VirginiaGrower This is one that I've been wanting to grow for some time. I was blessed with two free seeds from Fast Buds (Thank you Fast Buds!). She was started with the paper towel method inside of a zip-loc baggie. Once she peeped out of her shell, she was then moved to a rapid rooter lined with myco and placed into a mix of Fox Farm Happy frog, rice hulls, myco and a tsp of silica. As you can see in the pictures, she has her own growth hormones that make for a very tall seedling. She's been a busy little thing as she already has her 2nd set of leaves and has already grown to over 3" tall, at which point I topped with more of the soil mixture, and mounded around her stalk. This at least stabilized her without placing a stake by her. She seems to have slowed her fast growth for the moment, which is a good thing. Once she has 4 sets of leaves, I will more her to her 3-gallon pot which will be her home for the next 2 months. I will up the "standard" amount of DE (Silica) that I add to her pot, hoping to give her stalks more support during her grow. She may also be one that I top in this grow if she continues to grow fast. I have no doubt she will, π

VirginiaGrower I hope to transition her to her forever home in the next day or two. She's droopy, and she could have been over watered, but I don't think so. My gut tells me that she needs to be in better soil. She has definitely done the Tropicana stretch. She was 3 inches, and to give stability, I was able to top her with some additional soil and mounded it around her stem. She is still stretching, but at a much slower rate, and the PPFD/DLI are in check if not at maximums to try to slow the stretch down. I guess we'll see once I get her into her next pot.

VirginiaGrower Since she popped out of her seed, she has had massive vertical growth, which I increased lighting almost to a point to where it was on the verge of being too strong, and then I dialed it back a bit. She finally settled, but not before sometimes reaching 3.5 inches, requiring me to top her with more soil and to mound it around her stem for stability. She is constantly looking like her leaves are lacking water, nutrients, etc, and she has plenty of both, but on overly so. She has just grown so fast, she wasn't even taking the time to take in nutrients until recently. I think we've finally crossed that hurdle, so I'm hoping we have brighter days ahead. On all of my little girls this grow, I will be deploying the technique nicely shown by @hinterhofgrower on his Tropicana Cookies Auto. I love this technique as it's both simple and elegant :-)

VirginiaGrower I have to say, other than stretching right off the bat, which is typical for Tropicana Cookies, she's been a lot more slow going than I would have thought she'd be. She does seem to be in the right place for her age, but just doesn't have any umph, lol. I'm hoping that she is busy with her root system and will kick it into gear in the next week or so.

VirginiaGrower Miss Trop Cookies, seems to be hanging in there, and she is growing. Her PH is definitely in the ballpark of where it should be for her age, but she always seems to either be over watered or under watered, and neither would be accurate. Seeing other pictures, this seems to be her posture. She has been watered to a bit of runoff this past week, as she will be transitioning from Grow to Bloom nutes this next week and I wanted to flush out any salts that may be binding her thus far.

VirginiaGrower This one is very different. Her number are good per her tested runoff, but her leaves are still very papery as they have been from the start and as you can see, she is clawing - also as she has done since the start. Lighting is fine... so just the phenotype that I got... I have one more seed which was sent to me at a different time, so we'll see how that one does, and that'll be the last time I grow this particular strain.

VirginiaGrower She may look a little wonky, but she is all about showing her purple expression, lol! The forming buds from the bottoms to the tops and everywhere in between is showing purple :-) She receives a full feeding tomorrow, so I will update with the latest runoff numbers then.

VirginiaGrower She may have some wonky leaves, but boy is her purple expression pretty :-) This is my first phenome that has turned without adjusting temperatures. She's not a very tidy plant, but she is developing some very nice buds. Her pistils are turning, but her trichomes are still clear, so we are looking at about 2-3 weeks before harvest. I can't wait to see the end result π
That plant signed up for a grow and got a full bondage program insteadβ¦ππ
Respect tho β training looks dialed in πͺ
Sheβs gonna come back strong for sure π
