NiePoSionym420 So, it’s time to start a new adventure. I’ve decided to do a comparison for myself – this isn’t a battle between companies or an attempt to prove that one is better than the other. I simply wanted to see whether there would be any noticeable difference when using the complete nutrient line from Plagron versus Canna.
For this grow, I’ll be using a strain from Good Genetix by Sebastian: Sundae Thumper x Guava Auto. I planted two seeds from the same batch – one in Plagron Coco Perlite 70/30 and the other in 100% Canna Coco and 10l pots
How can you tell which is which? Simple – the pot without the white “stones” (perlite) is the Canna Coco. No need to overcomplicate it.
Let’s just see how they grow. I’m really curious to see how this strain performs, and I can’t wait to see the final results.

NiePoSionym420 Hello, after 1 week of veg. As you can see, in the pot with Canna the plant is slightly taller by about 2 cm and a bit wider, but not drastically. I should also add that this may be because it emerged from the soil a bit earlier than the one in Plagron. From the very beginning it has been watered every 2 days. I can say it’s on heavy nutrition and so far there are no signs that it doesn’t tolerate it. I hope it turned out to be good genetics and that it will grow like crazy.
I’d also like to add that the goal here is to completely leave the plant alone — apart from watering, I won’t be doing any LST, bending or any other training techniques. It will be left to grow naturally on its own, and we’ll see how it performs this way.
