Day 1: Germinated 2 Crop King CBD AutoCheese and 2 Crop King Lambs Breath. I have never grown autos but got some down at my local Hemp Show and have seen some great grows of these strains on here. Always wanted to try these 2 and decided to give it a go. They are in 3 gal fabric pots of Fox farm Ocean forest, I’ve never grown in soil before either. I was advised by my local grow shop to mix a pocket of 25% FFOF and 75% sunshine around the seed to minimize the chance of burning and stunting these autos. I guess we’ll see. I plan on growing these outdoors, but they will be started inside under 2-2ft T5s to control environment until my weather is more consistent. Moistened the soil with RO water. Thanks for checking this out.

For outdoor grown autos, do you let them grow naturally in its 1) Xmas tree shape, 2) Xmas tree and LST side branches or 3) LST the main stock down and side branches? Any tips or advice would be helpful. Thanks.

Hey there, so Both options are valuable. I think the best thing to consider is how many direct sunlight hours you have and if you have a wide open space that gets sun from sunrise to sunset. If you don't have rise to set i would go with tying the plant over to increase the hours you do get. Either way though your space looks to get some very nice lighting. I would still defoliate the bottoms though to up the size of your main buds. Happy growing, i love the outdoor auto run.✌️

Week 1: I have slightly different growth from these Crop King Auto Cbd cheese and Lambs Breath Auto seeds. The cheese have been growing equally over the past week. I am excited for these because I’ve heard a lot of good things about cheese for my GI issues. The Lambs Breath have not had as good a week. The one got Fd over by the seeds shell and I misted it to help the membrane stay moist at it got stunted and it’s true leaves are twisting and deformed 👎 The other (LB1) has rounded true leaves, not a crisp point to the end. Idk what that is about, but growing well. Going to be freeing up a 300w Mars LED once they have enough legs for that. The weather here has not been normal. The house is easier. I watered once this week with 250 ml of water with a couple drops of B vitamins and Cal mag. Thanks for stopping by.

Day 14: They have had good growth this week, except the obvious mutated and twisted one. I moved the plants from the seedling area into my veg tent. It is a 4x4 tent with a 600 watt vivosun led, and have a 350 watt Mars to turn on later if needed. I misted lightly with a kelp cal mag solution, they responded well. I did not water this week, soil was still moist. They’ll need water in a day or 2. I have dropped another seed and the tap root is 2 mm long. Will plant when the tap root is a bit longer.

Day 14-21: Good growth this week. It’s tough to gauge how much water to give and when to give it with a small plant in a big pot. This week I think I may try some LST, haven’t decided 100% yet. The twisted Lambs Breath got replaced with a new one and we’ll see how that one goes. They only got a misting of cal mag and b vitamins a couple times this week. Pots are still on the heavy side.

Day 28: plants went outside on day 24 and were put in the shade to get acclimated. Moved them into the direct sun day 27. We have had a cloudy week here with high humidity so I wanted to get them outside. Low light made them stretch, but I’m not overly worried about size. Got preflowers on the cheese on day 23, but haven’t progressed much in that regard. The Lambs Breath has less stretch in the branches at this point and no preflowers. I have been watering with phd water only this week and starting to water the full strength ocean forest soil. So expecting some solid growth this week with increased light, air and nutrients. We’ll see how it goes.

Day 35: The cheese are flowering great. Lots of bud growth and good stacking. They all look like they’ve had a bit too much sun so I’m going to put them where they’ll get some shade at the heat of the day. The Lambsbreath is not flowering yet, though it’s looking like it should soon and is quite droopy. We’ll just wait and see. We are having 23-27C days and 13-17C nights. Gave them a good watering this morning.

Day 43 from seed: 2 cheese and 1 lambsbreath are flowering now. I pulled what definitely looked like a male preflowers off the Lb so I’m keeping an eye on that. Also there are little orange balls amongst my flowers on the cheese. They are not bananas, maybe grasshopper eggs or some sh*t. I’m just tweezing them out, idk. I have never grown autos before, or outdoors, or fabric pots or fox farm ocean forest so I have no basis for how these should look. Haha Our weather here hasn’t been awesome. Goes from raging dry heat to overcast cool and cloudy. Suns up at 5:30 and down at 9:30, and the last couple days have been very smoky from forest fires. I have been doing a bit of lst and defoliated 8 leaves shading the whole south facing side. I am trying not to overwater so that the rain added doesn’t extra overwater. Soil may be drying out too much. I’m used to soilless where it dries right out. I’m interested in trying this grow again indoors and seeing the comparison. This is my second flower feeding, but I have no idea if or how much would be left in the original soil amount. I’m having fun just letting it do it’s thing with a little help. If you have any tips, feel free to share. Happy Growing 🌱

Day 49 from seed: Cheese are in full flower and looking great. I have been moving them so on cloudy days they get full sun and on sunny days they get about 3-4 hours when I can. Some pistol on tops are turning brown and I’m wondering if it’s from sun or just doing its thing. They are about 18” tall and just smaller than a soda can at the leaves. Smell is starting to linger around them. More fruit at the moment. Some trichomes forming after 4ish weeks of flower. Lambsbreath: These plants seem to prefer less light, especially the smaller one. It’s growing great after being in full shade during the heat of the day. It has started to flower and I want it to stretch and make room. Don’t need any mold!! Doing LST and tying down main stem and tucking leaves. The big one is 24”+ and coming along nicely. I had been flowering for 3 weeks now. It’s pretty much one main cola, but if it fattens up could be really nice. They all have had only one feeding last week and one today. All other water has been from rain. Have been watering with my town water about 350 ppm of cal mag mang iron, well rounded amounts of micro nutrients and this week some cns 17 ripe 1-5-4 (I think) about 400 ppm of that. Cheese will get some molasses or a booster this week. Overall pretty happy with what I’m seeing. Happy growing🌱

I am going out of town this next week so I’m going to water heavily and moved them into some shade so they dont get torched. They are looking good. The cheese has some good firm buds. They are starting to get pretty stinky. Smell is nice, kinda fruity like blueberry and skunky. Killed a bunch of tiny caterpillars, every one I could find. Lambsbreath is coming along, its 24+ inches tall and buds are getting bigger. Next week I’ll put them in full sun. It’s a couple weeks behind the cheese and the little one is a couple weeks behind that. I am going to read the Garden Sage book by David Robinson and see if there’s any info that can fit my application. Thanks for checking in. Happy growing 🌱

Day 61 from seed Lambsbreath Day 21 flower Cheese Day 39 flower I have been out of town for the past 6 days. They have had a good amount of growth in that time. Got home to find some caterpillars chewing on some leaves. Went through and picked them out.....that’s what the little red balls were, must have missed a couple. Interestingly enough, only on the cheese, the Lb has none. All plants have been moved to full sun and we’ll see if that’s helps the LB fatten up. The 3 older plants are yellowing and fading some, so a heavier feeding was done today.

Day 72 from seed Day 48 of flower I’ve been out of town for the last week, so they’ve just been doing their thing. I did a heavy water and filled the trays with plain Phd water as it was supposed to be 27-30 degrees all week. I found some caterpillar sh*t on some of my leaves but no caterpillars to kill. I will start to check trichomes this week and see where the cheese are at. The lambsbreath are coming along nicely. Lots of trichomes on the younger one and pistils are darkening on the larger one. The leaves are yellowing and some sugar leaves are browning on the tops. I have removed a couple little brown nugs in case it was bud rot. Overall still happy with the way things are going.

Things have been going well, had a bunch of aphids primarily on the Lambs Breath and a few on the cheese. I sprayed the aphids off the 2 LB with the hose in a different area than where I grow and sprayed the grow area every day with end all for 10 days and crushed every one I saw on the plants and removed leaves with more than a couple on it. The numbers have gone down significantly. I tried samples of the cheese and LB last week and was happy with the effects so the 3 are going to get chopped soon. The weather is getting down to single digits Celsius overnight and has slowed the growth significantly, but causing some pretty cool colors. The cheese is an 8 week flower and it’s in week 9 and the bigger LB is almost 8 weeks of a suggested 7-9. The smaller one has a couple weeks to go. Has anybody harvested with a couple aphids? Will they just bugger off or die once there is no juice for them to eat or should I give the buds a rinse to hopefully remove the stragglers? Thanks, Happy Growing 🌱

3 of the 4 plants have been harvested as you can see. I am pretty impressed with the outcome. I really didnt do much for these plants, I just let them do their thing and reap the rewards. I will have a better review and weights in a couple weeks once cured up some and the last LB is done. In the mean time I have a 12 plant SOG of Durban Poison, CBDutch Treat, Northern Skunk and a Cali Kush to tend to, stop by and have a look. Thanks and Happy Growing 🌱

80 days from sprout I chopped these 2 Crop King Auto Cheese CBD plants. I am very pleased with the results especially considering they got little care and little nutrients. I just wanted to see how they’d do on their own. They fed off the ocean forest soil early on, then a couple feedings during flower. These started to flower early, only a couple weeks in, so That didn’t help with the yield, which CK states is 150g outdoors. I ended up with -60g each. I encountered some pests, a couple caterpillars that did a fair bit of damage to the fan leaves and aphids late in flower that definitely shocked them. I ended up with about a dozen seeds so far, unsure of the cause. Didn’t see any bananas and they all seem the be on the lower half. Maybe just self pollinated?? Next time I will plant them in 10 gal containers to really let them stretch their legs and see what happens. Overall like the ease and speed of autos and see the perks for sure especially where I live. The weather changes very quickly and there is no chance of a photo finishing. May try a 9 plant sog indoors to boost my variety. Happy Growing 🌱 Live up

It is nice and light, slightly introspective, relaxing and uplifting. Flavor is piney with citrus and pretty tasty. Fairly decent yielder with little attention and care. Lots of seeds and aphids tho.
