PapaTerps Zhampagne - Compound Genetics At the Start of this year, I selected six "premium brand" strains to grow over the next few months. This is the fourth of six - I selected her for her mint candy flavour and her happy and relaxing affects! And can I just say, props to Compound Genetics for the amazing packaging, stunning work guys 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Day 1 - I selected a seed from the jar and placed it into a cup of water pH'd to 6.3 with a temperature of 22 degrees Celsius. I'm using the floating method here, so I will let the seed float in the cup for a few days until a taproot appears from the seed. 👍🏻 Day 9 - she had a bit of a slow germination period, probably because of the cold weather, but she has finally appeared from the soil, looking strong and ready to grow🙏🏻 Day 13 - she's progressing really well, another few days and she'll be ready to be transferred to her main grow pot🤞🏻

PapaTerps Zhampagne - Compound Genetics Day 18 - watered with 200ml of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, mixed in order and then pHd to 6.3. I've been really busy the last couple of week, so I haven't had a chance to give this little one the attention she deserves, so she is still in her starter pot, but I moved her from the humidity dome to the grow tent a couple of days ago - I will be transferring her into her main grow pot over this weekend and that should allow her to start stretching a bit; right now she is growing very slowly... Day 20 - today I've transferred her from her starter pot, into her main grow pot, a 16L fabric pot. I've watered her with 500ml of RO water with nutrients, pH'd 6.3.

PapaTerps Zhampagne - Compound Genetics Day 34 - watered with 1l of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, mixed in order and then pHd to 6.3. She is growing well, but slowly. I've removed just one fan leaf from the top of her main stem, to allow light to reach the lower budsites, to encourage them to grow. I plan on topping her at some point, but she's too small for that now, so id say it'll be another few weeks before shes ready to start her flowering cycle.

PapaTerps Zhampagne - Compound Genetics Day 41 - watered with 1.5l of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, mixed in order and then pHd to 6.3. She was topped a few days ago and has grown a nice even canopy so far, which I'm really happy about! She's just about ready to start the 12 hour light schedule, I've started to add extra nutrients into her feed and I've upped the water volume; another couple of days in veg and when the RS11xBananaOG is ready to be harvested, this beaut will take her place in the flowering tent 🙏🏻 Day 43 - she has been moved into the flowering tent, so today is her first day on the 12 hour light schedule 🙌🏻 She should be starting her stretch over the next few days, so for now, I'll just let her grow with minimal defoliation and training to minimize stress 👍🏻

PapaTerps Zhampagne - Compound Genetics Day 49 - watered with 2l of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, mixed in order and then pHd to 6.3! She has been on a 12 hour light schedule for about a week now and has just about started her stretch! She is just below the canopy of the other plants in the tent, because they have all shot up in the last few days, so I'll have to prop her up with a box or two to get her up to canopy height. But other than that, she is performing really well! The week before and during the stretch phase, I tend not to defoliate or train my girls, as I want to reduce as much stress from them as possible, to give them the best chance of growing and stretching - so for now, I just feed and let her grow 💪

She has stretched really well and has started developing her flower! I've removed her lowest most nodes and leaves to improve overall airflow in the grow tent, and because these nodes will not mature at the same rate as the budsites at the top of the canopy 👍🏻

She has finished her stretch pretty quick, so very lollipopped her up to about 3-4 nodes from the canopy, I've also removed any redundant fan leaves that were too low or covering nodes. Pretty impressive bloom so far, she's the tallest in the tent and is catching up with the ZodaZa, which was a couple weeks ahead of her🎉 She's had a good amount of stress put on her this week, so the plan for now is to just let her recover and grow 🙏🏻

PapaTerps Zhampagne - Compound Genetics Day 77 - watered with 3L of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, mixed in order and then pHd to 6.3. 🚿 She has been working hard on bulking her flower this week and has dried back much faster, so I've increased her water volume from 2 to 3 liters 💪🏻 The breeder suggested that this one finishes pretty quick and by looking at her flower, she looks a lot further along than week 5 of bloom! 🌸 Not much work on her this week, I just removed a couple of fan leaves to improve light penetration, so for now, I'm just going to let her work on developing her bud 💪🏻

PapaTerps Zhampagne - Compound Genetics Day 84 🚿 She was watered twice this week, with 3L of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, mixed in order and then pHd to 6.3. No alterations in feeding this week as she is still bulking 💪🏻 ✂️ She has been working hard on bulking her flower again this week, and her flower is huge! I'd say she'll be ready for harvest in the next couple of weeks! No work required on her this week, as her internodal spacing and low leaf count has made her super easy to manage! 🙌🏻 🌸 Her flower has grown so quick, you can almost see the finished product! It's so cosmic looking, with shades of deep green contrasted with the white pistils and hints of dark purple on her sugar leaves - she's spectacular!! Her aroma is also present, very menthol sweet with a hint of biscotti - I can easily say that this one of the best smells I have ever experienced in plants!! 🌸🌸🌸

PapaTerps Zhampagne - Compound Genetics Day 93 🚿 She was watered twice this week, with 3L of RO tap water pH'd to 6.5. She has begun her flushing stage and is now only receiving plain water, she is currently drying back and will be harvested in the next few days! ✂️ No work on her this week, she isn't very bushy and she is nearing the end of her lifecycle, so the next time she will see my scissors will be harvest day 🙌🏻 🌸 She has big dence flower that bulked up so quick and has now spent the last couple of weeks maturing! The majority of her trichomes have turned milky clear, but some of her pistils have yet to fully mature - I think she will be ready for harvest this week, but I will wait until she has fully matured before I cut her down 👍🏻

Not the biggest yield, but that was expected as I only vegged her for 3-4 weeks. Her flowering period was so quick too, if I was to grow her again, I'd probably veg her for 6 weeks with two toppings and more training to get a big yield from her! I cut her down and performed a wet trim, removing all stems/leaves and trimming all her sugar leaves down. She will now be dried in a dark cool room with the RH at around 55%, for 7-10 days. She will then be put in jars and cured for about a month smoke report to follow

PapaTerps Zhampagne - Compound Genetics Day 100 - Harvest Day 🎉 🚿 No watering this week, she was left to dry-back after around ten days of flush👍🏻 ✂️ I gave her a good defoliation at the start of the week, and today I performed a wet trim on her, removing as much foliage as possible and trimming the trichome-less parts of the sugar leaves 👍🏻 🌸 She has big dence flower that bulked up so quick and has now spent the last couple of weeks maturing! The majority of her trichomes have turned milky with some amber and the only non-amber pistils are protruding from newer growth, so I'm happy to harvest her today 🙌🏻
