MontanaManMedical She popped a few days after planting, though I could tell that she was beginning to emerge after about 48 hours. As you can see from the pictures, she already has a healthy root.

MontanaManMedical She’s really beginning to take off! The leaves look healthy and large, leading me to up her nutrients. I’m sticking to my schedule of putting her in flowering next week. I think she’ll be the perfect size by then. I have a trellis net on the way for the flowering tent, which should help fix one of the few problems I was having with that tent.

MontanaManMedical She stretched by 6 inches in a week. Pretty good considering it’s an Indica. I did a bit of lollipopping as well. So far the whole plant looks healthy and I’m already seeing the signs of flowering.

MontanaManMedical Did a bit of defoliation to expose more of the canopy to the light, and the plant has responded positively. I did it in stages to minimize shock to the plant. With that out of the way, the plant is free to stretch a bit more, though it’s already starting to produce buds.

MontanaManMedical She’s finally finished stretching, but boy did she stretch! I re-calibrated my PH probe and discovered it was reading 0.5 high. I will now re-calibrate every 3 months. Combining that with some very careful defoliation, has resulted in very vigorous growth. As you can see in the pictures, the bud sites are developing rapidly. This is beginning to look really nice.

MontanaManMedical She’s gaining weight and getting frosty really quick. The correction to the PH the other week gave the plant renewed vigor. I imagine she’d put on a lot more weight if I had a bigger tent and more powerful light to shine on her, but it’s still impressive. No scent yet.

MontanaManMedical Growth is steady, with even a little more stretch from the lower branches. I removed a few more fan leaves, but nothing major. I’m going to let this go to 10 weeks, as judging by the maturity of the buds at this point, it’s going to take an extra week. This actually works out, as it gives White Rhino another week to veg, and keeps me from having to harvest two plants on the same weekend.

MontanaManMedical I removed a few more fan leaves, with the big two under the main cola being the most noticeable. The plant has responded well, with multiple branches stretching upwards in the subsequent days. The plant is getting so sticky, that I had to use Gojo to clean my hands after barely touching a few of the sugar leaves with my pinky! 3 more weeks to go, and she’s beginning to put on some serious weight. Next week she gets the CarboFlush, which should get her really cranking out the resin.

MontanaManMedical 2 weeks to go and she’s getting very frosty. The size has increased a little bit even this late in flower, but it seems to be resin production that is accelerating. In keeping with that, I’ve cut down her nutrients, along with feeding her Carboflush. She’s already so sticky, that it’ll be interesting to see the effect that it has on the resin production.

In keeping with that, I’ve dropped the bloom nutrients and have just given her Carboflush. She’s gotten even stickier as she heads into the last 1/2 week or so of flowering. This is shaping up to be a nice harvest.

I waited until Thursday, as I had IRL things to take care of and didn’t want to harvest in the afternoon. Harvesting was relatively quick and easy, with quite a few branches of dense colas produced. Several buds fell off as I was attempting to trim them, so they will be drying on a plate. All in all a very OG Kush like growth pattern to this strain. Very hearty, and showed even more vigor once I got the PH dialed in after re-calibrating the PH probe early in flowering. I’m really excited to see how strong this is. It was pretty sticky, with me needing Gojo to clean off my hands after trimming, despite wearing a glove on my right hand to hold the buds while I trim them with the left.

MontanaManMedical She’s finally ready to harvest! She put on even more resin the final 5 days before harvest. Trimming was pretty easy and it looked like almost every bud is going to be extremely dense.
