McBubatz The Blucci (2nd seed) is now also on board and in the final pot. The first seed didn't want to sprout🙈, but well, number 2 is alive. For this grow, I'm also relying on BioTabs and an Advanced Nutrients mix. To start, according to the instructions, the BioTabs components go in, one tablet of Voodoo Juice Plus (for all 4 in the tent), and a bit of Great White in the pot or watering water. McBubatz Week 5. Blucci was slightly adjusted during LST to stretch the shoots more outward. She received another small Advanced Nutrients treatment with Voodoo Juice (to boost the soil life a bit), some Iguana Juice Grow, B-52 to help recover from the "strains" of the last few days and finally switch into growth boost mode, and some Tasty Terpenes to push potassium a bit. Otherwise, the little one is doing well, growing a bit slower after topping compared to Slurricane and Blueberry, but is lively and has nice juicy green leaves. McBubatz 6th week, the last week of Veg. Blucci has recovered very well, she was defoliated a bit and manicured so that the power now goes nicely into the tips. From the middle of the week, the switch to 12/12 (Hardswitch) will happen. They will get some Iguana Juice Bloom and Tasty Terpenes (Potassium) during the next watering so they are well set up for the stretch. 6th week, 2nd day. Today, a bit more defoliation was done and in 2 days it goes to 12/12. 6th week, 4th day, you can't see anything from the defoliation anymore 😅, but whatever, today it was switched to 12/12. McBubatz 7th week, 1st flowering week. A few days ago, the switch to 12/12 happened. Blucci is growing, a bit more leisurely than the others but still keeping up quite well. Today, the first two Deep Red lights were added, and she got Bud Ignitor for the first time to make it clear that it's time to go into flowering 😄. McBubatz 8th week, 2nd flowering week. Blucci has already made good progress and is keeping up relatively well. Bud Ignitor is showing effects and the switch is progressing at a good pace. McBubatz 9th week, 3rd flowering week. Hey folks! Quick update from the basement: The ladies are on absolute luxury food and shining in the finest deep green. No burnt tips, no blockages – the Mars Hydro is blasting (now with 4 Deepred ADDlite strips) and the plants love it! ☀️ Focus this week: The stretch is slowly heading into the final straight and the first white pom-poms are exploding everywhere. Time to serve the girls the absolute luxury menu to ignite the resin and terpene production completely now! 🔥 Since I'm running Big Bud and Bio PK in parallel, I've opted for a controlled hybrid strategy: The Bio PK is given as a targeted one-time dose with smooth 3 ml/L instead of the full blast of 10 ml/L. This way, I perfectly nourish the soil life without making the soil "too hot." The nutrient cocktail (per liter): -Iguana Juice Bloom: 2 ml/L (The organic foundation) -Ancient Earth: 2 ml/L (So the roots can soak up every drop perfectly) -Big Bud (Organic): 1 ml/L (Started relaxed with 50%) -Bio PK (BioTabs): 3 ml/L (The secret upgrade ingredient for the big flower push) -Bud Candy: 2 ml/L (Sugar/carbohydrates for sticky buds and fit microorganisms) -Bud Factor X: 2 ml/L (The absolute resin and trichome turbo) -Tasty Terpenes: 2 ml/L (Amino acids for stable shoots) -B-52: 2 ml/L (Vitamin shot against any stress) Next stop: Keep an eye on the leaf tips and sharpen the scissors. McBubatz Week 10, BW 4. Blucci is in absolutely top form. It shows a beautiful, deep, vibrant dark green, indicating a perfectly balanced nutrient supply. No burnt leaf tips or blockages visible. The development of the white pistils is progressing absolutely evenly and cleanly on all shoots. Smell / Terpenes: Compared to the tent neighbors, it's still a bit more subtle, but when gently rubbing the flower cups, a very noble, fine sweetness with a minimal fruity-berry note already emerges. ➡️ Watering amount: about 1.5 liters daily (completely absorbed without any hiccups, no drain) ➡️ Fertilization scheme: Base mix as last week, completely stopped Bio PK, increased Big Bud to 2 ml/L (100%) to push the flower clusters. ➡️ Climate: RLF stable at 50–53%. McBubatz 11th week, 5th flowering week. The starting signal for the second half of flowering is unmistakable. The length growth of the pistils is slowing down, instead, a clear ripening push is noticeable: The hairs are rapidly changing color from the tips to a bright orange-brown and are curling around the swelling flower cups (calyxes). The bud mass is noticeably increasing. Thanks to their delicate, open structure, air circulation in the dense tent is excellent – a huge advantage with the current summer temperatures. No deficiencies, no signs of over-fertilization. ➡️ Watering amount: 1.5 liters (optimally adjusted) ➡️ Nutrients: Unchanged from last week (nutrient level stable) ➡️ Climate: Despite summer peak values of up to 31 °C, absolutely vital and stress-free. McBubatz 12 weeks, 6th week of flowering. The Blucci is currently in the highly active phase of flower development. The visual performance is excellent; the trichome density is increasing daily. As can be seen, the structure is compact and the plant isn't really showing signs of stress, despite the high light pressure. For this week, we're slightly adjusting the feeding schedule to focus fully on the final bud swelling and to avoid over-fertilization with nitrogen (N). ​➡️Watering: 1.5 liters per day (constant). ​➡️Fertilizer adjustment: ➡️​Iguana Juice Bloom: Reduced to 1 ml/l. ➡️​Remaining schedule: Stays the same as previous weeks. ➡️Climate: Stabilization of humidity at around 50% maintained. McBubatz 14th week, 8th week of flowering. Blucci is slowly having some K problems as well, unfortunately had little time for the plants this week (you can see that too). But it's not too bad for her, she'll probably be chopped down in the next few days anyway, she's heading strongly towards the end. Today she got another light nutrient solution and it will be reduced further in the coming days. McBubatz After 15 1/2 weeks, 9 weeks of flowering, the Blucci has now been pre-trimmed and is ready to dry. It grew quite nicely and produced a good amount of somewhat smaller but very dense buds. The smell is very pleasant, citrusy, berry sweet, with a slightly spicy note that makes me hopeful for a tasty little bag. The yield is pretty okay for its size. Unfortunately, towards the end, it had some issues with the nutrients, but once it only got plain water, it was fine again. I tried to get decent photos of the trichomes, but they turned out too blurry 😅🙈. Well, I had about 20-30% amber and the rest mostly milky with a few clear ones.
