Grand Prixx - Wizard Trees

PapaTerps Grand Prixx - Wizard Trees Hello, Spring is upon us and grows that I had started before and around Christmas are now well into their flowering period or harvested, so I selected a number of strains to start growing for Spring and into Summer. 🙌 Grand Prixx is a hybrid strain by Wizard Trees, a cross of Monaco (I'm assuming a cut from Nine Weeks Harvest) and Tea Time - her taste profile is sweet sour with hints of gas and her effects are happy and euphoric. I selected this one to replace the "Monaco - Nine Weeks Harvest" diary, which failed to germinate 5 times... what attracted me to this strain, was the sweet-sour flavour as well as the happy and Euphoric effects, which again, is something I am missing in my "collection" of "flower" 😉 She has a relatively short flowering time and doesn't grow above 150cm so I will be vegging her for about 4-5 weeks, using a mixture of growing techniques to get a desirable yield, including topping with some low stress training - when she is ready, I will put her onto a 12 hour schedule and let her flower for 8-9 weeks! You're all more than welcome to follow along with my grow, I will try to put as much information about my process without overloading the diary with "too much language" highlighting only the key details from each week! Happy Growing guys! ✊ Link: https://wizardtreesgenetics.com/producto/grand-prixx/ Day 1 - Seed dropped into a cup of water, RO and pH'd to 6.3. She will remain here until the seed pops and a taproot appears. Day 2 - The seed has already popped and a taproot has appeared, 12 hours after I dropped it into the water... I removed water from the cup to the point where the seed was just above the bottom of the cup, so that the seed doesn't fall below the waterline. I will leave her in the cup for another 12 hours to allow the taproot to get a little longer and then I will place her into her starter pot 👍🏻 I've checked the seed again, about 9 hours later, she has an acceptable taproot length and is ready to go into her starter pot! She will remain here until she reaches the vegetative stage, after which, she will be moved into her main grow pot; a 20L fabric pot. I will update this section a few more times to outline her progress 👍🏻 Day 3 - seedling appeared from the soil with the shell still attached, so I removed it along with the membrane - both of which came off very easy! I'll let her grow now for the next few days/weeks until she's ready to go into her main grow pot🙏🏻 Day 5 - she has opened up and has started to stretch towards the light! I'm so impressed with her progress so far, she looks so heavy and is progressing so fast! For now, I will let her grow and I will update this diary again when she enters veg 👍🏻 Day 8 - she's growing really well and is developing her first set of leaves really well! I've moved all the seedlings into larger starter pots, to allow them to grow a bit more before I move them into their main grow pots - this is mainly to buy me another week or two, to finish off the plants that are currently in my veg tent 👍🏻 Day 12 - she has progressed really well and is getting close to veg. In the next couple of days, I will move her into her main grow pot, which will be a 10L fabric pot, with a mix of All-Mix and Light-Mix BioBizz soil, I will also start to introduce bottle nutrients into the feeding schedule, starting off with 250ml and slowly increasing this volume to 2L over the next few weeks. Its funny, because I had chosen this strain to replace the Monaco by Nine Weeks Harvest, because they share the same genetics, but since popping this seed, the Monaco, after several attempts to germinate her seed, finally germinated after spending two weeks in the soil... either way, it'll be interesting to grow both strains side by side and see how they grow 💪
