macejjr Hello everyone. I started growing my first indoor grow. I already tried growing few years ago, but it never turned out good. I tried growing outside but always got bud rot (I live in very humid area). Since growing is now fully legal in my country, I decided to grow some weed myself - indoor in controlled environment so I don't waste my time again. 😄 Also me and my partner decided that it would be nice to propagate some tomatoes and bell peppers inside the tent, so for now, they are sharing the tent and light together😁

macejjr Transplanted the peat pellet into 12.5l airpot. I didn't fully filled the airpot on purpose - when the substrate settles, I will fill it with a bit of soil and top with small layer of clay pebbles. Not sure if it's worth it, but I've read that it can mitigate the water evaporation a bit (still using airpot so I guess it won't matter, but it will look nice and I got some clay pebbles at home) 😄 I've set the light according to manual. Added small fan into tent to move the air inside. Not using the carbon filter / exhaust fan atm as it's not neccesary. Keeping the tent unzipped during the day, so it doesn't overheat and have some fresh air. Dilluted BN roots into spray bottle and giving all plants few sprays a day to keep the soil moist. Watering with 250 ml tap water + small drop of BN Roots and adjusted PH to 6.2 - in circles around the seedling. Week 1 lasted from Thursday to next Sunday - so this diary will be by calendar weeks, not by seedling weeks.

macejjr Week 2 Day 1: Still using only small quantity of BN Roots for watering in circles around the plant. Adjusted the height of the light. Plant started to smell a little so I switched on the exhaust fan with carbon filter. Transplanted bell peppers and tomatoes into bigger pots. Day 2: First time using nutrients - 1/3 of the normal dose of Autoflower Supermix, normal dose of stimulators. pH 6.5, EC 0.4 mS/cm. Increased light intensity from 40% to 50% and temporarily decreased light cycle to 16/8 so tomatoes and bell peppers have more time to recover from transplanting. Day 3: Since increase to 50% light intensity showed no signs of stress, I increased the light intensity to 60% + changed light height by about 2 cm. Soil still moist, so no need to irrigate. Day 4: Lightly tied the plant to the pot - starting LST. Day 5: Surprisingly, nothing special happened. Day 6: Starting to give full power nutrients. Day 7: CaMg (soft water here) + Si + water

macejjr This week, only LST has been done and watering. EC measured on runoff water was pretty high, so I decided to water only with plain water (with adjusted pH ofc). Bell peppers and tomatoes are almost ready to be transplanted again into their final pots.

macejjr This week again only LST and watering with plain water with adjusted pH (EC at runoff was still quite high, so I don't want to burn her). Pistils have appeared and starting flowering phase. No signs of stress or any symptoms, looks quite good to me. Leaves are a bit droopy sometimes, but I assume that's because of lower humidity in the room (around 35 - 40% RH).

macejjr I've started feeding the nutrients, but apparently there are some nutrients problems. I started giving very small amounts from the feeding schedule and slowly increase because the plant showed signs of nitrogen deficiency.

macejjr I started giving full feeding chart nutrients, something is wrong with the plant - everything points to the nitrogen deficiency, but I measured pH and EC of the runoff water and pH is 6.5, EC is over 3.0 mS/cm - so technically it should be overfed, but lower leaves are still yellowing and becoming crispy. I started removing the very dry ones. If anybody knows what could be the problem, let me know.

macejjr Looks like the lower leaves are still drying, although buds are fattening at least a bit. After some research I found out that very dry air can cause problems that look like nutrient deficiency / nutrient lockout symptoms / nutrient burn (burned tips). I bough humidifier and set it to keep humidity at 50% level, even though the plant cannot be probably saved anymore. There are some buds growing and the leaves are pale green, so I hope I get at least something from this grow. Question: Is it worth to let it finish or just throw it away and start from the scratch? I don't want to waste electricity to get like few grams of shitty weed.

macejjr Leaves are starting to yellow faster than before. Removing old dry leaves. Trichomes are still quite clear, some are cloudy, but I've seen only few amber yet - I'm heading for 40-50% amber as I prefer sleep effect... EC of the runoff water was quite high, therefore I will start flushing from the next watering.

macejjr Buds are purpling, environment is quite dry at the moment (there is a big drough and it hasn't rained outside for almost a month, so generally humidity stays at 30-40% inside the tent). Started flushing using only BN-Zym and Vitasol + Calmag - I suppose there is a huge salt buildup because of difference in EC in runoff. Input was 0.7 ms/cm, measured runoff was 1.6 ms/cm, so I will keep flushing. If it gets too low, I will add light nutrients. Trichomes look quite clear to me, few of them are cloudy and I didn't see much ambers yet - only some on the sugar leaves, but not on the buds. Sugar leaves around the buds are slowly drying. I assume like a week or two more left.

macejjr Last week I just continued to flush with pH'd water and enzymes to break salts. Leaves are already starting to yellow and sugar leaves are dry. I got jeweler's loupe and could see trichomes much better with it. I cut down the plant on 7th of May, split into multiple buds, cleaned the tent and hung the buds inside. I chose wet trimming due to low humidity in our apartment. I removed the light and put it into the new tent I've bought and continuing with the next grow in the new tent. Exhaust fan remains here until drying gets finished and then will be moved to the new tent as well.

Happy Harvest Day!

I let her ripe quite a lot, smoking brings very relaxing body high and makes me sleepy while not being too much psychoactive. I would say it meets my expectations. Smells earthy + spicy. Plant was very forgiving to my mistakes and yielded quite a lot despite the problems.

macejjr So after 6 days of drying and 10 days of curing, I put the buds on the weight. Clean biggest buds makes totally about 37g, while some smaller untrimmed buds and sugar leaves for topicals are 33g. Generally considering how much troubles I had + it was my first run, it's a very good yield!
