This time I didn't add any nutrients. My last grow I over dosed them. I am taking growing tips from users. I appreciate the help😉

My question is, what did you use to over-fertilize – mineral or organic? I'm guessing mineral, since it's easier to overdo it. It's always better not to add the solution to dry substrate; it's better to moisten it a bit beforehand, then fertilize afterward. Maybe do it every 2-3 days and see how it develops. Drainage is also important; I've had good results using Drain Master to check pH levels. The substrate itself should also be suitable. Choose strains that are more forgiving at the beginning. Good luck!

Hey JibbyJack! It is totally understandable that you’re being cautious after overdoing it last time, but keep in mind that by Week 6, most soil types will have run out of their natural nutrient buffet. To avoid another "overdose," you don't have to go full strength; just start with 25% of the recommended dose and see how the plants react. It is much easier to fix a slight hunger than it is to fix nutrient burn, so you're already ahead of the game by being careful. If they look green and happy, you're doing great, but don't be afraid to give them a little snack soon so they have the energy to build those big buds! Happy Growing, Growmie!

Hi Signals to watch out for Around week 4-5 We all had the same reflex one day that she was always hungry. so the rule of less is more. observe the leaves of your plant, they will give you signals of lack or excess. we learn from our mistakes. Have a good evening

Eventually, you'll need nutrients. Shit ton of variables invovled in this question that can't all be covered. it's like learnign to ride a bike. Each soil you use will come with slightly different levels of nutrients across the board... as you re-use one you'll learn what needs to be added over time - it may not be exactly the same, but should be similar relative to any "1" soil product or concoction you mix together in a consistent way. Always good to take notes, refine and implement a better plan next time... eventually you fine-tune it to work well. often, soils need more perlite or simialr drainage amendment added. Along with whatever might come with it, you want about 50% of volume to be perlite or similar. I'd recommend vermiculite, but people are more familiar with perlite and it's used here in a generic way. This also reduces how "hot" the soil is, too. Consider anything you added to the volume that doesn't add nutrients to the equation. i feel like i typed this out in another answer recently, so ignore if so. Think i deleted it before posting, but... if you want to hit the easy button and be able to have a set of instructions to follow with fewer maybes and unknowns, use a soilless growing method. When you control all the nutritional inputs, it takes a lot of the guesswork out. There are advantages to soil growing, so in either case you can learn to get consistently good results, but soilless definitely has a shorter learning curve with some good guidance to start. cocoforcannabis.com - guides, articles and dr. photon's corner. Even if growing in soil, there's lots of good infor that will translate or be useful is a less literal way for a soil context, too. e.g. all the training and other stuff is the same. Irrigating soil is slightly different but the gist of what is going on is universal - i.e. don't want to partially water.

Depends. What hot soil? Hot Coco (yes)? Soil with mineral nutrition (yes)? Too hot living soil(mostly yes)? Also depends on pot size, repotting, stage of the plant. Nonetheless, Veg + Bloom have different needs for optimization at least additional for support is suitable in most cases. So yeah.. depends. If you are lazy and fine with losses, bad harvests, problems you can't manage you can go without any additional nutrition , just check most of my diaries 😅 (would recommend to spend the extra buck and effort to just harvest more and reliable)

JibbyJack This week the girls are looking strong, I will continue exactly the same regime. The buds are developing well. They are very sticky. The 2 non budding plants are showing signs of pre bud. Growing different strains is challenging. The timelines are very different. The 2 budding strains are Anethesia Auto from FB420 and Purple Haze from Zamnesia. I installed the Infinity AC Spectrum 3 camera this week, so far it has been awesome.
