Besonders beeindruckend ist die außergewöhnliche Farbentwicklung. Die Buds zeigen inzwischen ein tiefes Dunkelviolett bis fast Schwarz und bilden damit einen wunderschönen Kontrast zu den grünen Blättern. Gleichzeitig nimmt die Harzproduktion weiter zu und überzieht die Blüten mit einer immer dichteren Schicht aus Trichomen. Die Pflanze besitzt eine eher offene Struktur, wodurch Regenwasser gut ablaufen kann. Gerade bei längeren Regenperioden ist das ein großer Vorteil gegenüber sehr kompakten Outdoor-Pflanzen. It has been raining all day, yet she continues to stand strong and healthy in the garden. The most impressive feature remains her incredible coloration. The buds have developed deep purple and nearly black tones, creating a beautiful contrast with the surrounding green foliage. At the same time, resin production continues to increase, coating the flowers with an ever-growing layer of sparkling trichomes. Her open plant structure allows rainwater to drain away efficiently, which can be a significant advantage during extended periods of wet weather. While she may not be the highest-yielding plant in the garden, she more than makes up for it with her unique appearance. The dark flowers look almost like sugar-coated forest berries covered in frost. The focus now is on continued flower maturation and bud swelling. It will be exciting to see how much more weight and color she develops over the coming weeks. MrWeeedWorld Heute war endlich Erntetag für meine wunderschöne Strawberry Gorilla RF3. Nach vielen Wochen unter freiem Himmel durfte die Dame heute ihren Weg in den Trockenschrank antreten. Die Bedingungen während des Grows waren alles andere als einfach. Immer wieder machten Regen, hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit und wechselhaftes Wetter den Pflanzen das Leben schwer. Trotzdem hat sich die Strawberry Gorilla RF3 als echte Kämpferin erwiesen. Schon während der letzten Blütewochen entwickelte sie eine beeindruckende Färbung mit tiefen violetten und dunklen Tönen, die von einer dicken Schicht Trichome überzogen wurden. Die Buds sehen aus, als wären sie mit Zucker bestäubt worden und glänzen förmlich im Licht. Was mich jedoch am meisten begeistert, ist ihr Aroma. Bereits beim Ernten strömte mir ein intensiver Duft von frischen Erdbeeren und süßen Früchten entgegen. Jeder Schnitt an den Zweigen machte die Vorfreude auf das fertige Endprodukt nur noch größer. Direkt nach der Ernte wurde die gesamte Pflanze sorgfältig vorbereitet und in meinen Vivosun V-Cure gelegt, wo nun die kontrollierte Trocknung und das anschließende Curing stattfinden werden. Zum endgültigen Ertrag kann ich aktuell noch nichts sagen, da mich ausschließlich das Trockengewicht interessiert. Die Qualität steht für mich deutlich vor der Quantität. Trotz der nicht immer idealen Wetterbedingungen bin ich mit dem Ergebnis mehr als zufrieden. Die Farben, die Harzproduktion und vor allem dieses unglaublich fruchtige Terpenprofil machen schon jetzt Lust auf den ersten Test nach dem Curing. Jetzt heißt es Geduld bewahren und der süßen Dame die Zeit geben, die sie verdient hat. Ich freue mich bereits darauf, nach dem Trocknen die ersten Blüten zu probieren und herauszufinden, was dieses violette Monster geschmacklich wirklich zu bieten hat. After many weeks outdoors, she has now completed her journey and moved into the drying phase. The season was far from perfect, with frequent rain, high humidity, and constantly changing weather conditions. Despite all of that, she proved to be a true fighter from start to finish. During the final weeks of flowering, she developed stunning deep purple colors that became more intense every day. The buds were completely covered in a thick layer of sparkling trichomes, giving them a frosty appearance that looked almost unreal in direct sunlight. What impressed me the most, however, was her aroma. While harvesting, the air was filled with an incredible scent of fresh strawberries and sweet tropical fruits. Every branch I cut released another wave of delicious fruity terpenes, making it difficult not to stop and admire her over and over again. Immediately after harvest, all flowers were carefully prepared and placed into my Vivosun V-Cure, where they will now undergo a controlled drying and curing process. At this point, I cannot comment on the final yield, as I only consider the dried weight to be relevant. For me, quality will always be more important than quantity. Considering the challenging outdoor conditions this season, I am extremely happy with the result. The beautiful colors, impressive resin production, and mouth-watering terpene profile have already exceeded my expectations. Now it's time to be patient and let the drying and curing process work its magic. I can't wait to finally sample this sweet lady and discover how those incredible strawberry and fruit aromas translate into flavor and effects.
