MontanaManMedical It’s only been a few days since she sprouted, but she looks healthy. I’m gradually upping the wattage on the Spider Farmer over the next week as she grows so she doesn’t get light deprived. It’ll be interesting to see how she behaves in veg over a several week period.

MontanaManMedical Steady but slow growth. She looks healthy, and I will be increasing the power of the light in a week or two. I will be putting this in the flowering tent in 4 weeks regardless of its size.

MontanaManMedical The growth has begun to accelerate, with lots of leaves developing in a short amount of time. Still not a lot of height, but that’s to be expected in a 100% Indica landrace. 3 weeks to go before she gets put in flowering. I’ve upped the light to 100% power to help her growth continue to accelerate now that she has the leaves to take advantage of the extra light.

MontanaManMedical Her growth rate has accelerated in the last few days, as her new leaves generate even more energy. I’m planning on doing very little defoliation until just a day or two before moving her into the flowering tent in 2 weeks. She looks like she’ll be a good size by that time.

MontanaManMedical Her growth has accelerated at the perfect time, as she’ll be moved into the flowering tent on Wednesday. This strain has a particularly short flowering time, so it’ll be interesting to see what kind of stretch I get out of her.

MontanaManMedical She was put into the flowering tent on Wednesday, after I harvested the White Rhino. She looks very healthy, and has already stretched a little.

MontanaManMedical She’s already stretched a significant amount in a short time. I removed her two top fan leaves on Thursday, as I wanted to give more light to the branches under them. The plant has responded well, with each of the branches showing significant stretch in the last few days.

MontanaManMedical She stretched a great deal in the last week, in no small part to the selective defoliation that I’ve done. In response, the plant has shot up, with multiple branches stretching towards the trellis net. There’s a faint sweet scent that I’m detecting that’s similar to the White Rhino that I recently harvested, but wasn’t present in the tent in the previous week. In fact, I’ve only detected it in the last day or so. Very interesting. I have a little bit of defoliation to do in the next week, but I wanted to give the plant a few days to recover in between. They seem to tolerate it better in my experience.

MontanaManMedical With the latest round of defoliation, she has begun to stretch pretty evenly, which should result in several “main colas”, instead of just one. I think she’s mostly done stretching, but I’ll be keeping an eye on her stretch for another week, as you never know. So far she’s looking wonderful, roughly 4 weeks away from harvest and almost halfway done.

MontanaManMedical Her stretch has finally stopped, and now the swelling begins. The last few days have been mostly the buds growing rapidly. I did some additional defoliation to help with airflow. The plant continues to respond well. She seems pretty hearty.

MontanaManMedical With the plant 2 weeks away from harvest, I’ve reduced the nutrients and added Carboflush. This strain is supposed to produce a good amount of resin, so this should help it in that regard. The buds are beginning to swell as this week starts, so I’m hoping for at least 100 grams before she starts concentrating on resin production. There is still just the same sweet smell in the background at this point.
