KurtHighgrade Hi๐ Jack Frost Widow auto is as vital and fast as her other sisters from Monkey Genetics in that tent.
She got no time to waste and seems to like the ATAMI fertilizers quite much.
How much fun it is to me to get back to mineral feeding and to apply it onto automatics.
I don't grow automatics very often but I'm always fascinated by the way they grow.
In my opinion it's much easier to harm an automatic than a photoperiodic plant.
With automatics you have to be a good at what you are doing every single second of the grow to get max results - and this is exactly what keeps my motivation high.
This grow and contest is therefore very adventurous to me and pushes me to show my best.

KurtHighgrade Hi๐ Both Jack Frost s got such a high growth rate so that they gained more than 10cm in height last week.
Great genetical disposition, strict climate and VPD control and of cause dope fertilizers (plants seem to love it๐ฏ) paved the way for this quickness. They are even faster than the triploids I grew.
I changed the LEDs and got now an even and homogeneous PPFD everywhere now inside the tent with the SANlight Evo 5 led. It's really worth every extra penny u pay for it.
Don't be fooled by the colour of the leaves in the pics, it's darker than they show ( a bit lighter than the Wimbledon green๐)

KurtHighgrade Hi๐ Skipped a week and both Jack Frost Widow s started to flower all over one week ago.
The plant on the left got slightly burnt leave tips due to over fertilisation combined with aggressive heat- and wind stress.
From day one on she couldn't cope with the same dosages as her sisters.
Shouldn't be a too big problem the next weeks...

KurtHighgrade ๐One Jack Frost Widow continues with it's enormous stretch and was already 131cm
tall. She's gaining nearly 10cm a day (today she's already at 175cm).
The other one's 115 cm and shows many bud sites but not that many like the bigger one. She's a real auto monster and seems to like Bloombastic. Thumbs up, Atami๐๐ผ
The yellowing of the bigger one's leaf tips decreased and I could reduce her N2 overload through watering with osmosis water mixed with a bit out of of the tab (EC 0.2).
The smaller ones is transiting faster into mid bloom, both are showing a bit of resin.
I brought out CHRYSOPERTA CARNEA, a predator who's feeding on many different pests.
Look at his big fangs! They don't need very high humidity to thrive - ideal for bloom.
