VirginiaGrower This one is a pleasant surprise fill in. I had just received my Gorilla Z Auto order from Fast Buds, and I had a seed that although she germinated, she wasn't viable. So, now we have our last minute sub-in. She was germinated in a paper towel, and her taproot is small, but I this is a Fast Buds seed, so she'll do just fine, lol. She was put in a soaked (myco and molasses) Rapid Rooter and is now in her forever home - a 3 gallon pot with a mix of FFOF, rice hulls, myco and DE for the silica. Immediately surrounding the rapid rooter is a buffer of Happy Frog, mixed with FFOF, rice hulls, myco and DE. Her roommates have several days on her, no biggie though, she is an autoflower and they do what they want, lol. She has a solo cup rim around her - my marker so I don't over water in such a big pot. She finally popped up through the soil last night. I was able to capture her different "stages", with last picture showing her first set of true leaves. I guess I had gotten her so early, that a portion of the first leaves hadn't had time for the chlorophyll to extend to the ends of the leaves, lol. Happy Growing!

VirginiaGrower I have nicknamed her "Little Gorilla", and I expect that she will be anything but little, lol. She was started in her forever home, so she won't have any delays due to transplanting. She hasn't been given any nutrients yet, and at this time, she's only 1 wk and a couple days old, so she has a little time before getting the big girl nutrients. She has started out strong, and I look forward to seeing what she does :-)

VirginiaGrower Miss Little Gorilla is doing just fine this week. I see signs that she should be entering pre-flower soon. She may be small right now, but I look for her to start expanding quickly and look forward to seeing her growth during the next week :-)

VirginiaGrower At 4 weeks, she's playing with the big girls! My other plants in the same grow are 5 weeks old, and she's competing with her structure and height. Needless to say, she's already into the stretch. Only defoliating to open up her other bud sites.

VirginiaGrower She definitely stretches, lol. She has large internodal spacing, and I had to bend one of her stems, as she was getting so tall, the lights were just getting too far away from the other smaller plants in the tent. I can easily see her going another 4 to 5 weeks. It'll be interesting to see. Right now, she's saying "I'm not going anywhere for a while", lol
