Iโm very happy to be part of the USA Genetics 2026 contest by Super Sativa Seed Club and grateful for the opportunity. Itโs great to see more initiatives that bring the grower community together to share experiences and learn from each other.
For this run with The Tropical Ice Cream One, I decided to try something new and sow the seed directly into the soil instead of germinating it separately.
I prepared my usual soil mix with Lurpe Super Soil and Bio Nova Microlife.
Looking forward to seeing how she develops in the coming weeks. ๐ฑ๐ฅ

Weโve entered week two, and sheโs developing as expected for these early stages. It might feel like sheโs growing a bit slower, but Iโm not entirely sure.
Iโm hoping she starts to bulk up over the next few weeks. As for watering, Iโm still sticking to plain water with no nutrients for now. ๐ฑ

Another week of vegetation done. I started training last week, and she responded well this week.
Sheโs developing a nice structure and showing no signs of nutrient deficiencies so far โ hope it stays that way ๐๐

Weโve stepped into another week. Unfortunately, Iโve been super busy lately and missed a few waterings. Yesterday I opened the tent and she was really thirsty. She recovered after watering, but you can still tell it stressed her a bit.
She also seems to be starting to show some deficiencies, although Iโm not completely sure if the coloration change came from that watering stress or something else.
Letโs see how she handles the next week and how she reacts from here ๐ฑ

BelSun_420 Hey Growmies,
This journey has come to an end, and with it comes my decision to take a little break from GD.
I havenโt been as consistent with my updates lately, mainly because work has been taking up a huge amount of my time. On top of that, Iโm also looking for a new place to live, so life has been pretty busy overall.
Who knows โ maybe Iโll be back once things settle down a bit, and perhaps with some new growing equipment to play with too ๐ For now, though, itโs time to take a break.
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by, left some love, and followed my grows along the way. Itโs been a pleasure sharing these journeys with you all. ๐๐ฑ
