McBubatz Today, April 6, 26, a new journey begins.
Here with the Cherry Crisp from Perfect Tree.
🌿 Plant Description
The Cherry Crisp is a "Frost Machine". Due to the influence of the LA Kush Cake (Seed Junky Cut), it produces extremely compact, almost white flowers that are buried under a massive layer of resin. The plant grows steadily with strong branches that easily support the heavy, golf ball-sized buds. Visually, it is a highlight: dark, forest green leaves contrast sharply with the bright, resin-coated flowers.
💨 Aroma & Terpene Profile
Here, the focus is on the heavy, noble terpene combination that you are looking for:
Foreground: Heavy creamy notes (Kush Cake heritage) paired with a woody pine aroma.
Midground: A distinct sour cherry nuance brought in by the Cherrytini genetics.
Finish: A deep, almost bitter chocolate undertone that lingers in the mouth when exhaling.
🧠 Effects
A very "noble" effect that is more intended for connoisseurs:
Feeling: Deep relaxation and a warm, cozy body sensation.
Mind: Calming, immediately takes away everyday stress without causing confusion.
Use: A classic "nightcap" strain. Perfect for the last glass of wine or the end of the day before going to sleep.
Cherry Crisp (Perfect Tree)
Breeder: Perfect Tree
Genetics: LA Kush Cake (Seed Junky Cut) x Cherrytini
Type: Indica-dominant hybrid
Flowering Time: 8 weeks (approx. 56 – 60 days)
Stretch: Medium (controlled, typical Kush structure)
Yield: High
THC Content: Very high (approx. 24% - 27%)
Difficulty: Moderate (benefits from good airflow due to the dense buds)

McBubatz The Cherry Crisp is now also in the final pot, the first seed didn't want to either, it was open but nothing came out of the soil until today. Well, Nr.2 is fit for that and can now really get started.
In this grow, I'm again relying on BioTabs and Advanced Nutrients mix.
To start, according to the information, the BioTabs components come, one tablet of Voodoo Juice Plus (for all 4 in the tent) and a bit of Great White in the pot or watering water. That's it for the first.
Thanks for stopping by, wishing you a nice week 🍀🌞

McBubatz 2nd week. Cherry Crisp has settled in and looks good so far.
She's getting about 1 liter of water every 3-4 days, currently just with the OG Organics Ancient Earth. I think next week I'll slowly start with a bit of OG Organics Iguana Juice Grow.
Thanks for stopping by, wishing you a nice week 🍀🌞

McBubatz 3rd week, Cherry Crisp isn't really a sprinter 😅, she's growing quite leisurely. I don't know if she doesn't like the large amount of blue light, she looks pretty healthy except that she's quite small 😅, maybe she'll catch up soon.
Thanks for stopping by, wishing you a lovely week 🍀🌞

McBubatz 4th week, the Cherry Crisp seems to have arrived, slowly catching up again, is a bit "stunted" compared to the others but looks healthy so far. If she gains a bit more size, she'll be topped once.
Thanks for stopping by, wishing you a nice week 🍀🌞

McBubatz 5th week. Finally, the knot has burst with the Cherry Crisp and the little one is picking up speed.
After topping a few days ago, she also got a little Advanced Nutrients treatment. Voodoo Juice Plus and B-52 to ease the stress a bit and promote the soil life. Iguana Juice Grow and Tasty Terpenes as a little boost to the BioTabs, which has always been a very good combination so far.
Today she got a light LST but won't be trained as heavily as the others since she's a bit behind, and I hope she can catch up a little.
Otherwise, she looks healthy, with nice dark green leaves and the shoots are also slowly getting stronger.
Thanks for stopping by, wishing you a great week 🍀🌞

McBubatz 6th week, the last week of veg.
Cherry Crisp has really caught up, the treatment seems to have done it good 😄.
A few days ago, I also trimmed a bit from the bottom, which seems to have been well received.
In the next few days, I'll defoliate a bit more before switching to 12/12 and give it some Iguana Juice Bloom and Tasty Terpenes to be well-prepared for the transition.
No more training for her now, the plan to catch up with less seems to have worked well.
6th week, day 2. Today, I defoliated a bit more, and in 2 days, it's going to 12/12.
6th week, day 4, you can't see any defoliation anymore 😅, but it doesn't matter, today it was switched to 12/12.
Thanks for stopping by, wishing you a great week 🍀🌞

McBubatz Week 7, 1st week of flowering.
A few days ago, the switch to 12/12 happened, and today the first two Deep Red lights were added.
Cherry Crisp is really sprinting through, has already surpassed the Blueberry in height, the slightly lighter training seems to have paid off, and who knows, maybe I’ll have to step up the LST after all; I'm curious to see how the stretch behaves with her.
Today at least I used Bud Ignitor for the first time to kick the flowering into high gear 😄.
Thanks for stopping by, wishing you a great week 🍀🌞

McBubatz Week 8, 2nd week of flowering.
Cherry Crisp has had a good stretch so far, thanks to the Bud Ignitor the first pistils are now coming in and it's full speed ahead into flowering. This week the blue ADDlite's are still running and next week the 2nd Deep Red lights will join in and the blue will be out.
Thanks for stopping by, wishing you a great week 🍀🌞

McBubatz 9th week, 3rd flowering week.
Hey guys! Quick update from the basement: The ladies are on absolute luxury food and shining in the finest deep green. No burnt tips, no blockages – the Mars Hydro is blasting (now with 4 Deepred ADDlite's bars) and the plants love it! ☀️
Focus this week:
The stretch is slowly heading into the home stretch and the first white pom-poms are exploding everywhere. Time to serve the girls the absolute luxury menu to ignite the resin and terpene production completely right now! 🔥
Since I'm running Big Bud and Bio PK simultaneously, I've opted for a controlled hybrid strategy: The Bio PK is given as a targeted one-time dose with smooth 3 ml/L instead of the full blast of 10 ml/L. This way, I perfectly feed the soil life without making the soil "too hot."
The nutrient cocktail (per liter):
-Iguana Juice Bloom: 2 ml/L (The organic foundation)
-Ancient Earth: 2 ml/L (So the roots can soak up every drop perfectly)
-Big Bud (Organic): 1 ml/L (Started relaxed at 50%)
-Bio PK (BioTabs): 3 ml/L (The secret upgrade ingredient for the big flower push)
-Bud Candy: 2 ml/L (Sugar/carbohydrates for sticky buds and fit microorganisms)
-Bud Factor X: 2 ml/L (The absolute resin and trichome turbo)
-Tasty Terpenes: 2 ml/L (Amino acids for stable shoots)
-B-52: 2 ml/L (Vitamin boost against any stress)
Next stop: Keep an eye on the leaf tips and sharpen the scissors. As soon as the vertical growth completely stagnates, we’ll do a radical cleanup down below (Lollipopping)! Stay tuned! 🌿💪
Ah unfortunately, she hermied extremely, there were bananas on almost every shoot. Overall a beautiful plant with good growth and probably would have produced fat buds, but since there were too many nanners for me, I killed her and tossed her in the compost bin.

McBubatz Unfortunately, it's hermaphroditic, so it's off to the compost bin. Such a shame 😭.
Annoying. I had that happen 2 times in a row with the Lemon Cherry Gelato from Barneys & Backpackers. Only on the 3rd time did it not want to gender anymore. 🙈😅
@Growingdaddyo, Thank you 😊. Haha yeah, this round is wild this time 🤣. The Cherry Crisp has also moved into a cocostab, but still nothing to see 🧐. I have to throw in another seed tomorrow/today because one didn't want to sprout 😭. The other two have already seen the light of the world 😁.
that's nature and it always happens, I've started to remove the male shoots if it's manageable, they only produce new flowers for about 10 days. but that's not always possible
especially after the light change and often in week 2-3 of flowering is probably a critical time when male flowers can appear.
@Mia_BIOTABS, yeah, that's unfortunately how it is 😅. I would have removed the bananas or shoots too if there hadn't been so many bananas on almost every plant 🙈. Yeah, it is what it is now, but the other 3 are doing pretty well 💪
