MrTerpenuer Germination didn’t go great to start with. Poor pop rates and the seedlings that did emerge were slow and weak. Pretty sure I ran into damping-off early on.
One seedling was really struggling, so I pulled it out and found it had almost no roots left, looked like the root had basically rotted away. Nothing I was trying was helping, so before binning it I decided to repot it into fresh coco.
Worth noting: the coco I originally used was years old, which in hindsight was probably the main cause. After repotting into fresh medium, the plant actually recovered, started forming new roots, and growth slowly picked back up.
Lost a bit of time early on, but the seedlings that survived pulled through fine in the end.
I germinated 3 Nori Cake beans around 10 days after I germinated the Kings Juice as I thought the 2 seedlings wasn’t going to survive!
I’m a new grower, so this was all part of the learning process. Definitely learned the importance of fresh medium, light watering, and patience during the seedling stage.
Onwards and upwards from here.

MrTerpenuer Overview:
Week one was fairly quiet with minimal visible changes overall.
King’s Juice #3:
• Continued to grow steadily
• Developed its first proper set of true leaves
• Showing early signs of healthy establishment
King’s Juice #1 & #2:
• Both seedlings that experienced damp-off issues failed to recover
• Growth completely stalled and plants became fully stunted
• These were considered unsuccessful starts
New Germination:
• A Lemon Orange seed was germinated to replace losses and keep numbers on track
Notes:
• No major environmental or feeding changes this week
• Focus remained on monitoring moisture levels closely to avoid further damping-off

MrTerpenuer King’s Juice #1 & #2:
• Both plants remained stunted with no noticeable new growth
• No signs of recovery observed
• These continued to be monitored but expectations for survival remained low
King’s Juice #3: reported in coco media
• Continued to grow steadily
• Showing consistent development compared to the other two King’s Juice plants
New Germinations:
• Due to low confidence in the survival of King’s Juice #1 and #2, additional seeds were germinated as a precaution
• Germinated:
• 1× Lemon Paya (free seed)
• 3× Nori Cake
• 1× Lemon Orange
• All newly germinated seeds showed a 100% success rate, exceeding expectations

MrTerpenuer King’s Juice #1 & #2:
• Both plants began to show recovery after being repotted into fresh coco
• Growth resumed slowly following the transplant
• Early signs suggested the fresh medium helped relieve earlier stress
King’s Juice #3:
• Continued to thrive and grow vigorously
• Significantly larger than the other two King’s Juice plants
Grower’s Decision:
• Due to King’s Juice #3 outpacing the others, it became clear it would need to be topped fairly low
• This was planned to slow its vertical growth and give King’s Juice #1 and #2 time to recover and catch up

MrTerpenuer Overview:
Week four was a steady, uneventful week focused on maintaining plant health and balance.
King’s Juice #3:
• Topped this week to slow vertical growth
• Decision made to help level the canopy and allow the other King’s Juice plants time to catch up
All Other Plants:
• Continued to grow slowly but consistently
• No new issues observed
• Overall health remained stable

MrTerpenuer Overview:
Week six focused on repotting, improving the grow tent setup, and testing different systems.
Repotting & Tent Maintenance:
• All plants were repotted this week
• The grow tent was cleaned and tidied up
• Added a drain tray; only a 4×4 tray was available, so a 5×5 tray will be added later when possible
Environmental Control:
• Added an AC Infinity humidifier to help stabilise humidity levels
• Installed a space heater connected to a thermostat temperature sensor plug to better control night-time and overall temperatures
Side Planting:
• Me and my daughter planted two rhubarb plants and one corn plant
• These were placed in the grow tent during the vegetative stage
• They will be removed before the plants are flipped into flower
Watering System:
• Set up an automatic watering system using a reservoir and pump
• The pump was unable to handle the number of outlets required
• The system was eventually scrapped and hand watering was resumed
