cangrowz 🌱 Germination – Week 1/10 🌱 The three Frosted Guava are growing and thriving wonderfully so far. There's not much more to say after the first week – all three look healthy and are developing just as one would hope in this early phase. 💚 In the first two weeks, I will completely refrain from using any nutrients. The plants should first establish their roots and settle in without additional nutrients. After that, I will slowly and carefully start introducing the first feedings. Now that the first week is done, I will also adjust the lighting a bit. I’m increasing the lamp power to 40% and setting the distance to the plant tops to about 50–60 cm. This way, the young ladies can gradually get used to the higher light intensity without being unnecessarily stressed. 💡🌱 Everything is going smoothly with the climate as well. Despite outside temperatures reaching 25–27 °C at times, the temperature and humidity remain in the green zone. The plants show no signs of heat stress or other issues, which indicates a successful start. 🌡️💨 Now it’s all about continuing to observe, staying patient, and watching the ladies grow. cangrowz frosted guava ❄️ 🌱 Germination – End of Week 2/10 🌱 The 3 are continuing to develop very well and are visibly growing day by day. The leaves are getting bigger, the stems stronger, and overall they all look healthy. So far, everything is going according to plan, and the plants show no abnormalities. During the next watering, we'll slowly start with a light feeding. Better to start cautiously and observe how the plants react. If growth continues to go well in the coming days, the first topping is planned for the beginning of week 3. The nighttime temperatures are still a bit cool, but the weather is expected to improve in the coming days. The humidity remains stable at about 62%, though it does drop slightly when the tent is opened. For now, it's all about observing, letting them grow, and giving the plants time to establish themselves properly. cangrowz 🌱 Beginning of Week 3/10 🌱 At the start of week 3, a lot more has happened than in the first two weeks. The plants are visibly growing now and continue to develop very well. With the two larger plants in the background, I started adding Advanced Nutrients Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra. Currently, they are getting 0.3 ml of Cal-Mag per liter of watering water. Additionally, both were topped at the end of week 2 and the beginning of week 3 so they can spread out wider early on and develop a stable structure. The third plant in the front germinated a bit later, so it was allowed to grow a few days longer. About 2–4 days after the others, it also received its first topping and has handled the small intervention very well so far. Since June 21, 2026, I have also started using Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect Sensi Grow A & B. The two larger plants are currently receiving 0.5 ml of Grow A and 0.5 ml of Grow B per liter of water. The front plant is expected to start receiving nutrients during the next watering. The large fan leaves will stay on the plant for now. As with my previous runs, I want to avoid unnecessary stress in this early phase and allow the plants as much energy as possible for their growth. cangrowz frosted guava ❄️ 🌱 Beginning of week 4/10 🌱 The four ladies are continuing to develop really well, and I am more than satisfied with their growth so far. What surprises me the most is how effortlessly they are handling the currently high temperatures. During the day, it’s reaching up to 32 °C in the tent, with a humidity of about 55–60%. Despite the summer-like conditions, the plants show no signs of heat stress and keep growing happily. Since I topped the plants at the beginning of the third week, I was also able to start the SCROG training now. The shoots are shaping up nicely, and even after topping, there were no stress reactions. So far, the strain gives a really robust impression and seems to be able to withstand quite a bit. Such characteristics make indoor growing a lot of fun. Now I'm particularly excited about the upcoming pre-flowering and how the four ladies will develop in the next weeks. The fourth week should be a bit more pleasant overall. Although the outside temperatures remain summery at about 30–32 °C, it can now be controlled much more relaxed and handled well in the tent. cangrowz frosted guava ❄️ 🌱 Beginning of Week 5/10 🌱 The three Frosted Guava continue to grow significantly and are developing exactly in the direction I envisioned. Meanwhile, the lamp has already been set to the maximum height, as the plants are increasingly utilizing the available space. It’s just fun to see how robust and healthy they are developing week by week. Slowly, the exciting phase of the grow begins now: The flowering starts and the first white pistils are showing on all three plants. This officially marks the transition from the growth phase to the flowering phase. I am curious to see how they will stretch in the coming weeks and how the buds will develop. The climate is also cooperating well at the moment. After it was significantly warmer for a while, the temperatures are currently back to about 20 to 28 °C. Especially for the start of flowering, these conditions are much more pleasant, allowing the plants to hopefully reach their full potential. This week, I also removed a few smaller shoots from the lower area that would hardly have received any light anyway. Additionally, some large leaves had to be removed, which were unnecessarily shading other plant parts. This way, light can better reach the lower areas and air circulation is also improved. From now on, the three will also receive the flowering fertilizer from Advanced Nutrients to optimally support them through the upcoming weeks of flowering. cangrowz 🌱 Beginning of Week 6/10 🌱 The fifth week is done, and I couldn't be happier with the development. It's just so much fun to watch the plants grow every day. Especially now in the early flowering stage, you can see changes daily. The pistils are developing really well, and everything is slowly taking shape. Moments like these make a grow so special for me. With the start of flowering, the nutrients have also been adjusted. From now on, I'm using Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect Sensi Bloom A&B, currently at 1.5 ml per liter. Additionally, the ladies are still getting 1 ml of CalMag per liter, which they have been handling very well so far. They are showing no signs of deficiency and overall look healthy, strong, and vibrant. There was also a small change with the light. The lamp is now at maximum distance and running at 85% power, so the plants continue to receive enough energy without causing unnecessary heat stress. If everything continues to go well, I expect the grow to be finished in about 3 to 4 weeks. Of course, the plant ultimately decides, but right now the timeline looks pretty good. Fortunately, the humidity remains constant. The biggest challenge at the moment is the temperatures. Depending on how warm it is outside, the grow tent can reach 30, 31 °C. If anyone has good tips on how to lower the temperature a bit without an air conditioner, feel free to share them in the comments. I appreciate any helpful advice. cangrowz frosted guava ❄️ 🌱 Beginning week 7/10 🌱 The three Frosted Guavas are continuing to develop really well. The buds are getting thicker day by day and have already gained a good amount of volume. I'm curious to see what happens in the last three weeks, as I think there will be a significant increase in weight and resin. Currently, I'm using Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect Bloom A + B with 2.0 ml per liter each, as well as Cal Mag with 1.2 to 1.5 ml per liter. At first, I was a bit skeptical about this fertilizer and thought that less might be better. However, I have to say that it has completely convinced me. The plants look healthy, are growing great, and are responding very positively to it. Now, of course, I'm excited to see what the final result will look like. I've also removed a few large fan leaves again to allow more light to reach the lower bud sites. Towards the end of the week, the temperatures finally dropped. After several days of consistently being at 30 to 32 °C, we're now at a comfortable 27 °C. I think this will also benefit the plants. The humidity is between 50 and 65% depending on watering, which is also in a good range. Since the last three weeks are coming up, I'm slowly starting to think about the harvest and the subsequent drying. I will probably use the DryFerm Bags again, as I've only had good experiences with them and I'm really convinced by the results. A big shoutout to Green House Seeds as well. cangrowz frosted guava ❄️ 🌱 Beginning of week 8/10 🌱 Slowly, we are moving into the final phase. The two back plants are now on the home stretch and will only be watered with water from today. If everything goes according to plan, the harvest will be in about a week. Of course, the trichomes will be checked regularly until then, so that the perfect harvest time is not missed. The front plant with the slightly darker coloration needs a bit longer and is lagging a little behind the other two. I am more than satisfied with the buds. The Frosted Guava truly lives up to its name, incredibly frosty, resinous, and simply beautiful to look at. Now that only water is being used for watering, the leaves will gradually color beautifully, of which I will of course also take some pictures. Drying will again be done later in the DryFerm Bags. I had really good experiences with this in the last three runs and will therefore stick with it this time as well. cangrowz ｆｒｏｓｔｅｄ　ｇｕａｖａ ❄️ 🌱 Woche 9 von 10 – Ernte 🌱 Diese Woche ist es endlich soweit – die beiden hinteren Pflanzen werden geerntet. Rückblickend haben alle drei in den letzten Wochen nochmal ordentlich an Volumen und Gewicht zugelegt, wodurch sich das Warten definitiv gelohnt hat. Da die beiden hinteren Pflanzen in ihrer Entwicklung deutlich weiter sind als die vordere, werden sie nun zuerst geerntet. Die vordere Pflanze darf noch etwas länger reifen, weshalb ich dieses Grow Diary bis zu ihrer Ernte weiterführen werde. Besonders begeistert hat mich zum Ende hin das wunderschöne Farbenspiel der Buds. Genau solche Momente machen den gesamten Grow zu etwas Besonderem. Die beiden hinteren Pflanzen wurden vor der Ernte eine Woche lang ausschließlich mit Wasser gespült und sind jetzt bereit für den finalen Schritt. Ein großes Dankeschön geht an Green House Seeds für die gesponserten Seeds. Die Genetik hat mich auf ganzer Linie überzeugt und gehört für mich zu den besten, die ich bisher anbauen durfte. cangrowz frosted guava ❄️ 🌱 Week 10 of 10 HARVEST 🌱 So, all three plants have actually been harvested, and this grow is officially complete. I'm more than satisfied with the overall result! 🙌🌱 Especially with the third and final plant, you could really see what the Frosted Guava has to offer during the harvest. The buds were incredibly frosty and sparkled beautifully in the little sun rays that came through the window into the tent during the harvest. ❄️✨ What particularly impressed me about this grow was the resilience of the strain. Despite the really high temperatures in the tent at times, the Frosted Guava showed no major problems or visible deficiencies and developed very steadily until the end. The buds are definitely impressive—nice and big, compact, and with a truly strong play of colors across all three plants. 💚💜 When emptying the pots, you could also see a very nice and well-developed root system, which confirmed to me once again how well the plants developed throughout the grow. In conclusion, I can clearly say: 10/10! 🔥 The Frosted Guava really delivered and impressed me both in growth and development, and of course with the final result.
