Royal Gorilla Feminized RQS, Indoor.

Psicultivo Germination log for the feminized Royal Gorilla seeds from Royal Queen Seeds for indoor cultivation (x4) with a 100% germination success rate. The germination method used was; a container with 200ml of stagnant water where the 5 seeds were submerged, waiting for the root to break through, after which they were transplanted into jiffys with optimal humidity for development. They are currently in the first stage of vegetation, so their size is approximately 4 to 5cm in height. I made a solution of 2ml of Grotek Root Force in 1L, watering with 100ml for each pot (fabric pots) of water with a pH of 6.2, with a light cycle of 18/6 using 250W halide lighting. The fan is running, and the vents are kept open to create passive ventilation. 👽

Psicultivo Their development is going great, they've grown really well, some more than others. Right now, they're consuming 700ml (pH: 6.4), and this week I started using BAC Organic Grow to provide the necessary nutrients during the vegetative stage, alternating 2 waterings with nutrients and the third one just with settled water. I generally water every other day, always depending on the state of the substrate (it's important to check the substrate condition before watering to avoid the presence of fungi either in the roots or on the leaves). I keep the clip fan on 24 hours a day, and when the temperature requires it, I use the activated carbon filter to better control this parameter. The halide light is still about 20 to 25cm away. Psicultivo Hello everyone! 👽 We're already in the third week of vegetation, and they're reaching the fourth node where it's time to do the apical pruning, which I'll do in the next few days once the fourth node is fully developed. The fan is running 24 hours, and on the other hand, I haven't turned on the activated carbon filter unless the temperature is high (above 33º). As for watering; I'm using 1.7ml/800ml with a pH of 6.4 for each plant (I measure the pH for each watering x4*800ml, so each watering is around 6.4 to 6.6), and after the pruning, I'll start the guides for the ScrOG. Psicultivo We're now in what would be the fourth and final week of vegetation before starting the flowering stage, which by the way is one of my favorite stages 😍. I did the apical pruning for the 4 Royal Gorilla after a few days of posting the third week in the diary, and I've started guiding the apicals in a cyclical manner (see photos) so I don't get confused with the upcoming guides. I'm still fertilizing with 1.7ml of Organic Grow Nutrition from B.A.C in a solution of 800ml with a pH of 6.5. The temperature is maintained between 21 to 23.6ºC, which is within the established parameters for the vegetation cultivation. The ventilation is on a 24/0 cycle, and I turn on the extractor from time to time to reduce the smell and control the temperature. Cheers! Any tips that could help me are always welcome! 👽

Psicultivo We are now in what would be the fifth week where I have started the flowering process by switching to a 12/12 light cycle. After performing the apical pruning on the 4 plants, they developed quickly, and I was able to guide them quite fast, so I won't be doing any more pruning except to clear the lower area of the net to make it easier for me to water. I continue fertilizing with 1.7ml of Organic Grow Nutrition from B.A.C, and this week I added 2ml of Organic Bloom Nutrition, 0.8ml of Root Force, and I also used a preventive; 0.5ml of Top Barrier, all in an 800ml solution with a pH of 6.7. The temperature remains between 21 to 23.6ºC. Cheers! 👽

Psicultivo Greetings community! I'm now in the sixth week, which would be the second week of flowering. As for the plants, there was a nutrient lockout which caused several leaves to drop. The important thing is that I managed to detect it in time, which is very important. Once in the nutrient lockout phase, I used Flawless Finish to do a clean-up and stabilize nutrient consumption. During the week, I only used Flawless Finish twice, plus one watering with just water, and a few days later the plant resumed its growth, producing new leaves to continue the flowering cycle. Psicultivo Greetings GrowDiaries Community, I’m now in the seventh week, which would be the third week of flowering. As you can see, the nutrient lockout has been successfully controlled, and the plant is once again assimilating its *nutritional bioavailability. The flowering is developing well so far, with the flowers growing every day, indicating a good state after resolving the nutrient lockout. I’m still running ventilation at maximum 24/0 and the active carbon filter on 20/4, light cycle 12/12. What was the problem that caused the nutrient lockout? My Hypothesis. A: It’s most likely that it happened when I did the cleaning trims (lollypop trimming). In the same week, I changed fertilizers, watering with BAC Grow, BAC Bloom, and Top Barrier (I used Grow just in case, which was unnecessary). At the moment of using all that amount of fertilizer and the amount of trimmed leaves, it could easily have caused the lockout, which was probably due to N (Nitrogen). I solved it very quickly with Flawless Finish. Keywords in the cannabis context * (in case someone doesn’t know) Nutritional Bioavailability: The plant's ability to nourish or feed itself. Psicultivo Greetings community! I'm now in the ninth week, which would be the fifth week of flowering. The buds are developing well so far and quite quickly for being 50% sativa! The amount of resin is progressively increasing, which indicates that it's developing nicely. There's not much time left, maybe about 2 to 3 more weeks. I'm still watering with BAC Bloom, PK Booster, and as a preventive measure, I use Top Barrier when I water only with water. The activated carbon filter, fan, and extractor are on a 24/0 cycle, and I occasionally rotate the reflector to provide the light spectrum as evenly as possible. Cheers! 👽

Psicultivo Greetings community! I'm now in the tenth week, which would be the sixth week of flowering. After the nutrient lockout, the leaves haven't regained 100% of their green color, yet they continue to develop as you can see. It's very likely that if the lockout hadn't happened, the buds would be bigger right now. The trichome production is impressive; they keep producing more to the point of leaving some buds looking "snowy." Next week, I will start the root washing so I can proceed with the trimming. I'm still watering with BAC Bloom and PK Booster at a pH of 6.3. Cheers! 👽

Psicultivo Hello community! I have just finished this diary where I learned a lot during the mistakes, which I hope not to repeat in the next grow. The effect of this strain is definitely very strong; it's very easy to overdose and end up doing nothing, at least that's what happens to me. The flowers produced a lot of resin; I left them inside for 7 to 10 days with the active carbon filter so I could control the temperature well and also keep the drying process as discreet as possible. They are currently in their jars in the curing process. Cheers!
