Cannamethodz Starting a new project! I just began this grow and, to be honest, it's still too early to know for sure how it's going to go, but for now the plants seem to be responding quite well.
Anyway, this grow is quite a challenge for me: it's the first time I'm trying to grow indoors during the summer. Controlling the temperatures and humidity with the outside heat is going to be a good test, but let's see how the experience goes!

Cannamethodz SOG Setup and Genetics (80x80)
Growing Type: Indoor / Sea of Green (SOG)
Cabinet Size: 80x80 cm
Photoperiod: 20/4 (Vegetative Phase) Changing to 12/12
The Varieties (9 Pots in Total)
Gary Payton: A vigorous hybrid with a strong punch. Shows excellent lateral growth and thick stems.
Mimosa x Orange Punch: Fast growth, compact structure, with wide index-style fan leaves and lots of vitality.
Queen of Soul x Trap Junky (The One in the Center): The wildcard of the cabinet. With a strong sativa dominance (inherited from the Cinderella 99 line), it shows a profile of thinner, sharper leaves, and a slightly slower vegetative pace than its indica neighbors.
Evolution and Current Status (Day 13)
The vegetative phase has been a blast. Growing with a light cycle of 20/4 has kept the plants' metabolism running at full speed.
First Days (Days 1-8): Quick root settling. The Gary Payton and Mimosa x Orange Punch took off immediately, showing short internodal distance and excellent canopy distribution. The Queen of Soul cross started with a more relaxed pace, typical of its sativa heritage.
The Explosion (Days 9-13): Massive canopy expansion in just 72 hours. The leaves are already filling the 80x80 space, almost touching each other.
The plants remain very compact, at about 20-25 cm, which is the ideal sweet spot for a high-density SOG.

Cannamethodz Hey everyone! We officially enter the most interesting phase. The plants have responded amazingly during the vegetative stage, showing a strong structure, compact internodes, and a very healthy dark green color that proves the substrate and nutrition are on point.
Taking advantage of the first day of the photoperiod change to 12/12, I decided to give them a low-stress trim (lollipop) and a pretty intense strategic defoliation.
Actions of the week:
Low-stress trim (Lollipop): Completely cleared the lower third. I removed all the small shoots and lower screen leaves that barely receive light. The goal is clear: concentrate all the energy of the stretch on the main tips to achieve massive buds and avoid weak satellite buds.
Defoliation: I removed some large leaves to open up the center of the plant and maximize light penetration from the LED panel into the middle areas.
Flow optimization: Now the space between pots is completely clean, allowing the fan to move air without resistance, which will keep humidity in check during full bloom.
Cultivation parameters:
Photoperiod: 12/12
Strain: Gary Payton
Lighting: LED (adjusting height for stretch)
Overall health: 10/10. The main stems are clean and well-defined, ready to start forming the first pre-flowers.
Leave your comments or tips for this stretch phase! Good vibes 🌿💨

Cannamethodz 🗓️ Week 2 of Flowering (Day 9 to 12/12) — Summer Stretch and Precision Nutrition (Multistrain)
Hey everyone, community! I'm updating the diary after 9 days since switching the photoperiod to 12/12. The garden is looking spectacular, and the three strains I have in the cabinet —Gary Payton, Mimosa, and Queen of Soul— are responding wonderfully to the start of the flowering phase.
✂️ Pruning Evolution, Canopy, and Different Structures
The defoliation and lollipop I did right when switching to 12/12 have been a resounding success across all three varieties. None have shown signs of stress; on the contrary, they've channeled all their energy into the main tips:
Gary Payton: Maintains a super robust and compact structure, with strong lateral branches and beautifully dark green leaves.
Mimosa: Shows excellent vigor at this start of stretching, preparing to form those characteristic tips of the strain.
Queen of Soul: As a good heir to her lineage, she shows the most stylized and elegant stretch. I've had to play a bit with the heights to keep the canopy uniform under the LED panel.
The entire canopy is super well leveled, and the leaves look incredibly firm, pointing upwards ("praying") and showing impeccable turgor.
🌡️ Environmental Parameters (July Grow ☀️)
Growing in mid-July is always a challenge, but the parameters are staying quite controlled thanks to the efficiency of the LED:
Temperature: 28 °C (pretty stable for the summer season we're in).
Relative Humidity (RH): 40%.
VPD Strategy: Being in a dry and warm environment typical of this time, I’m closely monitoring transpiration. To prevent the plants from absorbing too many salts due to high foliar evaporation, I’m keeping very balanced watering and alternating plain water with regulated pH.
Feeding Plan (Transition Phase)
I've started this week with the first dose of specific nutrients for this phase:
1. Aptus Regulator (0.15 ml/L): My lifesaver for combating thermal stress at 28 °C and providing that key silicon that will give rigidity to the branches (vital for Queen of Soul and Mimosa during their stretching phases). (Always mixed first in the tank!).
2. BAC Organic Bloom (1 ml/L): Starting with a gentle, organic dose to feed the substrate without over-saturating it.
3. Bud Candy (2 ml/L): We begin to provide carbohydrates and simple sugars to energize the plant and feed the micro-life.
Note: The Bloombastic is kept stored in the cabinet until week 4 or 5, when the buds are formed and ready to bulk up.
Overall health is 10/10. The pre-flowers are about to burst at the tips of all the strains, and the airflow in the lower area is perfect. This is promising!
Leave your opinions, advice on these strains, and good vibes in the comments! 🌿👇
