jen_zee Let me introduce my summer 2026 line-up. Dutch Passion Slush Mint Cake - Seeded Feb 8 Dutch Passion Skywalker Haze - Seeded Feb 15 Zamnesia Hyper Vyper - Seeded Jan 28 (this is more of an experiment) All germinated in makeup-pads, seeded in small coco pots and moved to fabric pots of 30 and 6 liters. The soil mix contains Herbi's Living Soil starter mix and Dynomyco. Watering and fertilizer feeding is automated as much as possible with Blumat dripping system and a Rainpoint irrigation pump. Let the games begin!

jen_zee It is getting bushy in here. So the plants have been slightly defoiled and went through moderate LST. All plants show moderate growth while Slush Mint Cake does not seem to appreciate the additional feeding of nutrients. I put the fertilizer pump schedule on hold for now and ordered a BlueLab PH Pen to be able to monitor more accurately. Let's see where it goes.

jen_zee The plants are doing nicely. I checked PH and it was slightly too high. Corrected it to 6.8 with a couple of drops of BioBizz Bio-Down. Restarted the addition of the fertilizer solution (according to BB-Scheme) with 100 ml over all plants every couple of days. Also some defoiling every couple of days - the plants seem to tolerate it and recover quickly. No new yellow tips with Slush Mint Cake. Hyper Vyper seems to get to the limits of the 6l pot. As the genetics seem not to be the best, I think it may have to leave the family eventually to make some room for its siblings. This time I organized the photos so progress is more visible. What do you think?

jen_zee What can I say? Plants look healthy. No real signs of stress, diseases or bugs. I am happy. Also monitoring and controlling PH seems to be appreciated. Last week was mostly about defoilation. Plants received haircuts every other day. They were quick in terms of recovery. Slush Mint Cake and Skywalker Haze received a top-dressing treatment with one cup of Herbi Living Soil Booster each. This should be a first step towards the switch to 12/12 that I am planning to take in week 10.

jen_zee The BluePen payed off well. All plants really seem to enjoy the PH-corrected water - Another learning from this grow. The slush mint cake seems to be more of a diva when it comes to feeding, showing dark green, droopy fan leaves. I reduced the additional nutrients to the other inhabitants and flushed it with ph-corrected water. 2 days later all leaves were up again and new leaves show a lighter green. Two days ago I switched to 12/12 flowering schedule, changed the adlite setting to red, UV (5 mins every hour of light schedule for now), and IR (15 mins before and after light schedule). - that gave all plants an additional boost. They look very healthy. Yesterday I added a scrog net. Next step is to traint them to fill the net evenly. In a nutshell: Healthy plants - happy grower.

jen_zee Steady progress. I ramped up the main light a little and increased the hourly UV ratio from 5 minutes to 7.5 minutes. mid week I realized the return of the fungus gnats - so I watered with Nematodes again and installed some more yellow traps. Fingers crossed they move out again quickly. First buds started to develop on all plants. Now is the time to monitor for hermanphrodites. Nothing to spot yet. :) I will keep you updated.

jen_zee The kids are alright. They stopped stretching and invest their strength in growing buds now. They smell all different and very good in their own way. Light intensity is set to 80 percent. Adlites still as last week. Skywalker and Slush Mint Cake have been top dressed with Herbi's Living Soil booster again. I really start to like this product more and more. Cheaper than Flo's or Chicken Sh*# and the results look promising so far. I will start defoiling the lower branches soon. No signs of hermanphrodites - I will keep my fingers crossed it stays that way.

jen_zee The last days went unspectacular. All plants do well. Some show some yellow tips. The purple tips are gone after I flushed with ph optimized water and CalMag solution. Somehow quite a population of fungus gnats made themselves comfortable. That is the reason for the many yellow stickers + I watered with Nematodes. Had to clean the Blumat system as some ends were clogged. I increased the amount of light slightly and the maxed the time of the UV bars to 10 minutes per daylight hour. Now to the most interesting news. The buds develop nicely. Slush Mint Cake smells like red bull energy drink. Love that. Hyper Vyper and Skywalker both have their destinctive smell as well. According to the breeder only 4 weeks to go :)

jen_zee Week by week the buds get thicker and more defined. I am patiently waiting for the final outcome. They smell nice - did I say that before? :) Skywalker hat some yellow tips. I will monitor that.
