Sprouted her head above soil under cheap 300w Elaine LED and few 23w 6500k CFLs. CFL bulbs were pretty close to her. Soil is mix of Fox Farm Ocean Forest, Happy Frog, extra perlite and Mykos. She's in a 5 gallon fabic pot, her 1st and final home. No food this week. Just water I added vitamin c powder to (1/64th tsp for 5 gallons water - i water other plants with it too) and set out for 24hrs. Ph 6.5. Few ounces at a time only as needed 👍
Saw a few people mention this strain needs Calmag supplement...haven't seen issues but gave her a half dose. Also my cheapo LED started burning out. I ordered a 450w and 300w Visparspectra full spectrum lights. Using a sun system 150w hps and few 50w leds in meantime. Sucks but finally upgrading I guess.
She's started to flower and I have such a lame set up while waiting for new lights. Oh well, here we go! No probs to report. Smooth grow and HUGE stretch on her. I feel like I can watch her grow.
Brewed some aerated compost tea with Nature's Living Soil concentrate for my outdoors and fed Pineapple some too. Also top dressed with more ocean forest and little bit of living soil mixed in. My outdoor girls drink more often ( running them organically) and sometimes between waterings I give them some coconut water. About a quarter cup a gallon. I sometimes give Pineapple a drink too. Probably done with G.H. Flora Trio for this girl. She was feed some good shit in the tea and top dress and I have some pk booster samples I may try later on. Kinda all over the place here...
Also finally got and hung up the two visparspectra lights!!
Tried out Humboldt Secret Flower Stacker. A pk booster for week 3 of flower and on. I like that it has b vitamins but I've never used and don't know if 0-7-5 npk is good for this gal. The directions say to start at 1ml a gallon and I did. I did smell her more strongly after this watering. Fuckin yum! Like a fruit smoothie haha. Also a sip of coconut water/ water drink few days later. Don't know if it helps but its full of vitamins and minerals and sugar ☺️
Was cruising along. Buds are fattening up a bit and I can really get a whiff right before the lights come on and after a watering. Then noticed purpling on stems and some lower yellowing fans. Worried but not too much... The breeder has this strain at 4wks veg and 30 days flower unless I understood that wrong. My girl needs more than 30 days by the looks of the buds and trichomes. The purpling...I haven't seen anything about this strain purpling. Uh oh. All three strains in my closet (all different and two are clones) have started purpling a bit just stems. Could it have anything to do with the new better lights, like some stress reaction? Or a nute or ph issue? I dont know. Maybe a flush...
Just in case I'm seeing a ph root issue or over/under nute prob and can't identify...I flushed her with plain ph'd water. Then a light feed later. I switched to Bush Doctor Bembe because its a lower pk booster and has a bit of molasses. Thinking of just letting her finish up a few more weeks. No more messing with her except maybe a coconut water sip and plain water 😛
Just watering with plain water when needed. Have some brown hairs but she keeps spitting out new white ones so just rolling along. She smells great after a drink or right before lights on time 😊
Pics i take when i water her outside. Just wanted some natural light shots of her instead of led ones but she's an indoor girl.
This gal was a very fast, hearty, big bud plant! Very happy with her. If I had better conditions for the whole run I think she'd have been at her best. Not very sticky and not coated in trichs but that maybe my fault.
So i dont have a scale or anything. I got about 3/4 of a mason jar. The pic shows the half I've kept. This grow was screwy with light issues and such so she's not bad for the run i gave her. Smells like a smoothie with slight hint of cheese 😄 not a reeker tho. Very easy plant for anyone interested 👍
