VirginiaGrower She started her little life in a damp paper towel in a zip-loc baggie. She was a rapid starter, but her taproot and seed were going in the same direction. She was placed in a rapid rooter that had been soaked in myco water and was sliced open and sprinkled with myco. She was then laid inside, closed up and put into soil in a solo cup filled with Fox Farm Happy Frog, mixed with rice hulls (in place of perlite), a tsp of DE, and more myco. She eventually righted herself, and popped through the soil, albeit about 3 days after being placed in soil. She is definitely one that is going to do things her way, and you can like it or lump-it, lol

VirginiaGrower She is doing really well, and she has the smallest of small 4th set of leaves just starting. She will get an upgrade to her solo cup within a couple of days, which is when we will start her on some light nutrients.

VirginiaGrower This week she was moved into her "forever" home, and she's loving it! With this grow, I will be performing the same technique as @hinterhofgrower. I have pinched off the stems off of the very first true leaf nodes, as these tend to be smaller branches with smaller buds, and I'd much rather direct her energy upward to the other branches :-D I will also, continue as he as in his Tropicana Cookies young lady and starting with the 4th node, remove the fan leaves - allowing the other branches to catch up, and the effect is like topping but without HST, but limiting vertical growth. This will continue with subsequent nodes until she decides to turn to flower. Thank you for that video @hinterhofgrower!!

VirginiaGrower She is doing really well. We are doing some light defoliation of the 1st stem nodes on each stem coming off of the main, since it is those that will only develop weak stems and smaller buds, so I've taken them off so that her energy can be directed upward to what will be bigger nodes.

VirginiaGrower I am really impressed with her growth. So far, she has shown herself to be very easy to grow and work with. She will be transitioning this next week from Grow to Bloom nutrients. I can't wait to see what she does :-D

VirginiaGrower She is doing great as her 5th week comes to a close. Her stretching has produced long internodal spacing, which makes things nice for air to get around her, and her branches are thick. I have to be VERY careful with her as I'm trying to keep her semi-close to my other plants in this grow, but she's a beast in her own right, and it would be very easy to snap a branch.

VirginiaGrower She is already starting to stack her buds. She is one of my tallest in this grow and has been really easy. In the beginning, I was going to continue using the Fox Farm Trio, but decided to use the Nature's Living Soil Girl Flower Power instead, which is taking place of the Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom, I am continuing with the Fox Farm Cal-Mag. This is a learning curve for me since it's not a Feed every other watering type thing. She will receive Cal-Mag every watering but only receive the GFP every 7-10 days. Right now, she seems to approve, lol! Light Defoliation of huge leaves and those blocking buds from the light.

VirginiaGrower She has long internodal spacing, which is good for all of those stacking buds. We've had some PH issues (operator error, of course) and she's a little sensitive to those changes, even though she never hit 7.0, but she's coming through just fine :-)
