The stronger of the two ladies will take the race and make her way into the setup – I’m curious to see how quickly the roots will show what they’re made of. To start this round, two seeds of the Frosted Grapes XXL went into the germination phase. We started classically with the moist paper towel method – and it was a complete success: Both seeds quickly and evenly cracked open and developed strong taproots. Immediately after, both seedlings went into the substrate. After a short time, they stretched their little heads out of the soil and are already showing the first juicy green cotyledons and leaves. Thus, the head-to-head race is officially on: Both ladies are looking vigorous, but in the end, the stronger and more growth-happy one will take the race and conquer the main setup. An absolutely successful start to the germination week – I’m excited to see who will be ahead in the coming days!
