## Germination Week | The First Chapter
Hello GrowDiaries family! 👋🌱
Welcome to another new journey.
As mentioned in the previous diaries, I've recently adjusted the way I document my grows. Due to the current photo limitations on GrowDiaries, each phenotype now receives its own dedicated diary rather than grouping multiple plants together in a single journal.
This allows me to continue documenting every stage of development in as much detail as possible while selecting the best photographs from each week.
The objective remains exactly the same as always:
To create a complete educational record from seed to harvest, sharing observations, lessons learned, successes, mistakes, and everything in between.
Today, we begin following Chem Brulee Pheno A.

## Every Seed Carries a Story
One of the things I love most about growing is that every run starts the same way.
A tiny seed.
A hidden genetic blueprint.
And an entire journey waiting to unfold.
For this run, we're following Chem Brulee from Zamnesia Seeds, cultivated under a 12/12 from seed schedule from the very first day of life.
A method that is a little different from what most growers choose, but one that has become part of my own cultivation style over time.
Throughout this diary, I'll do my best to explain not only what I'm doing, but also why I'm doing it, allowing anyone interested to follow the process from beginning to end.
Every phenotype is unique.
Every plant teaches something.
And every run helps us become better growers.

## Germination Using the Cannakan System
To begin this run, I used the Cannakan germination system.
For those unfamiliar with it, the Cannakan is a compartmentalized germination container that allows multiple cultivars to be organized separately while maintaining a stable environment.
Each section can be individually labeled, making it extremely practical when working with several genetics simultaneously.
The seeds were placed inside using only plain water.
No nutrients.
No additives.
No stimulants.
Just water.
Within approximately 24 hours healthy taproots had already emerged, and the seeds were ready for the next stage.
Fast.
Simple.
Clean.
Exactly what we hope to see during germination.

## Why Only Water?
A question that often appears during germination is:
"Why not feed the seedlings immediately?"
The answer is simple.
The seed already contains everything required for its first days of life.
Nature packed all the energy reserves necessary for the plant to establish itself and begin developing roots.
At this stage, I personally prefer allowing the seed to do exactly what it was designed to do.
The objective is not to feed the plant.
The objective is simply to wake it up.
Water is enough.

## First Experience With Coco Starter Plugs
This run also marks my first experience using coco starter plugs.
The plugs were fully saturated with water and then gently squeezed to remove excess moisture while maintaining a healthy balance between water retention and oxygen availability.
The germinated seeds were carefully inserted into the plugs and placed inside a humidity dome.
The dome remained useful for only a short period.
In less than 24 hours the seedlings had already emerged and were ready to continue their journey.
At that point, they were transplanted directly into small containers filled with Plagron Lightmix.

## Environment
Environmental conditions were intentionally kept simple.
Temperatures remained around 26–27°C.
Humidity was maintained between approximately 65–70% using a Spider Farmer humidifier.
While many growers prefer keeping seedlings inside a dome for longer periods, I personally like introducing them relatively early to the environment they will actually experience during growth.
The idea is adaptation rather than dependence.
Airflow remains extremely gentle at this stage.
Just enough movement to keep fresh air circulating without creating unnecessary stress for young seedlings.

## Heat Mat Temperatures
The propagation mat was running around 40°C.
Although this number may initially appear high, the heat source itself must operate above the desired root-zone temperature in order to compensate for environmental losses and maintain stable conditions where the roots are actually developing.
The goal is not to expose the seedlings directly to excessive heat.
The goal is to create a warm, stable rooting environment that encourages fast and healthy germination.

## Lighting
Lighting during germination is intentionally soft.
Young seedlings simply do not require intense light levels yet.
The goal is healthy establishment rather than aggressive growth.
Once properly settled, these girls will move under the Future Of Grow Black Series 600W full-spectrum LED system where the real adventure begins.
We'll begin discussing PPFD and light intensity in more detail during the coming weeks as the plants become capable of utilizing stronger light levels effectively.

## First Observations
So far, everything is progressing exactly as hoped.
Fast germination.
Healthy taproots.
Strong emergence.
Good vigor.
Healthy color.
And perhaps most importantly:
A strong beginning.
At this stage, every plant remains a mystery waiting to reveal itself.
And honestly, that mystery is part of what makes growing so rewarding.
No matter how many seeds we start, each one still carries the potential to surprise us.

Vegetative Week 1 | Strong Foundations
Hello GrowDiaries family! 👋🌱
Welcome back to another chapter of this 12/12 From Seed project.
This week we turn our attention to Chem Brulee Pheno A as she completes her first full week of vegetative growth and begins establishing herself inside her final container.
Following a successful germination and smooth transplant, she has spent the week doing exactly what young plants should be doing: building roots, adapting to the environment, and slowly revealing the first signs of her individual personality.
And already, there are a few interesting things worth talking about.

One Week, One Home
As with every plant in this project, Chem Brulee Pheno A was transplanted directly into her final container shortly after germination.
Because this grow is being run under a 12/12 From Seed methodology, we prefer avoiding additional transplants later in the cycle whenever possible.
The objective is to allow uninterrupted root development from the very beginning.
Rather than spending energy recovering from multiple container changes, the plant can focus entirely on exploring its final root zone and building a strong foundation for the weeks ahead.
At this stage, what happens below the soil is just as important as what happens above it.

Building In Lightmix
For this run we continue using Plagron Lightmix as the base substrate.
Lightmix provides an excellent starting environment for young plants by combining gentle nutrition with good aeration and water retention.
Seedlings do not require aggressive feeding schedules.
They require stability.
Healthy roots.
Consistent moisture.
And an environment that allows them to develop naturally.
So far, Chem Brulee Pheno A appears very comfortable in her new home.

Water First, Then Nutrition
The first irrigation after transplant consisted of plain water only.
During the earliest stages of growth, seedlings continue relying heavily on the reserves stored within the seed itself while also benefiting from the nutrients already available in the substrate.
Around Day 4 we introduced a light feeding program consisting of:
🌱 Terra Grow
🌱 Pure Zym
🌱 Power Roots
🌱 Sugar Royal
All products were applied at gentle dosages designed to support root establishment and healthy early development without pushing growth beyond what the plant naturally wants to achieve.
The goal remains creating strong foundations rather than chasing rapid growth.

12/12 From Seed & Light Strategy
One aspect of this project that often generates questions is the lighting approach.
Even at this young age, Chem Brulee Pheno A is receiving approximately 350 PPFD.
Under traditional vegetative schedules this may seem relatively strong for a seedling.
However, because these plants are receiving only 12 hours of light per day, the total Daily Light Integral (DLI) remains considerably lower than under standard 18/6 schedules.
This allows us to introduce moderate light intensity early while keeping overall daily light exposure within a comfortable range.
The objective is adaptation rather than acceleration.
Strong light.
Controlled duration.
Balanced development.

Environmental Conditions
Conditions remained stable throughout the week:
🌡️ Day temperature: 27°C
🌙 Night temperature: approximately 25°C
💧 Relative humidity: 55%
🌱 Solution temperature: 21°C
🌱 Substrate temperature: 21°C
🌿 CO₂ levels: approximately 600 ppm
Consistency remains one of the most important tools available to a grower during the seedling stage, and so far the environment has remained exactly where we want it.

Early Observations
Among the phenotypes documented so far, Chem Brulee Pheno A immediately stands out for her vigor.
Growth has been steady and confident throughout the week.
Leaf expansion has progressed nicely, color remains healthy, and overall structure appears balanced and symmetrical.
By the end of the week we are already seeing beautifully formed leaf development with well-defined fingers beginning to emerge.
While it is still far too early to draw major conclusions, she gives the impression of a plant that is eager to grow.
Not stretched.
Not rushed.
Simply vigorous.
The kind of development that makes you excited to see what comes next.

Looking Ahead
As root development continues and nutrient uptake increases, we expect vegetative growth to accelerate over the coming week.
The next stage should provide a much clearer picture of the structural tendencies of this phenotype and help reveal whether this early vigor continues as the plant matures.
For now, everything is moving exactly in the right direction.

Hello everyone, and welcome back to another update from the 8×8 Adventure!
For those joining us for the first time, this project follows multiple Zamnesia cultivars and phenotypes grown side-by-side under a 12/12-from-seed schedule. Every phenotype receives its own dedicated diary so we can document individual development, compare expressions, and follow each plant’s unique journey from seed to harvest.
Rather than combining multiple plants into a single report, each phenotype receives its own diary. Even seeds from the same pack can express themselves differently, and documenting those differences is one of the most enjoyable parts of the project.
This run remains under a 12/12 light schedule from the very first day of life. The goal isn’t massive vegetative plants, but rather a complete seed-to-harvest exploration of genetic expression, plant structure, vigor, and flowering performance.
Week 2 Overview
The second week brought another excellent round of growth across the entire 8×8 Adventure.
The room continues settling into a comfortable rhythm, with all cultivars responding positively to the gradual increases in light intensity and nutrition. Seedlings are beginning their transition into young vegetative plants, and growth rates have noticeably accelerated compared to the first week.
Lighting intensity now sits around 370 µmol/m²/s throughout the room, providing plenty of energy while remaining perfectly appropriate for this stage of development.
Environmental conditions remained stable throughout the week:
• Light Schedule: 12/12
• Day Temperature: 27°C
• Night Temperature: 25°C
• Relative Humidity: 55%
• Solution Temperature: 20.1°C
• Substrate Temperature: 21°C
• CO₂: Ambient (~600 ppm)
Watering remained controlled and deliberate.
Each plant received approximately 250 ml on Day 8 and another 250 ml on Day 11.
Nutrient levels continued increasing gradually as the plants demonstrated they were ready for more food.
Week-ending values:
• EC: 0.9 mS/cm
• pH: 6.0
Current feeding schedule:
• Terra Grow – 1.8 ml/L
• Pure Zym – 1 ml/L
• Power Roots – 1 ml/L
• Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L
The response throughout the room has been excellent, with healthy color, strong growth, and no signs of nutrient stress.
Chem Brulee Pheno A
If Week 1 introduced us to Chem Brulee Pheno A, Week 2 allowed her personality to begin stepping into the spotlight.
This phenotype continues developing beautifully and already stands apart from many of the other plants in the room.
One characteristic immediately catches the eye.
The petioles—the stems connecting the leaves to the main stalk—are noticeably longer than many of the neighboring plants. This gives the canopy a more open and elegant appearance while allowing each leaf plenty of space to capture light.
Combined with her broad, rounded leaf shape, the result is a plant that feels distinct and recognizable even from across the room.
It’s one of those small details that makes phenotype hunting so fascinating.
Even at this young age, you can already see individual character beginning to emerge.
Development Notes
Growth throughout the week was strong and consistent.
The plant has now developed multiple sets of mature leaves, with beautiful five-finger leaves becoming well established.
Coloration remains excellent from top to bottom. New growth emerges healthy and vibrant, while older leaves maintain a rich green appearance that suggests the current feeding program is landing exactly where it should.
What stands out most is the structure.
The combination of those longer leaf stems and the broader leaf shape creates a plant that appears slightly more open and spacious than some of her neighbors.
Nothing looks stretched.
Nothing looks weak.
Instead, everything appears balanced and intentional.
She simply has her own architectural style.
And it is a very attractive one.
A Distinct Chem Brulee Expression
One of the joys of running multiple cultivars and phenotypes side by side is watching these differences reveal themselves week after week.
Chem Brulee Pheno A already feels unique.
While some plants focus on stacking tight growth close to the stem, this phenotype seems comfortable spreading her leaves outward and creating a broader visual footprint.
The result is a plant that looks both elegant and vigorous at the same time.
It is still early in the journey, but she is already becoming one of the more visually distinctive plants in the room.
Room Life
The humidifier continues working steadily to maintain stable humidity levels as plant biomass increases.
Environmental control remains one of the biggest priorities during these early stages, and the room is responding exactly as hoped.
The plants continue receiving stable conditions, gradual increases in nutrition, and appropriate light intensity as they establish themselves.
Mr. Baggy also remains hard at work carrying out his weekly inspection duties.
His responsibilities currently include:
• Monitoring plant development
• Supervising photography sessions
• Inspecting environmental conditions
• Providing motivational support
• Looking suspiciously important in photographs
Performance reviews remain ongoing.
Looking Ahead
If growth continues at the current pace, next week should bring:
• Additional node development
• Larger five-finger leaves
• Increased canopy width
• Stronger stem development
• Further phenotype differentiation
• Continued acceleration in overall growth
I am particularly curious to see how those longer leaf stems influence the plant’s structure as the canopy begins expanding.
It is already one of her defining characteristics and may become even more noticeable as she matures.
Final Thoughts
Week 2 has been another very encouraging step forward for Chem Brulee Pheno A.
Healthy color.
Strong growth.
Excellent response to feeding.
And perhaps most importantly, a unique structure that already distinguishes her from many of the neighboring plants.
The longer petioles, broad leaves, and open architecture give this phenotype a personality all her own.
She is healthy, vigorous, and steadily building a strong foundation for the weeks ahead.

Some plants demand attention through explosive growth.
Others earn it through elegance.
Chem Brulee Pheno A is beginning to look like one of those plants.
While several of her tent mates are building wider structures, this phenotype is expressing herself differently. The slightly longer internodal spacing creates a more open architecture, giving the plant a refined and balanced appearance without sacrificing vigor. Every node is clearly defined, every branch has room to breathe, and the overall structure already hints at a phenotype that may favor vertical development as flowering progresses.
What stands out most this week is the confidence of her growth. The main stem is thickening nicely, secondary shoots are emerging strongly from each node, and the newest growth displays that bright healthy green color that growers love to see during early vegetative development.
From above, the canopy remains symmetrical and organized. From the side, the increased spacing between nodes reveals the plant’s structure beautifully, making it easy to follow her development stage by stage. Rather than stacking tightly, she appears to be building a framework designed for future expansion.
The stem itself deserves mention. It has developed excellent thickness relative to the plant’s size and shows no signs of weakness despite the more open growth pattern. This combination of strong stem development and longer internodes often creates plants that are easy to manage and train later in the cycle.
The lower branches are already reaching outward with purpose, and new growth sites are becoming increasingly visible. Every node is beginning to establish its own potential future flowering site, laying the foundation for what should become a productive structure once the flowering stretch begins.

One detail I particularly appreciate about this phenotype is how clearly she displays her structure. These are often the plants that reveal their personality early and continue to surprise as flowering progresses.
For now, Chem Brulee Pheno A appears healthy, vigorous, and completely on schedule. She may not be the most compact plant in the room, but she is demonstrating exactly the kind of balanced growth that suggests strong genetic expression and excellent adaptation to her environment.
As always, Mr. Baggy remains on quality-control duty, carefully monitoring progress from somewhere nearby and ensuring every leaf receives the appropriate level of professional inspection.

Building Strength Before the Fireworks Begin
Welcome back to another chapter of my 8×8 Adventure, a project where twelve unique cultivars are sharing the exact same environment while every phenotype is documented individually throughout its entire life cycle.
Growing every plant under identical conditions allows each genetic to tell its own story, revealing the subtle differences in growth habits, structure, vigor, and personality that make phenotype hunting such an exciting experience.
This week we’re shining the spotlight on Chem Brûlée – Plant A, a lady that has quietly been building an impressive foundation while showing signs that she’s ready to become one of the standout plants in the room.
Every update she becomes a little bigger, a little stronger… and a little more interesting.

🌿 Life Inside the 8×8 Jungle
The environment continues to provide ideal conditions for healthy development across the entire garden.
This week the room has been running at approximately:

Despite the warmer temperatures, vigorous airflow keeps fresh air moving throughout the canopy while maintaining healthy transpiration. Every cultivar continues receiving exactly the same care, making the differences between genetics even more fascinating to observe.

Chem Brûlée continues receiving the same balanced feeding schedule as the rest of the garden.

The response has been excellent.
Healthy color, sturdy stems, and vigorous new growth suggest she’s making great use of everything available to her.

🌱 Growth & Development
This lady has really started to find her rhythm.
Over the past week she has put on noticeable vertical growth while maintaining a beautifully symmetrical structure. Every new node appears clean, evenly spaced, and packed with healthy growth.
One characteristic immediately catches my attention…
Those fan leaves.
They’re becoming absolutely enormous.
Each new set seems broader than the last, creating an impressive solar panel capable of capturing every bit of available light. The leaf color remains beautifully uniform, with rich green tones extending from the oldest foliage right into the newest growth.
Structurally she’s also beginning to separate herself from some of the other cultivars in the room.
Where others are stretching aggressively or branching heavily, Chem Brûlée seems determined to build a thick, balanced framework first.
She feels composed.
Confident.
Like she’s quietly preparing for something special later in flower.
Although she’s beginning to show increasing activity around the upper nodes, I’m still considering her firmly in vegetative growth as she continues investing her energy into building size and strength.

✂️ Training & Canopy Management
This week has been all about allowing the plant to develop naturally while making only small adjustments where necessary.
A little leaf tucking has helped expose developing side branches, allowing more light to penetrate deeper into the canopy without removing valuable foliage.
At this stage those massive fan leaves are working in her favor, fueling rapid growth while protecting the young shoots beneath.
Sometimes the best training is simply knowing when to leave a healthy plant alone.
Right now she’s rewarding that patience.

🚀 Looking Ahead
I’m genuinely excited to see where this phenotype decides to go.
Every week she’s revealing a little more character, and it’s becoming increasingly clear that she won’t simply blend into the rest of the room.
With her broad leaves, strong central stem, and balanced branching, I wouldn’t be surprised if she develops into one of the dominant plants inside the tent once flowering is fully underway.
For now, the plan remains simple:
Continue providing a stable environment.
Allow her natural vigor to lead the way.
Keep encouraging healthy structure without rushing her development.
Sometimes the strongest performers are the ones that spend a little more time building the foundation.

One of the greatest joys of this project is watching every cultivar write its own story.
Chem Brûlée isn’t trying to imitate anyone else in the room.
She’s growing at her own pace, building her own architecture, and showing characteristics that already make her stand apart from the crowd.

Everything points toward a plant with enormous potential.

Week 5 | Giant Leaves, Big Dreams
Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure!
If you’ve been following this project from the beginning, you’ll know that every phenotype is writing its own story. Although they all share the same room, the same environment, the same lighting schedule, and very similar nutrition, each plant continues to express herself in completely unique ways.
That’s exactly why I love phenotype hunts.
This project follows every plant individually using the 12/12 From Seed method, allowing each lady to decide for herself when she’s ready to leave vegetative growth behind and begin flowering.
This week…
Chem Brûlée Pheno A left absolutely no doubt.
Flowering has officially begun.

🌼 The First Flowers
One of the most exciting moments during any grow is seeing those first bright white pistils appear.
These delicate hairs are the female reproductive organs of the plant and mark the true beginning of flower production.
During these first weeks, the plant is shifting priorities.
Instead of investing all her energy into producing stems and leaves, she now begins building the framework that will eventually become dense, resin-coated flowers.
Every new white hair is another small step toward harvest.
It’s always an exciting stage to witness.

🍃 Those Incredible Fan Leaves
The first thing anyone notices about this phenotype…
Those leaves.
They’re absolutely enormous.
Some of these fan leaves are nearly twice the size of my own hands—and I definitely don’t have tiny hands!
Large fan leaves often indicate a plant that is photosynthesizing efficiently, capturing as much light energy as possible to fuel rapid development.
They’re essentially giant solar panels.
As long as they’re healthy, standing proudly, and maintaining a rich green colour, they’re doing exactly what nature designed them to do.
At this stage I prefer to let them work.
Every healthy leaf is another energy factory helping build the flowers that are only just beginning to form.

🌱 Gentle Training
Training continues to remain incredibly simple.
No aggressive bending.
No topping.
No heavy defoliation.
Instead, we’re relying mainly on gentle leaf tucking and subtle low-stress training to improve light penetration while allowing the plant to maintain her natural structure.
Sometimes the best training isn’t forcing a plant into shape.
Sometimes it’s simply helping her reveal the shape she already wanted to grow.
So far…
She’s rewarding that patience beautifully.

💧 AutoPot Life
Chem Brûlée Pheno A is growing on the AutoPot irrigation system.
Once the root system becomes established, the AquaValve automatically delivers nutrient solution from below whenever the plant drinks enough to lower the water level inside the tray.
There’s no timer.
No electricity controlling irrigation.
No daily watering routine.
The plant simply feeds herself whenever she needs it.
It’s a remarkably elegant system that encourages consistent moisture levels while reducing stress caused by repeated drying cycles.
This week I’ve also included photos comparing the nutrient solution used in the AutoPot reservoir with the hand-feeding mix used for the non-AutoPot plants.
Although the recipes are very similar, the EC differs slightly because plants growing on AutoPots receive a constant supply of nutrients, allowing for a more stable feeding strategy.
Every cultivation method has its own rhythm.
Learning those rhythms is part of becoming a better grower.

🍽️ Feeding Strategy
This week we adjusted the nutrition slightly to support the transition into flowering.
The bloom nutrients are now beginning to take over while still providing enough support for the final stretch before flower production accelerates.
As always, every adjustment is based on observation rather than routine.
Healthy plants tell you what they need.
You simply have to learn how to listen.

🌡️ Environmental Conditions
The room continues running beautifully.
Average conditions this week included:
• Day temperature: 31°C
• Night temperature: 25°C
• Relative humidity: 67%
• Nutrient solution: 21.6°C
• Root zone: 21°C
• CO₂: 639 ppm
Humidity remains slightly higher during this transitional phase because the plants are still producing large amounts of fresh vegetative growth while stretching into flower.
Over the coming weeks, humidity will gradually be reduced as flowers begin gaining density.
The room itself is really starting to come alive now.
Every day the canopy looks fuller, healthier, and more vibrant than the day before.
Watching an entire room evolve together never gets old.

📸 Capturing the Journey
This week’s update includes bird’s-eye views, side profiles, close-ups, and room shots to document every stage of Chem Brûlée A’s development.
One of my favourite details is simply seeing those giant fan leaves from different angles.
Months from now they’ll be part of the story, reminding us where this beautiful lady began before her canopy disappears beneath a forest of flowers.
That’s why I enjoy documenting everything.
Not just the destination…
But every step that leads there.

Next week I expect Chem Brûlée A to continue stretching while producing many more pistils across the canopy.
Bud sites should become more clearly defined, and the first signs of flower stacking will begin to appear.
Training will remain minimal, allowing her natural structure to continue developing while we simply guide her when necessary.
Sometimes the biggest changes happen quietly.
This feels like one of those moments.

Week 6 | Building Sweet Foundations
Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure!
One of the greatest rewards of growing multiple phenotypes side by side is watching each one reveal her own personality.
Some race into flower.
Others take their time.
Some grow broad, powerful leaves.
Others reach for the sky with elegant spacing between every node.
Chem Brûlée Pheno A continues to prove that she's a lady who likes to do things her own way.
Still growing under the 12/12 From Seed method, she has now settled comfortably into early flowering. The explosive stretch is beginning to slow, and all that energy is gradually being redirected toward what matters most now...
Building flowers.
Every day her structure becomes a little more defined, and every new pistil reminds us that this beautiful lady is only just getting started.

🌼 Early Flowers Becoming Real Bud Sites
One of the biggest changes this week isn't dramatic at first glance, but it's incredibly exciting once you know what you're looking for.
Last week we celebrated the appearance of the first white pistils.
This week those tiny flowers have begun gathering together, forming the first recognizable bud sites across the entire plant.
The main cola is starting to establish itself, while every branch is producing neat little clusters that will eventually connect into long, resin-coated flowers.
It's one of my favourite stages of any grow.
Everything is still delicate and full of promise, but you can already begin to imagine what she'll look like a few weeks from now.
The blueprint has been drawn.
Now the construction begins.

🍃 Those Beautiful Giant Leaves
If there is one feature that continues stealing the spotlight, it's those incredible fan leaves.
They're still enormous.
Wide, elegant and working around the clock as natural solar panels, capturing every available photon and converting it into energy for flower production.
This week I also noticed some of the older lower leaves becoming a lighter shade of green.
I'm not concerned.
During the transition into flowering it's common for vigorous plants to increase their nutrient demand while redirecting energy toward rapid growth and bud formation.
Rather than chasing perfection, I prefer listening carefully to what the plant is telling me.
We'll continue monitoring her closely, making small adjustments only when they're truly needed.
Healthy growing is about observation, not overreaction.
And overall...
This beautiful lady still looks full of life and determination.

🌱 AutoPot Doing Its Job
Chem Brûlée Pheno A continues thriving in the AutoPot system.
By allowing the plant to decide when she drinks, the root zone remains consistently supplied without the repeated wet-and-dry cycles of traditional watering.
One of the things I appreciate most about this system is how quietly it does its work.
There's no timer deciding when the plant should eat.
The plant makes that decision herself.
As her flowers continue developing and daily water consumption increases, the AutoPot will simply keep following her rhythm.
It's a partnership more than a watering system.

🍽️ Feeding This Week
This week's nutrient program continued supporting the transition deeper into flowering while maintaining enough nutrition for the final stages of the stretch.
The feeding schedule included:
• Terra Bloom – 1.9 ml/L
• Green Sensation – 1 ml/L
• Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L
• Power Buds – 1 ml/L
• pH adjustments using Lemon Kick when required
The focus now shifts gradually away from vegetative growth and toward flower production.
As always, changes are made carefully and based on the plant's response rather than following a fixed calendar.
Every phenotype speaks a slightly different language.
Learning to understand that language is one of the most enjoyable parts of growing.

This week's photographs capture a plant that is quietly entering a new chapter.
The towering fan leaves still dominate the canopy, but now they're sharing the stage with dozens of fresh flower sites emerging from every branch.
Looking back through previous weeks makes the transformation even more impressive.
What started as a young seedling has become a strong, elegant plant preparing for the busiest weeks of her life.
That's exactly why I enjoy documenting every stage.

Over the coming week I expect the flowers to become noticeably larger as more pistils emerge and the first signs of stacking begin.
The stretch should gradually come to an end, allowing the plant to invest more and more energy into flower production.

Sometimes the healthiest gardens aren't the ones where we intervene the most.

Week 7 | Listening to What the Plant Is Saying
Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure!
One of the biggest lessons this project continues teaching me is that every phenotype speaks its own language.
Some whisper.
Some shout.
Some ask for almost nothing.
And others aren't shy about telling you exactly what they need.
Chem Brûlée Pheno A definitely belongs to that second group.
Standing at around 120 cm, she's what I would consider a medium-sized indoor plant. She isn't trying to dominate the room with height, nor is she hiding beneath the canopy. Instead, she's growing with a beautiful balanced structure, allowing every branch plenty of space to develop its own flowers.
This week she reminded me that healthy cultivation isn't about forcing plants to follow our schedule.
It's about paying attention when they ask for something different.
🌿 A Plant That Isn't Afraid to Ask
One of the first things I noticed this week was the colour of some of the older foliage.
Several lower fan leaves continued becoming lighter green than the rest of the canopy, clearly telling me that this phenotype wanted a little more nutrition than she had been receiving.
Rather than seeing this as a problem, I see it as communication.
One of the fascinating parts of growing twelve different cultivars side by side is discovering that every plant processes nutrients slightly differently. They all share the same AutoPot reservoir, the same environment, the same lighting and the same feeding schedule, yet each one responds according to its own genetics.
Chem Brûlée simply happens to be one of the hungrier ladies in the room.
The good news is that after increasing the EC for the entire reservoir, she's already beginning to respond beautifully. The newest growth is noticeably greener and healthier, giving me confidence that we made the right adjustment at exactly the right time.
Sometimes plants don't need dramatic interventions.
They simply need us to listen.
🌼 Building Beautiful Flowers
While the foliage has been asking for a little extra attention, the flowers certainly haven't slowed down.
The main cola continues becoming more defined every day, while bud sites keep stacking along every branch throughout the plant.
Fresh white pistils continue emerging everywhere, and it's becoming easier to imagine the shape these flowers will eventually take over the coming weeks.
The stretch is now beginning to slow.
Flower production is taking over.
Every day a little less energy goes into growing taller, and a little more goes into building beautiful colas.
This is where the fun really begins.
🍃 Letting the Plant Lead
Apart from increasing the nutrient strength, this has been another calm week inside the tent.
No heavy defoliation.
No unnecessary training.
Just careful observation and a little leaf tucking whenever needed to expose developing flower sites.
I've learned that during these early flowering weeks, patience usually gives better results than constantly reaching for the scissors.
The plant already has a plan.
Sometimes my job is simply to stay out of her way.
🍽️ Feeding
After seeing this phenotype asking for a little more nutrition, the reservoir strength was increased for the entire room.
This week's feeding consisted of:
• Terra Bloom – 2 ml/L
• Green Sensation – 1 ml/L
• Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L
• Power Buds – 1 ml/L
Along with small pH adjustments using Lemon Kick whenever necessary.
Since every AutoPot shares the same nutrient reservoir, individual feeding isn't possible. Fortunately, the entire room was ready for the increase, meaning Chem Brûlée benefits from the adjustment alongside all of her sisters.

The flowering room continues running beautifully stable.
• Day temperature averaged 29°C
• Night temperature remained around 25°C
• Relative humidity averaged 60%
• Solution temperature stayed close to 22°C
• Root zone remained near 21°C
• Atmospheric CO₂ averaged 639 ppm
Providing the plants with a stable environment allows them to dedicate their energy toward producing flowers instead of constantly adapting to changing conditions.
Consistency continues to be one of the biggest advantages in this grow.
📸 Behind This Week's Photos
This week's photographs tell a wonderful story.
The close-up shots reveal beautiful clusters of fresh white pistils beginning to stack into proper flower sites, while the wider images showcase a very balanced plant with elegant branching and excellent spacing throughout the canopy.
You can also spot the lighter colour on some of the older leaves that first caught my attention this week, but the newest growth already looks healthier and much richer in colour.
It's always satisfying when the plant immediately shows you that she's appreciating the changes you've made.
Sometimes photographs become more than memories.
They become conversations between grower and plant.
🔍 Looking Ahead
Next week should bring another exciting step in her development.
I expect the flowers to continue stacking as the stretch gradually comes to an end and the plant shifts almost entirely into flower production.
I'll also be watching the foliage closely, hoping to see that healthier green colour continue spreading now that the feeding has been increased.
The plan remains exactly the same.
Maintain a stable environment.
Keep the reservoir consistent.
Observe carefully.
And let the plant do what she does best.
Sometimes growing isn't about constantly changing things.
Sometimes it's about making one good decision and giving nature the time to respond.

Week 8 | Knowing When to Let Go
Welcome back to another week of the 8×8 Adventure! 🌱💚
Last week, Chem Brûlée Pheno A reminded me that every phenotype speaks its own language. This week, she had another message:
Some leaves had simply done their job.
At around 126 cm, she's continuing to develop beautifully, with her flowering sites becoming more defined and those beautiful white pistils multiplying across the plant.
And as the flowers become the main event, it was time to give her a little more room to breathe.
🌿 Quick Recap
Chem Brûlée Pheno A continues to be one of the more elegant plants in the room.
She's maintained a strong, balanced structure with good spacing between flowering sites, while her flowers are steadily stacking along the branches.
Compared with last week, the transition is becoming very clear:
Less stretch.
More flower.
More pistils.
More resin.
The plant is increasingly putting her energy into building flowers rather than producing new structure.
And that's exactly what we want to see at this stage.
✂️ A Little Cleaning Up
This week we decided it was time for some selective defoliation.
There were several older fan leaves that were no longer contributing much to the canopy. Some were sitting underneath other foliage, creating unnecessary shade, while others were simply aging and no longer playing an important role in the plant's current development.
So rather than removing leaves just for the sake of making the plant look cleaner, we focused on removing what was no longer useful.
The goal wasn't to strip her down.
It was simply to improve:
Light penetration
Air movement
Visibility of developing flowers
Canopy organization
Overall efficiency of the plant
This is one of those moments where less really can be more.
We're not trying to redesign the plant.
We're simply helping her use the space she's already created.
🌸 White Hairs Taking Over
The flowers are now becoming impossible to ignore.
Fresh white pistils are emerging everywhere, wrapping around the developing buds and giving the entire plant that unmistakable early-to-mid flowering appearance.
The individual flower sites are becoming much more pronounced, and the main colas are beginning to show their future shape.
There's still plenty of development ahead, but we're moving beyond the stage of simply forming flowers.
Now we're watching them build.
And that's always one of my favourite parts of the journey.
🍃 The Foliage
After last week's nutritional adjustment, the newer growth continues looking healthy and strong.
The deep green leaves are still carrying plenty of energy, while the older foliage that had begun fading naturally is now being removed where appropriate.
This is another good reminder of why I prefer to watch the whole plant rather than judge one leaf in isolation.
A plant doesn't need every single leaf to remain perfect until harvest.
Sometimes an older leaf has simply completed its mission.
And that's okay.

The AutoPot system continues providing consistent irrigation throughout the room.
This week's nutrient mix remains:
Plagron Terra Bloom – 2.2 ml/L
Plagron Green Sensation – 1 ml/L
Plagron Power Buds – 1 ml/L
Plagron Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L
pH adjustment with Lemon Kick / pH Plus when required
The reservoir remains shared across the room, so consistency is especially important.
Chem Brûlée is responding beautifully to the current feeding strategy.

This week's photographs really show the transition.
The close-ups capture those beautiful white pistils exploding from the developing flowers, while the wider shots show how much the plant has changed as flowering progresses.
And after the selective defoliation, the architecture of the plant becomes easier to appreciate.
The flowers aren't hidden behind quite as much unnecessary foliage anymore.
They're there.
They're developing.
And they're asking for time.
🔍 Looking Ahead
Next week, I'm expecting the flowers to become increasingly dense and defined.
The remaining stretch should be minimal now, while the plant continues putting energy into flower development and resin production.
What I don't expect is dramatic intervention.
No major training.
No unnecessary stripping.
No trying to force her into a shape she doesn't naturally want.
We'll continue monitoring the foliage, keeping the environment stable, maintaining the reservoir and making only the adjustments the plant actually asks for.
At this stage, the best thing we can give her is consistency and time.

Welcome back to another week of the 8×8 Adventure! 💚🌱
And this week, Chem Brûlée Pheno A has something very simple to say:
You don't have to be the biggest plant in the room to be one of the most beautiful.
At approximately 126 cm, she certainly isn't the smallest plant in the garden.
But she's also not trying to become the biggest.
She's simply doing her thing.
Growing.
Flowering.
Stacking.
And increasingly covering herself in frost.
And honestly...
she's beautiful. 🍮❄️
🌱 A Quick Look Back
Chem Brûlée Pheno A continues to be one of those plants that has developed her own identity throughout this adventure.
From the beginning, we've watched her establish a strong structure and gradually transition from producing plant architecture to putting more and more energy into flowers.
Last week, we gave her a little selective cleanup.
Not because the calendar told us to.
Not because we wanted to make her look "perfect."
But because some leaves had simply reached the end of their useful contribution, while opening a little space around the canopy made sense.
And that's the approach we're continuing with.
Read the plant.
Respond to the plant.
Then let her grow.
This week, the result is becoming increasingly obvious.
The plant is settling into flower.
And the flowers are becoming the stars of the show.
🌸 The Flowers Are Taking Over
This is where Chem Brûlée really starts to shine.
The developing flowers are becoming much more pronounced now, with increasingly defined structures throughout the plant.
Those beautiful white pistils are still reaching out from the flowers, but something else is becoming much harder to miss.
The frost.
❄️❄️❄️
The resin coverage is building.
Looking at the close-up photographs, you can see that the sugar leaves and developing flowers are becoming increasingly coated.
We're still not at the finished product, of course.
There is plenty of flowering time ahead.
But we're definitely entering that stage where you can start seeing the plant's character developing through the resin.
And that's one of my favourite transitions in the entire grow.
Early flower is exciting because the flowers appear.
Mid flower becomes exciting because suddenly you start seeing what those flowers might become.
Chem Brûlée is entering that territory now.
❄️ Frost Is Coming
If I had to choose one word for this week's photographic update...
Frost.
😂❄️
The resin production is becoming increasingly visible, and the close-ups really capture it.
Those developing flowers are surrounded by sparkling trichome-covered surfaces, while the pistils continue creating that beautiful contrast against the green foliage.
It's still early enough that the plant has plenty of work to do.
But we're getting the first real glimpse of what makes this phenotype special.
And I have to admit...
I could probably spend far too much time standing there with the macro lens looking at her.
One photograph becomes ten.
Ten becomes twenty.
And suddenly I've been standing in the jungle taking pictures of one flower for half an hour.

But that's part of the fun.
🌿 She Doesn't Need to Be the Biggest
One thing I really want to emphasize with Chem Brûlée Pheno A is that I'm not judging her against the tallest plants in the room.
Yes, there are girls in the 8×8 Adventure who are taller.
Some have stretched more.
Some occupy more physical space.
But that's not the only measurement of a successful plant.
Chem Brûlée has created her own structure.
She's filling the space she's been given.
She's producing flowering sites throughout that structure.
And now those flowers are developing beautifully.
That's what matters.
A phenotype doesn't have to win the height competition.
She just needs to show us what she can do.
And she's doing exactly that.
🔬 Her Structure Is Becoming More Interesting
The further we move into flowering, the easier it becomes to understand the architecture she created earlier in the run.
The branches are now carrying developing flowers rather than simply supporting vegetative growth.
The spacing between the flowering sites gives us a good view of the individual structures, while the remaining foliage continues supporting the plant through this important stage.
And this is where the earlier selective training and cleaning start making more sense.
We're no longer trying to create the plant.
The plant has already created herself.
Now we're simply supporting the structure she chose.
That's something I really enjoy about this run.
The grower starts with an idea.
The plant then says:
"That's nice... but here's what I'm actually going to do." 😂
And our job is to adapt.
✂️ Selective Cleaning – Keep It Sensible
The selective defoliation from last week has left the plant with a little more breathing room without compromising the healthy canopy.
And we're going to continue treating defoliation as a tool rather than a scheduled event.
If a leaf is blocking an important flowering site...
we can remove it.
If a leaf is damaged or no longer contributing...
we can remove it.
If a part of the canopy is becoming unnecessarily crowded...
we can open it.
But if a healthy leaf is doing exactly what we want it to do?
Let her work. 🌿
There's no reason to remove healthy foliage simply because we're in flower.
The goal is balance.
Enough foliage to support the plant.
Enough space for light and airflow.
And enough openness to avoid creating unnecessary dense pockets around the developing flowers.
It's a living canopy, not a haircut appointment. 😂✂️
💨 Airflow & Flower Development
As the flowers continue increasing in size and density, airflow becomes increasingly important.
The room is carrying twelve different plants, and every phenotype creates its own microclimate.
That's another reason I like keeping an eye on canopy density rather than treating every plant identically.
Chem Brûlée has plenty of foliage, but we're keeping an eye on the areas where leaves and flowers begin getting too crowded.
A little extra space can help air move through the plant.
And as the flowers continue developing, that's something I definitely want.
We're not trying to eliminate every gram of humidity from the room.
We're simply trying to avoid unnecessary stagnant pockets around increasingly dense flowers.
Healthy airflow is part of the overall strategy.
💡 Light – Give the Flowers What They Need
The lighting setup continues providing the room with strong overhead illumination, while the additional inner and under-canopy lighting helps support areas that naturally receive less light.
And Chem Brûlée's structure gives us plenty of interesting angles to work with.
The developing flowers aren't all sitting at exactly the same height.
They're distributed throughout the plant.
That means the combination of canopy structure and supplemental lighting becomes particularly useful.
The objective isn't simply:
"More light."
It's:
"Useful light reaching as much of the productive plant as reasonably possible."
And that's an important distinction.
More isn't automatically better.
We're looking for balance between light intensity, temperature, CO₂, nutrition and plant health.
Right now, she appears very comfortable with the environment she's receiving.
⚗️ Feeding – No Need to Reinvent Anything
The feeding strategy remains consistent with last week.
We're continuing with:
🌱 Plagron Terra Bloom – 2.2 ml/L
🌱 Plagron Green Sensation – 1 ml/L
🌱 Plagron Power Buds – 1 ml/L
🌱 Plagron Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L
With Lemon Kick / pH Plus used as required to maintain the target pH.
Current solution:
⚗️ pH – approximately 6.0
⚡ EC – approximately 2.0 mS/cm
And once again, I'm not interested in changing something just because another week has passed.
She's growing.
She's flowering.
She's producing resin.
She's maintaining beautiful foliage.
Those are all good reasons to stay consistent.
The plants don't receive extra points for having their nutrient recipe changed every seven days.
Sometimes the best adjustment is:
no adjustment.

The environment remains stable, and that stability is particularly valuable now.
We're moving further into flower.
The flowers are becoming denser.
Resin production is increasing.
And consistency gives the plants the opportunity to focus on development rather than constantly adapting to environmental changes.
🌙 Day vs Night
One thing I continue paying attention to is the relationship between the daytime and nighttime conditions.
We're running around 29°C during the day and 25°C at night, giving us a noticeable but controlled temperature difference.
That daily rhythm is part of the overall environment rather than something we're looking at in isolation.
Temperature, humidity, light intensity, CO₂ and plant transpiration all interact.
And that's why I prefer looking at the room as a system.
You can change one number and accidentally change several other things along with it.
For now, the system is behaving nicely.
So once again...
don't fix what isn't broken.
📸 Behind the Lens
This week's photographs really made me appreciate her.
The wider photographs show the plant's overall structure.
But the close-ups?
That's where she really starts showing off.
The developing flowers are becoming increasingly complex.
The pistils are still beautiful and prominent.
And the resin is beginning to give the flowers that characteristic frosted appearance.
There are moments where I look through the camera and think:
"Okay... now I see you."

That's what makes documenting a grow so rewarding.
The plant changes gradually enough that when you see her every day, you don't always notice how much has happened.
Then you compare photographs from previous weeks...
and suddenly the difference is obvious.
🌿 My Little Jungle
And honestly, I'm having an absolute blast with this run.
There are twelve plants in there.
Twelve different personalities.
Twelve different structures.
And now twelve different flowering stories developing in front of me.
I walk into that room and sometimes feel like I'm Tarzan wandering around his little jungle. 😂🌿
Checking flowers.
Looking underneath leaves.
Watching the canopy.
Taking photographs.
Looking for anything unusual.
And most importantly...
learning.
That's what this entire adventure has become for me.
Every plant teaches something.
Every phenotype gives us another comparison.
Every week gives us another opportunity to adapt.
And Chem Brûlée Pheno A is teaching us that beauty doesn't need to come from size.
Sometimes it's sitting right there in the flowers.
Covered in frost.
Waiting for you to notice.
🔮 Looking Ahead
The next week should be another interesting step forward.
I'm expecting:

Honestly...
Not much.

I'll clean selectively if the plant gives me a reason to.
And I'll keep photographing her.
Because at this stage, patience is becoming increasingly important.
We've built the structure.
We've established the flowers.
Now we let Chem Brûlée put the work into them.
🍮 Small? No. Her Own Kind of Beautiful.
That's probably the biggest message I take from this week.
Chem Brûlée Pheno A may not be the biggest girl in the room.
But stand in front of her.
Look closely.
Look at the flowers.
Look at the structure.
Look at the pistils.
Look at that frost beginning to build.
She's doing her thing.
And she's doing it beautifully.
There is no reason for her to compete with another phenotype.
She doesn't need to be taller.
She doesn't need to be wider.
She doesn't need to stretch another twenty centimetres just so we can call her impressive.
She's already impressive.
Because she's becoming herself.
And that's exactly what this 8×8 Adventure is all about.
💚 One More Week, One More Lesson
Every week I become more convinced that growing is less about controlling plants and more about learning how to understand them.
We create the environment.
We provide the light.
We provide the nutrition.
We provide water.
We make adjustments when necessary.
But ultimately...
the plant decides what she's going to become.
Chem Brûlée Pheno A has made her decision.
She's going to be elegant.
She's going to be beautiful.
She's going to build flowers.
And apparently...

Welcome back to another week of the 8×8 Adventure! 💚🌱
And this girl...
She's still shining.
Not because she's trying to be like anybody else.
Not because she's following some predetermined script.
But because Chem Brûlée Pheno A has developed a personality all of her own.
She's unique.
She's distinctive.
And the further we move into flower, the more that individuality becomes obvious.
Every week, I look at her and think:
"Okay... let's see where you're going next."
And honestly?
I have no idea exactly where she's going.
But I'm really enjoying the journey.
So this week, we're keeping things simple.
We're watching.
We're supporting.
We're keeping the environment as stable as possible.
We're letting the LEDs keep throwing photons into the jungle.
And most importantly...
We're giving this beautiful girl the spotlight. 🍮❄️🌸
🌱 Week 10 – Still Writing Her Own Story
Chem Brûlée Pheno A is sitting at approximately 126 cm, and by now her overall character is pretty unmistakable.
She's not the plant that makes you stop because she's enormous.
She's not trying to win some imaginary height competition.
She's simply developed into her own version of Chem Brûlée.
And that's exactly what makes phenotype hunting so interesting.
You start with a genetic name.
Then you grow the plant.
And eventually, the plant starts telling you what that name means in her particular case.
This girl has definitely introduced herself.
She's got her own structure.
Her own flower formation.
Her own expression.
Her own rhythm.
And I like it.
Very much.
🌸 The Flowers Keep Getting More Beautiful
The biggest change this week is, once again, happening where it matters most:
the flowers.
They're becoming more established.
More defined.
More substantial.
And those beautiful white hairs continue standing proudly out from the developing buds.
The photographs really capture that progression.
We're no longer looking at tiny early flowering sites.
We're watching proper flower structures develop throughout the plant.
And there's something really satisfying about seeing those individual flowers slowly becoming more recognizable week after week.
They're still developing.
There's still plenty of time for them to change.
But the direction is beautiful.
And I genuinely want to see where she takes them.

❄️ And Yes... She's Still Bringing the Frost
The frost is also becoming increasingly noticeable.
That developing resin coverage gives the flowers another layer of character, especially when you get the camera close.
This is where photography becomes such a fantastic part of the grow.
From across the room, you see:
Chem Brûlée.
Through the macro lens, you see:
Chem Brûlée Pheno A.
The little details start appearing.
The trichome-covered surfaces.
The pistils.
The sugar leaves.
The developing flower structure.
Suddenly, the phenotype becomes much more than a plant in a pot.
She becomes a collection of tiny details that you can follow from week to week.
And that's exactly what I love about this diary.

💡 Let's Talk About Photons Again
Because this week, just like throughout the other individual diaries, I want to give some attention to something that we can't actually see...
the photons.
We see the LEDs.
We see the flowers.
We see the leaves.
But we don't see the photons travelling between them.
And yet those photons are one of the fundamental pieces of this entire story.
The Future of Grow Black Series LEDs are essentially creating our artificial sun.
Photons are being emitted from the fixtures and travelling into the canopy.
The leaves intercept that light.
Photosynthesis turns captured light energy into chemical energy.
And that energy supports the plant's ongoing growth and development.
So when I look at Chem Brûlée's beautiful green foliage and developing flowers, I'm also looking at the visible result of an enormous amount of invisible work happening every day.
That's pretty damn cool.

☀️ The Artificial Sun Above Her
The Future of Grow lighting is doing something particularly interesting in this room because we're not growing just one plant.
We're growing twelve different genetic expressions under the same general artificial sun.
The photons don't care which cultivar they're reaching.
They simply arrive.
Then the genetics respond.
And that's where the experiment becomes fascinating.
One plant becomes compact.
Another stretches.
One develops a particular flower structure.
Another produces something completely different.
One phenotype takes her time.
Another seems to have somewhere very important to be. 😂
Same room.
Same general lighting philosophy.
Different genetic responses.
And Chem Brûlée Pheno A?
She's giving us her answer.
And I really like what I'm seeing.
💡 Photons Are Part of the Whole Environment
And I don't look at light as something that exists separately from the rest of the room.
The photons interact with everything.
More available light influences plant demand.
Plant demand influences water use and nutrient uptake.
Light contributes to the energy balance of the canopy.
The canopy influences temperature and humidity around the foliage.
And the structure of the plant determines how efficiently that light can move through it.
It's all connected.
That's why I love the idea of thinking about the grow as a complete system rather than a collection of individual numbers.
Light.
Temperature.
Humidity.
CO₂.
Water.
Nutrition.
Root-zone conditions.
Plant structure.
Everything talks to everything else.
And the photons are right in the middle of that conversation.

🌿 She's Becoming More Herself Every Week
This is probably my favourite thing about this phenotype right now.
She's becoming more recognizable.
Not necessarily because she's changing dramatically from one week to the next.
But because the small characteristics are becoming stronger.
Her flower structure.
Her pistils.
Her resin.
Her architecture.
Her overall expression.
It's like watching a photograph slowly come into focus.
At the beginning of the grow, there were possibilities.
Now?
We're getting an increasingly clear picture of who she is.
And she's definitely unique.
That's what I wanted from this project.
Not twelve identical plants.
I wanted to see what happens when different genetics and phenotypes are given the same opportunity.
And Chem Brûlée Pheno A is giving us a very interesting answer.

So the goal isn't obsessing over every tiny movement.
It's maintaining a stable enough environment that the plants can continue doing their work without unnecessary stress.
And right now?
Chem Brûlée appears perfectly happy to keep working.
⚗️ Nutrition – Consistency Wins Again
We're also keeping the feeding strategy consistent.
Current nutrition remains:

Sometimes consistency is the most useful thing a grower can provide.
💨 Let the Canopy Breathe
As flowering continues, we're naturally paying attention to canopy density and airflow.
The plant has plenty of foliage, but we're not interested in removing leaves simply because they're there.
Healthy leaves are working.
They're capturing photons.
They're contributing to photosynthesis.
They're part of the plant's engine.
So any canopy management is about purpose.
If something becomes unnecessarily crowded, we'll look at it.
If something is blocking an important area, we'll consider it.
But otherwise?
Let her work.
The objective isn't to create the emptiest plant possible.
It's to create a healthy, functional canopy where light, air and plant structure can work together.
📸 Behind the Lens
And once again...
Chem Brûlée Pheno A is making the camera very happy.

The close-ups are becoming increasingly rewarding.
Those white hairs are beautiful.
The flower formation is becoming more obvious.
The resin coverage is developing.
And the structure of the plant is becoming easier to appreciate.
Then you step back...
and you see the whole girl.
That's the magic of documenting a plant over time.
One photograph shows a moment.
Ten weeks of photographs show a story.
And hers is becoming a very interesting one.
🍮 Unique Is the Word
If I had to choose one word for Chem Brûlée Pheno A this week?
Unique.
She's not trying to fit a template.
She's not trying to look like another phenotype.
She's not trying to follow somebody else's timeline.
She's simply expressing herself.
And I really like that.
Because when you have twelve plants in the same room, you quickly learn that there isn't one single definition of "beautiful."
There's tall.
There's short.
There's compact.
There's stretched.
There's dense.
There's open.
There's fast.
There's slow.
And then there are plants like this one...
where you stop comparing entirely.
You simply look at her and say:
"That's you."
And I think that's where Chem Brûlée Pheno A is now.
🔮 Looking Ahead – Where Are You Going, Girl?
And now I'm genuinely curious.
Where does she go from here?
How much more will those flowers develop?
How much more will the resin build?
How will the structure change as the flowers continue to mature?
How will her final expression compare with what we imagined back when she was just a small plant?
I don't know yet.
And that's the fun part.
We're not at the end of the story.
We're somewhere in the middle...
watching the next chapter unfold.

Chem Brûlée Pheno A is becoming one of those plants where I don't really want to predict too much.
I want to watch.
Because she's already shown us that she's different.
She's unique.
She's developing beautifully.
Her flowers are taking shape.
Those white hairs are becoming one of her most recognizable features.
The frost is building.
The canopy is working.
And above everything...
she's becoming herself.
That's what I love about this project.
We provide the environment.
We provide the water.
We provide the nutrition.
We provide the artificial sun.
We fill the room with photons.
And then the plant takes all of that...
and writes her own story.
