I honestly have the feeling that she is going to explode over the next few weeks. When it comes to height, she seems to be slowing down now, which honestly makes me pretty happy 😂 Luckily, I am fully protected by the scrog net and can perfectly control and spread out her branches. This allows the entire plant to receive even light coverage and she is developing absolutely beautifully so far. The next phase is going to be especially exciting because this is usually the point where many plants really start packing on bud mass. The development over the last week has been impressive. The buds are getting denser day by day and are now visibly gaining mass. Particularly striking is the enormous resin production. Even now, the sugar leaves are covered with a thick layer of trichomes, giving the plant a frosty appearance early on. Thanks to consistent lollipopping and the SCROG technique, light is optimally distributed. The strong main branches carry numerous flower sites that are evenly spread across the entire plant. Overall plant health is excellent. The leaves show a vibrant green color, and the plant is responding very positively to the current nutrient supply with reverse osmosis water as well as the Canna Mono Calcium and Magnesium components. MrWeeedWorld Week 13 – Flower Week 8 🍈❄️ My Mendo Guava is slowly approaching the finish line and looks absolutely stunning this week. Compared to last week, the buds have gained noticeable size and density. The calyxes continue to swell, and the colas are getting heavier every day. The resin production is simply incredible. Sugar leaves are completely covered in a thick layer of trichomes, giving the plant an extremely frosty appearance. Combined with the beautiful purple hues developing throughout the flowers and leaves, the bag appeal is becoming outstanding. Although many pistils have already changed color, the plant is still producing fresh white hairs. This tells me that she is not completely finished yet and is still actively building weight and quality. Mendo Guava once again proves why she has become one of my absolute favorite strains. Strong genetics, beautiful colors, insane resin production, and an overall performance that keeps impressing me until the very end. Now the most exciting stage of the grow begins. MrWeeedWorld Week 14 – The queen shows her true class. 👑🍈❄️ Wow... every week I think the Mendo Guava can't possibly get any more beautiful – and yet she continues to surprise me time and time again. Now in Week 14, she presents herself exactly as I had hoped at the beginning of this grow. She stands like a true queen in the tent, immediately drawing all eyes with her massive, completely frosted colas. In the past few days, she has gained even more volume. The buds have visibly swollen and now feel rock hard. Especially the main colas look incredibly massive and heavy. Even the lower buds are developing excellently, showing how evenly this genetic has grown. The resin production is simply absurd. No matter where you look – everything sparkles. The buds look as if they are completely wrapped in a thick layer of frost. Even the sugar leaves are nearly disappearing under the white trichome layer. This is exactly the kind of plant that makes a grow unforgettable. Her colors are also continuing to develop. The dark purple sugar leaves create a beautiful contrast to the bright, silvery shimmering trichomes. Together with the orange pistils, every cola looks like a small work of art. I keep stopping in front of the tent and can't help but admire her. The scent is becoming more intense day by day. As soon as the tent opens, an incredibly sweet mix of ripe guava, tropical fruits, and creamy candy notes rushes out. In the background, subtle exotic and fruity nuances develop, making the entire aroma incredibly complex. I can hardly wait to taste her after curing. She is now slowly entering the beautiful final phase. The large fan leaves are increasingly showing their natural autumn colors, while the plant is pouring all her energy into the final flowers. At the same time, a few fresh white pistils are still appearing on some buds – a sign that she is taking a little more time to truly reach her full potential. Like all Guava strains in this run, the Mendo Guava is growing in soil and has been fed with the complete Plagron nutrient schedule throughout her life. Along with the constant 1500 ppm CO₂, a stable environment, and plenty of attention, she has been able to impressively express her genetic potential. This is exactly how I envisioned this run. The finish line is now within reach, but with a plant like this, every single extra day is truly worth it. Better to have a little more patience than to waste even one percent of her potential. With each week, the buds grew larger, denser, and frostier. Now, just before harvest, the colas look absolutely stunning. Thick, rock-hard buds stretch across the entire branches and are covered in a dense layer of sparkling trichomes. The dark purple sugar leaves combined with the bright orange pistils give her a unique look. The natural fade is nearly complete now. This play of colors is exactly what I love at the end of a successful grow. For me, it shows that the plant has put all its energy into the flowers and is now ready for the final step. The aroma has reached an incredible level as well. Sweet guava meets tropical fruits, creamy candy notes, and a slight gassy undertone. The entire grow tent smells like a tropical fruit basket with a hefty dose of diesel every time. I’m particularly impressed with the resin production. Every time I unzip the tent, the smell completely fills the room. The resin production has exceeded all my expectations.
