BudsPerMinute Week 1 Due to the heatwave in Germany, the plants had a rough start, but they're doing well! Mid-week, they were directly put into the 11L pots since the soil in the small pots was dust dry in just 2 days.

BudsPerMinute Week 2 At the beginning of the week, we topped above the 4th node! Additionally, I watered a little since the soil on top is dry and still moist below. Towards the end of the week, I used the first LST clips, and as you can unfortunately see, one of the shoots broke off from the plant that already didn’t look optimal. However, I immediately fixed it with tape, and after 3 days, the shoot was happily back on.

BudsPerMinute Week 3 At the beginning of week 3, I watered the pots all the way to the drain for the first time so that the plant could finally stretch its roots into every corner. Unfortunately, the not-so-optimally growing Sushi was unintentionally topped four times by clips that didn't bend very well... This pheno really has extremely brittle branches, so I will have to handle this plant much more carefully in the future. The other 2 Zushis are doing extremely well and are growing very evenly and cleanly, handling the training like it's nothing.

BudsPerMinute Week 6 Nothing special, just watching the stretch and waiting until we need to start with the base nutrients. At the end of the week, I sorted out the brittle pheno in the back right! I already knew from the start that I had to pay a bit more attention to this plant since it has grown very uniquely compared to its sisters... But yeah, all in all, it had a few pollen sacs at the flower sites up top. The multiple topping was probably just too much for it. The other two are doing great, so no pollen sacs so far, and they are growing happily along.

BudsPerMinute Week 7 The stretch is coming to an end and the Zushi testers are developing more and more white hairs! As long as the plants look this healthy, I won't be fertilizing, and on day 21, there will be some serious defoliation!

BudsPerMinute Week 8 The Zushi Hybrid testers are fully in bloom and are already very frosty! Throughout the week, we're gradually pushing the nutrients to the maximum and always checking the drain EC values for safety. So far, really a great strain!

BudsPerMinute Week 10 Slowly, a proper scent greets you when opening the tent! It's hard to describe the smell; at this point, I would say it's very fruity, gassy, and sweet. What also stands out is the resin production of this strain! Every millimeter of the flower and every sugar leaf has an incredibly dense layer of resin. I hope this fact doesn't lead to bud rot in the final bloom, so the dehumidifier is already running at full speed!

BudsPerMinute Week 11 At the beginning of the week, I watered with Flash Clean to free the soil from salts. After that, it will only be Final Part until the harvest to really squeeze out the last % of mass from the genetics! The smell is truly breathtaking! Candy, gas is probably the best way to describe it right now. Additionally, I can already say that we will definitely not be in the XXL yield range, but in a very good XL range. However, with such strains, it’s not about raw mass anyway, but about indulging all the senses... The appearance and smell are already 10/10, and if it tastes as good as it smells, it will really be a hit!

BudsPerMinute Week 12 Wow, within just 1 week, the plants have changed their color! You can tell that Blue Zushi is in the genetics not only by the beautiful almost black color but also by the really intense terpene profile! This week, we will probably harvest since the first trichomes are already amber-colored.

Happy Harvest Day!
Rated
10/10

Since the general conditions weren't particularly harsh, a largely stress-free run was actually to be expected. However, one phenotype stood out from the beginning with a very special, almost abnormal growth. The shoots were extremely brittle and broke off at the slightest touch. This constant mechanical stress ultimately led to a strong formation of pollen sacs – which was absolutely foreseeable under these circumstances but in the end, it's not that big of a deal. The other two plants, on the other hand, grew absolutely homogeneously and completely stress-free. They impressed with a great, stable branching, combined with a remarkably fast flowering phase. By the end, they developed the beautiful dark blue to almost black leaves typical of Blue Zushi – visually just an absolute highlight! The smell at harvest time is definitely candy-gas, but we'll wait until everything is dried.
