KurtHighgrade Hi💚 Jack Frost Widow auto is as vital and fast as her other sisters from Monkey Genetics in that tent.
She got no time to waste and seems to like the ATAMI fertilizers quite much.
How much fun it is to me to get back to mineral feeding and to apply it onto automatics.
I don't grow automatics very often but I'm always fascinated by the way they grow.
In my opinion it's much easier to harm an automatic than a photoperiodic plant.
With automatics you have to be a good at what you are doing every single second of the grow to get max results - and this is exactly what keeps my motivation high.
This grow and contest is therefore very adventurous to me and pushes me to show my best.
Happy growing💚⭐🍀🌞🖖🏽

KurtHighgrade Hi💚 Both Jack Frost s got such a high growth rate so that they gained more than 10cm in height last week.
Great genetical disposition, strict climate and VPD control and of cause dope fertilizers (plants seem to love it💯) paved the way for this quickness. They are even faster than the triploids I grew.
I changed the LEDs and got now an even and homogeneous PPFD everywhere now inside the tent with the SANlight Evo 5 led. It's really worth every extra penny u pay for it.
Don't be fooled by the colour of the leaves in the pics, it's darker than they show ( a bit lighter than the Wimbledon green😉)

KurtHighgrade Hi💚 Skipped a week and both Jack Frost Widow s started to flower all over one week ago.
The plant on the left got slightly burnt leave tips due to over fertilisation combined with aggressive heat- and wind stress.
From day one on she couldn't cope with the same dosages as her sisters.
Shouldn't be a too big problem the next weeks...
Happy growing 💚⭐🌞🍀

KurtHighgrade 💚One Jack Frost Widow continues with it's enormous stretch and was already 131cm
tall. She's gaining nearly 10cm a day (today she's already at 175cm).
The other one's 115 cm and shows many bud sites but not that many like the bigger one. She's a real auto monster and seems to like Bloombastic. Thumbs up, Atami👍🏼
The yellowing of the bigger one's leaf tips decreased and I could reduce her N2 overload through watering with osmosis water mixed with a bit out of of the tab (EC 0.2).
The smaller ones is transiting faster into mid bloom, both are showing a bit of resin.
I brought out CHRYSOPERTA CARNEA, a predator who's feeding on many different pests.
Look at his big fangs! They don't need very high humidity to thrive - ideal for bloom.
Happy growing💚🍀⭐🖖🏼

KurtHighgrade Hi 💚 56 days were done when I shot these pics of Jack Frost Widow.on the pics. She's now ripening.
I separated the tall one, she seems to have a defect - buds stayed small and ripened much too fast. She's about to be harvested tonight, after 62 days all together. Nearly all trichomes are already milky.
Happy growing 💚 🍀 🌞 🖖🏼

KurtHighgrade Hi💚 Jack Frost Widow after 71 days. As fast as promised and she has been harvested a few hours later. Nearly all Trichomes were milky, a very few amber.
She's got a fruity scent, I'd say strawberry. Her sister smelled like orange bud.
It was fun taking part in the ATAMI competition with this plant and I can definitely say that all ATAMI fertilizers, booster and stimulants I used seem to be quite effective as some pics also tell.
Easy to handle, not too costly and save to use.
I've been using more aggressive mineral nutrients in the past when I started indoor growing and experienced symptoms of overfeeding many times back then.
This ATAMI line I used is much smoother, yet effective.
Unfortunately I didn't read the rules of the contest correctly and didn't take six pics of the living plant with ATAMI products. So I had to take them after having harvested her nearly completely😂🙃 I'll be wiser with the other two strains in the contest🍀
Peace and happy growing 💚 🍀 ⭐🖖🏼
Jack Frost Widow automatic
The fusion of the two dutch icons Jack Herer and White Widow results in a sativa dominant strain which reflects some of the nicest attributes of her parents.
You can expect an uplifting, energising and inspiring buzz which can might get a bit trippy in larger doses. A perfect daytime smoke but it's also nice in a blend with an indica at night.
This strain has a certain effect on the visual appearance of things.
Like advertised, she's quite potent, she's got the sativa magic inside of her genes!
The scent and taste are very good, fruity, orange and a bit lime. Very loud. Everybody will look at you when opening a bag:))
Unfortunately one plant fell victim to mildew, the other plant had only tiny buds.
I had to throw away many buds, so the outcome is much smaller than this strain's potential.
Jack Frost Widow by Monkey Genetics reawakened my love for Sativas and I'm very happy that I picked this strain for the Atami contest.
