Pictures: start of week 5.
first two are the plant FRESHLY watered with just ph'd 6.0 floranectar at 600ppm. (Only reason it's drooping)
Then I took the lowest 4 colas and staked them down to creat a flat open canopy.
Second two pictures are the plant after 6 hours of sleep and 4 hours of light, Reaching up beginning it's journey to a full single plant 10 cola table top canopy.
I also lowered the light to 24 inch.
FEEDING: mixing all these nutes listed gave me a ppm of the solution of 4500ppm. Do not feed that to a plant!!!! It will die. I have 3 containers.
1 is 2 gals of phd water and sugars (floranectar)
1 is 2 gals concentrated phd nutrients
1 is 1 gallon for mixing for feed days
I used about 1/10th or so of that solution in a 1 gallon container, filled the rest with floranectar only water and they were both pH 6.0 because my run off is about pH 6.9. made sure the ppm in was about 1100 (600ppm was floranectar and tap water). This will be the feeding I give right before flip next Friday giving it enough food to thrive during the stretch!!! 1100 ppm ish every other water with the same solution until end of week 7 of flower. Then flush every single time I water until harvest.
Also a light defoliation taking the biggest lowest fan leaves to allow focused energy to plant development. Maybe 4 each week as they get to be about the size of my hand. I've done this every grow with great results.
Open space = air flow and light penetration. If a plant can feel the air and the light it will grow big buds to try to catch pollen to procreate . If it's dark and stagnant it's not viable and the plant won't grow buds there. We don't want that to happen, but we'll be happy with some big buds!
7-16 flushed again to get same pH and ppm in as out. 6.8 and 900ppm. I also staked down the next two colas. 12 total. Last feed before I flip Friday night 7-19 with enough time to turn up the last staked colas and even out my canopy
Had a rough start getting her to root, now all seems great and she's been in flip for 6 days. No light leaks, 1212, 81 degrees f, 50% humidity, no toxicity or deficiencies, always pH 6.3 ish and 1000-1300 ppm early flower with bloom nutes.
No white pistils ..... Should I worry?
Looking nice n lush.

Good information about nute recommendation. I had the same problem when I followed instructions. I no longer care for manufacturers recommendations.
@Puffer_Bill,
I've been doing the concentrate cocktail for a month or so? And so far I'm really digging it. Also when or if you see the plant is lacking a specific nute, you can always cut back the concentrate and sub in some of what seems to be missing. Less mix, more cal mag but same ppm for a feeding, for example. Has been pretty good
@Puffer_Bill,
So far man I am really digging it. The verdict won't be out for about 7 -8 more weeks but I have high hopes. Would love to have a inexpensive like that's reliable and also productive.
I had my first old man
(38 go easy) dumb fuck moment and it's been going on for over a year now.
My ppm meter isn't a ppm meter. It's a us/cm meter (ec meter) meaning the 1300 ppm I've been feeding the plants is actually 650ppm (1300 us/cm / 2)
So I've been half feeding for a year
Thank you so much for choosing our genetics for this adventure on the grow diary platformπ
Best of luck with the grow my friend lets see what you can do with our Sapphire OG π
We are watching with interest from Humboldt County βοΈ
Kind regards
Team-HSO..
@GunsGrows, We launched 6 new HSO releases late last year my friend and all are tearing at 20-28% THC so worth a look π
The 6 I would suggest are
OGKZ
Sugar Breath
Gorilla Breath
Three Blue Kings
Sapphire Scout
Blue Fire π
I think one of these will be perfect mate π
Kind regards βοΈ
Team-HSO..
@That_Guy,
Thanks man ! I'm anxious to see the dry weight, but I'm more looking forward to terps, flavors and effect. I smoked my precut stuff sat and 2 bowls lasted me 11 hours. I'm a 25 years daily veteran smoker. I'm excited
Now that's one frosty and colourful looking Sapphire Scout π
Those flowers look really densely structured and dripping in trichomesπ, what's not to love π€
With love from Humboldt CountyβοΈ
Kind regards
Team-HSO..
@Humboldt_Seed_Organisation, thanks! It's your Sapphire OG though, I'm looking forward to running the Sapphire scout soon though! Thanks for the kind words, she's coming down next week after a little fading and some time to purple up. She's slowly showing a blend of purple and light green. Great buds. Love the genetics
