The two Zamnesia London Pound Cakes are probably the best photoperiod strains I'm growing. Both the one grown without techniques and vegetated a little less than the other (about 3 weeks) are truly beautiful, and the one mainlined without the lst in a 20-liter pot is stunning. The one trained with techniques responded very well to the toppings, is great from the start, and is starting really well. The other one, left to grow freely and beautifully, has everything it takes to become a nice medium/large plant. It didn't vegetate for more than three weeks, but I see it ready to give its best. Feeding // We're still in the vegetative stage right now. You need to look at the plants and decide how much base fertilizer to apply. If they're too dark, reduce or stop watering after 2/3 of the day. If they're too light, apply the maximum recommended dose. Plants with toppers will slow down and therefore require less base feeding. Bread_n_Buds This week I'm showing you the harvest of the first of two London Pound Cakes, which was left to grow as Mother Nature intended, preserving the main cola and allowing you to see it in its natural state compared to the main cola you'll find next week. The plant is truly beautiful, with a beautiful main cola and numerous peripheral flowers with excellent, super-tasty resin. Pot and Soil - This plant was grown in an 11-liter pot with Plagron's BioLight Mix organic soil, which gave us a solid start, and then we proceeded to fertilize. Lighting/PPFD - A Zamnesia Phytonaut 480W LED lamp was used from mid-flowering until fruiting. We achieved a PPFD (photosynthetically active photon flux density) between 800 and 1200 μmol/m²/s, with a cycle of 24 hours, then 23 hours, then 20 hours, and finally 18 hours. All with CO2 to mitigate the effects of heat and excessive light. Bread_n_Buds This week I'm showing you the harvest of the second of the two London Pound Cakes, which was trained with a Mainfolding method, but without any LST bending. Technique Used: We did the first topping at the 5th internode, as per the manual (beforehand, we're talking about microgrowing; the plant can stay short, but it's advisable not to wait that long for autoflowers, for example). We created the Mainfolding by trimming everything after the topping, leaving only the two small branches. We let them grow for three internodes and then topped them twice more. We got several good buds, similar in appearance and of excellent quality. I only trimmed the one that seemed a bit off, a faded greenish color that wasn't getting much light. The plant is truly beautiful; it has opened up like a bush, nice and plump, and the flowers are firm and firm with a distinct sweet aroma that suggests a fantastic taste, something that's not at all obvious these days.
