George became Bush (Outdoor Banger)

Itashish A little update on my favorite from outdoors, after 2 years without growing it, here it is in F5 version. Seed given by Juju. It will be used for indoor and outdoor cultivation. I will take several cuttings, one for mother plant preservation and others for an indoor harvest. The plant that has germinated will go outside when it has a more substantial size and better outdoor weather. Potted in geotextile for better substrate drying since it doesn't like having its roots soaking in water, it's better to take precautions. The leaves are looking freaky right from the cotyledons, it's looking good!

Itashish It's starting to grow well, I feel like the f5 seems to have more vigor in the early days than the f4. And the leaves also seem to have more trichomes, I can already tell it's going to smell a lot 👌 It has a nice leaf formation, can't wait to see what happens next! I added fresh nettle leaves and leaves from a cannabis plant that had excess nitrogen, chopped up as mulch, and I added a layer of chips on top to provide a slow release of nitrogen. Itashish She's doing well. She had a slight light intensity issue and a little overwatering. I did some topping to start the bush training. She's starting to have nice branching, which bodes well for the future. I put an example of the "bush training" in the last photo.

Itashish George has become a bush! George is starting to do well, he's continuing to grow steadily, I still haven't fed him, to avoid him getting too big, we don't want it to stink up the whole city during flowering 😮‍💨 Second topping done with training for bush formation. The roots are starting to colonize the whole pot. There's a nice smell coming out, the pheno smells stronger than the f4 from 2024. It clearly smells like good weed, it's definitely going to turn out beautiful!

Itashish George is doing well, he was repotted into a bigger pot and had a little BDSM session. He's strengthening his branching, producing growth at the nodes, which is greatly appreciated. He still smells amazing, the season is going to be fantastic!

Itashish She's doing well, she really enjoys being outside, handles the cold and big temperature swings well. 😁 Just a little observation, some slugs went over her and she wasn't eaten (slime trails in the last photo), it was the same for the F4, the plant doesn't seem to attract the slimy ones which is very nice! I took 4 cuttings and continued the training for bush formation. There are currently 14 hours of sunlight where I am, so there might be a chance she'll start flowering, I'll see in the next few days if that's the case, I'll only trim part of the harvest and she'll go back into reveg when the days get longer. 😁👌

Itashish George is doing well, he experienced a slight defoliation and a little BDSM session 😈. He's handling big temperature changes; at night it can drop to 2 degrees and in full sun, the heat rises to 35 degrees. These big fluctuations can only be beneficial for him. I've added the temperature (in the shade), humidity, UV index, and wind for the day at the end of the photos. In the two photos before the environmental data, you can see the scars on the trunk from when I crushed it to stress it and slow down its growth. Some leaves have "burn" tips, but I don't think it's nutritional; I think it's more due to water stagnation after a night rain since I watered it the day before, plus a possible cold snap at night. Next week, I'll be pruning all the apices. The bush formation is looking good. No flowering in sight despite the short sunlight cycle. Let's grooooow! And big up to Khalifa and their crazy work, the more I grow, the more I appreciate it! I would have loved to participate in the auto freak contest, I saw the competition too late, next time! 🌱

Itashish George Bush is doing well, there have been several days of rain and he enjoyed that. The sun is starting to come back strong, it makes him lush. When I can, I do the training so that the branches are always well lowered. Topping done on all the apices, the branching is going to be explosive now, I'm going to leave him alone for a good 2/3 weeks so he can develop strongly. As soon as I can, I will start watering him with nettle and aloe vera FPJ diluted in willow water.

Itashish Frosty is doing well, the heat is starting to be very abundant. I pruned all the flowering nodes and left only the apex doubling, the flowers are slowing down in growth, I think the reveg is happening. I repotted it at the same time in a large geo textile with homemade potting soil. For mulch, there are different types of peels, wood chips, and grass for slow nutrient release. I watered it all with a mix of FPJ made from nettles and the other from comfrey.

Itashish Here are some photos of George! 🤣 He has become ridiculous since the last time, but there's an explanation for all this! After week 15, the country where I am had a big phase of rain, and constant rain means slugs. The myth of Frosty not attracting slugs has been debunked 😢, I had a lot of attacks on the lower nodes, the problem is that it broke all the symmetry I had worked on for several weeks. So, I was radical and removed all the branches, leaving only the symmetrical part. Now he has a very weak mass of foliage, but with good growth since the return to vegetation after flowering, I will leave it as is and not disturb it so it can grow back strong. The branching is very abundant; you can feel the strong sap rising from the trunk pushing the growth. 😁🚀 I also think that the return to vegetation must have taken time due to repotting; there was no overall growth for more than 2 weeks, which means it had to develop at the root level. ? Aside from that, everything seems to be going well with the soil; I’m feeding the mulch quite regularly. I added apple pulp with peels, wood chips, young hazelnut shoots, fig and vine leaves, clover stems, grass, and worm guano. There is a beautiful richness of life such as mycelium, worms, composting mites, pill bugs, springtails, and many other beneficial insects. 🐞 🍄 I took advantage of trimming the stems to check the inside of the trunk, and I observe that there are no hollow stems, which means, according to slownickel the goat, that it’s not lacking in boron and calcium! 🌱 The rains are gone, and the sun is back in force ☀️ I can’t wait to follow the next weeks of this growth; there are approximately 2 months left before the start of the autumn flowering, and a lot can happen in 2 months. 🧟‍♂️ I wish you all an intergalactic and terpene-rich grow! 🚀🌱

Itashish New week for George, the growth is starting to be explosive and beautiful in branching. I thought I’d leave it alone but I couldn't help myself and did a heat apex trim and a little training to encourage the branching😁🌱 The new tops and leaves look very healthy.🍀 I added hay on the old mulch to maintain moisture with the big ones. Currently in full sun with temperatures up to 50°c but it doesn't seem to bother the buddy too much.👌☀️ Still no watering since the rain, the soil is starting to get dry, I’m going to have to feed it water with sugar for the microbial life.🍄 I took the opportunity to post other plant photos from the garden which includes 3 babies from terpyz mutant, some roses, a Brussels sprout plant in seeds, a tomato/vine plant, Moroccan mint, a mescaline cactus seedling from shaman garden strain: DBA Silvia x TBM A, and a freshly received cutting of salvia divinorum. ?🌿🌹 I wish you all happy growing and deliciously enchanting terpenes.😁👌 By the way, sorry for the photo quality, my usual phone is broken.

Itashish Repost from the day after week 20, I tied down the stems to allow Georges to develop, so we can see better how much he has grown and his branching. He tripled in size in 8 days. He is recovering well since his stress from the slug attack. I watered with 5 liters of rainwater mixed with 2-year-old fermented nettle tea to give him a nitrogen boost. I added photos of some small plants from Terpyz and some ABC F1 that I made in outdoor 2025, as well as a photo of my beautiful Trooper rosebush and a F3 tomato plant that I'm forcing to strengthen against rain, drought, and mold. It's the first time it's growing this strong and doesn't have any mold; the other two years it was completely affected but still produced fruit. I collected the seeds and replanted them in the same spot. I removed some leaves from the base and a bit everywhere to see if it doesn't get sick with the scars. We'll see if it holds up well during the rainy season at the end of summer; the flowers are starting to fruit. In any case, there's clear progress compared to its parent. The adaptation to the climate is happening faster than expected.

Itashish Hey everyone, Georges Bush is finally starting to regain some volume since he got munched on by the slugs! The trunk is healing well from the attack, you can still see some marks but they're fading little by little. I removed the training since the dog tends to want to stick his nose in the soil to smell the scents. The problem is that it was pulling the wires and in doing so, it cut off several apices; I counted 6 that were decapitated! You'd think the pitbull wanted to get in on the planting too. High stress from the dog. The growth is vigorous and producing a lot of branching. I regularly add food to the mulch like apple pulp, all kinds of peels, or green matter from various sizes in the garden. There's all sorts of life in the soil. Part of my Belgian roots made it so I had to give it a good beer diluted in water for watering (the worst part is I don't even drink it). I know it's not ideal but it's tradition. He appreciated it nonetheless! I also added to the mulch some waste from a fermented fruit/plant juice I made with apples, clover, fig leaves, vine leaves, and willow; I also dumped an old seedling soil pot on top of the mulch. It's starting to have a nice layer of food of all kinds. I watered with the fermented juice accompanied by putrefied nettle manure that I kept for over 2 years to mellow it out. He seems to appreciate everything I give him; he's greedy and wants to be stuffed, that little rascal. It annoyed me a bit that he got munched because I wanted to train him into a big bush, but he's catching up a bit; there's still July and August for vegetation, he won't have the mass I was expecting for the whole growth period, but he won't be too shabby either. Itashish Everything is going well, Georgio is developing wonderfully, always explosive growth, holds up well to temperature spikes over 50°C in full sun with humidity below 20/10%. Watering with plain water this week while waiting for the next feeding. I put a circle to LST a bit the outer branches and force the branching. Itashish Georges is doing well! The temperatures have been getting more pleasant lately, which will relieve the plants a bit. The vigor is still there; I removed the binding now that the stems are well spaced. For the tallest branches, I did an apex cut and pinched the trunk to train them in order to harmonize the plant's structure. Photo 11/16 mulch made from carrot peels, potato, onions, garlic, and an avocado skin that I dried in the oven and blended. In this mix, I added powdered spirulina, brewer's yeast, eggshell calcium, and castor bean shell ash to provide a slow nutrient release. Photo 16/20 ferment made with some young nettle shoots, part of a male cannabis plant, rose flowers, aloe vera regrowth, and a shoot from a prickly pear cactus. I let all this macerate in the leftover of an FFJ/FPJ that was made from apple mash, fig leaves, hazelnut leaves, and brown sugar. Itashish Hehe it's been a while since I posted, nothing new to say except that everything is going well. I did an apex trim on the top buds and I did some trunk pinching on the outer branches to train them. I also did a major defoliation. Any leaves exceeding the size of my palm were removed. The stretch should be coming soon. Just a few burnt tips on some leaves, probably due to the castor bean shell ash, I must have overdone it. According to some growers, it's better to use 4x less than the recommended dose from the supplier and adjust if needed. The soil is doing well; when I lift the mulch, I see a mass of roots. It looks like the pot is completely colonized, which is good news. There's also a lot of life in the mulch. Can't wait to see what happens next in this adventure.
