## Germination Week | A New Journey Begins
Hello GrowDiaries family! ๐๐ฑ
Welcome to another new diary and another new adventure.
As some of you may have noticed, I've recently changed the way I'm documenting my grows. With the current photo limitations on GrowDiaries, each phenotype now receives its own dedicated diary rather than sharing a single journal with its sisters.
The goal remains exactly the same as always:
To document the entire process honestly and thoroughly from seed to harvest while sharing observations, techniques, successes, mistakes, and lessons learned along the way.
The only difference is that now each phenotype gets its own space to tell its story.
And today, that story begins with Chem Brulee Pheno B.
---
## The Beginning of Something New
Every grow starts the same way.
A small seed.
A huge amount of potential.
And a lot of curiosity.
For this run, we're following Chem Brulee from Zamnesia Seeds, cultivated under a 12/12 from seed schedule from the very first day of life.
A method that is a little different from what most growers choose, but one that has become part of my own cultivation style over time.
Throughout this diary, I'll do my best to explain not only what I'm doing, but also why I'm doing it, allowing anyone interested to follow the process from beginning to end.
Because growing is not only about results.
It's also about understanding the journey.
---
## Germination With the Cannakan System
To begin this run, I used the Cannakan germination system.
For anyone unfamiliar with it, the Cannakan is a compartmentalized germination container designed to keep multiple cultivars organized while providing a stable environment for germination.
Each section can be individually labeled, making it easy to track multiple genetics simultaneously.
The seeds were placed inside using only plain water.
Nothing more.
No nutrients.
No additives.
No rooting products.
Just water.
Approximately 24 hours later, healthy taproots had already emerged and the seeds were ready for the next stage.
Simple.
Efficient.
Exactly what we hope to see.
---
## Why I Use Only Water During Germination
A common question during germination is why I choose not to introduce nutrients immediately.
The answer is simple.
The seed already contains everything required to begin life.
Nature prepared that package long before we ever became involved.
Inside that tiny shell are the resources needed to establish roots and begin early growth.
At this stage, I prefer allowing the seed to use those natural reserves.
The objective is not to feed the plant.
The objective is simply to wake it up.
Water is enough.
---
## First Experience Using Coco Starter Plugs
This run also marks my first experience using coco starter plugs.
The plugs were fully hydrated and then gently squeezed to remove excess water while still maintaining plenty of moisture and oxygen.
Once germinated, the seeds were carefully inserted into the plugs and placed inside a humidity dome.
The dome was only needed briefly.
Within less than 24 hours the seedlings had already emerged and were showing healthy development.
At that point, they were transplanted into small containers filled with Plagron Lightmix.
---
## Environmental Conditions
The environment during germination was intentionally simple and stable.
Temperatures remained around 26โ27ยฐC.
Humidity was maintained between approximately 65โ70% using a Spider Farmer humidifier.
While many growers prefer keeping seedlings inside high-humidity domes for extended periods, I personally prefer introducing them relatively early to the environment they will actually experience throughout their life cycle.
The goal is adaptation rather than prolonged protection.
Airflow was kept extremely gentle.
Just enough movement to keep the air fresh without creating stress for young seedlings.
---
## Heat Mat Temperatures
The propagation mat was operating around 40ยฐC.
Although that number may sound high at first, the heat source itself must run above the desired root-zone temperature in order to compensate for environmental losses.
The seedlings are not exposed directly to 40ยฐC.
Instead, the mat provides a stable source of warmth that helps maintain ideal rooting conditions and encourages rapid germination.
The goal is consistency.
And seeds love consistency.
---
## Lighting
Lighting during germination is intentionally kept soft.
Young seedlings do not require intense light levels.
The objective is healthy establishment rather than aggressive growth.
Once these girls become properly established, they will move under the Future Of Grow Black Series 600W full-spectrum LED system where the next stage of the adventure begins.
We'll start discussing PPFD, light intensity, and environmental adjustments in greater detail during the coming weeks.
For now, healthy beginnings remain the priority.
---
## First Impressions
Everything has progressed exactly as hoped so far.
Fast germination.
Healthy taproots.
Strong emergence.
Healthy color.
Good vigor.
And perhaps most importantly:
A clean start.
At this stage, every seedling is still a mystery.
No one knows exactly how a phenotype will develop.
And honestly, that's one of the most enjoyable parts of growing.
Every plant has its own personality waiting to emerge.
---
## Looking Forward
Over the coming weeks we'll follow Chem Brulee Pheno B through its early development and beyond.
We'll explore:
- Root development
- Plant structure
- Environmental management
- Watering practices
- Light intensity
- Growth observations
- And any unique traits this phenotype decides to reveal
Because every seed begins with potential.
The journey ahead determines how that potential unfolds.
This is only the beginning.
Huge thanks to Zamnesia Seeds for the genetics, Plagron for the substrate and nutrition, Future Of Grow for the lighting, and everyone joining along for another grow from seed to harvest.
Grower's Love everyone. ๐ฑ๐

Vegetative Week 1 | The Little Rebel
Hello GrowDiaries family! ๐๐ฑ
Welcome back to another week of this 12/12 From Seed project.
Today weโre taking a look at Chem Brulee Pheno B as she completes her first full week of life and begins settling into her final home.
As with all plants in this run, the environmental conditions, feeding schedule, substrate, and cultivation approach remain identical across the room. The objective is simple: provide every phenotype with the same starting conditions and allow their individual genetics to tell the story.
And already, Chem Brulee Pheno B is beginning to tell hers.
โธป
Starting Life In Her Final Container
Following germination, Chem Brulee Pheno B was transplanted directly into her final container filled with Plagron Lightmix.
Because this project follows a 12/12 From Seed methodology, we prefer minimizing unnecessary stress during the early stages of development.
By giving each seedling its final home immediately, the roots can begin exploring the entire container from day one without requiring additional transplants later in the cycle.
The goal remains simple:
Healthy roots.
Consistent growth.
Minimal interruptions.
So far, she appears to have settled in very comfortably.
โธป
Light Feeding For Early Development
The first irrigation consisted only of water, allowing the seedling to establish itself naturally while utilizing the nutrients already present within the seed and substrate.
After several days we introduced our gentle starter feeding program consisting of:
๐ฑ Terra Grow
๐ฑ Pure Zym
๐ฑ Power Roots
๐ฑ Sugar Royal
All products were applied at light dosages designed to encourage root development and healthy early growth without overwhelming the young plant.
At this stage we are building foundations rather than chasing speed.
โธป
Environmental Conditions
The room remained stable throughout the week:
๐ก๏ธ Day temperature: 27ยฐC
๐ Night temperature: 25ยฐC
๐ง Relative humidity: 55%
๐ฑ Solution temperature: 21ยฐC
๐ฑ Substrate temperature: 21ยฐC
๐ฟ COโ levels: approximately 600 ppm
Lighting remained at approximately 350 PPFD under a 12/12 schedule.
Although this intensity may appear relatively high for young seedlings, the reduced photoperiod means total daily light exposure remains moderate when compared to traditional 18/6 vegetative schedules.
This allows the plants to adapt early to stronger light levels while maintaining a balanced Daily Light Integral (DLI).
โธป
A Phenotype With Character
If there is one thing that immediately stands out about Chem Brulee Pheno B, it is her unusual leaf development.
From the very beginning she displayed slightly elongated, narrow, and somewhat unusual first leaves compared to her sister.
At first glance she almost appears a little quirky.
A little rebellious.
The kind of seedling that makes growers stop and think:
โWellโฆ youโre certainly doing things your own way.โ
And that is exactly what makes phenotype hunting so enjoyable.
Not every plant develops identically, even when grown side by side under identical conditions.
Sometimes the most interesting plants are the ones that refuse to follow expectations.
โธป
Strong Progress Despite The Weirdness
What is particularly encouraging is that despite the unusual leaf structure, overall development has remained healthy throughout the week.
Growth has been steady.
Color remains vibrant.
New growth continues appearing consistently.
And by the end of the week we are already seeing the emergence of a nicely formed three-finger leaf set above those original, slightly unusual leaves.
This is often where the true personality of a plant begins to reveal itself.
While her early leaf morphology may look different, the newer growth already appears more structured and confident.
For now, there are no concerns.
Only curiosity.
And excitement.
โธป
Looking Ahead
The coming week should provide a much clearer picture of where this phenotype wants to go.
Will the unusual leaf characteristics continue?
Will she grow out of them completely?
Or will they become part of her defining personality?
That is one of the joys of documenting individual phenotypes from seed.
Every plant writes its own story.
And Chem Brulee Pheno B has already started hers in a very interesting way.

DogDoctorOfficial Week 2 - Chem Brulee (Pheno B) ๐ฑ
Hello everyone, and welcome back to another update from the 8ร8 Adventure!
For anyone joining us for the first time, this project follows multiple Zamnesia cultivars and phenotypes grown side-by-side under a 12/12-from-seed schedule. Every phenotype receives its own dedicated diary so we can properly document individual development, compare expressions, and follow each plantโs unique journey from seed to harvest.
Rather than combining multiple plants into a single diary, each phenotype gets its own spotlight. Even when seeds come from the same pack, nature often has different ideas, and watching those differences emerge is one of the most fascinating parts of the adventure.
This entire run remains under a 12/12 light schedule from day one. The objective is not to create large vegetative plants but to explore genetic diversity, plant structure, vigor, flowering behavior, and overall performance from seed to harvest.
Week 2 Overview
Week 2 brought another excellent round of development throughout the 8ร8 Adventure.
Growth rates continue increasing as root systems establish themselves and plants begin transitioning from seedling behavior into active vegetative growth. Across the room, the response to both nutrition and environmental conditions has been very encouraging.
Lighting intensity has now increased to approximately 370 ยตmol/mยฒ/s across the canopy, giving the young plants additional energy while remaining perfectly suited for this stage of life.
Environmental conditions remained stable throughout the week:
โข Light Schedule: 12/12
โข Day Temperature: 27ยฐC
โข Night Temperature: 25ยฐC
โข Relative Humidity: 55%
โข Solution Temperature: 20.1ยฐC
โข Substrate Temperature: 21ยฐC
โข COโ: Ambient (~600 ppm)
Watering remained measured and consistent.
Each plant received approximately 250 ml on Day 8 and another 250 ml on Day 11.
Nutrition was increased gradually as the plants demonstrated they were ready for additional feeding.
Week-ending values:
โข EC: 0.9 mS/cm
โข pH: 6.0
Current feeding schedule:
โข Terra Grow โ 1.8 ml/L
โข Pure Zym โ 1 ml/L
โข Power Roots โ 1 ml/L
โข Sugar Royal โ 1 ml/L
The entire room continues responding positively, showing healthy coloration, strong growth rates, and excellent vigor.
Chem Brulee Pheno B
While her sister attracts attention with broad leaves and longer petioles, Chem Brulee Pheno B has quietly been building her own identity throughout Week 2.
And she is doing it beautifully.
Growth has been steady and healthy from start to finish, with excellent color, balanced structure, and a strong response to the increasing nutrition levels.
One detail that immediately caught my attention this week was a subtle discoloration present on one of the earlier three-finger leaves.
Nothing concerning.
Nothing problematic.
Simply one of those tiny genetic quirks that reminds us every plant writes its own story.
The coloration is subtle, attractive, and unique enough to stand out when viewing the plant closely.
Little details like this are exactly why phenotype documentation is so enjoyable.
Development Notes
Throughout the week, Chem Brulee Pheno B continued stacking new growth with impressive consistency.
The plant now carries multiple healthy leaf sets and has already begun producing beautiful five-finger leaves despite her young age.
Seeing five-finger leaves appear this early is always a satisfying milestone because it signals the plant is fully transitioning into active vegetative growth.
Color remains vibrant across the entire plant.
New growth appears healthy and vigorous, while older leaves maintain excellent condition with no signs of stress.
Structure remains balanced and symmetrical, creating a very attractive young plant.
While she may not be identical to her sister, she certainly isnโt trying to be.
And thatโs exactly what makes following multiple phenotypes so rewarding.
Small Differences, Big Personality
One thing becoming increasingly clear is that Chem Brulee Pheno B is developing her own personality.
The subtle variation in leaf coloration, the slightly different structure, and the way she carries her growth all contribute to a phenotype that feels distinct despite sharing genetics with her sibling.
This is often where the real fun begins.
As plants mature, those small differences frequently become larger distinctions, making each phenotype easier to identify and appreciate.
For now, everything points toward a healthy and promising young plant with plenty of potential ahead.
Macro Photography Corner
This week also provided an opportunity for a little creative photography.
A few close-up macro shots captured water droplets resting on the leaves, reflecting the patterns of the LED lighting above.
These tiny reflections create miniature worlds inside each droplet and offer a completely different perspective on the garden.
Itโs one of my favorite reminders that even the smallest details inside a grow room can become beautiful when viewed from the right angle.
The reflections, the textures, the tiny imperfections, and the way light interacts with the plant all tell part of the story.
Room Life
The room continues operating smoothly as environmental control remains a major priority.
Humidity levels are maintained with the help of the humidifier, allowing the young plants to develop comfortably while root systems continue expanding.
The gradual increase in nutrient levels has been well received across the room, and growth rates continue trending upward.
Mr. Baggy remains actively involved in daily operations.
Current responsibilities include:
โข Plant inspections
โข Environmental monitoring
โข Photography supervision
โข Quality control assessments
โข Looking exceptionally important while doing very little
His contract remains under review.
Looking Ahead
If development continues at the current pace, next week should bring:
โข Additional node formation
โข Larger five-finger leaves
โข Faster vegetative growth
โข Increased stem thickness
โข More obvious phenotype separation
โข Continued canopy expansion
Iโm especially interested to see whether the subtle leaf coloration characteristic remains visible as the plant matures or if it simply fades away as new growth takes over.
Either outcome will be interesting to document.
Final Thoughts
Week 2 has been another excellent chapter for Chem Brulee Pheno B.
Healthy growth.
Beautiful color.
Strong vigor.
Early five-finger leaf development.
And a few subtle traits that help distinguish her from her sibling.
She may not be the loudest plant in the room, but she has a quiet charm that becomes more noticeable every time the camera comes out.
Strong, healthy, and steadily building momentum.
Exactly what we want to see at this stage.
A huge thank you to everyone following along, commenting, sharing knowledge, and supporting the project.
Special thanks to Zamnesia, Plagron, Future of Grow, and all the partners helping make this journey possible.
And most importantly, thank you to the community. Your encouragement, ideas, conversations, and shared passion are what make documenting these projects so rewarding.
Thank you for stopping by, and Iโll see you all next week for another update from the 8ร8 Adventure.

DogDoctorOfficial Folder 03 โ Chem Brulee โ Pheno B | Week 2
If Pheno A is expressing elegance through spacing and structure, then Pheno B is taking a different route.
Compact. Purposeful. Focused.
This phenotype is developing into a beautiful little powerhouse.
From the very beginning, Chem Brulee Pheno B has carried a slightly different personality, and that contrast is becoming even more apparent during Week 2. The internodal spacing remains noticeably tighter, creating a denser canopy and giving the entire plant a compact, sturdy appearance. Every new set of leaves seems determined to stack directly on top of the last, building a structure that feels efficient and well organized.
The first thing that catches my attention is the vigor of the new growth. The apical growth tip is expanding rapidly, producing healthy, vibrant foliage with excellent color and leaf development. The newest leaves display beautiful symmetry and texture, suggesting that the plant is completely comfortable in her environment and actively pushing forward.
The stem is thickening nicely and already provides a strong foundation for future development. Combined with the tighter node spacing, it creates the impression of a plant that is investing heavily in structural strength before committing to vertical expansion.
Looking down from above, the canopy appears remarkably balanced. The side branches are beginning to establish themselves while remaining neatly tucked beneath the upper growth. This compact architecture often becomes particularly interesting once flowering begins, as closely stacked nodes can develop into dense flowering sites throughout the stretch phase.
One characteristic I especially enjoy in this phenotype is the way the foliage naturally frames the center growth. The plant seems to be building upward while simultaneously maintaining a clean and organized structure, making every stage of development easy to observe and document.
Environmental conditions remain consistent across the Project Blue garden:
* 12/12 from seed
* RH: 60โ65%
* Day temperature: ~26ยฐC
* Night temperature: ~18ยฐC
* Root zone temperature: ~21ยฐC
* Watering pH: 6.0
* EC: 1.0
* Nutrients:
* Plagron Terra Grow
* Power Roots
* Pure Zym
* Sugar Royal
* Foliar: Vita Race
* PPFD approximately 600โ700
One of the most enjoyable parts of running multiple phenotypes is seeing how different expressions emerge despite identical environmental conditions. Chem Brulee Pheno B is a perfect example. While sharing the same genetics and receiving the same care as her sister, she is already revealing a more compact and tightly structured growth pattern.
Neither approach is better.
Just different.
And that difference is exactly what makes phenotype hunting so fascinating.
Mr. Baggy has naturally approved the progress report and continues his highly specialized role as Director of Leaf Inspection and General Garden Supervision.
As Week 2 comes to a close, Chem Brulee Pheno B stands healthy, vigorous, beautifully compact, and fully on track. The foundation is now in place, the structure is forming nicely, and the coming weeks should reveal even more of the unique personality hidden within this phenotype.
The adventure continues. ๐ฑ๐
Thank you to everyone following our Project and supporting these diaries. Whether youโre growing alongside us, learning, teaching, or simply enjoying the journey, your presence helps make this project something truly special.

DogDoctorOfficial ๐ฑ 8ร8 Adventure โ Chem Brรปlรฉe (Plant B) | Week 4
A Different Sister, A Different Strategy
Welcome back to another chapter of my 8ร8 Adventure, a project dedicated to exploring how different geneticsโand even different phenotypes from the same cultivarโexpress themselves when grown under identical conditions.
Each plant receives the same environment, nutrition, lighting, and care, allowing their natural characteristics to shine without outside variables influencing the results.
Todayโs update focuses on Chem Brรปlรฉe โ Plant B, and sheโs already proving that even sisters can choose very different paths.
While her sibling has been building a strong upright structure, this beautiful lady has embraced training remarkably well, opening herself into a wider, flatter canopy that promises excellent light distribution for the weeks ahead.
Watching these individual personalities emerge is exactly why I love phenotype hunting.
โธป
๐ฟ Life Inside the 8ร8 Garden
The entire room continues thriving under stable environmental conditions.
Current room parameters:
๐ก๏ธ Temperature: 33.3ยฐC
๐ง Relative Humidity: 63%
โก Nutrient Solution EC: 1.36 mS/cm
pH: 6.12
๐ฆ Reservoir Temperature: 25.7ยฐC
Although temperatures remain on the warm side, constant air circulation keeps fresh air moving throughout the canopy, helping every cultivar continue vigorous growth while maintaining healthy transpiration.
Itโs always fascinating seeing twelve different cultivars respond to exactly the same environment, each revealing its own unique blueprint.
โธป
๐ง Feeding Program
Chem Brรปlรฉe continues receiving the same nutrition as the rest of the 8ร8 project.
This weekโs feeding includes:
โข Plagron Terra Grow
โข Plagron Power Roots
โข Plagron Pure Zym
โข Plagron Vita Race (foliar application)
Everything appears perfectly balanced.
Healthy green foliage, steady development, and vigorous new shoots suggest sheโs making excellent use of every feeding.
โธป
๐ฟ Growth & Development
This phenotype has really begun showing her own identity.
Instead of pushing strongly upward, sheโs naturally spreading her energy across multiple growing tips, creating a much broader plant than her sister at the same stage.
The most striking feature remains those gorgeous oversized fan leaves.
Theyโre broad, healthy, beautifully coloured, and already acting like efficient solar panels, capturing every available photon while fueling explosive vegetative growth.
The newest growth emerges vibrant lime green before gradually darkening as the leaves mature, a classic sign of healthy development.
Every node appears active, with numerous secondary shoots beginning to accelerate now that the canopy has opened.
Sheโs becoming increasingly bushy without ever looking crowded.
The structure feels balanced, vigorous and full of potential.
โธป
โ๏ธ Low Stress Training
This week the focus has been gentle Low Stress Training (LST).
Rather than removing the main growing tip, the stem has been carefully bent and secured to encourage the plant to redistribute its growth hormones naturally.
By lowering the dominant shoot, the plant begins directing energy into multiple side branches instead of concentrating everything into one central cola.
The results are already becoming visible.
Several new tops are racing upward together, creating a much flatter canopy that should make far better use of the available light during flowering.
LST remains one of my favourite training techniques because it shapes the plant without slowing her down.
Minimal stress.
Maximum opportunity.
Watching these secondary branches wake up over the coming weeks should be incredibly rewarding.
โธป
๐ Looking Ahead
Chem Brรปlรฉe Plant B is setting herself up beautifully for the next stage of development.
As the secondary branches continue catching up, the canopy should become increasingly even, giving every future flowering site access to strong light.
The plan remains simple:
Continue guiding the branches gently through LST.
Allow the canopy to expand naturally.
Maintain environmental stability.
Then simply let the genetics do what they do best.
Every day sheโs becoming wider, fuller, and more balanced.
โธป
๐ Final Thoughts
One of the greatest lessons this project continues teaching is that no two plantsโeven sistersโtell exactly the same story.
Chem Brรปlรฉe Plant B has embraced training with incredible enthusiasm.
Her open structureโฆ
Those beautiful oversized fan leavesโฆ
The explosion of new growing tipsโฆ
Everything points toward a plant thatโs preparing to fill her space with an abundance of healthy flowering sites.
Sheโs elegant.
Sheโs vigorous.
And sheโs making every adjustment look effortless.
I canโt wait to see how this beautifully trained structure develops once flowering truly begins.
โธป
A huge thank you to Plagron for providing the nutrition that keeps this entire garden thriving, Zamnesia for the fantastic genetics and equipment making this project possible, and of course to the amazing GrowDiaries community for following every step of this journey.
Growers love and thank you all for the your encouragement, advice and support that continue making this adventure even more enjoyable.
See you all in the next update, where Chem Brรปlรฉe Plant B will continue writing her own unique story inside the 8ร8 Adventure. ๐ฑ๐

DogDoctorOfficial ๐ฎ Chem Brรปlรฉe โ Pheno B
Week 5 | A Different Rhythm, The Same Beautiful Journey
Welcome back to another chapter of the 8ร8 Adventure!
One of the greatest joys of running a phenotype hunt is watching two sisters grow side by side while revealing completely different personalities.
Same genetics.
Same environment.
Same lighting schedule.
Nearly identical nutrition.
Yet each plant chooses her own path.
Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B is proving exactly that.
Although she shares many similarities with her sister, sheโs writing a story entirely her own.
โธป
๐ฑ How We Got Here
For anyone joining this diary for the first time, this entire project is being grown using the 12/12 From Seed technique.
Instead of providing a long vegetative period before switching the lights, the plants receive a 12 hours on / 12 hours off light cycle from the very beginning of life.
This allows every phenotype to decide naturally when itโs mature enough to begin flowering.
Some start earlier.
Others prefer to spend a little more time building themselves before making that transition.
Thatโs exactly what makes this project so fascinating.
Nature decides.
I simply provide the environment and let each plant express herself.
โธป
๐ผ Week One of Flower
Although weโre now five weeks from seed, this marks what Iโm considering Week One of Flower for Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B.
The transition is now undeniable.
Fresh white pistils are appearing across the growing tips, signalling that the plant has officially entered her reproductive phase.
Over the coming weeks these tiny white hairs will multiply rapidly, forming the foundation for the flowers that will eventually cover the canopy.
This is where the magic really begins.
โธป
๐ Big Leaves, Beautiful Health
Just like her sisterโฆ
The first thing that catches your eye is those incredible fan leaves.
Theyโre huge.
Wide.
Deep green.
Full of life.
Healthy fan leaves are the engines powering everything that comes later, capturing light and converting it into the energy needed to build stems, roots and eventually dense, resin-covered flowers.
Looking across the canopy, sheโs showing exactly the kind of vigorous growth I hope to see during this stage.
There is one damaged leaf visible in this weekโs photographs.
That one is entirely my fault.
Sometimes, while working around the plants, accidents happen.
Fortunately, itโs nothing more than cosmetic damage.
The rest of the plant continues looking exceptionally healthy, and one damaged leaf certainly wonโt slow her down.
โธป
๐ฟ Gentle Training
Training continues to remain intentionally simple.
Rather than forcing the plant into unnatural shapes, Iโm using gentle Low Stress Training, carefully bending and repositioning growth to improve light distribution throughout the canopy.
Leaf tucking also remains part of the daily routine whenever needed.
Small adjustments performed consistently usually produce better long-term results than aggressive training all at once.
The goal isnโt to control the plant.
The goal is simply to help every future flower receive as much light as possible.
โธป
๐ก๏ธ This Weekโs Environment
The environment continues providing ideal conditions for this stage of development.
This weekโs averages included:
โข Day temperature: 31.1ยฐC
โข Night temperature: 25ยฐC
โข Relative humidity: 67%
โข Nutrient solution: 24.2ยฐC
โข Root zone: 21ยฐC
โข COโ: 639 ppm
Humidity remains intentionally a little higher while the plants are still stretching and producing fresh vegetative growth.
As flowering progresses and buds begin to stack, humidity will gradually be reduced to provide the ideal conditions for healthy flower development.
Watching the room evolve each week has been incredibly satisfying.
Every update feels like another step closer to seeing this full canopy covered in flowers.
โธป
๐ธ This Weekโs Photos
This weekโs update includes a variety of different perspectives, including birdโs-eye views, side profiles, detailed close-ups, and room shots documenting her progress from every angle.
I always enjoy photographing plants this way because every perspective tells a slightly different story.
From above, you can appreciate the canopy.
From the side, you can see the structure.
Close-ups reveal the first pistils beginning to emerge.
Together, they create a complete snapshot of this stage in her journey.
โธป
๐ฎ Looking Ahead
Over the coming week I expect Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B to continue stretching while producing many more flowering sites throughout the canopy.
The number of white pistils should increase significantly as flower formation accelerates, and the plant will begin directing more energy toward building future bud sites.
Training will remain gentle and minimal, allowing her natural structure to develop while simply improving light penetration where necessary.
Sheโs progressing at her own paceโฆ
And thatโs exactly what makes following each phenotype so rewarding.

Week 6 | Finding Her Own Pace
Welcome back to another chapter of the 8ร8 Adventure!
One of the reasons I love running phenotype hunts is because they constantly remind me that there is no such thing as a "perfect timeline."
Every plant has her own rhythm.
Even sisters sharing the same genetics, the same room, the same lighting, and almost identical nutrition will often choose completely different paths.
Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B continues to be the perfect example of that.
While her sister has moved slightly further ahead, Pheno B is taking a steadier, more measured approach to flowering. She's still stretching, still building her structure, and quietly preparing for the weeks ahead.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with growing at your own pace.
Sometimes those who start a little slower end up surprising everyone in the end.
๐ผ Flowers Are Taking Shape
This week the flowering transition became even more obvious.
The first pistils that appeared last week are now multiplying across the growing tips, with every branch beginning to establish its own future flower site.
The main top is starting to take form, while the secondary branches are joining the party one by one.
Everything still feels delicate, but that's exactly what makes this stage so exciting.
These tiny clusters may not look impressive today, but in only a few weeks they'll become the dense flowers that make all the patience worthwhile.
Watching that transformation never gets old.
๐ฟ Elegant Structure
One thing I really enjoy about this phenotype is her overall architecture.
Compared to her sister, Pheno B has developed a slightly more open canopy, allowing plenty of airflow and excellent light penetration throughout the plant.
Every branch seems to have found its own place without much intervention from me.
The internodal spacing is balanced, the stems are strong, and the canopy already has a very natural shape.
Sometimes a plant almost trains herself.
Those are always enjoyable grows.
The foliage remains a rich healthy green, and she's showing plenty of energy as she continues building toward full flower production.
๐ฑ Gentle Guidance
Training remains intentionally simple.
Low Stress Training continues helping spread the branches while occasional leaf tucking allows light to reach developing flower sites hidden beneath the canopy.
I've resisted the temptation to overwork her.
At this stage the goal isn't to force the plant into a specific shape.
It's simply to help her make the most of the structure she's already chosen.
The less unnecessary stress we create now, the more energy she can dedicate to producing beautiful flowers later.
๐ฝ๏ธ Feeding Strategy
Nutrition remains focused on supporting the transition deeper into flowering while maintaining healthy vegetative growth during the final stretch.
This week's feeding included:
โข Terra Bloom โ 1.9 ml/L
โข Green Sensation โ 1 ml/L
โข Sugar Royal โ 1 ml/L
โข Power Buds โ 1 ml/L
โข Pure Zym โ 1 ml/L
โข pH adjustments using Lemon Kick and pH Plus when required
Everything continues to be based on observation rather than routine.
Plants don't read feeding charts.
They tell us what they need through their growth, colour, and overall health.
Learning to understand those signals is one of the most valuable skills any grower can develop.
๐ก๏ธ Environmental Conditions
The room continues providing stable conditions for healthy flower development.
Average conditions this week included:
โข Day temperature: 29ยฐC
โข Night temperature: 25ยฐC
โข Relative humidity: 60%
โข Nutrient solution: 24ยฐC
โข Root zone: 21ยฐC
โข COโ: 639 ppm
With flowering progressing, humidity has gradually been reduced to create an ideal environment for the weeks ahead.
Stable environmental conditions allow every phenotype to fully express its genetic potential without unnecessary stress.
It's amazing how much difference consistency makes over an entire grow.
๐ธ Capturing Another Chapter
This week's photographs show a plant that's confidently settling into early flower.
The close-up shots reveal fresh white pistils appearing from every growing tip, while the wider photos showcase a beautifully balanced structure that promises excellent light distribution as the buds continue developing.
One thing I particularly enjoy is seeing how different the two Chem Brรปlรฉe sisters already look despite sharing the same genetics.
That's the beauty of phenotype hunting.
No two stories are ever exactly the same.
๐ฎ Looking Ahead
During the coming week I expect Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B to continue producing new pistils across the canopy while gradually slowing her vertical stretch.
The individual flower sites should begin expanding, and the first signs of true bud stacking will become more noticeable.
Training will remain light, allowing her natural shape to continue developing while simply helping every branch receive as much light as possible.
She's growing with quiet confidence.
And sometimes...
Those are the plants that end up leaving the biggest impression.
๐ Thank You

๐ฟ TrolMaster for helping maintain a stable environment around the clock.
And finally...
Thank you to every grower, follower, supporter, silent reader, friend, and every person who stops by these diaries. Your encouragement, advice, questions, and conversations are what truly make this project worthwhile.
I'll see you all next week, where Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B will continue proving that every phenotype has its own pace, its own personality, and its own unique story to tell.

Week 7 | Stealing the Spotlight
Welcome back to another chapter of the 8ร8 Adventure!
This week belongs to Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B.
Some plants quietly move through each stage without drawing too much attention.
Others somehow make you stop every time you walk into the room.
This girl has become one of those plants.
She isn't the biggest in the room, nor is she trying to compete for height alone, but everything about her feels... right.
She's growing with elegance.
Every internode is spaced beautifully, every branch has found its place, and from the base of the plant all the way to the main top, the leaf formation is simply gorgeous.
She's entering the fourth week of flower exactly where she should be.
Not behind.
Not ahead.
Just perfectly on schedule.
If plants carried calendars, she'd be checking every box.
๐ฟ A Phenotype Finding Her Rhythm
One of the goals of this project is seeing how twelve different cultivars express themselves while sharing exactly the same environment.
Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B is becoming one of my favourites to observe because she's making everything look effortless.
Standing around 130 cm tall, she has developed into a beautiful, elegant plant with long, healthy branches and excellent internodal spacing.
The open structure allows light to reach deep into the canopy while maintaining fantastic airflow between the branches.
It's the kind of architecture growers hope for but can't always create through training alone.
Sometimes genetics simply do the work for you.
๐ผ Buds Beginning to Tell the Story
This week the flowers have taken another noticeable step forward.
Every growing tip is now covered with fresh white pistils, and the individual bud sites are beginning to connect into what will soon become long, stacked colas.
The stretch is gradually slowing down as more energy is redirected into flower production.
The main top has become more defined, while the secondary branches are quickly catching up, creating a very balanced canopy from top to bottom.
She's no longer just showing flowers.
She's beginning to build them.
Watching this transition happen is always one of my favourite parts of the flowering cycle.
๐ฑ Letting Genetics Shine
Very little intervention has been needed this week.
Apart from a little leaf tucking and allowing the branches to spread naturally, she's been left to do what she does best.
The AutoPot system continues doing an outstanding job, delivering consistent moisture and nutrition around the clock.
It's amazing how relaxed plants become when they never have to wonder when their next drink is coming.
Combined with the stable environment inside the room, this phenotype has been able to focus entirely on growing instead of recovering from unnecessary stress.
Sometimes the best technique is simply creating the perfect conditions and stepping back.
๐ฝ๏ธ Feeding
This week's feeding consisted of:
โข Terra Bloom โ 2 ml/L
โข Green Sensation โ 1 ml/L
โข Sugar Royal โ 1 ml/L
โข Power Buds โ 1 ml/L
โข Pure Zym โ 1 ml/L
Along with small pH adjustments using Lemon Kick and pH Plus whenever required.
The nutrient increase made this week was applied to the entire reservoir, and Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B has responded exactly as hoped, maintaining beautiful colour and healthy, vigorous growth throughout the canopy.
๐ก๏ธ Environment
Stable conditions continue making all the difference.
โข Day temperature: 29ยฐC
โข Night temperature: 25ยฐC
โข Relative humidity: 60%
โข pH: 5.8
โข EC: 1.95 mS/cm
โข Solution temperature: 24ยฐC
โข Root zone: 21ยฐC
โข COโ: 639 ppm
Keeping these parameters consistent allows every phenotype to express its full potential without unnecessary environmental stress.
The room is working exactly as intended, and this plant is making the most of it.
๐ธ Behind This Week's Photos
Looking through this week's photographs, it's impossible not to appreciate how naturally elegant this phenotype has become.
The close-up images highlight fresh clusters of white pistils forming at every node, while the wider shots reveal a beautifully symmetrical plant with outstanding spacing from the bottom branches all the way to the top cola.
One of my favourite details is the leaf structure.
Every fan leaf seems perfectly positioned without overcrowding the canopy, creating a plant that's not only healthy but incredibly photogenic.
Sometimes a plant doesn't need to shout to stand out.
She simply grows beautifully.
๐ฎ Looking Ahead
Over the coming week I expect the vertical stretch to come to an end as Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B shifts her full attention toward flower production.
The individual bud sites should begin merging together, the pistil count will continue increasing, and the first real signs of bud stacking should become much more noticeable.
The plan remains exactly the same.
Maintain the environment.
Keep the AutoPot reservoir stable.
Continue observing.
And let this beautiful phenotype keep telling her own story.
So far...
She's absolutely stealing the spotlight.
๐ Thank You
A huge thank you to everyone following this 8ร8 Adventure.
Whether you're here to learn, compare phenotypes, improve your own garden, or simply enjoy following along, I'm incredibly grateful to have you sharing this journey.

๐ก๏ธ TrolMaster for maintaining a stable environment around the clock.
๐ง AutoPot for making irrigation effortless and allowing these plants to grow at their own natural rhythm.
And finally...
Thank you to every grower, supporter, silent reader, friend, and curious visitor who follows these diaries week after week. Your encouragement and conversations make sharing this journey incredibly rewarding.
I'll see you all next week as Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B continues showing exactly why phenotype hunts are so fascinating.
Sometimes perfection isn't about being the biggest plant in the room...
It's about growing exactly as nature intended.

Week 8 | Opening the Canopy
Welcome back to another chapter of the 8ร8 Adventure! ๐ฑ
Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B continues to show why phenotype hunting is so fascinating. While her sister has remained a little more compact, this girl has continued stretching upward and is now the taller of the two.
At around 130 cm, she's developed a beautiful vertical structure with plenty of flowering sites running along her branches. This week, however, she was asking for a little more room to breathe.
And we listened.
๐ฟ A Little Defoliation, A Lot More Light
As flowering progresses, some of the older fan leaves had become less useful, creating shadows over developing flower sites and reducing the openness of the canopy.
So this week we gave her a light, selective defoliation.
Nothing aggressive. No major restructuring.
We simply removed leaves that were no longer contributing much to the plant and were blocking light or airflow. The goal wasn't to strip the plant, but to open her up just enough for the developing flowers to receive better exposure.
The result is a cleaner canopy while keeping plenty of healthy foliage to support continued flower development.
Sometimes defoliation isn't about taking something away.
It's about making room for what matters next.
๐ผ Flowers Taking Shape
The flowers are becoming much more obvious now.
White pistils continue appearing across the plant, while the individual bud sites are starting to develop more structure and density. The main tops are becoming increasingly defined, and the secondary flowers are developing nicely along the branches.
The stretch is also beginning to settle down.
She's still gaining some height, but more of her energy is clearly shifting toward building flowers rather than simply growing upward.
The next few weeks should become particularly interesting as those early flower formations begin turning into proper, stacked colas.
๐ Healthy Leaves, Healthy Plant
One thing I particularly enjoy about this phenotype is the contrast between her long, elegant structure and the increasingly developed flowers along the branches.
The healthy leaves remain vibrant, while the selective cleanup has given us a much clearer view into the plant.
She's looking balanced, open and ready for the next stage.
๐ฝ๏ธ Feeding
The room continues on the same feeding strategy:
Terra Bloom โ 2.2 ml/L
Green Sensation โ 1 ml/L
Sugar Royal โ 1 ml/L
Power Buds โ 1 ml/L
Lemon Kick / pH Plus as required
With the shared AutoPot reservoir, all phenotypes continue receiving the same solution while expressing their individual nutritional needs through their growth.
๐ก๏ธ Environment
The room remains very stable:
๐ก๏ธ Day: 29ยฐC
๐ Night: 25ยฐC
๐ง RH: 60%
โ๏ธ pH: ~6.0
โก EC: ~2.0 mS/cm
๐ฆ Solution temperature: 24ยฐC
๐ฑ Root zone: 21ยฐC
๐ซง COโ: 639 ppm
๐ง Watering: 1.3 L/plant/24h
? Pot: 15 L
That consistency continues giving all twelve phenotypes the foundation they need to express their individual personalities.
๐ฎ Looking Ahead
Next week I'm expecting Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B to become even more focused on flower production.
The stretch should continue slowing, the pistils will keep multiplying, and the developing flowers should start showing noticeably more volume.
For now, the plan is simple:
Keep the environment stable.
Keep the reservoir consistent.
Keep observing.
And let her build.
She's taller than her sister, a little more demanding when it comes to canopy management, and now she's opened up just enough to let the light reach where it needs to go.
The real flower show is only beginning. ๐ฎ๐ผ

DogDoctorOfficial ๐ฎ Chem Brรปlรฉe โ Pheno B
Week 9 | She May Not Be the Greenestโฆ But She's Bulking Beautifully
Welcome back to another chapter of the 8ร8 Adventure! ๐๐ฑ
And this week, Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B has a slightly different story to tell.
She's not the greenest girl in the room.
She's not carrying that deep, lush green that I absolutely love seeing on a flowering plant.
But...
she's still growing.
She's still building.
She's still producing beautiful flowers.
And she's still showing us exactly why growing multiple phenotypes together is so fascinating.
Sometimes a plant doesn't give you the picture you expected.
Sometimes she gives you a question.
And the best thing we can do is listen.
๐ฟ A Quick Look Back
Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B has always been one of the more distinctive expressions of this genetic line.
Compared with her sister, Pheno A, she's taller, more elongated and more open.
She has developed a very different architecture, with flowering sites distributed along those longer branches rather than creating the more compact structure we've seen from Pheno A.
Last week, she received some selective defoliation to open the canopy and give the developing flowers a little more room.
And I'm happy to say:
she handled it well.
There was no dramatic reaction.
No major setback.
She simply continued doing what she does.
Growing.
Flowering.
And now...
bulking. ๐ธ
๐ Not the Greenest Girl in the Room
Let's talk about the obvious thing first.
Her foliage isn't showing the deep, rich green that I personally like to see.
It's a little lighter.
And when you're looking at twelve different genetics growing under essentially the same conditions, those differences become very easy to notice.
Especially when one plant is standing right beside another phenotype that may be carrying a completely different shade of green.
But here's the important part:
I'm not going to invent a problem just because I don't love the colour.
She's still growing.
She's still producing flowers.
She's still developing.
She's still responding to the environment.
And that's why we're observing rather than immediately changing everything around her.
Could this phenotype simply have a different nutritional demand?
Absolutely.
Could genetics be contributing to the way she presents?
Of course.
Could other environmental factors play a role?
Potentially.
But the whole-plant picture matters much more than one characteristic.
And right now, her whole-plant picture says:
"I'm still working."
So we're listening.
Twelve Genetics Don't Get Twelve Different Worlds
This is one of the things I really want to emphasize in this project.
We're running a lot of plants.
Twelve different genetic stories.
More than twenty plants in total.
And they're sharing the same room, the same general environmental conditions, the same irrigation philosophy and the same reservoir.
That means we can't look at every single plant and say:
"Okay, you want something different? Let's completely redesign the grow just for you."
That's not the experiment.
The whole point is consistency.
We provide the same foundation...
and then we watch how the genetics respond.
Some plants are more demanding.
Some are more relaxed.
Some stay dark green.
Some are naturally lighter.
Some stretch.
Some stay compact.
Some drink more.
Some drink less.
And some...
like Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B...
simply keep telling us:
"I'm going to do this my way." ๐
And honestly?
That's exactly what I want to see.
๐ธ But Look at Those Flowers...
Because while the foliage may not be giving me the lush green I'm looking for...
the flowers are giving me plenty to smile about.
She's bulking.
The developing flowers are becoming increasingly substantial, and those long branches are now carrying some beautiful flower structures.
The pistils remain prominent, while the buds are gaining volume and definition.
This is one of those stages where you can really see the plant transitioning from:
"I'm flowering."
to:
"I'm building flowers."
And that difference is huge.
We're no longer just watching flowering sites appear.
We're watching them develop.
We're watching them gain substance.
We're watching the plant put her energy behind the flowers that she's already created.
And Pheno B is doing exactly that.
โ๏ธ The Frost Is Coming Along
The resin development is also becoming increasingly noticeable.
When you get close with the camera, the flowers start revealing another layer of the story.
The sugar leaves are becoming increasingly frosty, and the developing flowers are starting to take on that beautiful sparkling appearance that makes macro photography so addictive.
From a distance, you see:
a flowering plant.
From close up, you see:
an entire little universe.
That's something I never get tired of.
And Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B is giving us some beautiful subjects to photograph this week.
โ๏ธ How Did She Handle the Defoliation?
Pretty well.
And that's worth documenting.
Last week, we gave her a selective cleanup.
Nothing extreme.
We removed foliage where it made sense, particularly where leaves were contributing to unnecessary shading or crowding.
The objective wasn't to strip her.
It was simply to open the architecture she'd already created.
And now, looking at her this week, I like the result.
The structure is easier to see.
The flowers are easier to appreciate.
And she's continued developing without missing a beat.
That's a good reminder that intervention should always have a reason behind it.
We're not defoliating because:
"It's Tuesday and apparently Tuesday is defoliation day." ๐
We're doing it when the plant and the canopy give us a reason.
๐ฟ Her Architecture Is Doing the Work
One of the things I really like about Pheno B is her naturally open structure.
She's around 130 cm, making her taller than her Chem Brรปlรฉe sister, but she's not just tall for the sake of being tall.
She's created a very different architecture.
Longer branches.
More vertical growth.
Flowering sites distributed through that structure.
And now, as those flowers bulk up, you can really start appreciating what she built earlier in the run.
The plant has already made her decisions.
Now she's investing in them.
And that's why I'm not interested in forcing her to look like Pheno A.
They're sisters.
They're not twins.
๐ The Story Is Still Developing
The aromatic profile is also something I'm continuing to watch.
At this stage, I don't want to pretend that the final terpene expression has arrived.
We're still watching the flowers mature.
But that's part of the fun.
With phenotypes growing beside each other under the same conditions, these subtle differences can become incredibly interesting as flowering progresses.
The structure is different.
The foliage expression is different.
The flowering architecture is different.
And eventually, the aroma may give us another piece of the puzzle.
So for now...
I'm simply taking notes.
Watching.
Photographing.
And waiting.
โ๏ธ Feeding โ Consistency Is Part of the Experiment
The feeding strategy remains consistent across the room.
We're continuing with:
๐ฑ Plagron Terra Bloom โ 2.2 ml/L
๐ฑ Plagron Green Sensation โ 1 ml/L
๐ฑ Plagron Power Buds โ 1 ml/L
๐ฑ Plagron Sugar Royal โ 1 ml/L
With Lemon Kick / pH Plus used as required.
The current readings are approximately:
โ๏ธ pH โ 6.0
โก EC โ 2.0 mS/cm
And this is where the philosophy of the 8ร8 Adventure really matters.
Pheno B may be one of the girls that appears to demand more.
But we're not going to create a completely separate feeding world for her while running a shared system with the rest of the room.
Instead, we're watching how she adapts.
We're looking at the plant.
We're looking at the flowers.
We're looking at the new growth.
And we're looking at the progression over time.
Because one photograph tells you what the plant looks like today.
A diary tells you how she got there.
๐ก๏ธ The Environment
The room continues running with remarkably consistent conditions:
๐ก๏ธ Day temperature โ 29ยฐC
๐ Night temperature โ 25ยฐC
๐ง Relative humidity โ 60%
๐ฑ Substrate temperature โ 26ยฐC
๐ฆ Solution temperature โ 25ยฐC
โ๏ธ pH โ approximately 6.0
โก EC โ approximately 2.0 mS/cm
๐จ COโ โ 639 ppm
๐ก Light schedule โ 12/12
? Pot size โ 15 L
๐ง Watering โ approximately 1.3 L/plant/24h
And once again, this consistency is important.
The environment isn't changing dramatically from plant to plant.
So when we see differences...
the genetics become increasingly interesting.
That's the experiment.
๐ก Same Light. Different Plant.
The lighting setup continues providing strong overhead illumination, with additional light reaching the inner and lower portions of the canopy.
And this phenotype's more open structure works nicely with that arrangement.
She's got flowers distributed throughout the plant rather than packed into one dense wall.
The selective cleanup has also made some of those structures easier to see.
And when you look at the photographs...
there's a lot happening.
She's not finished.
She's not even close.
But she's definitely building.
๐ธ Behind the Lens
This week was another reminder of why I love photographing this project.
When I look at Pheno B with my eyes, the first thing I notice is the lighter foliage.
But when I put the camera close to the flowers...
that's not what I see anymore.
I see structure.
I see pistils.
I see developing resin.
I see flowers getting bigger.
I see branches carrying more weight.
And I see a phenotype becoming increasingly recognizable.
That's one of the reasons I try not to judge a plant from one characteristic.
Step back...
look at the whole plant.
Then get close...
and look at the flowers.
Sometimes the story changes completely.
๐ฟ She's Adapting
And that's probably my favourite part of this week's update.
She's adapting.
She's not necessarily giving us the exact expression I would choose.
She's not the deepest green.
She's one of the more demanding plants in the room.
But she's adapting to the environment we've created.
And she's continuing to grow.
That matters.
Because the purpose of this project isn't to prove that every phenotype behaves identically.
It's almost the opposite.
We're giving them the same stage...
and watching how differently they perform on it.
Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B is showing us:
"This is how I play the game."
And I'm listening.
๐ฎ Looking Ahead
So what am I expecting from her next?
More bulking.
More flower definition.
More resin.
And hopefully an increasingly obvious expression of what this phenotype is capable of.
I'm also going to continue watching the foliage carefully.
Not panicking.
Not ignoring it.
Just watching.
If the plant continues developing flowers beautifully while maintaining functional foliage and healthy growth, that's valuable information.
If other signs begin appearing alongside the colour change, then we'll have another conversation.
For now...
the flowers are telling a very positive story.
And I'm going to let her keep writing it.
๐ฎ Different Isn't Bad
This is something I've learned over and over again throughout this adventure.
When you grow one plant by itself, you can easily assume that whatever you see is simply the plant.
But when you grow twelve genetics together?
Suddenly you have references everywhere.
One plant is dark green.
Another is lighter.
One stretches.
Another stays compact.
One produces enormous leaves.
Another produces completely different foliage.
One drinks aggressively.
Another is more conservative.
And then you have Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B.
She's somewhere in there saying:
"I'm going to make beautiful flowers while making you think about my foliage." ๐
And honestly...
fair enough.
That's what phenotype hunting is about.
๐ฑ She's Not Perfect. She's Interesting.
And maybe that's the best way to describe her this week.
She's not perfect.
Her green isn't the lush colour I personally love.
She's demanding.
She's different.
But she's also beautiful.
She's adapting.
She's continuing to grow.
She's bulking.
She's producing flowers.
She's building frost.
And she's telling us a story that is completely her own.
I wouldn't want to erase that.
Because if every plant behaved exactly the same...
there wouldn't be much of a phenotype hunt, would there?
๐ Let Her Shine
So this week, I'm not going to compare Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B to the greenest girl in the room.
I'm not going to compare her to her sister and ask why she isn't built the same.
I'm going to look at her.
At approximately 130 cm...
with her elongated structure...
her developing flowers...
her increasing frost...
her lighter foliage...
and her unmistakable personality...
she's doing her thing.
And she's doing it beautifully.
The flowers are getting bigger.
The structure is becoming more impressive.
The resin is building.
And the plant is still moving forward.
That's enough for me.
Sometimes the most interesting plants aren't the ones that give you exactly what you expected.
They're the ones that make you stop...
look...
and say:
"Okay, girl. Show me what you've got." ๐ฎ๐ฅ
๐ Thank You
As always, thank you so much to everyone following the 8ร8 Adventure. ๐
This project keeps teaching me something new every single week.
A huge thank you to GrowDiaries for giving us a place to document these journeys, compare experiences and learn from one another.
Thank you to Zamnesia for the Chem Brรปlรฉe genetics and for giving us the opportunity to discover how differently these phenotypes can express themselves.
Thank you to Plagron for the nutrition supporting the room.
Thank you to Future of Grow LED for powering this jungle from above.
Thank you to LumiFlora for helping bring additional light into the lower and inner areas of the canopy.
Thank you to TrolMaster for helping us maintain consistency behind the scenes.
And finally...
thank you to everyone following along.
Every comment.
Every question.
Every message.
Every person who stops to look at these plants and wonder what happens next.
You're part of the adventure.
And this week, Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B is reminding us of something I think is incredibly important:
A plant doesn't have to be perfect to be fascinating.
She may not be showing me the lushest green.
She may be one of the more demanding girls in the room.
But she's adapting.
She's growing.
She's bulking.
She's building beautiful flowers.
And she's becoming more and more herself every week.
So let's give this girl the spotlight she deserves.
Let's let her shine.
Let's see where she takes us.
Because the story isn't finished yet.
Not even close. ๐ฎ๐ธโ๏ธ
Growers Love, my friends. ๐๐ฑ
See you next week as Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B continues writing her own chapter in the 8ร8 Adventure. ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ

Week 10 | She's Hungry for Moreโฆ and She's Still Shining ๐ธโ๏ธ๐ฅ
Welcome back to another week of the 8ร8 Adventure! ๐๐ฑ
And I have to admit...
Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B is looking beautiful.
Really beautiful.
She's got that unmistakable personality we've been watching develop week after week, and the further we move into flower, the more clearly she's showing us exactly who she is.
She's demanding.
She's hungry.
She's definitely not the quiet girl in the room. ๐
But she's also growing amazingly.
The flower formation is getting better and better.
The structure is becoming more impressive.
And those developing flowers are giving us plenty of reasons to stop, grab the camera, and take another look.
So this week...
we're putting the spotlight right back where it belongs.
On this beautiful, demanding girl.
๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ
๐ฑ Week 10 โ She's Still Doing Her Thing
Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B has never really been interested in following anybody else's schedule.
And honestly?
I wouldn't have it any other way.
She's continued moving forward in her own rhythm, building on the structure she created earlier in the run.
She's around 130 cm, and that taller, more open architecture remains one of the characteristics that immediately separates her from her sister.
But now the structure is becoming secondary to what it's carrying.
The flowers.
And they're looking fantastic.
This week, when I look at her, I don't see a plant that's simply flowering anymore.
I see a plant that's building flowers with purpose.
And that's a very exciting transition.
๐ธ The Flower Formation Is Beautiful
This is probably the first thing I want to highlight this week.
Her flower formation.
It's getting seriously beautiful.
The developing buds are becoming much more defined, and the individual flowering sites are starting to show much more character.
Those long white pistils are still reaching out everywhere, creating that almost explosive appearance around the flowers.
And underneath them, the actual bud structure is becoming increasingly substantial.
You can see the plant putting everything together.
Layer by layer.
Week by week.
Flower by flower.
It's still not the finished product, obviously.
There's plenty of development ahead.
But we're getting to that point where the imagination starts doing some of the work.
You look at a flower today...
and start wondering what it's going to look like several weeks from now.
And with this girl?
I genuinely don't know.
๐
That's what makes it fun.
๐ฟ That Beautiful Green Is Coming Through
And there's another thing I really appreciate when I look at her now.
She's looking beautifully alive.
The foliage has a strong, healthy presence, and the whole plant has that feeling of being actively engaged in flowering.
She's not sitting there quietly.
She's working.
And working hard.
This phenotype has always had a different character from Pheno A, but now that we're deeper into flower, those differences are becoming even easier to appreciate.
She's got her own architecture.
Her own flower formation.
Her own rhythm.
And definitely...
her own appetite.
๐ฝ๏ธ She's Definitely a Hungry Girl
I have to admit it:
this one is demanding.
Looking at her progression, I get the feeling that she could happily sit down at the dinner table and ask:
"Is that all?" ๐๐ฝ๏ธ๐ฟ
She seems to be using everything the environment is giving her incredibly enthusiastically.
And while I'm not going to pretend that one visual observation tells us exactly what a plant needs, this girl certainly gives the impression that she has a strong appetite.
She's growing.
She's flowering.
She's developing.
She's capturing light.
And she's putting that energy somewhere.
The interesting thing is that she's doing all of this while still showing us that distinctive phenotype expression we've been following since the beginning.
So rather than trying to force her into someone else's idea of what she should look like, I'm simply continuing to watch her closely.
Because she's clearly got something to say.
And apparently she's saying it with an appetite. ๐
๐ก She's Catching Every Photon She Can
And that brings us to one of my favourite subjects in these weekly reports:
photons.
Because when I look at this girl, I genuinely think about how much invisible energy is passing through her canopy every day.
The Black Series LEDs are sending photons into the room.
Those photons encounter leaves.
The leaves capture what they can.
And the plant uses that captured light energy to power its biological processes.
We don't see the photons.
We see the result.
The green leaves.
The developing flowers.
The increasing structure.
The growth.
The resin.
The plant itself becomes the visible record of all that invisible energy moving through the system.
And Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B?
She's clearly trying to catch every photon she can.
๐ก๐ฟ
โ๏ธ The Canopy Is Her Solar Field
I really like thinking about the canopy this way.
Every leaf represents another opportunity to intercept light.
Every angle matters.
Every layer of the plant creates a slightly different relationship with the light above it.
And this girl's architecture gives us a particularly interesting example.
She's taller.
She's more open.
Her branches occupy different heights.
Her flowers aren't all sitting in exactly the same place.
So the photons entering the canopy aren't interacting with one flat surface.
They're moving through a three-dimensional plant.
And that's why the additional lighting within the room is so interesting to me.
We're not simply thinking about the top of the plant.
We're thinking about how useful light reaches different parts of the entire structure.
The plant has built the architecture.
The lighting provides the photons.
And together...
we get to watch what happens.
๐ก Same Photons. Different Stories.
And this is where the 8ร8 Adventure gets really interesting.
The photons don't know which phenotype they're hitting.
The same general lighting environment is shared by the room.
But look at the results.
Pheno A tells one story.
Pheno B tells another.
Different height.
Different structure.
Different flower arrangement.
Different foliage expression.
Different appetite.
Different personality.
That's the beauty of having these plants growing side by side.
The environment gives us a common foundation.
The genetics write the individual story.
And Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B is writing hers in a very interesting way.
๐ธ She's Putting That Energy Into Flowers
And when I look at the photographs this week, that's probably the most satisfying part.
She's not just producing foliage.
She's building flowers.
The developing buds have more definition.
The pistils are becoming increasingly prominent.
The flower structures are becoming more substantial.
And the whole plant has a sense of progression.
It's one of those moments where the photographs from previous weeks become extremely valuable.
Because when you see a plant every day, change can be difficult to appreciate.
But put Week 5 beside Week 8...
then Week 9...
then Week 10...
and suddenly you realize:
Wow.
She's really moving.
๐ธ๐ธ
โ๏ธ And the Frost Is Joining the Party
The developing resin is another part of the story that's becoming increasingly enjoyable.
Those close-up photographs reveal little details that disappear completely when you're standing across the room.
The sugar leaves.
The pistils.
The developing trichomes.
The texture of the flowers.
The little structures forming around the buds.
It's almost like looking at an entirely different plant.
And that's why macro photography has become such a big part of this adventure for me.
The wide photograph tells you:
where she is.
The macro photograph tells you:
what she's becoming.
And Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B is becoming increasingly interesting.
๐ฟ Her Architecture Is Working
One thing I really appreciate about this phenotype is that the architecture she created earlier in the grow is now becoming useful.
She's tall.
She's open.
She's got flowers distributed throughout her branches.
And as those flowers develop, the structure becomes easier to understand.
We're not trying to make her into Pheno A.
We're not trying to compress her.
We're not trying to make her follow another plant's blueprint.
This is her blueprint.
And it's working for her.
That's one of the biggest lessons this whole project continues giving me.
Sometimes the best thing you can do is create a good environment...
and then get out of the plant's way.
๐จ Air, Space & Balance
As the flowers continue developing, I'm still keeping an eye on the overall canopy.
The goal remains balance.
Enough foliage to support the plant.
Enough space for air movement.
Enough light reaching productive areas.
And enough observation to notice when something actually needs attention.
We're not trying to strip the plant.
We're not trying to create an artificial shape.
We're simply watching how the canopy develops and responding when appropriate.
She's already built a beautiful structure.
Now we let that structure carry her forward.
โ๏ธ The Environment Keeps Providing the Foundation
The room remains broadly consistent:
๐ก๏ธ Day temperature: ~29.9ยฐC
๐ Night temperature: ~25ยฐC
๐ง Relative humidity: ~60%
๐ฅฅ Substrate temperature: ~26ยฐC
๐ฆ Solution temperature: ~25ยฐC
โ๏ธ pH: ~6.0
โก EC: ~2.0 mS/cm
๐จ COโ: ~639 ppm
๐ก Light schedule: 12/12
? Pot size: 15 L
๐ง Watering: ~1.3 L/plant/24h
๐ Height: ~130 cm
And once again, the interesting thing isn't simply the numbers.
It's how the plant responds to the whole environment.
Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B is showing us that she's capable of putting a lot of that available energy toward continued flowering.
She's certainly not wasting the opportunity.
โ๏ธ Feeding โ This Girl Has an Appetite
The nutrition strategy remains part of the shared-room approach:
๐ฑ Plagron Terra Bloom โ 2.2 ml/L
๐ฑ Plagron Green Sensation โ 1 ml/L
๐ฑ Plagron Power Buds โ 1 ml/L
๐ฑ Plagron Sugar Royal โ 1 ml/L
With pH adjustment as required.
Current solution:
pH ~6.0
EC ~2.0 mS/cm
And this is where I want to continue paying particular attention to her.
Because visually, she gives me the impression of a plant with a healthy appetite.
She's eating.
She's growing.
She's flowering.
She's using the resources available to her.
That doesn't automatically mean that changing anything is necessary, but it does make her an especially interesting phenotype to watch.
She's clearly telling us:
"I'm hungry." ๐
And I'm listening.
๐ธ Behind the Lens โ She Deserves the Spotlight
The camera loves this girl.
Seriously.
๐๐ธ
There's something about the combination of her longer structure and developing flowers that makes her incredibly fun to photograph.
You can photograph the entire plant...
and appreciate the architecture.
Then move closer...
and suddenly you're looking at those beautiful individual flowers.
Move closer again...
and the entire frame becomes pistils, resin and tiny details.
And that's when I really appreciate how unique she is.
She's not simply another Chem Brรปlรฉe.
She's this Chem Brรปlรฉe.
Pheno B.
Her own expression.
Her own story.
Her own little universe inside the 8ร8.
๐ฟ Twelve Plants, Twelve Personalities
This is still one of my favourite parts of the project.
Twelve plants can share the same room...
and still feel like twelve completely different characters.
Some are quiet.
Some are demanding.
Some are tall.
Some are compact.
Some seem to drink like they're preparing for a marathon.
Others take things a little more slowly.
And then there's this girl.
She's basically standing there with an empty plate saying:
"More, please." ๐๐ฝ๏ธ
But underneath the joke is something genuinely interesting.
The genetics influence how each plant uses the same environment.
And that's exactly what we're trying to document.
We're not creating twelve completely different worlds.
We're creating one environment...
and observing twelve different responses.
๐ฎ Where Are You Going, Pheno B?
And now I'm genuinely curious.
Because she's giving me a feeling that there could be something very interesting waiting further down the road.
The flowers are developing.
The structure is established.
The plant is active.
She's capturing photons.
She's consuming resources.
She's continuing to build.
So where does she go from here?
I honestly don't know.
And I'm not going to pretend I do.
That's the fun.
We'll keep watching.
We'll keep photographing.
We'll keep documenting.
And we'll let Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B reveal herself.
๐ญ Final Thoughts โ Let the Hungry Girl Shine
If I had to summarize this week in a few words:
Beautiful. Hungry. Unique.
Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B is looking fantastic.
Her flower formation is getting better every week.
Her pistils are beautiful.
Her structure is impressive.
She's clearly making good use of the environment we've created.
And yes...
she's demanding.
๐๐ฟ
I get the feeling she could happily take everything on the table and then ask what we're having for dessert.
But that's part of her personality.
And I like it.
She's not trying to be Pheno A.
She's not trying to be the greenest plant.
She's not trying to follow anyone else's story.
She's simply doing what she does.
And right now, what she does is grow beautifully.
The photons keep flying.
The canopy keeps capturing them.
The plant keeps converting that available light energy into biological work.
And those flowers keep getting more interesting.
So let's not rush her.
Let's not try to predict the ending.
Let's simply give her the spotlight...
and see where she takes us.
๐ฎ๐ธโ๏ธ๐ก๐ฅ
She's got an appetite.
She's got personality.
She's got beautiful flowers.
And she's definitely got somewhere she's going.
I just can't wait to see where.

She's demanding.
She's hungry.
She's capturing every photon she can.
She's building some gorgeous flowers.
And she's still writing her own story.
So let's keep watching.

DogDoctorOfficial ๐ฎ 8ร8 Adventure โ Week 11
Chem Brรปlรฉe โ Pheno B
Hungry, Frosty & Still Asking for More ๐ธโ๏ธ๐ก
Hello everyone, and welcome back to another chapter of the 8ร8 Adventure! ๐ฑ๐
And here we go again...
Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B.
If you've been following her diary, you already know this girl has never really been shy about expressing herself.
She's tall.
She's vigorous.
She's hungry.
She's beautifully structured.
And she's definitely not the quiet girl in the room. ๐
But this week, something interesting happened.
The plant itself didn't need much from me.
The room changed.
The lighting system received a serious upgrade.
The nutrition moved forward slightly.
And then...
we stepped back.
Because at this stage of flowering, sometimes the most important thing we can do is provide what the plant needs and let her get on with the job.
And Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B?
She's doing exactly that.
She's still shining.
She's still hungry.
She's still building.
And she's still very much herself.
๐ฎ๐ธโ๏ธ๐ก
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ธ Week 11 โ Let Her Keep Building
Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B remains around 130 cm, maintaining that taller, more open architecture that has separated her from her sister throughout this journey.
And honestly...
I'm really enjoying watching what she's doing with that structure.
The height isn't the story anymore.
The flowers are.
The plant has already established her architecture.
The branches are positioned.
The flowering sites are developing.
And now we're watching that framework slowly become something much more substantial.
This is the stage where I don't feel the need to constantly interfere.
She's healthy.
She's green.
She's flowering.
She's developing resin.
She's using the environment.
So...
let her work.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ฝ๏ธ Yes... She's Still Hungry
If there's one thing Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B has made extremely clear throughout this grow, it's that she has an appetite.
๐๐ฝ๏ธ๐ฟ
She seems to look at the environment we've created and say:
"Okay... what else have you got?"
And while we obviously don't make nutritional decisions based purely on appearance, her vigorous growth and continued flower development make her a very interesting phenotype to observe.
She's using resources.
She's producing new floral development.
She's maintaining her foliage.
She's processing all that available light.
And she's continuing to build.
So yes...
our hungry girl is still hungry.
And we're listening.
We're not throwing everything at her.
We're not changing things dramatically.
We're simply making measured adjustments and watching the response.
That's the approach.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
โ๏ธ The Frost Is Becoming Part of Her Personality
One of the things becoming increasingly difficult to ignore is the resin.
The frost is developing beautifully.
When you look at the plant from a distance, you see her overall architecture.
Move closer...
and suddenly the story changes.
Pistils.
Sugar leaves.
Trichomes.
Flower structure.
Texture.
Tiny details everywhere.
That's one of the reasons I love documenting these plants individually.
The wide photograph tells you where the plant is.
The macro photograph starts telling you what she's becoming.
And Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B is becoming increasingly interesting.
She's not finished.
Not even close.
But the direction?
I really like it.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ธ The Flowers Are Taking Shape
The developing flowers continue becoming more defined.
Those long white pistils are still reaching outward from the developing structures, giving the flowers that almost explosive appearance we've been watching.
But underneath those hairs, something more substantial is happening.
The buds are gaining structure.
The individual flowering sites are becoming easier to distinguish.
And the plant is slowly moving away from:
"I have flowering sites."
toward:
"I'm building flowers."
That's the transition we're watching now.
And because Pheno B has such a distinctive structure, it's particularly satisfying to see those flowers developing throughout her branches.
The architecture is becoming the foundation.
The flowers are becoming the story.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ก The 8ร8 Just Got A Serious Photon Upgrade
Now let's talk about the biggest change this week.
The plants themselves didn't need much intervention.
But the lighting environment received a major upgrade.
We've added two additional Future of Grow Black Series 600W fixtures to the 8ร8.
And...
yes.
We definitely noticed. ๐๐ก
The available light increased more than I wanted initially.
So rather than simply running everything harder, we reduced the output.
We're currently running at approximately:
๐ 59% power from the plug.
And we're seeing approximately:
โ๏ธ 1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy.
That's a serious amount of available light.
And I much prefer having that capacity available while controlling how much of it we're actually using.
We're not chasing the biggest number possible.
We're looking for the level that makes sense for the plants and the room.
And right now...
I'm very happy with where we've landed.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
โ๏ธ More Light Doesn't Mean We Need More Power
This is something I particularly like about the new setup.
We now have considerably more lighting capability.
But we're not obligated to use all of it.
We added the two additional fixtures.
We measured the result.
The PPFD went higher than I wanted.
So we turned them down.
Now we're around 59% power from the plug.
Approximately 1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy.
And we're also saving electricity compared with simply running all the fixtures at maximum output.
That's a win for me.
We're testing the fixtures properly.
We're learning what they can do.
We're finding a practical operating point.
And we're not wasting power just because we have it available.
That's exactly what I wanted from this lighting upgrade.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ Future Of Grow โ A Big Thank You
A special shout-out this week to Future of Grow.
They provided the two additional Black Series 600W fixtures for us to test here in the 8ร8 Adventure.
And now we're putting them to work.
Real room.
Real flowering plants.
Real measurements.
Real adjustments.
The additional fixtures gave us more lighting capability than we initially wanted, so we reduced the output to approximately 59%.
We're now seeing around 1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy.
And I'm genuinely happy with the balance.
Strong lighting.
More control.
Lower power consumption than running everything flat out.
And twelve different plants showing us how they respond.
Thank you, Future of Grow, for giving us the opportunity to test these additional fixtures and see what they can do in a real grow environment.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
โ๏ธ Chem Brรปlรฉe Under The New Artificial Sun
And here's where things get fascinating.
The lighting environment has changed.
But Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B hasn't suddenly become another plant.
She's still tall.
Still vigorous.
Still hungry.
Still beautifully structured.
Still developing those flowers.
Still frosting up.
That's the beauty of genetics.
We can provide the environment.
We can provide the photons.
But the plant decides what to do with them.
The same light can fall on two phenotypes and produce two completely different stories.
And Pheno B is continuing to write hers.
She's taking that available energy and putting it toward what she does best:
growing.
Building.
Flowering.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
โ๏ธ Around 1,500 PPFD Across The Upper Canopy
The approximately 1,500 PPFD we're currently seeing is across the upper canopy.
And with Pheno B, that distinction is particularly important.
She's a tall plant.
Her flowers and leaves occupy different levels.
The top of the plant sees stronger direct illumination.
The middle receives a different intensity.
The inner areas receive less direct exposure.
And lower parts of the structure naturally receive something different again.
That's completely normal.
A plant isn't a flat surface.
It's a three-dimensional solar field.
๐๐ฟโ๏ธ
Our goal isn't to make every single flower receive identical light.
It's to create a strong, useful lighting environment while allowing the plant to use the available photons effectively.
And that's why the ability to control the output is so valuable.
We can provide a very powerful artificial sun without necessarily running it at maximum intensity.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ก Photons Are Only One Part Of The Equation
I've talked about photons throughout this project because they're fundamental to what we're doing.
But they're never the entire story.
Light interacts with temperature.
Temperature interacts with transpiration.
Water availability affects nutrient movement.
Root-zone conditions influence uptake.
Nutrition supports development.
COโ influences photosynthetic potential.
Plant structure determines how photons move through the canopy.
Everything is connected.
That's why I don't want to simply keep increasing light because we can.
The objective is balance.
Give the plant strong usable light.
Keep the environment appropriate.
Maintain irrigation.
Support nutrition.
Observe.
And adjust when the plant actually tells us something needs changing.
Right now?
Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B is telling us she's happy.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
โ๏ธ Nutrition โ A Small Step Forward
We've also made a small adjustment to the flowering nutrition this week.
Nothing dramatic.
We're simply moving Terra Bloom from 2.2 ml/L to:
๐ฑ Terra Bloom โ 2.3 ml/L
The rest of the recipe remains:
๐ฑ Green Sensation โ 1 ml/L
๐ฑ Power Buds โ 1 ml/L
๐ฑ Sugar Royal โ 1 ml/L
๐ฑ pH adjustment as required
That small increase brought the EC up slightly.
We're now around:
โก EC โ 2.14 mS/cm
Again...
small adjustment.
Small movement.
Measured response.
We're not trying to reinvent the feeding programme.
The plants are developing beautifully.
So we're simply giving the flowering nutrition a small progression and watching how they respond.
And our hungry girl?
She's certainly giving us plenty to watch.
๐๐ฝ๏ธ๐ธ
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ง Irrigation โ Let The System Keep Doing Its Job
The irrigation system remains consistent.
We're currently around:
๐ง 1.45 L per plant / 24 hours
with approximately:
๐ก๏ธ Solution temperature โ 25ยฐC
๐ฅฅ Substrate temperature โ 25ยฐC
At this stage, consistency becomes increasingly important.
The plant doesn't need us constantly changing things.
She needs a reliable root environment.
She needs water.
She needs nutrition.
She needs oxygen around the roots.
And then...
she needs time.
So that's what we're giving her.
The system continues doing its job in the background while we concentrate on observation.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ก๏ธ Week 11 โ Current Environment
The room is currently running approximately:
โข ๐ก๏ธ Day Temperature: 26.5ยฐC
โข ๐ Night Temperature: 26ยฐC
โข ๐ง Relative Humidity: 61%
โข ๐ฅฅ Substrate Temperature: 25ยฐC
โข ๐ฆ Nutrient Solution Temperature: 25ยฐC
โข โ๏ธ pH: 6.02
โข โก EC: 2.14 mS/cm
โข ๐จ COโ: approximately 693 ppm
โข ๐ก Light Schedule: 12/12
โข ๐ง Irrigation: approximately 1.45 L/plant/24h
โข ? Pot Size: 15 L
โข ๐ Plant Height: approximately 130 cm
The environment remains broadly stable.
Summer still likes to remind us that absolute precision isn't always possible. ๐โ๏ธ
So the objective isn't chasing one perfect number.
It's maintaining a stable overall environment.
Avoiding unnecessary swings.
Watching the plants.
And responding when something actually needs attention.
Right now...
Pheno B looks very comfortable.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ฟ No Need To Manufacture Work
This is probably one of the biggest themes of this week's report.
We're not doing much to the plants.
And that's intentional.
Earlier in the grow, we had plenty of work.
Training.
Structure.
Canopy management.
Defoliation.
Positioning.
Adjustments.
But now?
The plant has done most of the building.
She's created the architecture.
She's established the flowering sites.
She's developed the canopy.
She's now putting her energy into the flowers.
So I'm not going to manufacture work simply because I feel like I should be doing something.
Healthy leaves are working.
Flowers are developing.
The plant is healthy.
Air is moving.
Light is available.
Nutrition is consistent.
Water is being delivered.
Sometimes...
the best thing a grower can do is leave a healthy plant alone.
And our hungry girl seems perfectly happy with that arrangement.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ธ She's Putting Those Photons Somewhere
This is what I really enjoy about looking at Pheno B now.
We can actually see the result of all that invisible energy.
The photons are arriving.
The leaves are capturing light.
The plant is processing that energy.
And the visible result is right there:
More flower structure.
More definition.
More resin.
More development.
The plant itself becomes the record of what's happening.
And Pheno B is giving us a pretty impressive record.
She's not sitting still.
She's working.
Hard.
๐๐ฟ
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ธ The Camera Is Still Loving Her
And once again...
this girl is fun to photograph.
๐๐ธ
The full-plant shots show that tall, open architecture.
The middle-distance photographs show how the flowers are distributed through the branches.
And then you get closer...
and suddenly the frame becomes pistils, resin and flower structure.
That's the beauty of photographing the same plant every week.
You stop relying on memory.
You can actually compare.
Week after week.
Flower after flower.
Change after change.
And when you look back at the early photographs?
The difference is remarkable.
Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B has travelled a long way.
And she's not finished yet.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
Same Environment. Completely Her Own Answer.
This is still the heart of the 8ร8 Adventure.
Twelve plants.
One room.
Shared environmental conditions.
Shared general lighting philosophy.
Shared irrigation.
Shared nutrition.
And yet...
twelve individual stories.
Pheno B is another perfect example.
She isn't Pheno A.
She isn't one of the compact girls.
She isn't one of the quieter phenotypes.
She's tall.
She's vigorous.
She's hungry.
She's frosty.
And she's developing her flowers in her own particular way.
The environment gives her the opportunity.
The genetics decide how she uses it.
And honestly?
I really like her answer.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ฎ The Hungry Girl Is Still Hungry
If I had to choose one sentence for this week's report, it would probably be:
"She's still asking for more."
๐๐ฝ๏ธ๐ฟ
More photons.
More time.
More room to build.
More opportunity to develop.
And we're giving her those things in a controlled way.
Not blindly.
Not excessively.
But consistently.
The new lighting gives us additional capacity.
The small nutritional increase gives the flowering programme a little more room.
The irrigation keeps the root environment supplied.
The environment remains stable.
And then...
we watch.
That's the relationship between grower and plant at this stage.
We provide.
She responds.
We observe.
And when necessary...
we adjust.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ฌ The Lighting Experiment Continues
The two additional Future of Grow Black Series 600W fixtures have added another fascinating layer to this project.
We now have substantially more lighting capability than before.
But the interesting result isn't simply the maximum output.
It's finding the useful operating point.
The PPFD initially went higher than I wanted.
So we reduced the fixtures to approximately 59% power from the plug.
We're now seeing around 1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy.
And we're doing it while using less electricity than running the fixtures at maximum output.
That's exactly the kind of practical information I wanted from this experiment.
The hardware gives us the capability.
The measurements tell us what is actually happening.
And the plants tell us whether they like it.
Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B?
So far...
she's looking pretty happy.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ฎ Looking Ahead
From here, the plan remains beautifully simple.
Keep watching.
Keep photographing.
Keep the environment stable.
Keep irrigation consistent.
Keep nutrition appropriate.
Keep monitoring the lighting.
And let Pheno B continue doing what she's been doing.
Over the coming weeks, I'll be watching:
๐ธ Continued flower development
โ๏ธ Increasing resin coverage
๐ฟ Healthy foliage
๐ก Response to the stronger lighting environment
๐ง Water demand
๐ก๏ธ Environmental stability
๐ฌ๏ธ Air movement through the canopy
๐ Increasing flower density and definition
No need to force the next chapter.
She's already writing it.
We'll simply be here to document it.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ญ Final Thoughts โ Let This Hungry Girl Shine
Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B continues to be exactly what she has shown us throughout this journey.
Tall.
Vigorous.
Hungry.
Beautiful.
Distinctive.
And increasingly frosty.
This week, we didn't need to do much to her.
And that's a good thing.
We added two additional Future of Grow Black Series 600W fixtures.
We measured the increased light.
The PPFD went higher than I wanted.
So we reduced the output to approximately 59%.
We're now sitting around 1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy.
We increased Terra Bloom slightly from 2.2 to 2.3 ml/L.
The EC moved a little higher to approximately 2.14 mS/cm.
And then...
we stepped back.
Because she's doing her job.
She's taking the photons.
She's using the water.
She's using the nutrition.
She's building flowers.
She's producing resin.
She's becoming more and more herself.
And honestly?
That's exactly what I want to see.
The goal isn't to make her behave like another phenotype.
It's to give her the opportunity to show us what she can become.
And Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B is definitely taking that opportunity.
๐ฎ๐ธโ๏ธ๐ก๐ฅ
So keep shining, hungry girl.
Keep building.
Keep frosting up.
Keep showing us what your particular expression of Chem Brรปlรฉe can become.
We're watching.
We're photographing.
We're learning.
And we're enjoying every minute of it.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ Thank You
A huge thank you to everyone following the 8ร8 Adventure and taking the time to follow these individual stories.
Thank you to GrowDiaries for giving us the platform to document the journey and share what we're learning along the way.
Thank you to Zamnesia for the Chem Brรปlรฉe genetics and for giving us the opportunity to explore different phenotypes side by side.
Thank you to Plagron for supporting the garden with the nutrition and growing programme throughout this adventure.
And a massive thank you to Future of Grow for providing the Black Series lighting and, especially this week, for providing the two additional 600W fixtures for us to test in the 8ร8.
Being able to increase the lighting capability, measure the response, reduce the output and find a practical operating point has been a fantastic part of this experiment.
We're currently running around 59% power and seeing approximately 1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy while also keeping electricity consumption lower than simply running everything at full power.
That's real-world testing.
That's what I like.
Thank you as well to Lumiflora for helping illuminate the deeper parts of the canopy and giving us another perspective on three-dimensional lighting.
And thank you to TrolMaster for helping us monitor and manage the environment behind the scenes.
And finally...
thank you to everyone following along.
Every comment.
Every question.
Every message.
Every person stopping by to see what these girls are doing.
You're all part of the adventure.
Twelve plants.
One room.
One shared environment.
And twelve completely different stories.
Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B is writing hers with an appetite.
๐๐ฝ๏ธ๐ธ
She's hungry.
She's frosty.
She's beautiful.
She's developing some gorgeous flowers.
And she's still asking for more.
So let's give her the spotlight.
Let's keep those photons flying.
Let's keep watching those flowers develop.
And let's see just how far this hungry girl wants to take us.
๐ฎโ๏ธ๐ธ๐ก๐ฅ
Until next week...
Growers Love, my friends, and happy growing! ๐ฑ๐

Chem Brรปlรฉe โ Pheno B
๐ฅ Claiming Her Place In The Tent
Hello everyone, and welcome back to another chapter of the 8ร8 Adventure! ๐ฑ๐
And here she is...
Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B.
And honestly?
This girl is starting to claim her place.
Not because we're pushing her.
Not because we're constantly training her.
Not because we're trying to make her look like something she's not.
She's doing it herself.
Week after week, she's becoming more defined.
More recognizable.
More beautiful.
Chem Brรปlรฉe.
๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฅ
She's evolving.
She's developing.
She's filling her space.
And we're basically doing what we should be doing at this stage:
Watching.
Paying attention.
Providing water.
Providing nutrition.
Providing light.
Keeping the environment stable.
And then...
getting the hell out of her way.
๐๐ฟ
Because this girl clearly knows what she's doing.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ธ Week 12 โ She's Claiming Her Space
There's something different about looking at Pheno B now.
Earlier in the grow, she was a plant we were trying to understand.
We were watching her structure develop.
Watching her stretch.
Watching her flowering sites appear.
Watching her decide how she wanted to occupy the room.
Now?
She's made her decision.
๐
This is her space.
This is her structure.
These are her flowers.
This is her expression.
And she's filling that space beautifully.
She's not trying to become another phenotype.
She's not trying to copy her sister.
She's not following anyone else's schedule.
She's simply continuing forward.
And that's exactly what makes this part of the 8ร8 Adventure so interesting.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ฟ The Grower Is Doing Less โ And Seeing More
One of the funniest things about getting deeper into flowering is that the amount of physical work can actually decrease...
while the amount of observation increases.
Earlier in the grow, there was always something to do.
Training.
Tucking.
Defoliating.
Positioning.
Moving branches.
Opening spaces.
Managing the canopy.
Now?
Not really.
And that's intentional.
I'm not looking at this plant thinking:
"What can I do to her today?"
I'm looking at her thinking:
"What is she telling me?"
There's a huge difference.
And right now she's telling me:
"I'm good."
๐๐
So I'm listening.
She's receiving what she needs.
The irrigation is doing its job.
The nutrition is being adjusted as we move toward the later stages.
The lighting is providing plenty of photons.
The environment remains stable.
And the plant is doing the rest.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ฎ Chem Brรปlรฉe Is Becoming Herself
This is probably my favourite part.
At the beginning of a grow, a phenotype is a possibility.
You have a seed.
You have genetics.
You have an idea of what might happen.
Then the plant starts talking.
And slowly...
you start learning who she is.
Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B has been particularly good at that.
She's tall.
She's vigorous.
She's hungry.
She's beautifully structured.
She's developing substantial flowering sites.
She's producing frost.
And she's got her own particular way of filling the room.
At this point, I don't need to describe what she "might" become.
I'm watching what she actually is becoming.
And I have to say...
I really like what I'm seeing.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ธ The Flowers Are Doing The Talking Now
The structure is already there.
Now the flowers are taking over the conversation.
And they're beautiful.
The flowering sites continue developing.
The buds are becoming increasingly defined.
The pistils are changing gradually as the flowers mature.
And the resin continues adding that beautiful frosty character we've been watching develop.
This is one of those stages where the differences from one day to the next can be subtle.
But compare photographs separated by a week...
and suddenly the progression becomes obvious.
More structure.
More density.
More maturity.
More character.
And that's exactly why these weekly reports exist.
We're documenting the transition rather than simply showing the final result.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
โ๏ธ Frost Is Becoming Part Of Her Identity
The closer I get to this girl with the camera, the more she gives me.
From a distance:
Beautiful flowering plant.
Move closer:
Oh...
there's the Chem Brรปlรฉe.
๐โ๏ธ๐ธ
The resin is becoming increasingly visible.
The sugar leaves are carrying that frosty appearance.
The flowers are developing more texture.
And those little details are what make phenotype documentation so much fun.
Every plant can look beautiful from across the tent.
But when you start looking closely...
that's where the individuality appears.
And Pheno B definitely has individuality.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ก The Artificial Sun Keeps Flying
The lighting setup remains the same as the upgraded 8ร8 environment.
We've now got the two additional Future of Grow Black Series 600W fixtures contributing to the room.
And we're not running them flat out.
We're controlling the output at approximately:
๐ 59% power from the plug.
That gives us around:
โ๏ธ 1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy.
And that's plenty of photons flying around this jungle.
๐โ๏ธ๐ฟ
But again, the important part isn't simply having more watts.
It's having control.
We increased the available lighting capability.
We measured it.
It went higher than we wanted.
So we reduced the output.
Now we have the headroom when we need it without unnecessarily pushing the equipment at maximum power.
That's much more interesting to me than simply chasing the biggest number.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
โ๏ธ A Three-Dimensional Plant In A Three-Dimensional Light Field
Pheno B is also a great example of why I don't think about the canopy as a flat surface.
She's tall.
Her flowers occupy different levels.
Some are directly exposed to the upper light.
Others sit deeper.
Some leaves face the fixtures almost perfectly.
Others naturally receive less direct illumination.
That's simply how a plant works.
She's three-dimensional.
The light is three-dimensional.
And the plant is constantly interpreting those photons according to where she has placed herself.
We're providing the artificial sun.
She's deciding what to do with it.
And right now?
She's doing quite a lot.
๐๐ธ
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
โ๏ธ Nutrition โ Beginning The Gradual Transition
We're also beginning to move the nutrition toward the later stage of flowering.
And, as with the rest of the room, we've made a small reduction in the flowering base.
Terra Bloom is now:
๐ฑ 2.0 ml/L
This has brought the EC down slightly to approximately:
โก EC โ 2.05 mS/cm
The important part here is that I'm not interested in going from the current mineral feeding programme to absolutely nothing overnight.
I personally prefer a gradual reduction.
A little less.
Observe.
Another adjustment when appropriate.
Observe again.
We're approaching the final part of the flowering cycle, but that doesn't mean the plant suddenly stops needing everything the next morning.
She's still alive.
She's still functioning.
She's still developing.
And Pheno B is still very much working.
So we're transitioning gradually rather than slamming the brakes.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ฟ Why I Prefer A Gradual Reduction
When working with mineral nutrition, I personally prefer to decrease progressively as we approach the end.
Not:
"Full feed today."
"Zero tomorrow."
๐
There is no magic switch inside the plant that suddenly says:
"Congratulations, you're finished."
The transition is gradual.
The plant changes gradually.
The flowers mature gradually.
The foliage changes gradually.
So I prefer the nutritional transition to reflect that.
We're reducing the base.
We're watching the plant.
We're watching the flowers.
We're watching the foliage.
And we're allowing the plant to tell us how she's progressing.
Pheno B is still telling us:
"Keep watching."
So...
we're watching.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ง Water โ Still Giving Her What She Needs
The same philosophy applies to irrigation.
We're not trying to force anything.
We're providing consistent water and nutrition through the system and watching the plant's demand.
The current room setup remains around:
๐ง 1.4โ1.45 L per plant / 24 hours
with the root-zone and solution temperatures remaining around the mid-20s ยฐC.
The exact numbers matter.
But the consistency matters just as much.
The plant doesn't need us constantly changing things.
She needs a stable foundation from which she can continue doing what she's already doing.
And she's doing it beautifully.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ก๏ธ Week 12 โ Current Room Conditions
The 8ร8 room continues under the same general conditions:
โข ๐ก๏ธ Day Temperature: approximately 26.5โ27ยฐC
โข ๐ Night Temperature: approximately 25โ26ยฐC
โข ๐ง Relative Humidity: around 60โ61%
โข ๐ฅฅ Substrate Temperature: around 25โ26ยฐC
โข ๐ฆ Nutrient Solution Temperature: around 25ยฐC
โข โ๏ธ pH: approximately 6.0
โข โก EC: approximately 2.05 mS/cm
โข ๐จ COโ: approximately 693 ppm
โข ๐ก Light Schedule: 12/12
โข ๐ง Irrigation: approximately 1.4โ1.45 L/plant/24h
โข ๐ฑ Pot Size: 15 L
โข โ๏ธ Upper Canopy: approximately 1,500 PPFD
โข ๐ Future of Grow fixtures: approximately 59% power from the plug
The room remains stable.
The lighting remains strong.
The irrigation remains consistent.
And the plants are continuing to show us their individual responses.
That's exactly what we're here to document.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ธ The Changing Flowers Tell Us More Every Week
One of the things I really enjoy about this stage is watching the flowers evolve.
Earlier on, you see lots of fresh white pistils.
The flowers look young.
Everything looks like it's still being built.
Now?
You start seeing subtle changes.
Some pistils begin changing colour.
Some curl inward.
The flowers become more substantial.
The resin becomes more visible.
The overall shape becomes more mature.
And those changes don't necessarily happen at the same speed across every plant.
That's another beautiful part of the 8ร8 experiment.
Same room.
Different genetics.
Different expression.
Different timeline.
Pheno B is following her own.
And she's doing a damn good job of it.
๐๐ฎ๐ธ
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ฟ Still No Need To Touch Her
And this is probably worth repeating.
Because somebody looking at the photographs might think:
"Surely you're doing something to her?"
No.
๐
Not really.
I'm paying attention.
That's different.
I'm checking the flowers.
I'm checking the foliage.
I'm monitoring the environment.
I'm watching the irrigation.
I'm adjusting the nutrition gradually.
I'm watching the lighting.
But physically?
I'm mostly leaving her alone.
And that's because she doesn't need me to interfere.
Her architecture is established.
Her flowers are developing.
Her leaves are functioning.
She's healthy.
She's occupying her space.
Why would I start changing things simply because I feel like I should be doing something?
Sometimes cultivation is knowing when to step back.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ธ The Camera Gets The Attention Instead
So instead of reaching into the canopy...
I reach for the camera.
๐๐ธ
And that's exactly what these photographs are for.
The wide shots show her place in the tent.
The medium shots show her structure.
The close-ups show the flowers.
And the macro photographs show the little details that you simply can't appreciate from across the room.
That's the beauty of keeping individual diaries.
Pheno B doesn't have to compete with eleven other plants inside the same photograph.
She gets her own frame.
Her own page.
Her own story.
And honestly?
She deserves it.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ฌ Same Room โ Different Answers
This remains the heart of the 8ร8 Adventure.
Twelve plants.
One room.
One shared environment.
Same general lighting strategy.
Same irrigation philosophy.
Same nutritional programme.
Same grower.
And completely different expressions.
Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B has given us one of those expressions.
She's tall.
She's vigorous.
She's hungry.
She's frosty.
She's developing beautifully.
And now she's starting to claim her place in the room.
Not because we're forcing her there.
Because she grew into it.
That's the difference.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ฎ She's Not Trying To Be Anyone Else
And I think that's something worth celebrating.
She doesn't need to be her sister.
She doesn't need to be the smallest plant.
She doesn't need to be the biggest plant.
She doesn't need to finish on somebody else's schedule.
She doesn't need to have exactly the same flower structure as another phenotype.
She's Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B.
That's enough.
And the further we move through the grow, the more obvious her identity becomes.
That's the real reward of phenotype work.
At first you grow the plant.
Eventually...
the plant tells you who she is.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ Healthy Green Is Still Working
And I also want to give some love to those green leaves.
Because sometimes they don't get enough credit.
๐๐ฟ
Those leaves are still doing their job.
They're receiving photons.
They're supporting photosynthesis.
They're contributing to the plant's energy production.
And while we're entering the later stages of flowering, we're not trying to force a particular colour change.
We're allowing the plant to progress naturally.
Some plants fade earlier.
Some stay green longer.
Some show colour changes in particular areas.
Some remain surprisingly green almost all the way through.
Again...
the plant gets the final vote.
And Pheno B is still carrying plenty of healthy green.
So we're happy to see it.

๐ก The Photon Experiment Continues
The additional Future of Grow fixtures continue to make this part of the 8ร8 Adventure especially interesting.
We have considerably more lighting capability than we had before.
But we're using that capability intelligently.
Approximately 59% power from the plug.
Approximately 1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy.
Strong artificial sunlight.
Controlled output.
And enough headroom to adjust if the plants ever tell us something different.
That's the important part.
The equipment gives us options.
The plants give us information.
And the grower makes small adjustments based on what they're seeing.
That's the relationship.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ฎ Looking Ahead
We're getting closer to the final chapters.
But we're not rushing them.
That's important.
Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B still has her own work to do.
So we're going to continue:
๐ธ Watching the flowers
โ๏ธ Watching resin development
๐ฟ Watching the foliage
? Watching the pistils change
๐ง Maintaining consistent irrigation
โ๏ธ Gradually reducing the mineral base
โ๏ธ Maintaining the controlled lighting environment
๐ก๏ธ Monitoring the room
๐ธ Documenting everything
No unnecessary intervention.
No forcing.
No rushing.
Just observation and support.
The plant knows the timeline better than we do.

๐ฎ Final Thoughts โ She's Claiming Her Place
Week 12.
And this girl is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore.
Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B is claiming her place in the tent.
She's not doing it because we've forced her.
She's not doing it because we've manipulated her into a certain shape.
She's doing it because that's what her genetics have decided to express.
She's evolving.
She's flowering.
She's building.
She's frosting.
She's filling her space.
And we're simply here to support her.
The lighting is there.
The photons are flying.
The irrigation is consistent.
The nutrition is being gradually reduced as we approach the final part of the journey.
Terra Bloom has moved down to:
๐ฑ 2.0 ml/L
And the EC is now around:
โก 2.05 mS/cm.
Nothing dramatic.
Just a gradual transition.
Because I don't believe in suddenly going from full mineral nutrition to zero overnight.
I prefer to reduce gradually.
Watch.
Listen.
Adjust.
And let the plant tell me when she's ready for the next step.
And Pheno B?
She's talking.
๐๐ฎ๐ธ
She's saying:
"I'm doing just fine."
So...
keep doing your thing, girl.
Keep claiming your space.
Keep developing those flowers.
Keep shining under that artificial sun.
And keep showing us exactly what this beautiful expression of Chem Brรปlรฉe can become.
โ๏ธ๐ฎ๐ธ๐
We're watching.
We're photographing.
We're learning.
And we're enjoying every damn minute of it.
โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
๐ Thank You
A huge thank you to Zamnesia for giving us the opportunity to explore these Chem Brรปlรฉe genetics and document this phenotype throughout the 8ร8 Adventure.
Thank you to Plagron for supporting the garden throughout this journey with the nutrition helping these girls continue through flowering and into their final stages.
A massive thank you to Future of Grow for providing the Black Series lighting powering our artificial sun and especially for supplying the two additional Black Series 600W fixtures we're testing in the 8ร8.
Having the ability to increase the lighting capability, measure what happens, reduce the output and then find a practical operating point has been an amazing part of this experiment.
We're currently running around 59% power and approximately 1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy.
More capability.
More control.
And no need to waste power simply because we have it available.
Thank you to Lumiflora for continuing to help bring additional light deeper into the canopy and allowing us to explore the plants as three-dimensional structures.
And thank you to TrolMaster for helping us monitor and manage the environment behind the scenes.
And of course...
thank you to everyone following the 8ร8 Adventure here on GrowDiaries.
Every week you come back.
Every week you watch another phenotype evolve.
Every week we get another little piece of the puzzle.
And that's what makes this project so special.
Twelve plants.
One room.
One shared environment.
And twelve completely different stories.
Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B is writing hers with confidence.
She's claiming her place.
She's evolving.
She's developing beautiful flowers.
She's getting frostier.
She's becoming more and more herself.
And we're not forcing the story.
We're simply providing the stage.
The plant is doing the rest.
๐ฎโ๏ธ๐ธ๐
So let's keep watching.
Let's keep photographing.
Let's keep those photons flying.
Let's keep the environment stable.
And let's let this beautiful girl continue writing her story.
Until next week...
Keep shining, Chem Brรปlรฉe Pheno B.
Growers Love, happy growing, and take care everyone! ๐ฑ๐
See you next week in the 8ร8 jungle. ๐ฟ๐ฎโ๏ธ๐ฅ
