVD420 Yo, what’s up growmies 🤝
Another one in the lineup.
This is LSD Auto × Chronic Rider Fast BX F1.
LSD Auto is one of my all-time favorites from Barney’s Farm — it has a very unique effect, easily one of my top picks.
On the other side is the legendary Chronic Rider, the backbone behind many of my most interesting phenotypes.
Really curious to see what this cross will bring.
Running 5 plants in 1L pots.
One already showed male traits, so I topped him early to save space.
Let’s see how this one unfolds.

EVD420 Yo, what’s up growmies 🤝
Update on LSD × Chronic Rider Fast BX F1.
Before leaving, one out of five plants showed autoflower traits and started flowering early.
That plant was moved into a 12/12 box to continue flowering separately.
After returning, I noticed that the male plant was actively releasing pollen under an 18/6 light cycle, which strongly suggests that this male is also autoflowering.
I collected a sufficient amount of pollen, preserved it, and then removed the male plant.
At this point, 4 plants remain.
While I was away, the remaining plants stretched into the light and experienced minor top burn.
The damage was not critical, but the burned leaves were removed, and the plants were cleaned up thoroughly.
After that, the plants were moved into the flowering box, defoliated, and switched to flower.

EVD420 During this reporting period, the line underwent structural maintenance.
All plants were defoliated and cleaned of excess branches to maintain airflow and structure.
The population appears generally uniform in morphology and growth pattern.
One exception:
• Plant #3 expressed autoflowering traits and is currently in week 3 of flowering, progressing independently from the main photoperiod group.
The remaining plants continue vegetative development under control conditions.
Further observation will determine consistency and trait stability across the line.

EVD420 During this reporting period, structural correction and controlled pollination were performed.
All plants were topped (apical control) — this was finalized to ensure uniform canopy management.
Excess leaves were removed to improve airflow and light penetration.
Pollination Work
• Plant #1 was pollinated with LSD × Chronic Rider pollen (same line).
This will produce an F2 generation, expected to reveal broader phenotypic segregation and genetic diversity within the cross.
• Plant #2 was pollinated with Diesel pollen, introducing an outcross for comparative expression.
• Plant #3 (the autoflowering-expressing plant) received dual pollination:
• One branch pollinated with Diesel
• One branch pollinated with LSD × Chronic Rider
This approach allows parallel evaluation of:
• Internal F2 recombination
• External Diesel influence
• Autoflower trait interaction within both combinations
Seed development phase begins.

EVD420 This week focused on expanding genetic combinations through additional controlled pollination.
Additional Pollination
• Plant #3 (autoflower-expressing phenotype) — one branch pollinated with KUST F3 pollen.
This brings the total number of pollinated branches on this line to three, increasing genotypic diversity.
• Plant #4 — received a second pollination with Diesel pollen to reinforce seed set.
• Plant #1 — pollinated again with LSD × Chronic Rider pollen (line reinforcement / F2 direction).
Breeding Objective
The strategy this week was to:
• Expand internal recombination within LSD × Chronic Rider
• Reinforce Diesel-influenced crosses
• Introduce KUST genetics into the auto-expressing phenotype
While multiple pollen sources are being used, all pollinations are controlled by branch, minimizing confusion during future selection.
Seed development phase continues.

EVD420 Development & Testing
One plant was partially harvested for early testing.
Initial evaluation is ongoing, with occasional sampling to assess effect and early resin development.
Pollination Update
• The branch previously pollinated with Diesel pollen did not result in seed formation.
The Diesel pollen source is now considered non-viable.
Given this, a repeat pollination may be performed later using currently available viable pollen sources.
Current Status
Remaining pollinated branches continue development.
The line remains in flowering with selective breeding adjustments underway.
Monitoring continues for seed set and overall maturation.

EVD420 Development & Testing
This line has become one of the most interesting during the current cycle, and several flowers have been sampled for early testing.
A few branches were harvested for evaluation, which explains the partially trimmed appearance of some plants.
Pollination Results
Where pollination was previously performed, seed formation is clearly visible, confirming successful fertilization.
Flower Observations
Some flowers are developing particularly attractive structure and appearance at this stage.
The plants are now receiving more available space and resources, which may be contributing to improved flower development.
Current Status
The line continues through flowering with both flower production and seed development underway.
Final evaluation will be made closer to the end of the bloom cycle.

The aroma is strong and pronounced, with noticeable diesel notes.
Flower Development
Flowers are dense, visually appealing, and show a good level of trichome production.
Seed Development
Seeds (where present) are already fully matured and ready for harvest.
Current Status
The plant has been transitioned to pure water (flush phase).

EVD420 Harvest
• Plants #2, #3 and #8 were harvested last week after spending one week on pure water.
All were pollinated:
• one crossed with Diesel
• one within the line
• Plants #4 and #7 were harvested this weekend, allowing them additional time to mature.
Phenotypic Observations
No particularly standout traits were identified in this run.
• Semi-dense flowers
• Weak aroma profile
• Mature trichomes present, but without exceptional expression
Result
The cycle is completed.
While the current run did not reveal strong phenotypic highlights, the line remains promising for further work.
Next Step
In the next cycle, focus will shift to more targeted selection and refinement of this line.
EVD420 Flower Quality
Despite pollination, a portion of the plant produced usable, well-developed buds.
* Buds lean strongly toward the LSD phenotype
* Dark green coloration
* Light diesel aroma
* Very high resin production
Trichome coverage is exceptional, with some areas showing visible resin droplets, indicating strong resin output.
Seed & Breeding Pool
Several cross directions were successfully created:
* LSD × Chronic Rider × Diesel
* LSD × Chronic Rider × F2 Autogen
* LSD × Chronic Rider × KUST
This resulted in a diverse breeding pool for future exploration.
Result
The cycle is completed.
In addition to seed production, this line also delivered high-quality flower, making it one of the more balanced outcomes of the run.
