MistaOC 20.01. F1
Overview
The first week of flowering started off strong, with the plants transitioning into the 12/12 light cycle without any major stress. Structurally, they are well prepared for bloom and show a healthy overall appearance. However, this week also revealed a heavy thrips infestation, clearly visible through the characteristic small white spots on the leaves.
To counter this, I took action early and applied nematodes via watering on Monday, January 26th. This biological approach should significantly reduce the pest pressure over the coming days and prevent further damage as flowering progresses.
Summary
Despite the thrips issue, this week was mainly about stabilizing the flowering phase and reacting quickly to challenges. Catching the infestation early and responding with nematodes should pay off soon, and I expect visible improvement on new growth going forward. With the plants otherwise looking strong and well-established, the focus now shifts to recovery, consistency, and letting them fully settle into bloom. If all goes as planned, the coming weeks should show cleaner foliage and the first real signs of flower development.

Day 8 of flower and the plants are absolutely taking off. The stretch has clearly started, and they’re growing fast and vigorously — almost like salad shooting upwards overnight. Overall plant health is excellent, with no signs of stress despite the recent issues.
One very positive sign: the plants are slightly praying, which usually means they’re feeling comfortable with the environment and light intensity. The nematodes applied earlier this week should begin showing their effect over the next few days, and I expect the thrips population to be pushed back significantly.
Apart from that, everything is running smoothly and fully according to plan. If this momentum continues, the coming weeks should be very promising.

Day 17 of flower and the Chocolate Waffelz are doing absolutely fantastic. The thrips problem has improved massively, if not been completely resolved. The nematodes clearly did their job, and while I plan to apply another round in about two weeks as a precaution, the plants currently look clean and healthy overall.
The stretch is absolutely insane — honestly, almost unbelievable. At around 103 cm (just over one meter), I had no choice but to step in and apply HST, carefully bending and knocking down the top shoots to regain control. This helped create a much more even and manageable canopy, which was urgently needed. I’ll be very happy once the stretch finally slows down.
Apart from that, everything is running smoothly and exactly according to plan. As a small experiment, I manually watered one plant while the others continue to be fed via the automatic irrigation system. The difference is very noticeable: the hand-watered plant is around 20–25 cm shorter and clearly less voluminous than the automatically irrigated ones. A pretty clear demonstration of how effective automated watering can be.
All in all, the plants are thriving, full of energy, and pushing hard into flower. Now it’s just about keeping things under control and letting them do their thing.

Day 22 of flower and things are looking absolutely world-class.
The stretch is finally starting to slow down. I began applying HST at around 1.03 m, carefully bending the tops to control vertical growth. Without intervention, I’m convinced these ladies would have easily pushed toward 1.30 m or more. The vigor is unreal. The canopy is now much more controlled and evenly distributed — exactly what I was aiming for.
Honestly, this is by far my strongest grow so far. Everything just aligns perfectly right now. The AutoPots are running flawlessly, the BioTabs nutrients are performing exceptionally well, and the genetics from Paradise Seeds are simply outstanding. The plants are powerful, healthy, and full of energy.
There’s not much more to say — it’s one of those moments where you just stand in front of the tent and think: this is it.
I’m beyond excited to see how this finishes. Can’t wait for the end result.

Bio PK 5-8

Day 30 of flower — and this run just keeps getting better.
Today I finally applied Bio-PK. Each plant received 1 liter with 10 ml Bio-PK. Slightly later than the official feeding schedule — maybe 2–3 days behind — but honestly, no big deal. The plants are in peak condition, deep green from top to bottom, no yellowing anywhere — not even in the shaded lower areas. That alone says a lot.
I’m expecting the Bio-PK to give the bloom phase another serious push from here on out. If things continue like this, the coming weeks should be explosive.
I did a very light defoliation today and removed a few leaves that showed minimal signs of powdery mildew. It was extremely minor and fully under control. The environmental conditions simply don’t allow it to spread. Still, I’ll be upgrading airflow soon — two additional AC fans will definitely go in. Prevention is key.
Thrips are completely gone at this point.
And here’s the crazy part: this whole run started as a simple test. I popped a random seed, selected it as a potential mother without knowing what to expect, took clones — and what we’re seeing now are those exact cuttings. A total mystery box… but one that performs on an exceptional level.
Current height: 1.37 meters. Only about 10 cm away from the light. I could raise it a little more, but they’re handling it perfectly. No stress, no bleaching — just pure pressure.
They’re pushing hard. Real hard.
This is, without question, the strongest run I’ve had so far 🌱.
@Mia_BIOTABS, Oh yeah, they’re showing their full sativa power now. I switched to flower early because I had a hunch they might stretch — but honestly, this growth is on a whole different level 🌱
@paradiseseeds, Really appreciate that! 🤩 Huge respect to you — these genetics are showing serious quality. The vigor, the stretch, the leaf size… everything screams top-tier strain. Excited to see how she finishes! 🔝
